Chapter 68.
The battle for Destiny.
Nobody moves... two rivals look at each other, Susanoomon and Lucemon are ready to fight, waiting for the other to make the first move so they can counterattack.
On the one hand, Lucemon Modo Satan, the Super Demon Lord, possessor of the seven crests of the deadly sins, the one who has been pulling strings for a long time to get here.
On the other hand, Susanoomon, the combination of the ten spirits of the descendants of the ten legendary warriors, a warrior of legends and myths among the Digimon, the one who will fight to the end to defeat the threat of Lucemon.
- "Susanoomon... he really exists."- Magnamon said from the distance.
- "He is our only salvation, we couldn't against Lucemon, he is the only one with enough power to face him... but he doesn't have help, he's alone against Lucemon, if he loses... Lucemon wins."- Omegamon said.
Susanoomon closes his eyes for a moment, sighs and opens them again, from one moment to the next he is in front of Lucemon, a punch ready to hit his enemy.
However, Lucemon is not far behind, this time he was able to follow Susanoomon despite the speed, he also prepares his fist.
Both punches collide creating a great gust of wind, the battle has begun.
Despite the difference in size, both continue to attack the other with punches, each punch colliding with the other's punch, all this while both rise into the air, for each punch, the crater below them grows.
- "It's a great display of power... I've never seen anything like this before..."- Dukemon said.
- "And this has only begun... at the moment they only attack each other with physical blows... I can't imagine what we'll see when they start using their powers."- Omegamon said.
- "What's going on here?!"- Endeavor and the rest of those involved in this fight arrive with the royal knights.
- "The battle to decide the fate of our worlds is taking place..."- Omegamon said. – "The warrior who is facing Lucemon is Susanoomon, the chosen ones combined all their powers to form this warrior, he is our last salvation."-
- "And you can't help?"- Endeavor asked.
- "Unfortunately our powers won't be of much help right now, those two have surpassed our powers... the only thing we can do at the moment is watch."- Omegamon said.
After hearing this Endeavor and the others just see... if there's nothing they can do...
Back in the fight, Susanoomon manages to dodge a punch from Lucemon and tries to attack him with a punch, however this is blocked by Lucemon who then starts shooting beams at him from the crests of the deadly sins.
Susanoomon quickly begins to destroy the beams with his punches, however this causes him to back off a bit.
Lucemon watches Susanoomon destroy his attacks and just then a voice sounds in his head. – "Let go…"- Lucemon leaves the orb of darkness in the air, a safe distance from the battle, and charges at Susanoomon.
Once in front of Susanoomon both continue exchanging blows.
The blows continue until Susanoomon takes a step back. – "Summon! Zero Arms: Orochi!"- Suddenly, KGreymon's sword appears in Susanoomon's hand, but it is surrounded by MGarurumon's weapons, thus creating Zero Arms: Orochi, Susanoomon's weapon.
Lucemon sees this and shoots a beam at Susanoomon, Susanoomon jumps and dodges it.
Susanoomon takes Orochi with both of his hands, energy begins to accumulate in the barrel of the weapon. - "Heaven's Thunder!"- Susanoomon pulls the triggers and fires a powerful beam at Lucemon.
The beam hits Lucemon, but he manages to resist and begin to accumulate energy in a sphere of darkness in his mouth, quickly shooting at Susanoomon, who receives the attack and moves back several meters.
Susanoomon quickly recovers in the air and calmly lands on the ground, Lucemon does the same, they both look at each other for a few seconds until Susanoomon charges Lucemon again with a punch which Lucemon dodges by jumping, the punch creates a crater and raises dust.
Lucemon attacks trying to crush Susanoomon with his foot, but Susanoomon kicks which hits Lucemon's foot starting another exchange of blows.
Lucemon attacks with a punch but is dodged by Susanoomon.
Susanoomon attacks with a kick but is blocked by Lucemon.
Lucemon manages to kick Susanoomon but he barely takes any damage and attacks with a punch which hits Lucemon's face, causing him to crash to the ground.
Despite that, Lucemon recovers easily and positions himself on top of Susanoomon and with a strong punch makes him fall to the ground. – "Purgatorial Flame!"- Lucemon expels a large amount of fire at Susanoomon, but Susanoomon uses his energy and creates a barrier which protects him from the fire.
