Chapter 66.
Lucemon: Origins.
Digital world.
Prehistoric time.
(Technically this is a flashback, but as will be long, I won't write it in italics)
- "Lucemon, welcome… my child."- Those were the first words that Lucemon, still in his Child form, heard the day he was born.
Lucemon Child takes the appearance of a blue-eyed blond-haired boy wrapped in white cloth, a modern depiction of the mythological angel. It bears eight angelic wings on its back, two on its head, and two around its waist for a total of twelve wings. Lucemon wears a Holy Ring on each of its arms and legs and has the symbol of the Zero Unit on its right hand and the Digital Hazard on its left. It also has purple tattoos on its left arm and leg, and on the left side of its chest and face.
- "Lucemon... is that me?"- Lucemon asked.
- "That's right, I am Yggdrasil, it could be said that you are my son."- Yggdrasil said.
Lucemon looks around, he is surrounded by several digimon angels.
Time passes and all this time Lucemon remains in the heaven of the digital world, learning about the angels and Yggdrasil, but especially he has generated a bond with six digimon angels, two of them are a Seraphimon and an Ophanimon.
One of those days Lucemon reached the limits of the sky and looked down, a world full of Digimon to meet. – "I see that you are interested in the digital world."- Yggdrasil said.
- "Digital world?"- Lucemon asked.
- "Yes, it's the world that I created... everything you see here was created by me." – Yggdrasil said. – "I function as the god of this world; I make sure that everything is correct."-
- "Cool!"- Lucemon said.
- "Soon... you will take my position and continue with my work, that is why I created you."- Yggdrasil said.
- "I... I will be the next god."- Lucemon said.
- "Yes... but there is still a long time for that, you still have a lot to learn."- Yggdrasil said.
- "I can't wait!"- Lucemon said. – "Can I go there? I want to see your creation!"-
- "No, it's not the time yet, you have to be patient."- Yggdrasil said.
- "Okay…"- Lucemon said.
Time continues and Lucemon becomes increasingly desperate, he wants to know the digital world, with the help of some angels, and without Yggdrasil noticing, Lucemon goes down to the digital world.
At first everything was great, Lucemon was delighted with the creation of Yggdrasil, so much life, so many different digimon, however that day would also mark the origin of the first great demon lord.
The Digimon killed each other, but everything was to survive, the digimon of this time could not digivolve on their own, they need the data of another digimon to become stronger and the only way to do it is by killing another weaker Digimon.
All this death and suffering left Lucemon so shocked that he began to wonder, why would Yggdrasil allow this... shouldn't she make sure this didn't happen?
- "No... this can't be... maybe Yggdrasil doesn't know about this... I have to tell her!"- Without wasting any more time, Lucemon returns to heaven.
Once back with Yggdrasil, Lucemon tells the god everything he saw, however Yggdrasil's response wasn't what Lucemon expected. – "So you disobeyed me and went down to the digital world..."- Yggdrasil said. – "What a disappointment..."-
- "I know, but that doesn't matter now, the Digimon are suffering, something has to be done!"- Lucemon said.
- "No, there is nothing to do, we have to let the world move forward without our intervention."- Yggdrasil said.
- "What are you talking about?! Do nothing?! You can't say that… the Digimon die, and you won't do anything?!"- Lucemon said.
- "Lucemon, there was a reason why I didn't let you go down to the digital world, the reason is..."- Yggdrasil said but is interrupted by Lucemon.
- "You wouldn't let me down so I wouldn't see all this... that means you already knew... you already knew, and you didn't do anything... you really don't care about the digital world..."- Lucemon said.
- "You are wrong, if I care about the world I created, but what you must understand is that we cannot interfere, not anymore, things must follow their course naturally, without interventions."- Yggdrasil said.
- "Not if it means all the Digimon will die!"- Lucemon said and, without wanting to hear another word from Yggdrasil, he leaves.
Some angels wanted to follow them, but Yggdrasil did not allow it, she knows that Lucemon needs time alone, what she did not know is that this would mark the point of no return for Lucemon.
Back in the Digital World, Lucemon finds himself in a cave, angry at everything he heard. – "This can't be... impossible... why?!"- Lucemon said while repeatedly hitting the ground. – "I can't accept this... I don't accept it!"- At that moment the darkness took over Lucemon, he began to shine, to Digivolve.
