Chapter 58.
Peace before the storm.
Several days have passed since the war ended, however its consequences are still in effect.
Endeavor, with his new prosthetic arm, finds himself sitting in a room with the rest of the top ten heroes, or at least the ones that are still alive, and some other heroes.
In addition to him, in the room there were also Hawks, Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, Mirko and Ryukyu, as part of the top 10 survivors, there were also other heroes, including Fat Gum, Sir Nighteye, Gang Orca, the Pussycats , Gran Torino and Rock Lock.
On the other hand, Toshinori was also present, as a former symbol of peace.
Finally there were also some professors from the UA, representing the academy were Eraserhead, Present Mic, Vlad King and Nezu.
Outside of the heroes were several people in suits, representing the government.
- "This is bad, we have lost many heroes in this conflict."- Said the president of the WHA (World Heroes Association) of Japan. – "Crust, Kamui Woods, Wash, Yoroi Musha, Gunhead, Snipe, Mt. Lady, Death Arms, X-Less, Tiger, and I'm just mentioning a few... we have lost more than 150 professional heroes in total..."-
(AN: From what I know, and I was able to corroborate in the Manga, there are more than 400 heroes in Japan, if you're wondering how I know this... the Pussycats are ranked number 411, so... yeah).
- "I know... but it was either that or we all die... we are all saddened by their deaths... but right now the best thing to do is make sure their sacrifices weren't in vain."- Endeavor said.
- "We know... with everything that's happened... we've been lucky."- The president said. – "However... that's not all I want to talk about... that thing that appeared in the sky... what the hell was that?"-
Endeavor remains silent, but is quick to answer. - "That thing... is a Digimon."-
- "And what the hell is a Digimon?"- The president asked.
Endeavor was about to answer, but someone did before him. – "Let me answer that question."- To everyone's surprise Nezu was the one who answered and to everyone's greatest surprise, except for Aizawa, the UA staff and Endeavor, Nezu returns to his real appearance, Bokomon. – "But I'll need you to not interrupt me until I'm done."-
After this Bokomon proceeds to reveal everything about Digimon, from what Digimon are to the truth behind Lucemon,
- "So creatures like that exist..."- One of the heroes said.
- "Agni, Sylph... that explains a lot."- Ryukyu said.
- "Chargebolt too..." – Fat Gum said.
- "Wolf…"- Edgeshot said.
- "That creatures like this exist is something very important, why did you hide it from us for so long?"- The president asked.
- "You said it yourself... this is something that will change society as we know it, that's why we wanted to wait for the right moment to reveal it... however it seems that Lucemon was ahead of us."- Aizawa said.
- "That's right, upon hearing what happened, I have decided to explain the situation to the entire UA staff, since five of my students are famous, chosen ones."- Bokomon said.
- "Speaking of those "chosen ones"... what are we going to do with them?"- The president asked. – "If you allow me, I would like some of my scientists to do tests on them, I want to know more about their relationship with the Digimon and those legendary warriors."-
Suddenly the atmosphere changed to a tense one. – "I'm sorry president... but I can't allow you to do that to my students, they are still minors and are under my care."- Bokomon said.
But Bokomon wasn't the only angry one, Endeavor slams the table. – "I don't care if you are the representative of the WHA in Japan... if you try to lay a finger on my children... I assure you that you will regret it."-
- "I can't let you do that to my interns, Agni and Sylph are also my responsibility."- Ryukyu said.
- "What she said, Chargebolt is a good boy and should be treated as such."- Fat Gum said.
- "Despite his relationship with the Digimon, Wolf and his friends are still human, and they have rights."- Edgeshot said.