When the attack ends Susanoomon lunges at Lucemon, managing to land a double punch on the demon's stomach, then follows up with a flurry of rapid punches as they rise into the air.
Susanoomon stops his attack and creates an energy ball in his palms, quickly shooting it at Lucemon, creating a gigantic explosion, however, out of the smoke emerges an unharmed Lucemon, who lets out a roar and charges Susanoomon who is slightly surprised to see his opponent apparently unharmed.
This time Susanoomon is the one who receives a powerful punch from Lucemon, who then grabs it with his hands and throws it to the ground. – "Divine Atonement!"- Lucemon shoots beams from the crests of the deadly sins again, this time Susanoomon can't defend himself and starts to dodge the beams.
While dodging the beams, Susanoomon summons his weapon again, taking it by the handle, energy emerges from the barrels, but this time it solidifies and takes the form of a sword. – "Celestial Blade!"- Susanoomon spins around while swinging his sword, thus destroying Lucemon's beams as he advances towards his enemy who prepares to defend himself.
Once close to his enemy, Susanoomon swings his sword again, but Lucemon does the same with his claws, colliding both attacks and creating a gigantic gust of wind and energy.
The impact is so strong that it makes both rivals fall back.
- "This has been exciting... but it's time to end this!"- Lucemon said and begins to receive more energy from the dark orb, which is at a safe distance from the fight.
This surprises Susanoomon, his enemy still hasn't used his full power, suddenly Lucemon appears in front of Susanoomon and gives him a powerful uppercut which lifts his enemy into the skies.
Lucemon lunges up until he is on top of Susanoomon, then proceeds to punch him multiple times until he knocks him down again and he crashes hard to the ground. – "Purgatorial Flame!"- Then he shoots fire from his mouth at Susanoomon, managing to hit his rival who can only receive all the attacks.
Once the fire and smoke disappear Susanoomon can be seen covering himself with his arms folded, however the attack severely damaged him, Susanoomon falls to his knees while breathing heavily.
- "It's over..."- Lucemon said as he received more energy from the dark orb, little by little creating a gigantic sphere of energy in his mouth.
- "He's losing!"- Magnamon said from the distance.
- "Dammit… no!"- Endeavor said. – "Is there really nothing we can do?!"-
- "In fact... yes, there is something."- Omegamon said.
- "Then why didn't you say anything?!"- Mirko asked.
- "I wanted to see how the fight developed, maybe Susanoomon didn't need this and could finish off Lucemon quickly... but apparently not."- Omegamon said. – "To help Susanoomon... we must give him our energy."-
- "Do you mean that you are giving him your energy?"- Endeavor asked.
- "No, I mean we all give our energy to him, even you humans."- Omegamon said.
- "But we don't have any kind of energy."- Endeavor said.
- "I don't mean the type of energy that we Digimon have, you humans have a special type of energy... your emotions." – Omegamon said.
- "I don't understand…" – Endeavor said.
- "Remember when you helped me get into Burst Mode?"- ShineGreymon asked. – "Your feelings work as a power enhancer for us, the stronger your feelings, the more powerful we will become."-
- "Exactly, if we can send that energy to Susanoomon, maybe he will get the power to finish off Lucemon once and for all."- Omegamon said.
- "Okay... and how will we get to do that?"- Endeavor asked.
- "You just need willingly do it."- Omegamon said.
- "I don't understand..."- Endeavor said.
- "You don't have to... just close your eyes and feel it."- Omegamon said as he raised his arm and pointed it at Susanoomon. – "Trust me."-
All Digimon do the same as Omegamon.
- "All right... let's do it, for the sake of our world… and yours, of course."- Endeavor raises his hand and closes his eyes, trying to give his feelings to Susanoomon, it might sound strange but... he really feels like he is transferring something to Susanoomon.
All humans follow Endeavor's lead.
Little by little the energy and feelings begin to unite around everyone present and this energy begins to go towards Susanoomon.
When the energy reaches Susanoomon, his eyes start to glow and his body recovers completely, just in time, Lucemon is about to unleash his attack.
