I slammed my open palm into the tree shoving the wind chakra out of my hand creating a small creator in the trunk, it is getting bigger but still weak.

I jumped back, Grandpa only knew a few wind jutsu's. This one was better to coat on a weapon then use mid battle as a small burst of damage. The way they glow just makes me happy as I stared at the chakra coating the shuriken.

Most Shuriken just sticks in the bark. These hit the tree with such force they went right through. Again I am getting better at it. The hole they made was twice the size of the weapon.

I just love seeing that.

Time to try the main one I been working on again and slowly getting it right. The hand signs were many before I held tiger and focused my chakra pulling it around me.

I remember this jutsu, when I fought some guy.

I stood there near one body dead, the ground covered in blood over the grass, tree's cut into pieces as I breathed in trying to get a hold of myself. A missing nin from Suna stood up slowly from the other side of the field.

I am teamless at this moment, they are on the mission but here I am, winning until now.

He was telling me his life story for some reason but it gave me a moment to breath and think to get this done fast. "Then my love died." He spoke making me roll my eye's. "She taught me this."

Wind started to fly up from his feet in a figure eight growing stronger and stronger.

Not this again I sighed but I tried to take in all the hand signs with his fast movements.

I shot a small hole into the ground below my feet with the only wind jutsu I know but not the best at. Using the fact I was bent over I let the small ball fall down the back of my leg into the hole. The wind mostly blocks all attacks to him and can really hurt me if I get too close.

But not underground or from the air.

I ran over every move I could think of, I need to learn more jutsu. This man was destroying me.

Glad this was only a B rank.

He ran at me, long chain like weapon sliding out of his long robed sleeves.

Same move, I held back a smile.

He swung at me trying to get in close, get them wrapped around me to be pulled into the wind. I jumped back and back dodging when his foot landed on my hole. I shoved chakra into my feet flying into the air, I tossed eight Kunai with the boost from above setting off the bomb under his foot.

The kunai smashed into the chains as he tried to block with them from above but the power of my wind cut his metal to pieces, he used his arms to block sliding right through his soft body, the bomb going off at the same time.

I rolled on the ground as both tore him apart.

I fell on my ass and flopped back staring at the sunset.

Fuck.

It worked.

Thankfully, I never would have gotten a second chance.

I tried to cover myself with air, I got it around my body.

It was kicking up dirt and leaves were flying around me.

Been trying for so long to make this work. If strong enough I will turn it into a shield, I also had an idea to speed me up if I get it good around my feet but all I can do is cover myself, it would look dangerous but it wont hurt someone as bad as I hoped. A small cut at the most.

It was so hard to do.

But I was doing it alone.

Remembering most hand signs and then guessed the rest.

Itsuki's mom tried to help me with it, she gave tips for fireball or fireball like jutsu. She is a chunin level no surname named ninja, his father is the Uchiha and the women is now just a house wife. She tried to help but nothing crossed elements, she was becoming like a mother to me and that was all I could hope for.

I stopped at the small shop I loved, my favorite. It only had outdoor seats as I just snacked away thinking about the new Yamanaka kekkei genkai. It is an ability that reminds me of Hyuga. I can send my energy into a body's nervous system. For a second their body will not respond correctly. Giving me an opening to get space again.

I finally got that down, but I have been background for so long. I am not as strong physically or as fast as some, it will help when I am stuck alone but I am still wishing for that jutsu.

The one that makes people impressed, the one that could make me a jonin.

I wonder.

I looked around, can I secretly get into the mind of random people and if I did can I hear their thoughts? I doubt it but should I not try? Across at the next table was this teen girl. I looked her over, dark hair, red eyes. She did not look mean, almost kind of caring.

Chunin vest and eating alone.

I breathed calmly and lightly sent my mind into hers as weak as I could as I watched her face. Her eye's squinted and she stopped eating staring at her food.

Can she feel it?

I pushed lightly trying to find the voice in her head, hear her think, poking about.

She sat up and stared at straight, I heard nothing until a small. "Who."

Damn she can feel it I take it.

"Hi." I spoke back and gave a wave, her eye's locking on mine a little startled. "Sorry just trying something."

"A little rude." She spoke out loud and I left her mind.

"I just wanted to see if I could do something without someone noticing." I spoke sadly.

"Ya, it feels a little similar to Genjutsu."

"Sorry for that." I smiled and sipped my drink feeling a little stupid.

She scanned my hair and seemed to understand, she gave me a kind smile. "Well, worth trying right." I nodded. "But if you could do what you tried I am sure it would be your main clans ability."

"Ya, true." I smiled and sipped more. "Why my clan is in interrogation, they don't need to hide getting in there."