- "Alright, alright... I won't do anything..."- The president said. – "Better let's talk about something else... the last topic I want to discuss is the captured villains."-
The police chief then speaks. – "Not counting the Digimon, we've captured almost the entire league of villains, seven out of eight villains captured in total."- The chief police said. – "Kenji Hikishi aka Magne, Atsuhiro Sako aka Mr. Compress, Shuichi Iguchi aka Spinner, Jin Bubaigawara aka Twice, Himiko Toga, Chizome Akaguro aka Stain and their leader Shigaraki Tomura have been captured. The villain Dabi has completely disappeared from the map, his current location is unknown."-
- "One of them has escaped... this can be dangerous..." – One of the heroes said.
Bokomon and Aizawa look at Endeavor, but he shakes his head.
- "We will think well what to do with the villain Dabi, there is another thing to say about some members of the league of villains."- The chief said. – "Five of them seem to have no notion of consciousness, their bodies are fine, but they don't respond to people's words, it's as if their minds are blank." –
- "Who are they?"-
- "Himiko Toga, Jin Bubaigawara, Chizome Akaguro, and Shigaraki Tomura."- The chief said.
- "I see... If I'm not mistaken, the first three were the hosts of the consciousness of three Digimon, while Shigaraki is the host of Lucemon's consciousness, most likely when they lost those tenants their minds were damaged... especially Tomura's, if I remember correctly, he went through a special procedure..."- Bokomon said.
- "What do you suggest we do?"-
- "With the exception of Tomura, wait, their minds will heal on their own."- Bokomon said.
- "This is getting weirder..."- The president said. – "There is only one thing for sure, no more secrets, when this meeting ends we will reveal the Digimon to the public."-
- "I agree with that."- Endeavor said. – "This time we were lucky, Lucemon only revealed it to the heroes, however, if he had revealed it to the public... it could have caused a lot of trouble, because of everything that happened we have to reveal it, it's better that people hear it through us, Nezu may not like it, but it's what we have to do."-
- "You're right, I don't like it."- Bokomon said. – "But it's the right thing. And by the way, it's Bokomon now."-
- "Alright, with this issue resolved, let's move on to the next topic..."- The president said.
After this the meeting continued for a few more hours, however, this place was not the only place where revelations occurred.

In the dormitories of class 1-A, a conversation similar to that of the hero meeting was taking place, Izuku and the rest of the chosen ones, except Toya who was at home, decided to tell the truth about their powers.
Of course this caused the rest of their classmates to be incredulous. – "W-What? This must be a joke..."- Sero said.
- "It may sound like that... but I assure you it is not."- Izuku said. – "Our powers are not quirks and neither is it an evolution as we told you before."-
- "We actually got these powers by being chosen by Digimon who gave us their powers."- Shinso said.
- "And the Digimon, you said they were..."- Kirishima said.
- "Living creatures made of data which live in a world made of data existing parallel to ours."- Melissa said.
- "And when we said that we were going to investigate about the evolution of the quirks, in reality we were going to this world to help with some problems."- Kaminari said.
- "And who's the sixth guy that joined you?" –
- "That's my older brother, Toya."- Shoto said. – "Apparently he was a victim of Lucemon, but managed to recover and join us."-
The silence continues for a few seconds until someone broke the silence. – "Heh... this looks like Super Sentai... you know, the five main heroes and the sixth one joining later."-
A little awkward silence was maintained for a few seconds but then the laughter began, lightening the atmosphere a bit.
The rest of the day continued and although at first the theme of the Digimon and the chosen ones was uncomfortable, after a while it became something normal.

The next day was Sunday, that is, a day of rest.
At this moment we are on the roof of the dormitories of class 1-A, where Izuku and Melissa were lying, one next to the other, while watching the sky, both of them were alone since they wanted some time for themselves.
- "We have some hard days from here on..."- Izuku said.
Melissa turns to see her boyfriend. - "What do you mean?"- She asked.
- "With all the Digimon and our powers... there will be a lot to do."- Izuku said. – "We won't have much free time."-
Melissa thinks about Izuku's words for a moment and an idea occurs to her. – "In that case we must take advantage of the time we have free."- Melissa said as she gets up. – "We have never had time for ourselves, what do you think if we take advantage of the day and go out somewhere? Just the two of us."-
Hearing this, Izuku blushes. – "Y-You mean... a date?"- He asked.