- "With this attack I will not only kill you, but your entire world will also be reduced to ashes!"- Lucemon shoots the gigantic sphere at Susanoomon. – "Genocide Sphere!"-
The sphere hits Susanoomon but suddenly stops, Susanoomon, with his outstretched arm and open palm, parries the attack while an aura of light surrounds him.
- "What?!"- Lucemon said.
The sphere gradually shrinks to the point that it is no bigger than Susanoomon's fist, the sphere floats on top of Susanoomon's palm and with a small touch from Susanoomon, the sphere vanishes.
- "Y-You… What have you done?!"- Lucemon screams with fury.
Susanoomon doesn't say anything, just stares at his enemy.
- "Don't ignore me!"- Lucemon charges Susanoomon with a punch, but Susanoomon simply swings his hand and Lucemon stops short, then receives several hits in a row, however Susanoomon doesn't seem to have moved.
Lucemon loses his balance but quickly recovers and fires several beams at Susanoomon, but Susanoomon just moves his hands, and the beams vanish before even hitting him.
- "Impressive... that's a difference in power!"- Dukemon said.
Omegamon nods. - "We already won."-
- "Bastard!"- Lucemon hits Susanoomon with a punch creating a crater, but to Lucemon's surprise, Susanoomon is now floating on top of him. – "Wha…"- Lucemon does not finish speaking as he receives multiple attacks, without Susanoomon seeming to have moved, which send him flying and crashing into the seashore.
Little by little the aura of light that surrounds Susanoomon begins to be absorbed by his body.
- "Omegamon… you believe that..."- Magnamon asked.
- "Yeah..."- Omegamon said. – "That energy, his shining armor, that feeling... without a doubt Susanoomon has reached the level of a god."-
Susanoomon stares, his armor glowing, at Lucemon who stands up despite the blows.
- "Lucemon… It is now that the real combat begins!"- Susanoomon said.
- "Don't be arrogant, you may have increased your powers... but you won't beat me, I haven't taken any damage yet!"- Lucemon said and he's right, his body doesn't show any signs of damage.
- "Despite everything... his body has no signs of damage... could it be true that I haven't been able to harm him? Or maybe the damage he takes isn't physically reflected and he's lying to try to demoralize me... there's only one way to find out."- Susanoomon thought.
Susanoomon charges at Lucemon at a high speed, the speed is such that Lucemon was barely able to dodge the attack.
Lucemon turns around to face his enemy. – "You only got a power up! Don't think you can defeat me!"- Lucemon tries to hit Susanoomon, but Susanoomon dodges all of his attacks with astonishing ease.
After dodging several blows, Susanoomon decides to attack, both begin to exchange blows.
Lucemon tries to attack with a punch, but Susanoomon blocks it and counters with a punch to the face which connects against Lucemon.
Lucemon recoils several meters from the attack, but quickly recovers and launches a sphere of dark energy at Susanoomon, however, with a wave of his hand, Susanomon destroys the attack.
- "Bastard…"- Lucemon charges at Susanoomon again, resuming the exchange of blows, but little by little Susanoomon gains the upper hand.
Susanoomon lands a knee to Lucemon's stomach, then a punch and finally moves quickly and hits Lucemon in the face with a kick, Lucemon backs off, but doesn't give up. – "Die! Divine Atonement!"- Lucemon fires his beams at Susanoomon again, but he dodges them with extreme ease.
Lucemon shoots more and more beams, but Susanoomon continues to dodge them until he gets close to Lucemon, and then deals at least a hundred consecutive hits in a few seconds, this makes Lucemon crash hard on the ground and raises a lot of dust.
- "Yes! Finally Lucemon is completely outclassed!"- Magnamon said.
- "You're right... but there's something that worries me..."- Omegamon said.
- "Seriously... I don't understand you, for a moment you're sure of victory, but then you come back saying you're worried... what's wrong with you?"- Mirko said. – "Susanoomon is clearly kicking Lucemon's ass."-
- "I know... but I'm watching the fight, analyzing it, Susanoomon may have the advantage... but I have realized something."- Omegamon said. – "Lucemon's body doesn't have any signs of damage."-
- "What?!"- Dukemon said. – "Despite all the attacks received... this can't be..."-
- "See what I mean? Right now… Something very strange is happening."- Omegamon said.