"You alone?" She asked and I nodded, she grabbed her food and slid into the seat across from me, I got weirdly excited.

"So genjutsu, that a thing with you?" I asked the first thought in my head. She nodded. "That is cool, an interesting way to go, was looking for some useful ones myself."

"Oh it is great on people who don't understand, the world is endless. One guy was so sure I faded into the trees and that a large wolf was after him." I was intrested.

"Okay that is cool."

She got sad. "Then there is the ones that know what it is or some where it is even not possible to get under and it weakens me."

"Ya, kind of a background or needing a team kind of thing, same with my ability's."

"Sucks right." She said sadly. "But so fun, I just can't stop learning more, been told to focus on more attacks but I love it."

"Well you made it to chunin, must be an amazing genjutsu user."

"Thanks'." She smiled. "Genjutsu can be so insane I mean this one..."

"Kurenai." I heard a loud voice yell, this green suited teenage boy with the weirdest hair and large eyebrows came running at us quickly.

"You need to help me find Kakashi." He leaned on the table. "I startled him in his bathtub and he just vanished." He said like that was completely normal.

"You, startled him in his bath?" I asked but got ignored.

"I need him to fight me, today!" He looked at her. "Today!"

She sighed. "Why is today so important?"

His face got dark making me worry. "It needs to be today."

"I just saw him." I spoke to this weird guy making them both look at me. "Ya he was up near the Hokage tower just before I got here." I pointed and he ran off with the biggest smile.

"Know Kakashi?" She asked.

"Not really." I lightly picked at my sandwich and popped it in my mouth and looked up at her with the same question.

"Oh we were in the same graduating class along with, Guy." She pointed. "He is having a rough time right now, we are trying but." She said sadly, her soft worried stare at the table made me curious.

"Oh?" I asked sad about to ask about Kakashi. "Wait." She looked at me kindly. "His name is Guy?" Strange name.

"The green beast himself."

"Oh, he is the green beast?" I mumbled looking at the direction he disappeared in, I have heard of him. "He does not look like what I pictured when I heard that name." This large stacked man, dressed in green normal ninja clothes, dark cold eye's. Not even close.

She laughed.

"If you are serious about Genjutsu, I can give you some pointers or simple ones." She spoke, bringing a chance to hang out with her again made me so happy.

"Please." I want to be her friend, I like her.

So kind.

The world slowed for me as I dove out of the treeline down the deep creator catching up to the man we left behind, the new Aburame clan member was pulling his bugs to him quickly but the massive amount of senbon flying from the sky out of large umbrella's blocking the sun and coating the whole area was headed right for him and he has no way to dodge or block them.

I spotted Hyuga to my right locking eye's with him I gave a nod and switched direction.

Using chakra I boosted my feet to get to a spot behind his large shield while staying out of the main drop area of the senbon. I pulled out my kunai and boosted them as the man turned to block me with his umbrella shaped shield to protect him from above and the front.

Hyuga was spinning around Aburame blocking all weapons with his pretty circle of chakra that some of them can do.

Suddenly Reili was falling from the sky as he yelled, a small glint of light coming off his sword. His sword slashing down as my weapons cracked his shield to pieces and then it was just over as Reili hit the ground.

The last missing nin that was fucking with a small town was dead.

The mission was over.

We stood there quietly looking around without a word. No one was hurt badly.

"Way to distract." Reili smirked at me cocky like I did nothing, ignoring the fact I destroyed his protection giving him a wide opening. "Maybe one day you will be as quick as a man."

"That was the last one we chased." I stepped forward to him sliding my hands in my pockets. "Give me a chance to see."

He gave me a cocky smirk as Hyuga rolled his eye's at him and the new teammate for this mission just stood quietly.

I was speeding through the tree's. I came to a cliff and just jumped free falling off of it, looking up Reili was not far behind me. "Your insane." He said as he jumped down, one protruding rock at a time.

I got close to the bottom, held out my hands to slow me down before pushing off the wall, landing on my feet in a squat before running towards the river. I ran across it and back into the tree's, he almost passed by me but I shoved chakra into my feet for a quick boost and got back into the lead.

A second later my feet hit the dirt road and looking down my left was the large gate of khona.

He landed next to me in a pause. "Damn, you won." So surprised.

"You need to clean my home." I smiled at him. "Loser."

"Well we got home fast, leaving behind the rest of the group. Wait I need to clean your home?"

"Yup." I smiled proudly.

"Do I get to wash your undies." He smiled me.

I rolled my eye's and started walking to the village, I wanted to say, I don't wear undies but I did not, kind of weird thing to say. "Man we out ran Hyuga and that random guy."

"Got here so fast. So sad Deki wont be with us anymore." He sounded sad.

