AN: Hello! To answer a question, no. Sofia is not blonde but let us pretend that she looks exactly like Arizona and her hair is still brunette which she got from her mother, Carina. Yes, in this story, Sofia is Arizona and Carina's kid. Also, please re-read Chapter 1 of this fic since I added some dialogues for Arizona in the beginning.
Reviews are appreciated. Let me know if you have questions and I will make sure to answer them on the next update.
PRESENT DAY
Sofia laughed, not believing what she heard from Thalia who was sitting across her. She shakes her head and rolled her eyes at the girl who was looking at Callie and Arizona's picture that she is holding. Thalia stood up and put the picture beside Sofia's face.
"You really look like your mother!" Thalia said which made Sofia swat her hand away from her face. Thalia pouted and glared at Sofia.
"Calliope? You're saying Calliope is my mother's greatest love?" Sofia asked and Thalia nodded proudly. "And who told you that?"
"My aunt."
"And who's your aunt?"
"Callie Torres, your mother's great love!" Sofia just looked at Thalia, she can hear her own heart beating rapidly from all the shit she's been hearing that is coming out of this woman's mouth. She stood up and grabbed the picture Thalia was holding and threw it on the floor.
"Great love.." She said sarcastically as she walked away from their table and went out of the restaurant. She heard Thalia yell at how mean she is but then her phone rang.
"Hello?" She answered her phone as Thalia followed her outside, trying to listen to who Sofia is talking to over the phone.
"Yes, Miss Sofia Robbins? This is Richard Webber from the airlines. I just want to let you know that the aircraft was able to do an emergency landing in Munich, Germany."
"Emergency landing?! Shit.. Do you know which hospital they brought my mom to in Munich?"
"We don't have any updates yet on the possible survivors. But I suggest you wait here in our office for further updates." Richard said as he hung up the phone. Sofia starts walking to her car and tried booking a flight immediately to Germany.
"Is that the airlines?! I'm coming with you!"
"Move."
"I'm coming with you, Sofia! I need to see your mother because she needs to see my aunt." Thalia said as she followed Sofia to her car. Sofia stopped walking as she looked incredulously at Thalia.
"Seriously?"
"She has a heart condition. She's dying. She came back to Italy a few days ago because she wants to die here. And my mission is to give her a happy ending before she's gone." Thalia said as Sofia looked at her with wide eyes as if she grew three heads.
"Again, seriously? Are you fucking crazy? You want her to reunite with her mistress and let my mother haunt me?"
"But she's not her other woman. She's her great love!"
"Callie is not my mother's great love!" Sofia said as she turned around and went inside her car. She punched the steering wheel as she saw that there are no flights that can be booked to Germany. She heard a knock on her window, she lowered it down and groaned as she saw Thalia, showing her her phone that she has already booked 2 tickets to Germany.
"You coming?" Thalia smiled.
Sofia was able to go back to her house and pack some stuff that she can bring. She packed a few clothes and immediately drove to the airline where she and Thalia promised to meet. She was thinking of just getting the ticket from Thalia and then disappearing on her but she thought that there is no way for her to leave Thalia because their seats are beside each other.
They finally boarded the plane and the plane started to take off. Once they were in the air, Sofia put on her headphones. A few minutes later, she felt a tap on her shoulder.
"Can I seat there, please? I feel calm whenever I seat beside the window." Thalia said to which Sofia ignored. Thalia then tapped Sofia again but the teenager ignored her. Thalia huffed and then stood up, and sat on Sofia's lap which made her remove her headphones.
"What the fuck! Get off of me!" Sofia complained while pushing Thalia who is not backing down. Finally, Sofia managed to stand up and sit on Thalia's previous seat to which Thalia smiled.
"Thank you..." Thalia said sarcastically as she looked at Sofia. Sofia opened her phone to start the music again and Thalia caught a glimpse of Sofia's wallpaper which is a picture of her mother, Carina, and herself when she was 10.
"That's Carina, right? Your mother?" Thalia asked which Sofia ignored. She then continued to speak. "Did you know that your mom is the reason why Aunt Callie and Arizona met?"
"Feel your heartbeat." Callie's professor said. Everyone was laughing because every time their professor mimics a heart beat sound, her ass moves left to right. Everyone was not paying attention except for Callie. She has her hands on top of each other, resting on her heart. Feeling it beat under her palm. This might be the last time she'll feel her heart beat so she took the time to feel it. Everyone got quiet as they all feel their heartbeats when suddenly, Callie's phone started beeping.
"Miss Torres, if you can't silence your phone, get out of my classroom." The professor said as she looked at Callie. Callie hurriedly took out her phone from her bag, reading the text message she received from a random number.
I know you don't love me anymore, but please, don't act like you never knew me at all.
Callie read the text quietly, getting irritated as a new text went in making her phone beep loudly. She's trying to put her phone in silent but her phone is not cooperating. Another beeping sound was heard to which her professor glared at her.
"Get out!" The professor shouted as Callie took her things in a hurry and bolted out of the classroom. She started walking, reading each message that was sent to her. Callie bumped to Addison to which the woman smiled.
"You're out early? Wanna grab lunch?" Addison said which made Callie nod.
"I was kicked out of the class. Some guy keeps on texting me. I think he got the number wrong but it seems that this guy and the person he thought he was texting just broke up. Here, listen. 'Babe, I'm really sorry. I still love you.'"
"And who is that from? Maybe that's for you and you're just not telling me that you had a boyfriend?!" Addison teased to which Callie hit her on the arm.
"It's from Phoenix."
"Phoenix?"
"Here, listen again. 'I miss you so much, babe. It's me, Phoenix. Please call me back as soon as possible because blah blah blah blah!'" Callie read the text with irritation as she handed her phone to Addison. Her phone beeped again, signaling another text.
"'I know you love her. But I really want to see you. I'll be waiting at our usual spot.' Aww, poor boy." Addison said as Callie snatched her phone and typed a reply. "What are you doing?" Addison said as they sat down at a table in the cafeteria.
"Making him stop."