Suddenly the dust is abruptly dispersed, Lucemon is still intact, or at least appears to be, at that moment a purple aura begins to surround Lucemon, who begins to increase his power drastically. – "Very good! Enough games! It's time to fight seriously!"- From the dark orb a large amount of energy is sent to Lucemon who begins to expel all his power. – "Don't think I've been using all my power!"-
- "It can't be! He still has more power!"- Magnamon said.
- "Just what I feared..." – Omegamon said.
The energy expelled by Lucemon was so powerful that even royal knights have trouble standing up, the only one who is not affected by this is Susanoomon who, despite having the advantage, doesn't let his guard down.
- "You said it! The real combat is just about to begin!"- Lucemon finishes releasing all his power, absorbing the purple aura into his body. – "Let's fight as equals! All my power against all your power!"- Lucemon's body begins to glow, the same glow as Susanoomon's body.
- "Do not tell me that..."- Dukemon said.
- "That's right... Lucemon also just achieved the power of a god... Now they are even in power."- Omegamon said.
Lucemon slowly advances towards Susanoomon who just stares at his rival, without lowering his guard for a single moment.
After several seconds, Lucemon charges at Susanoomon, both begin to exchange blows, only unlike before, things are even.
The blows continue until both fists collide, starting a small struggle. – "Whatever happens... I won't lose! Did you hear me?!"- Lucemon shoots fire from his mouth, this time he manages to hit Susanoomon who recoils from the attack.
Taking advantage of this, Lucemon shoots a sphere of dark energy at Susanoomn, but he jumps to avoid the sphere that continues on its journey until it explodes near some buildings.
(AN: Don't worry, the city is evacuated, no civilian was hurt during the recording of this fight.)
Without letting his enemy gain ground, Lucemon fires his beams from his crests at Susanoomon who once again creates a barrier with his energy to protect himself. – "Die! United Divine Atonement!"- The seven crests of sins temporarily unite to create a single one from which a powerful beam is shot at Susanoomon.
Seeing this, Susanoomon again summons Orochi and takes aim against the beam. – "Heaven's Thunder!"- Shooting his own beam against Lucemon's.
Little by little Lucemon's beam takes advantage of Susanoomon's to the point of surpassing Susanoomon's, when this happens Susanoomon's lightning fades as it loses against Lucemon's, leaving Susanoomon at the mercy of Lucemon's attack.
Lucemon's lightning strikes Susanoomon, creating a gigantic explosion, Lucemon remains watching, attentive to what can happen, he still hasn't given his rival for dead, he just underestimated his rivals, until he sees their inert bodies on the ground, he won't give them up for dead.
When the explosion stops leaving a smoke screen, the situation is not calm as Susanoomon quickly comes out of the smoke and attacks Lucemon.
Both exchange some attacks until Lucemon manages to stop Susanoomon's fists with his hands, starting a struggle. – "How can you still have so much strength left?! You are too persistent!"- Lucemon said.
- "Because I never give up!"- Susanoomon said.
- "Stop saying that word!"- Lucemon said, but inadvertently Susanoomon takes advantage of this to break free of Lucemon's grip and knee him in the stomach.
However, Lucemon doesn't back down and manages to kick Susanomon, followed by a punch to the back and, before Susanoomon crashes to the ground, Lucemon fires a dark energy sphere at Lucemon, which drags him to the ground before exploding.
As the smoke clears, Susanoomon can be seen lying on the ground.
- "Do you understand now?"- Lucemon said. – "You can't win!"-
Susanoomon doesn't move.
- "No matter how hard you try! No matter what you do!"- Lucemon said. – "You are not going to win! Give up already!"-
At these words, Susanoomon opens his eyes, the glow returns to his body and slowly stands up.
This surprises Lucemon. – "Impossible... you shouldn't have any more strength!"- Lucemon said. – "Tell me! Why do you get up even though I knock you down over and over again?!"-
Susanoomon stares at Lucemon. – "Humans and Digimon... they all count on me to defeat you, they put their trust in me! I won't fail them!"- Susanoomon said. – "Besides, I told you before... I never give up!"-
- "Those words... those damn words... over and over again!"- Lucemon's fury increases. – "I'm going to shut you up once and for all!"- Lucemon attacks Susanoomon with punches, but Susanoomon blocks each and every one of them.