"Who?" He looked at me shocked when it clicked. "Oh Hyuga."

"What is wrong with you?" He spoke.

"I call him Hyuga in my head." He understood. "I don't think I ever used his first name." I walked off. "Ya, should we wait for them?" I pointed pausing.

"He is a jonin now, cool right?" I nodded at him as we stood there and I kicked a small rock. "Ya, I think we may get a new person, or shifted off into other groups."

I looked him over. "I don't want to not be on your team." He blushed looking down and rubbing his neck again. "Maybe we will get a girl." I smacked my hands together and jumped. "A girl." I yelled like it already happened.

"No way." He said to me making me stop. "Girls suck, we don't need another."

"You sexist ass." He looked at me standing by his sentence. "I can kick your ass."

"No you can't."

"Ya, how about another bet you dick." I spoke calmly but a little annoyed, it was getting to me.

"Ya she will win." Hyuga jumped onto the road with this quiet guy next to him.

"I already did." I said smiling at him.

"Please." Reili walked off.

"No, me and you, right now."

He looked back cocky. "Fine."

Ya. I won.

Damn he was a baby about that and sulked home.

Hope he learned his lesson.

I woke up and just laid in my bed staring at the ceiling wishing to fall back asleep. I rolled and closed my eye's but nothing. No mission today, no distractions. Sitting up and looking the massive mess of my home just made it worse.

Reili never cleaned it but I don't care.

Today I am fourteen.

I don't know who knows but it was my birthday and I don't want them to know or I will feel lonely when no one cares.

I missed my mother, she always made it interesting when she was alive. Last few years I was always on a mission to forget and now it is just me. I just wanted to feel sorry for myself and sleep the day away.

I talked myself into a shower and a home clean.

A clean home may make me feel better.

Living alone I have clothes all over the floor dust on everything but the most recent books. Dishes piled so high I just bought a new cup when I wanted juice. Mud all over my front floor. Don't even want to see my garbage.

It only took about an hour and after it stood there wondering why I don't clean more as that was fast. The air was already better in here. I set up a few pillows on the one thick bedroom windowsill like a nice place to read.

I almost wanted to buy new stuff for this place as it had grandma furniture.

I wondered around home decor store. I never really bought anything, I don't know my style.

Looking around I should focus on one thing. I passed a tightly packed blanket set, clean and white and found some light blue pillow cases, some soft fluffy pillows and that was good enough as my old was this old brown thing with two flat pillows that could even be older then me.

I then stopped at the book store.

I really felt like a romance, I wanted love in my life today so I searched when I passed by that book Kakashi tossed me.

I made my bed, sat in my window and was actually pulled into the sweet story. I only stopped when I got hungry. I was gonna cook but it was my birthday. I headed into town for the biggest steak dinner I could have.

I sat in the booth with one leg straight across it as I read the book eating slowly.

"Hatake." Was called making me peek over the book, there he was gathering a bag of take out. He then walked passed my table.

"Did not even notice you." I spoke. We may not be friends so I was glad when he did not ignore me but looked at me coldly and stopped walking, his eye scanning the book I held. "Your right it is good." I smiled kindly.

"You need to learn how to read while still seeing the world around you." He shuffled off. "Can really change your life."

I peered out the window watching him walk off with a small smile and got back to my book.

I adjusted the long brown robe of the big breasted women and grabbed the plate walking it from the kitchen of a minor feudal lord. "Thank you Yui." He looked at me in wait and without asking I sipped the soup to show it was not poisoned, then took a cut piece of meat and popped it in my mouth, damn it was good.

I could kill him a thousand ways right now.

I stepped backwards slightly bowing and stood in front of the large closed window in wait like I was told to do. I kept my head low facing the floor but I peeked at the dirty ninja on the opposite side of the large table.

Other then him there was just one women in here, that mans servant for today.

I am here following the rumors that we heard about this man that wanted to start an uprising against the Diamyo.

I was called as they have a few sensors and transformation is not useful here with these people that I was lucky was not in this room. My jutsu was like a tumor in her head then full body feeling, as long as I keep a good distance from them I should not be found out.

This place was guarded to the T.

After a moment the other women and I were waved off and I shuffled towards the kitchen. I pretended to go somewhere else as she walked the other way. I paused, waited and ran back to the door to listen in.

I stood in a thin hallway alone, a door across from me closed to the kitchen.

"You did exactly what I asked." He spoke with a tone that reminded me of a entitled person growing up in riches, a strange whine to it. "Perfectly, the murder to not look like one." I heard a kissing noise. "Art."

"Yes, now I want my money." This mans deep voice was so perfect he could narrate story's or tv shows.

"I will give it to you." There was a shuffling noise.

"Wow, Look at all that." I heard the deep voiced man.