When the glow died, now Lucemon was changed, he was no longer the angel Digimon before, he has become a fallen angel, he has become Lucemon Falldown Mode.
After a while, Yggdrasil gathers the angels, worried that Lucemon has not returned, she decides to send some angels to look for him, however, before she could give orders, Lucemon arrives with his new look.
- "Hello... did you miss me? Sorry, I was away, but I'm back."- Lucemon said.
- "Lucemon... what happened to you?"- Yggdrasil said.
- "I had a revelation... and also a change of appearance."- Lucemon said.
- "I sense darkness within you... did you let the darkness influence you?"- Yggdrasil asked.
- "You have no right to scold me!"- Lucemon said before looking at the angels. – "Angel brothers... you don't have to follow this hypocrite!"-
- "Lucemon! Don't disrespect Yggdrasil, she is your god!"- One of the angels said.
- "A God? She is not my god!"- Lucemon said. – "Would a god allow his creations to suffer?! Down there there are Digimon killing each other, but they don't do it because they want to, they do it to survive, if they don't, they will die, the digital world is a world where death is the only option, if you don't kill, you die!"-
- "Enough Lucemon!"- Yggdrasil said.
- "What's up Yggdrasil?! Scared of the truth coming out?!"- Lucemon said. – "This is our god! A hypocrite!"-
All this commotion generates murmurs, most of the angels believe that Lucemon has gone mad, but others... they may be reconsidering things.
- "She has the power to stop this, but she doesn't use it! She doesn't care about this world!"- Lucemon said.
- "You do not get it! A god's job is not simply to make the world the way he wants... the world has to evolve on its own, if I don't trust the world I created, then I wouldn't have."- Yggdrasil said. – "I can't take away the free will from Digimon!"-
- "Free will...if free will means everyone kills each other...maybe for the best they don't have it."- Lucemon said.
- "Enough!"- Yggdrasil said, forcing Lucemon to his knees. – "I'm disappointed... I see you already made your decision... I thought you would be the right one."-
As Yggdrasil said that, an angel Digimon approaches Lucemon, sword of light in hand.
- "I'm sorry, Lucemon... but I can't allow you to continue with this thought, if you continue like this... there will be no point of return."- Yggdrasil said.
The Angel Digimon swings its sword, but the sword is stopped by Lucemon's hand. – "You're right Yggdrasil, I already made my decision..."- Lucemon takes the angel's sword and with it kills his executioner. – "I am going to overthrow you... and when I become the god of this world... I will destroy it and from the ashes I will create a new one, a world without death, without violence, without suffering, a world of peace, a perfect world!"- Lucemon said.
- "You have lost your mind... nobody will support you."- Saying this, an angel charges at Lucemon, but before it could hit him, the angel is hit by another Digimon, a Seraphimon.
Another Angel Digimon tries to attack Lucemon from behind, but is destroyed by another Digimon, an Ophanimon.
Little by little several Digimon angels defend Lucemon, deciding to join him, putting a smile on the face of the fallen angel. – "It seems that you were wrong... it seems that there are more people who have opened their eyes."- Lucemon creates a sphere of light and dark. – "I'm not stupid... I know I don't have the power to defeat you right now... but soon I will!"- Lucemon fires into the ground, creating a smoke screen, giving him and his new allies a chance to escape.
At that moment, the rebellion of the angels began, the conflict lasted a long time, little by little Lucemon's allies turned into fallen angels and sometime later into Demons, the only fallen angel left was Lucemon himself.
Six of the fallen angels, now demons, that Lucemon befriended while still an angel, became Lucemon's main allies to the point of having powers almost similar to Lucemon's.
Lilithmon, Beelzeemon, Barbamon, Belphemon Rage Mode, Leviamon, Daemon and Lucemon Fallen Mode, the seven became the Seven Great Demon Lords.
The conflict was very even, time passed, and the conflict continued, until something tipped the balance in favor of Yggdrasil, ten Digimon, the first ten Digimon, not counting angel Digimon, to reach the Mega/Ultimate level.
AncientGreymon, AncientGarurumon, AncientKazemon, AncientMegatheriumon, AncientBeetlemon, AncientSphinxmon, AncientMermaidmon, AncientTroiamon, AncientWisemon and AncientVolcanomon, these ten Digimon were known as the Ten Legendary Warriors.