Lucemon tries to kick, but Susanoomon jumps back and dodges the attack, Lucemon chases him and tries to hit him again, but Susanoomon dodges again.
Susanoomon approaches Lucemon and deals multiple blows to his stomach, sending Lucemon flying, causing him to crash into several buildings in the city.
Lucemon easily recovers from the attack and fires his beams again, but Susanoomon dodges them as he approaches Lucemon, once close he hits him on the head, sinking him to the ground.
Lucemon emerges from the ground and with his energy creates another sphere of darkness and shoots it at Susanoomon, he easily destroys it with one blow and again summons Orochi and points it at Lucemon. – "Heaven's Thunder!"- Shooting once more a beam from his weapon, this beam hits Lucemon dragging him several meters until it explodes.
Susanoomon allows himself to let his guard down for a moment, but then the rubble and smoke is pushed roughly by Lucemon's power. – "Is that all you have?! You haven't hurt me in the slightest!"- Lucemon said.
Susanoomon stares at his opponent. - "Despite all my attacks... I haven't hurt him... I don't know what to do anymore..."- For a moment, Susanoomon's sights shift to the dark orb. – "What's that? It appeared when Lucemon turned into this thing... but it hasn't done much beyond giving him some power for his strongest attacks."-
- "What are you looking at? I'm here!"- Lucemon said.
- "It's worth a try."- Susanoomon points his weapon at the dark orb, this action makes Lucemon uneasy. – "Heaven's Thunder!"- Susanoomon fires at the orb and to his surprise, Lucemon moves at great speed to protect the orb causing the beam to hit him and send him flying and falling into the sea. – "He protected the orb... why?"- Susanoomon looks at the orb and notices it, there is something inside, something... or someone.

Inside Susanoomon.
- "I got it!"- Izuku said.
- "What are you talking about?"- Shinso said.
- "It is the dark orb, the reason why we have not been able to hurt Lucemon."- Izuku said. – "That's because we haven't fought the real Lucemon!"-
- "I think so many blows ruined your brain... how could we not have fought against the real Lucemon?"- Kaminari said.
- "I know it sounds strange... but the orb, whenever Lucemon makes a powerful attack, the orb is the one that gives him the energy to do it or every time he increases his powers it's the orb that gives him the power."- Izuku explained. – "What if the real Lucemon is inside the orb?"-
- "And what would this... dragon?"- Shoto asked.
- "It could be some kind of extra power from Lucemon..."- Izuku said.
- "Oh, I see!"- Melissa said. – "Like Fumikage's Dark Shadow!"-
- "Exactly!"- Izuku said. – "The way that dragon decided to receive the attack to protect the orb... it's possible that the real Lucemon is in there!"-
- "You're a god damn genius, Midoriya!"- Toya said.
- "So... we just have to enter that orb and defeat the real Lucemon?"- Kaminari asked.
- "I don't think it's that easy... if the dragon sees that we're approaching the orb... it won't hesitate to do whatever it takes to get us away from it."- Melissa said.
- "So... let's make him think we're not going for the orb."- Izuku said with a smile and getting control of Susanoomon again.

Susanoomon comes to just in time to see Lucemon emerge from the sea. – "Damn it... had he discovered me?"- Lucemon worries, but his concern fades as Susanoomon completely ignores the orb and charges at him. – "Or maybe not."-
Both charge against the other again colliding punches.
They both exchange blows while moving around the place, what Lucemon doesn't know is that Susanoomon is moving him where he wants.
Susanoomon attacks Lucemon with his sword, but Lucemon dodges and shoots a sphere of darkness at his back, which sends Susanoomon flying.
Susanoomon recovers easily, but still lets the momentum of Lucemon's attack keep pushing him while he grabs his weapon as if he were going to hit something.
Lucemon prepares for Susanoomon's next strike but to his surprise, and shock, Susanoomon turns his body and hits something else, the orb. – "That bastard! He used my attack to push himself against the orb... no!"- Lucemon tries to stop Susanoomon, but it was too late, the blow opened a crack in the robe, Susanoomon used his hands to open the crack and forced his way into the orb.
Lucemon lets out a roar and hits the orb, trying to get Susanoomon out of there, something that doesn't go unnoticed by the royal knights. – "They found it! They found his weak point!"- Magnamon said.