"Here eat before you leave, made it for you."

"It is my favorite." The mans laugh was deep and likeable. Just some form of mercenary ninja.

They chatted a short moment about his plans, I did not get the plans but it was known he had many small ones in the works. It got quiet when I heard a small chocking noise, I rolled my eye's and waited as the Feudal lord laughed, the chocking getting louder.

Really?

Damn I might have almost killed this girl if his was poisoned as well. What servant did that? I looked around making sure no one was spying on me. The cook must have known, where is he?

I heard a loud noise knowing the man fell down.

"Can not have you running your mouth." He spoke to the most likely dead body.

It was quiet as I heard a small knife cutting up his food as he chuckled. I got all the information I could. I walked this women back to where I popped into her so that maybe she thinks she just had a zoned out moment, she probably does not deal much with ninjas.

I woke up to some Anbu bear masked guy. It was creepy as my head sat in his lap making sit up a little creeped out. Shifting away I told them what I heard.

"Then it is true." Bear spoke, again another deep voice.

I looked over at the man in the dark standing on a large branch and leaning on the trunk of the large tree with his arms crossed. He may be masked and looking like another nameless Anbu, if it was not for his hair.

"We need him to continue on so we can get all the information and not miss something, he needs to be alive for a little while longer." Kakashi spoke. "And we can't follow the ninja now."

The bear faced me. "You might be good in the Anbu if you ever want to join when you become a Jonin."

"Ya." This creepy voice came from the dark. "Most Yamanaka go into torture and interrogation, you are one of three we can use." His voice scared me a little, not sure why or who he was. I could not even see his mask from here.

I wonder why they picked me.

"Let's go." Kakashi spoke and vanished, I saw a dark shadow follow him.

The bear looked at me. "Ya Kakashi was right, you are reliable, take care sweetie." He spoke like I was a sister and rubbed my hair pissing me off. "Get home." It was about an hour or so run through the tree's at a normal pace.

Not to far away to be alone.

I never ran through the forests at night alone.

It was cool at first going at my own pace, no one to worry about.

I suddenly felt a little nervous like people are just running beside me ready to attack. I was sure I was alone as I looked behind me and around but this feeling was in my heart.

I slowly started to move sporadically seeing brown vested people coming after me making me run faster and faster to the point I shoved so much chakra into my feet I broke a branch when I jumped off of it.

I could not breath for some reason. I tried to run quieter and move faster, peering back I was alone.

A shadow was next to me, I moved so fast as I spun and kicked out, tossing kunai at the same time at this person. His hands gripped my leg and ducked from my Kunai before reaching for my arm pulling me to him.

I was about to attack again but it was a masked Kakashi, I was shocked as his face was inches from mine and we fell far to the ground landing on our feet, him in a squat before he stood up straight.

He just stood there in that dog mask, I could not read him at all as I tried to breath.

"Sorry. Do you need something?" I rubbed my neck looking up feeling embarrassed at all that panic I had in me. He just stood there before he shook his head no. "Good." I whispered.

"I came to get you home safe." He sounded so emotionless.

"Oh, that is nice." I said looking away.

"You went so fast we are halfway there." He spoke again. it was not the biggest difference as he was always cold or bored anyway but I missed that one eye.

"I am okay." I waved him down. "I can, do this." I nodded trying to not be readable, he did not need to know the panic that just rocked me. He stood there again, unmoving making me squint my eye's at him so unsure what was going on under there.

"I will be there quickly just um, do your mission but thanks'." I said trying to make the air better.

He took a step forward and paused but that was it, he then nodded and jumped away.

That was different as I jumped back into the tree's running fast just wanting to get home.

Well he knows who I am. That is kind of nice, he even chose me over other family members, also nice. I have ran into him only a few times since and during the war.

Quiet and can hide so damn well, I was not wrong someone was running behind me. I just handled it so wrong that I feel ashamed. Breaking branches, moving the way I did, I was easy to track.

He is kind of amazing.

People also think he is amazing, if his name ever comes up it is how skilled he was or about his father and that is a sad story.

I looked behind me and around to see if he was still here.

I sat with Itsuki as we ate in our spot over looking the village.

He looked in my food and stole a piece of meat but I did not mind as I smiled, shifting a little closer to him.

"So my dad and I will not stop fighting over me joining the police." He said sadly making me look at him. "He say's it will give our small family a little more power in the clan."

"Ya?"

"Stuck in the village doing nothing." He ate more. "How boring is that."

"I feel you, I like to do missions." He handed me his Dango making me so happy as it was my favorite. I stuck it out for him to eat the first one and he shoved it into his mouth before I ate the second.

I just sat happy feeling warm and fuzzy.