Thanks to the help of these ten warriors, Lucemon and his forces were defeated and imprisoned in the dark area, with the conflict over, peace reigned in the digital world, at least for a while.
Time passed and in the dark area the seven great demon lords gather. – "Now what? It's been a while and now we're locked up here..."- Lilithmon said.
- "This is bullshit! When we get out of here I'm going to kill everyone I see!"- Daemon said.
- "How boring... there is nothing to do here... by the way, where is Lucemon?"- Belphemon said.
- "It's true, sometimes I see him around here, other times he doesn't appear anywhere."- Leviamon said.
- "That's because I've been busy."- Lucemon said appearing suddenly. – "I have discovered the way out of here, so I have taken the opportunity to do things in the digital world." –
- "You know how to get out of here and you didn't tell us anything?!"- Barbamon said.
- "I couldn't risk being found out; I've organized some alliances so that when we return we'll have a bigger army than before."- Lucemon said.
- "Alliances? Who did you ally with?"- Beelzeemon asked.
- "The forces of Puppetmon, MetalSeadramon and the warriors of the sea, Piedmon and his evil army and most importantly, Machinedramon and the metal empire."- Lucemon said.
- "Interesting."- Lilithmon said.
- "Yes, everyone is ready for our return."- Lucemon said. – "It's time to fulfill our mission... destroy the digital world and overthrow Yggdrasil!"-
- "Finally!"- Daemon said.
- "I was getting bored..."- Belphemon said.
- "Exactly, but before that... there's something I have to give you."- Lucemon said and then seven symbols appear in the middle of the group. – "I have managed to compress the power of the dark area into these seven crests, I call them the crests of the deadly sins."-
- "Interesting, but what are they for?"- Leviamon asked.
- "Each of us will bond with one of them and thus we will obtain unimaginable power!"- Lucemon said. – "Whenever you are in trouble, just call on the power of your crest and it will give you great powers."-
- "And who gets which?"- Barbamon asked.
- "I have named the crests with the quality that defines each one of us, each one will keep the crest that defines them."- Lucemon said.
- "Lillithmon, Lust."- Lillithmon smiles.
- "Beelzemon, Gluttony."- Beelzemon reloads his weapon.
- "Barbamon, Greed."- Barbamon touches his jewelry.
- "Belphemon, Sloth."- Belphemon clenches his fists.
- "Leviamon, Envy."- Leviamon laughs.
- "Damon, Wrath."- Daemon roars.
- "Finally me, Lucemon, Pride."- Lucemon said. – "We are the Seven Great Demon Lords and now we have something that identifies us as such."-
Lucemon opens a portal, a portal that will take them out of the dark area into the digital world. – "Come on, we have terror to sow in the digital world."-
This is how the second digital war began, Lucemon's forces bigger than before and now stronger than before, however Lucemon is not the only one who increased his forces, it was here that the Seven Great Demon Lords met the Royal Knights, the new defenders of the digital world.
The war lasted for years, until an event changed everything.
Lucemon is resting for a while, until one of his subordinates approached him. – "Lord Lucemon, we have discovered something that might interest you."- The Digimon, a DemiDevimon, said.
- "Oh, tell me what you heard."- Lucemon said.
- "Apparently one of the royal knights discovered something very interesting, a world different from ours."- DemiDevimon said.
- "A different world… tell me more."- Lucemon said.
- "They called it, Human World, apparently it is a world that exists parallel to ours, it is governed by organic creatures called Humans."- DemiDevimon said.
- "Interesting... and these humans... are they capable of anything?"- Lucemon asked.
- "Apparently... their feelings have interesting effects on us, if used correctly they could enhance our powers."- DemiDevimon said.
- "Now that's useful... maybe I'll pay them a visit."- Lucemon said. – "Take me to where they found this."-
- "Yes, my lord."- DemiDevimon said.
Elsewhere, Omegamon is investigating this new discovery, along with him are Magnamon and Dukemon. – "This is interesting... we'd better warn Yggdrasil about this."- Dukemon said.
- "I agree, but we can't leave this unprotected either, the portal isn't strong enough to cross it, but we can't let it fall into enemy hands, I'll protect it, you deliver the information to Yggdrasil."- Omegamon said.
- "Understood."- Dukemon said, and he and Magnamon leave the place.