- "We have to give them time!"- Omegamon said as he drew his sword. – "Royal Knights! Let's move!"- The three royal knights charge at Lucemon, who upon seeing the knights attacks them to defend the orb.

Inside the orb.
Susanoomon looks around, everything is weird and wild, in that a voice speaks to him. – "Congratulations... you discovered me."- Turning to the direction of the voice, Susanoomon sees him, he sees Lucemon, the real one, Lucemon Larva.
Lucemon Larva is essentially a large, pale-yellow larva which nonetheless sports twelve golden wings. It has a deadly stinger attached to its tail.
- "Lucemon... this is your true form..."- Susanoomon said.
- "Correct, that being that you were facing is nothing more than my shadow, created to defend me, but I see that you managed to pass over it."- Lucemon said.
- "That explains why we couldn't harm him... we were never really hitting you."- Susanoomon said.
- "Correct again."- In that Lucemon begins to move at a great speed, the speed is such that it seems that Lucemon multiplied and now he is everywhere. – "However, you made a mistake by coming here!"-
Susanoomon feels something hit him on the right shoulder, however he didn't see anything hit him.
- "It's a shame, I was having fun with our fight."-
Susanoomon feels another blow, it's obvious that it's Lucemon hitting him, but it's so fast that he can't tell which one is the real one and when he moves to attack him.
- "Within this orb, Gehenna, I have unlimited power, you can't do anything against me."-
Susanoomon feels another hit. – "Inside this orb... then I just have to get him out of here."- Another hit and then another and another. – "I can't even see it..."- Another one. – "Come on... concentrate..."- Susanoomon closes his eyes, focusing on his other senses without depending on his sight, another hit. – "Focus..."- Another one. – "Focus…"- Another one. – "There!"- Before Lucemon could hit him again, Susanoomon manages to grab him by the stinger. – "I got you…"- With his other hand he points Orochi towards Lucemon.
- "Now wait just a moment…"- Lucemon said.
- "Why don't we take this outside?"- Susanoomon fires at Lucemon, who is pushed by the beam into the orb's wall.
Little by little the orb begins to break until...
CRACK
The orb breaks and everything explodes.

Back in the world.
Lucemon is about to hit Omegamon who shoots him repeatedly, but suddenly Lucemon stops, at which point the orb explodes.
Letting out a mighty roar, the dragon begins to disintegrate until it disappears completely.
- "It's over... we won?"- Magnamon asked.
Omegamon allows himself to relax but looks to where the orb exploded. - "Not yet…"-
From the smoke of the explosion falls Susanoomon who falls to the ground but manages to stay on his knees.
When the smoke clears there is Lucemon Larva. – "Nice try, but you only managed to damage yourself." - Lucemon's stinger begins to glow. – "Now die... Death Stinger!"-
Lucemon charges at Susanoomon, but stops suddenly midway, When looking at what happens, Lucemon sees how an energy sword is piercing his chest.
Susanoomon got ahead of him and used Orochi to finish him off. – "Celestial blade…"- Susanoomon muttered while getting up.
- "Y-You fooled me…"- Lucemon said, little by little his body begins to break down into data. – "Did I..."-
- "Yes."- Susanoomon said. – "You lost."-
Lucemon widens his eyes, his body completely breaking down into data, it's all over. - "I..."- One last memory flashes through Lucemon's mind, Yggdrasil. - "Yggdrasil... What did I do wrong?"- Lucemon's body disappears completely, finally... it's all over.
Susanoomon just watches as Lucemon's data disappears, he lets out a sigh and he leaves too, he starts to glow and when the glow dies... the six chosen ones stand where he was.
Nobody wastes time going and congratulating the chosen ones, both humans and Digimon flatter them, congratulate them and, most importantly, thank them.
In a few seconds the six are surrounded by humans and Digimon, Izuku watches his friends and girlfriend talk to everyone, then exchanges glances with Omegamon, who nods respectfully.
Izuku is about to join his friends, but something catches his attention, there is data still in the distance, he approaches without anyone noticing and sees Lucemon laying on the ground, but it's not the Lucemon he knows, it's Lucemon in his Child form, however, there is something strange about him, little by little he's disappearing too.
- "Human... are you here to finish the job?"- Lucemon said.
