Heyo guys!! 'sup? This isn't the way to start a fic right? Well, I'm new here n this is my first fan fiction ever, y'all getting me? first thing I ever wrote so pardon my errors n glitches:)

Her alarm went off at 5:00 a.m. sharp. However, she didn't needed an alarm to wake up, not anymore. She was always a morning person. Waking up at 5 in the morning and preparing for the day in advance after some workout was on her schedule since she was in 2nd grade. She dressed herself after a quick shower and came down to the dining room for breakfast. Her mum was serving her father and her twin brother.

"Mornin' sister dearest. Ready to be the regular nerd you are in St. Teresa High?" Zed her brother asked sarcastically.

She rolled her eyes at him and sat down after greeting her parent a good morning with a peck on their cheeks. Her mom, Alicia scolded Zeds for talking that way to Hillary and her father, Harry, snorted at him. However, Zed wasn't fazed even a bit by any of this, he kept munching on his breakfast ignoring them.

After having breakfast Hillary slung her bag over her shoulder and headed out towards her school. Bleadbreakers and Hillary decided to enroll in the same high school as it'd be convenient for their training after school. It was their 1st day of high school and everyone was preparing with much enthusiasm. Zed went to the same school and in the same direction on her bike but didn't even bothered to offer her a ride. Harry went to his work and Alicia bid them goodbye and went inside the house closing the door and heaving a sigh of relief after all the cooking and preparing their lunch boxes with much love.

Now, back to Hillary, she knocked on the door as she reached the dojo. Grandpa Granger opened the door and let her in with a smile. She returned the gesture with so much admiration and respect.

"The boys are getting ready upstairs home girl. Daichi is creating a ruckus again but Kai and Hero woke them up. Getting Daichi ready was the most painful task for them, really", Grandpa poured the details to her with a long sigh.

"Knew it already and that's why I suggested helping him in the first place. But Tyson refused to lemme. And hey grandpa what's with him worrying for me getting tired in the morning, already, as if I never woke him up that early", Hilary said narrowing her eyes and grandpa just chuckled at her words.

"Bad mouthing me first thing in the morning, huh Hils?" came a voice from the stairs. When she turned around her heart skipped a beat. What she saw was Tyson getting down from the stairs rolling his sleeves with Kai, Ray, and Diachi behind him. All of them looked fresh and cool in the morning and wait, was it excitement for the first day of high school she saw in their eyes? or expectation of a compliment hanging there? Well, except for Kai, of course. His face was blank as usual, not giving away any of his emotions.

"Wh-whatcha sayin'? Why would I bad mouth you?" Hillary said stuttering. What made her stutter was seeing Tyson dressed in a white shirt with sleeves folded and a very deep blue coloured dress pants which was the dress code for boys in their new school. His hair was combed yet slightly messy making him more hotter than usual. Wait, he was always this hot especially with his appealing auburn eyes, an ideal colour for male gender sparkling with mischief yet calm. He has become calmer and taller as the years went by with body developing more muscles yet lean. He was the ideal male any woman wanted in her life and same was with the others, even Kenny, but except for Daichi. Well, he was still rash and obnoxious but his body a perfect lean one and his hair a very fiery colour. One thing that changed in him was his attitude towards Hillary. He started listening to her more and only followed what she said 'cause she compelled him to do things he never learnt or knew and he started training with the other team members and acting a bit more professional. It helped him improve his gaming skills and his respect for Hils.

All the hard work and patience Hillary showed while helping him improve paid off with Daichi changing and respecting her and listening to her like the elder sister he never had.

"Out of habit, isn't it grandma" Daichi teased Hillery, smirking. Well ...he didn't changed the rest of any of his habits.

"Mind your own damn business Daichi, don't wanna deal with ya first thing in the morning" Hillary countered huffing. Ray and Tyson smirked while grandpa just laughed it off.

"I'm heading for the school, you guys can come when you're done with your chit-chatting" Kai said walking off.

"Hey Kai, what the hell man, wait for me. How could you move on without me bro, how could you" Tyson joked but Kai being Kai, instead of laughing rolled his eyes and continued his walk. Ray, Daichi and Hillary joined them and they exited the dojo joking and teasing each other. Kai didn't said anything but smiled secretly which Hillary noticed and smirked.

"So? How much will it cost for us to witness your cute smile Kai?" Hillary nudged him, still smirking.

"I'm anything but cute, Hils, at one. And two, quit spying on me. If you're finding it difficult to suppress your feelings for me, just say it and I would refrain myself from humiliating you in public, Hillary dearest" Kai smirked and Hillary sweatdropped.

"Well, get off your high horse Kai I didn't meant anything weird" She defended herself.

"You better not. Will be good for no-one but you", Kai said smirking. Tyson noticed the scene and felt uneasy. He grabbed Hillary's hands and moved her to walk with him teasing her.

"Hey guys, we're here", they raised their heads and saw Kenny waving at them with Max following closely behind him.

"Hey chief, hello Maxie" "Hi guys" "Yo pal", all of them greeted each other and continued their walk to school joking and taking to each other and Kai following then quietly, sometimes commenting on the things in between.

Kai also changed over the years. He was no longer the cold-hearted bastard everyone called him. And again, all the credit goes to our dear Hils and the 3rd world championship also played a vital role in changing his attitude towards his friends. He became taller and a bit more talkative. Sometimes he even joked with Hillary all thanks to her stubbornness that compelled him to open up to her and joke with her. He was really thankul towards her for making him able to open up a little more with his friends.

After all the walking and teasing and giggling they reached their destination. And that was ST. TERESA HIGH SCHOOL that every student dreamt of going but not many got the chance. Bleadbreaker were a sensation and so, they were admitted without much hassle, not to mention, also with Mr. Dickinson's help. The old man was worried for Ray and Kai but they agreed to join the high school easily with Tyson and Hillary requesting to them.

"So guys? y'all ready?" Max asked all of them jumping up and down like a small puppy that suddenly got a new friend.

"Of course buddy. Without a hitch", said Ray moving his hands to his pocket and eyeing his friends, confidence beaming in his tiger like eyes ready to hunt down anyone who came his way.

"Okayyyyy. Sooooo... let's show ST. TERESA HIGH who we really are. Let's show the high who's the boss. You guys in?" Tyson asked extending his hand and they all nodded cheerfully and joined his hand.

"ST. TERESA HIGH, brace yourself 'cause, here we come", all of them shouted and Kai remained calm and Tyson eyed the school briefly before entering with everyone behind and Hillary beside him walking hand in hand. Both looked at each other and smiled.

To be continued ..