Omegamon stays in place, protecting the portal, but in that... – "A portal to the human world... interesting!"- Suddenly a hand pierces Omegamon's chest from behind, that hand is Lucemon's. – "Do you mind if I use it?"-
- "L-Lucemon…"- Omegamon said.
- "Thanks Omegamon, now I have the power to open this portal!"- Lucemon said.
- "What are you…"- Omegamon couldn't finish speaking as Lucemon ripped out his Digicore, destroying him in the process.
- "You will help me to reach this new world."- Lucemon said.
- "Lucemon!"- At that time ten digimon arrived at the place, these ten digimon are recognized by Lucemon.
- "My, my... The famous Ten Legendary Warriors... what a joy to see you again."- Lucemon said.
- "Save it Lucemon, we won't let you do what you want to do!"- AncientGreymon said.
- "Do you want to stop me?"- Lucemon laughs and uses Omegamon's Digicore to open the portal to the human world. – "So follow me... if you dare!"- Lucemon enters the portal while laughing, without wasting time, the Ten Legendary Warriors follow him, the portal closes, but at the moment of closing two small Digimon appear, an Agumon and a Gabumon.

AncientTroiamon had been attacked, so strong that the poor creature had been destroyed and turned into a data explosion. – "Hahaha. Is that all you got? It seems that the famous ten legendary warriors are a joke."- Lucemon said.
- "He is too strong."- Said one of the remaining warriors, AncientKazemon. – "AncientGreymon, what are we gonna do?"- She asks to her leader, AncientGreymon.
The mentioned was silent for a few second. – "I don't know. He just destroyed AncientMermaidmon, AncientWisemon, AncientVolcanomon and now AncientTroiamon."- After saying this, the rest of their companions landed next to them. AncientGarurumon, AncientBeetlemon, AncientMegatheriummon, and AncientSphinxmon. – "We have attacked him with everything, but even so it is not enough. But we can't give up, we have to keep fighting!"- After these words the six warriors attacked Lucemon. – "Gaia Tornado!"- AncientGreymon said while creating a tornado and using it to attack Lucemon. Sadly, the enemy easily destroyed the tornado and with another Paradise Lost Punch managed to knock down AncientGreymon.
- "Sharp Claymore!"- Said AncientGarurumon while attacking with his swords. Lucemon easily dodged the attack and using his Grand Cross attack fired ten spheres of light against AncientGarurumon and knocked him down.
- "Tera Blaster!"- AncientBeetlemon attacks with a super-electrical discharge but that wasn't enough to defeat Lucemon, quickly recovering Lucemon used another Grand Cross to knock down AncientBeetlemon.
- "Rainbow Symphony!"- AncientKazemon uses her rapier to play a symphony of super-fused lasers that shine with the colors of the rainbow but is quickly knocked down by another Paradise Lost Punch from Lucemon.
- "Great Snowplow!"- AncientMegatheriummon charged with his horns against Lucemon but the evil Digimon stopped him and used another Grand Cross to knock him down.
- "Dark Blast!"- AncientSphinxmon fires a laser beam alongside a roar, Lucemon avoids the attack and uses another Grand Cross to attack his enemy. Luckily AnciantSphinxmon managed to resist the attack. Seeing the situation and his friends on the ground, AncientSphinxmon made a difficult decision. – "My friends. Lend me your powers so I can defeat this monster."- In that, AncientSphinxmon began to absorb part of his friends' powers.
Seeing this, the rest of the warriors began to attack Lucemon to distract him while his partner absorbed the power. All but one. AncientGreymon was watching AncientSphinxmon. – "What are you doing?"-
- "What it takes to end this."-
- "It's too much power, you won't survive. Let me do it, I am the leader, I am the one who must sacrifice."-
- "No. Without your leadership the rest are in danger. Please old friend, let me do it."-
- "Very well."- After this AncientGreymon joined the battle. – "Back off!"- He told to his friends. - "Omega Burst!"- He then induces a super-detonation over Lucemon. – "AncientSphinxmon now!"- After the announcement, the rest of the warriors fall back to a safe distance for their partner to attack.
- "Necro Eclipse!"- He attacks with the ultimate annihilation technique which completely envelops Lucemon in the darkness of death.
- "No. This is impossible! NO!"- After this scream Lucemon disappears in a data explosion.