- "Maybe."- Izuku said.
- "You can save your energy, my destiny is sealed, there is nothing I can do anymore, I will die soon and this time for real."- Lucemon said.
- "How come you're still here?"- Izuku asked.
- "I am a special Digimon, my Digicore is divided into two parts, my dark part and my light part."- Lucemon said. – "When you pierced me with Orochi, you killed my dark part and my light part fell away, but despite that my light side is infected with my darkness, I no longer have salvation."-
- "It may be... but that you stay here, at least for a short period of time..." - Izuku said. – "That means to me that maybe there's still a little of good inside of you."-
Lucemon lets out a small laugh. - "Don't make me laugh... how is it possible that there is good inside of me? Within your standards, of course."-
- "Despite the horrible deeds you did... you only wanted the best for your world... didn't you?"- Izuku said.
These words make Lucemon open his eyes. – "I just wanted a world of peace... but Yggdrasil didn't do anything..."- Lucemon said.
- "But in the end you achieved the opposite, you made your world suffer more."- Izuku said.
- "I... caused it... my intervention caused it..."- Lucemon opens his eyes at the revelation, now he understands. – "Now I understand... Yggdrasil was right... I shouldn't have intervened..."-
- "I don't think so..."- Izuku said. – "Do you remember what you said about my world?"-
Lucemon looks at Izuku.
- "You were right, my world is not the best... discrimination, segregation, wars, hatred, all of that still exists." – Izuku said. – "We want to create that world that you want, a world where everyone is treated as equal, where peace reigns."-
- "But... if you want the same as me... why am I the bad guy and you the good guys?"- Lucemon asked.
- "Because we, unlike you, will not impose that peace, we will fight so that everyone works to achieve that peace voluntarily, with free will."- Izuku said.
- "Free will…"- Lucemon said. – "But that free will... will never allow everyone to agree."-
- "It will be difficult..."- Izuku said. – "But we will never give up."-
- "Never give up huh… you say that phrase all the time... but I think now I understand."- Lucemon said. – "You know... when I was on the ground against you, before I turned into a demon, it was the first time I didn't run away..."-
Izuku stays quiet.
- "For the first time in my life I decided to get back up... keep fighting to achieve my goal... my evil goal... but it's now that I understand the meaning of what I did... I didn't give up..."- Lucemon said. – "And I think I finally understand you... what I did... I don't regret it... but I can see that no one would ever accept what I did... but you... you are different."-
- "In what way?"- Izuku asked.
- "People follow you... voluntarily, you have the power to make your goals come true... maybe... you can achieve what I couldn't... a world of peace... your world is very lucky to have you."- Lucemon said.
- "Not only my world... as a chosen one it is also my duty to fight for the digital world so that the digital world has that peace as well." – Izuku said. – "It's what a hero does."-
- "A hero…"- Lucemon said.
- "Yes, but I'm not just any hero."- Izuku said. – "I am Agni! The Digital Hero!"-
Lucemon laughs, but his laugh isn't evil, it's a... happy laugh? - "You're crazy... But maybe that's what my world needs..."- Lucemon said. – "Human... no… Izuku Midoriya."- Lucemon's body disappears, only half of his face remains. – "Thank you... for having this talk with me."- And so, after those last words, Lucemon disappears forever.
Izuku watches as Lucemon's data disappears, in which someone comes up behind him. – "Izuku, are you alright?"- It is Melissa who came to his side.
- "Yeah, I'm just… watching the sunrise."- In fact, the fight went on so long that a whole day passed.
Melissa watches the sunrise. - "It's pretty don't you think..."- She said.
Izuku looks at his girlfriend. – "Yes… it is."-
The two continue to watch the sunrise, Melissa hugs her boyfriend.
Little by little they all join them, all seeing the tomorrow of a new day, a new day without threats, seeing the fruits of their efforts.

I really liked the fight, I think it was good, right? (I think I put too many references to Dragon Ball... No I don't think so!)
What did you think of that final scene with Lucemon and Izuku? The truth is that it occurred to me when the chapter was finished, I swear I was about to publish the chapter but then I received a divine sign or something, but I was inspired and added that scene at the end.
So... the next chapter... the end, the epilogue, a chapter to wrap everything up… I'm not ready for that!