Melissa blushes too, although her blush is less than Izuku's. - "Yes. We've never had a chance to have a date, so why not now?"- She said.
Izuku listens for a moment and then smiles. - "Yes… Yes, you're right. Let's do it!"- Izuku said.
- "In this case I'm going to change to something nicer, I'll see you in a bit!"- Melissa said before going to her room to change.
Izuku, for his part, remains processing what happened and then quickly goes to his room to change into something appropriate for a date.

- *In other news, the villain known as Dabi is still missing, authorities...* - The television suddenly goes off.
- "Well good luck finding him...or me… I don't know."- Toya said while holding the TV remote in his hand while lying in the sofa of the living room.
At that his sister enters the room. – "Toya... how long do you plan to wear those clothes?"- Fuyumi asked.
Toya looks at himself and sees how he still has Dabi's clothes on. – "I don't have any other clothes..."- He said.
- "And why don't you ask Natsuo for some?"- Fuyumi asked.
- "Natsuo has no style... he only has white clothes..."- Toya said.
Fuyume shakes her head while pinching the bridge of her nose. – "It's good that you're back... but you're a child in the body of an adult..."- Fuyumi said. – "Natsuo!"-
- "What?!"- Natsuo yells from his room.
- "Lend Toya some clothes!"- Fuyumi says before turning to her older brother. – "Get ready Toya, because we're going shopping!"-
- "What?! No thank you…"- Toya said.
- "I'm not asking you! Now go change!"- Fuyumi said.
- "You can't boss me around! I am the oldest of all of us, in any case I am the one who should rule here!"- Toya said.
- "You may be the older brother... but you don't work... you didn't even finish your education, I already work and Natsuo is finishing his studies... so as long as you're not an independent adult you have to listen to me!"- Fuyumi said.
Toya is speechless and all he does is pout, at that moment Natsuo arrives with some clothes, Toya takes them and goes to his room.
- "It feels so good to be the boss here while mom and dad are not here…"- Fuyumi said.

Shopping Mall.
- "So this is Kiyashi's shopping mall..."- Melissa said as she looked around the place.
The girl is dressed in a different outfit than the one she always wears, now she is wearing a white blouse with a flower motif, some jean shorts, a pair of brown boots and white stockings.
- "The last time I came here was with my whole class..."- Izuku said.
Like Melissa, Izuku wears other clothes than what he usually wears, now Izuku wears a dark blue polo shirt and light blue shorts, in addition to his always trusty red shoes.
- "So where do we go first?"- Melissa said as she hugged Izuku's arm.
Izuku obviously blushes. - "I-I don't know, maybe we can go to a cafeteria?"- Izuku said with some doubt. – "I'm sorry... I'm not very good at these things, I never thought that one day I would have a date with someone..."-
Melissa giggles. - "Just let yourself go."- She said. – "Besides, I don't know much about this either... it's my first time on a date too."-
This makes Izuku feel more relaxed. – "W-well... in that case..."- Izuku started to speak, but a voice interrupted him... however said voice tensed Izuku.
- "Hey! Isn't that Deku?"- Said voice said.
- "Wait... yes, yes he is."- Another voice said. – "Hey! Deku!"-
Looking in the direction of the voices, Melissa and Izuku can see two guys approaching.
- "Friends of yours?"- Melissa asked.
- "Former high school classmates."- Izuku said, those two were never his friends.
One of the two boys put his arm around Izuku's neck, but unlike before, this time this gesture was... friendly? - "Deku! It's been a while since we last saw each other!"-
The boy has a long face and a disinterested expression and straight brown hair, while the other boy has a disinterested expression and short black hair.
(AN: I honestly don't remember the names of Izuku's classmates, I think they were never mentioned... so I'll invent some names for them, if you wonder who they are, they are the two who were always with Bakugo.)