Lucemon was defeated, however this was not his end, his essence continued to roam the world until he joined a human named Shigaraki, who in the future will be known as All for One, however Lucemon was very weak so he couldn't control the human.
Years passed and after a fight that ended with the death of All for One, Lucemon finally awakens, taking control of the human's corpse. – "I'm still alive..." – He smiles. – "Excellent..."-
(AN:Lucemon's appearance is the same as when he possessed the body of All for One.)
Lucemon gets up and tries to use his powers, however he can't. – "My powers... what happened to them? Where are they?!"- Lucemon worries, but in that the memories of the body that he possesses reach him, which makes him angry. – "This damn human... has given away my power! Damn it!"-
It was there that Lucemon's plan began, to recover his powers, but he just couldn't do it, at first he dedicated himself to learning everything about this world, sometime later he met a very important ally, Dr. Kyudai Garaki.
Thanks to this new ally, Lucemon managed to adapt the little power he had left to the new body that he had to possess, he also discovered the way to unite the seven crests of the deadly sins in a single Digimon and there his plan began.
The first phase is to recover his powers, the second phase is to create a conflict in this world big enough to draw the attention of Yggdrasil and return him to the dark area so that he can later meet with the other demon lords, the third part is to make the other demon lords die somehow to seize the other crests, and finally unite the seven crests in his body and thus obtain the necessary power to overthrow Yggrdasil and create a new digital world.
On paper it is simple, but for his plan to be a success he will need a body strong enough to support his full powers, All for One's body is just a corpse that can move thanks to the fact that he is inside.
It was thanks to Garaki that he found the perfect human, Tenko Shimura.
After recruiting the boy, who had the perfect context to brainwash him into the ideal servant, the next thing he did was get the D-Scan of darkness.
It turns out that the ten legendary warriors have decided to interfere, AncientSphinxmon chose a human to carry his powers, but what he did not expect is that Lucemon would steal the D-Scan and corrupt it to give it to Tenko Shimura, who was now renamed Tomura Shigaraki.
The next step was to capture the spirits of AncientMermaidmon AncientWisemon, AncientVolcanmon and AncientTroiamon, use their influence to brainwash their descendants so that in the future they would get powerful allies, unfortunately he could not capture the spirits of AncientGreymon, AncientGarurumon, AncientBeetlemon, AncientKazemon and AncientMegatheriumon.
When everything was in place it was time to act, sensing two presences, AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon, the legendary warriors have begun to move, although if Lucemon is lucky, they will not suspect that he is still alive, something he will keep that way, for now.
Now there is only one thing left to do, get some soldiers for Shigaraki.
After obtaining the corpse of a human and putting a Digimon in his mind and thus creating Kurogiri, Lucemon opens a portal to the Digital World, a portal that only keeps him in the digital world temporarily, thanks to this he's able to reveal himself to Machinedramon, his most loyal subordinate.
- "Hello Machinedramon."- Lucemon said.
- "You... you may look different, but that presence... Lord Lucemon, it's good to know you're alive." – Machinedramon said.
- "It's been a while, Machinedramon, let me introduce you to my new disciple."- Lucemon said before pointing at Shigaraki. – "His name is Tomura Shigaraki, and he will be in charge of things while I recover. So you better treat him like you're dealing with me."-
- "As you wish, Lord Lucemon."- Machinedramon looks at Shigaraki. – "We are under your orders Lord Tomura."-
- "Not yet... for now I'll just need some troops."- Lucemon said. – "I'll settle for Child level Digimon and ONE champion level Digimon." –
- "As you wish, I have the troops you need, choose the one you want."- Machinedramon said.
- "Very well Tomura, choose the one you want."- Lucemon said.
- "I want that one." - Shigaraki said pointing at Chrysalimon.
- "You're lucky Chrysalimon, you've been chosen, follow Tomura's orders as if they were mine."- Lucemon said.
- "Yes, Lord Lucemon."- Chrysalimon said.
- "Very well, Tomura, take Kurogiri and continue with the plan, I'll stay to update Machinedramon."- Lucemon said while opening a data portal.
- "Yes, Sensei."- Shigaraki said before entering the portal, several Digimon and Chrysalimon following him.
- "So now you have a disciple..."- Machinedramon said.
- "Of course not... he's just another pawn in my plan... and speaking of my plan, let me put you up to date."- Lucemon said.
