Hi guys, this is Calmema! This is my first time to write a fanfic, so there are quite a lot of problems.This story was made up by my friend and me, and since she does not have fanfic account, I sent the story for her (she mostly thought of the plot and I wrote most of the story). Please review and tell me what's wrong and what's great, and I'll improve! Thanks!
This story is about what happened after the Titan War, and I added the character Catherine Jackson who is Percy's twin sister. You guys will see later on that I kind of combined HP and PJ, which is kind of hard with all those plots and etc. Anyway, hope you guys like my story!
Catherine sat cross-legged on the beach of Long Island all by herself. The sun was already setting above the sea, the territory of her father. A few birds, seagulls maybe, flew over their heads, towards the distance. It was completely silent except for the sound of waves lapping against the beach and the distant laughing of the campers. It was hard for her, and perhaps for anybody, to believe that such peace exists right after so much chaos and bloodshed in the war with the Titans. Or to put it in another way, is it possible for this harmony to occur right before another war?
She shook her head. Stop thinking about such things, the peace is all we have now.
"Catherine!" a familiar voice called from behind. She turned and saw two figures, Percy and Annabeth, walking towards her.
"What's the matter?" Catherine asked. She didn't usually like to have much company. Even in quests or war, she prefers to fight individually. According to Chiron, this is her fatal flaw. She was not very willing to cooperate with others, though even now, she couldn't see how that could be a fatal flaw. However, she had known Chiron long enough to trust his decisions and advice. She tried her best "combine forces" with her fellow campers.
"Well, just checking what you're doing," Annabeth said, "We didn't find you in camp, so we suppose you're here."
"Yeah," Catherine answered half-heartedly. She hadn't visited to her father's underwater palace in ages, and she really missed her few times there. She looked at her brother Percy, who was staring longingly at the waves too.
"It is so peaceful now I think it might be a dream," Annabeth muttered, her blond hair glowing in the light of the setting sun, "I really hope our lives can always be like this."
"Yeah, but there'll most likely be an extremely scary quest for us to go on very soon," Percy said with a grin on his face, "And we'll again be in dozens of life and death situations and…"
"Oh, shut up Seaweed Brain!" Annabeth laughed and punched him in the chest, "Just enjoy what we have now."
"As long as you're my buddy, I'm cool," Percy said, putting Annabeth's hand in his.
Catherine had watched Percy and Annabeth grow close during the years and finally becoming a couple. Even if that means that she was sometimes the third wheel, she felt sincerely happy for them.
"Percy! Annabeth! Catherine!" somebody called from the direction of the camp. All three turned and watched Grover running towards them, and then he tripped over his hooves and fell face first into the sand. Yes, hooves. Grover was a satyr who searched for demigods in different schools in disguise of a normal student. Why was he here? Shouldn't he be in some middle school searching for demigods?
"Uh oh, I have a bad feeling about this," Percy said, his grip on Annabeth's hand seemed to tighten.
"Grover, why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be at Junior Academy?" Annabeth asked, instantly alert, "Is something wrong at the school?"
"Nothing is wrong," Grover doubled over panted when he reached the three, "I found a demigod, a twelve-year-old girl, at Junior Academy, and Chiron already sent three demigods to get her."
"Then why were you looking for us?" Annabeth continued to ask.
"Chiron," Grover said, "He's looking for you three. He looked quite agitated, so it is most likely something bad. Quick, he's waiting."
Okay, Chapter 1 ends here! Why Chiron calls the three to meet him? We'll see in Chapter 2! I already finished most of it, so it won't be long until you read Chapter 2!