- "Mishima-san, Sakurai-san, it's a... surprise to see you here."- Izuku said with a somewhat serious tone.
- "Come on Deku! Don't be like that, can't we say hello to an old friend?"- One of the boys, Mishima, said.
- "You and I aren't exactly friends..."- Izuku said.
- "Well... right, still..."- The boy who had his arm around Izuku's neck, Sakurai, said, but trailed off as he finally noticed Melissa's presence. – "Who's that hot girl?"- He asked while extending his finger, thanks to his quirk, and pointing at Melissa.
Melissa, annoyed by the comment, decided to respond to these two boys. - "I'm Melissa Shield and I'm Izuku's girlfriend."- Melissa said as she took Izuku by the arm and pulled him from both boys.
Upon hearing Melissa's words, both boys are left with their mouths open and their eyes wide with surprise as they look at Izuku. – "What?!"- They both said.
In that both boys quickly stand next to Izuku. - "Deku... no, Midoriya! Your lucky dog!"- Sakurai said.
- "You have to teach us your ways!"- Mishima said. – "That girl is a perfect 10!"-
- "I'm right here, you know!"- Melissa said.
- "Guys... this is very uncomfortable for me..."- Izuku said.
Hearing this, both boys move a few inches away from Izuku and stand in front of him. – "Yeah… right, sorry…"- Mishima said. – "In fact... that's exactly why we approached..."-
- "Yeah… We've been wanting to do something for a long time... and when we saw you we took the opportunity to do it..."- Sakurai said.
Izuku expected the worst, but to his surprise both boys bow to Izuku. – "We are very sorry!"-
This takes Izuku by surprise who could only say one thing. - "W-What…?"-
Both boys get back up. - "That... we're sorry."- Sakurai said. – "We behaved very badly with you... so we want to apologize..."-

- "Yes and... you don't have to... but if you want we can try to be real friends... if you want you can find us at Gakuen."- Sakurai said. – "See you and... good luck on your date."-
After this, both boys leave the place, leaving Izuku completely surprised.
Izuku turns to see Melissa, who looks at him curiously, Izuku smiles at her. - "I think we were in the middle of a date, right?"- Izuku said.
Melissa smiles and Izuku takes her hand and they both continue with their date.
In another part of the mall, Fuyumi is found waiting outside a clothing store for her brother who is picking out some new clothes. – "Alright, I'm ready."- Fuyumi turns to look and can see her brother, with clothes that are somewhat different from what she expected.
Toya is now wearing a red shirt, black jeans and brown boots, but the interesting thing is that he also has a black jacket with a similar style to the one he wore when he was Dabi. In addition to that he has a necklace with the design of a black lion and a bracelet in the shape of an Egyptian sphinx, also black.
- "What do you think? Cool, right?"- Toya said.
- "Really? I thought your stage as Dabi is something you didn't want to remember again..."- Fuyumi said.
- "That's true... but you can't deny that Dabi has style."- Toya said.
Fuyumi just shakes her head. – "Alright, let's buy some more clothes and head home..."-

- "I'm glad... I'm glad to know that I did well."- Izuku said with a smile.
Melissa smiles and kisses Izuku on the cheek. – "Don't be so hard on yourself, you did well."- She said. – "Now we better go back, it seems that the weather is about to get worse."-
And it's true, the wind has started to be stronger than normal, nothing worrying, just a little more wind.
But before the two could return, a familiar voice interrupts them. – "Wow, I didn't expect to find you two here."- The two turn to look and see Toya approaching.
- "Toya-san, what are you doing here?"- Izuku asked.
- "I came to buy some new clothes, well, more like my sister forced me to come."- Toya said.
- "And where is your sister?"- Melissa asked.
- "She went back home with the rest of my clothes."- Toya said. – "For my part, I wanted to explore the city a bit, it's good to be able to go out without being someone wanted by the law, and what are you two doing here?"-
- "Well... we take advantage of the day off to have a date."- Izuku said.
- "I see... love."- Toya said.
