Bucky thought it was a good idea to have Loki and Eva talk to someone outside of the situation and introduced them to his therapist, though not without some warnings. Over the next couple of weeks, they "talked" to Dr. Raynor to deal with the trauma. Both of them had to admit Bucky was right. She was passive-aggressive.

During her latest session, Eva absently shared how SHE liked the blond hair and how it was long with natural waves. Raynor made the suggestion that Eva take back control by trying a new style, one that fit her. That led to Eva going around the compound looking for Wanda.

She found her, unsurprisingly, in the kitchen. She was making lunch for everyone. Eva sat at the kitchen island and looked at the other woman, nerves kicking in.

"Wanda," Eva asked in a small voice, "can I ask you to help me with something?" Giving the blond her full attention, Wanda nodded. "Raynor suggested I change my hair since SHE liked it."

Without needing further explanation, Wanda gave a huge smile and said, "Of course, I'll help."

Eva returned the smile. "Thanks. I just don't know what to do."

"There's so much I can do." Wanda began playing with the blond strands, though she was careful to not trigger Eva. "Do you have an idea?"

Eva shook her head. "Not a clue."

Wanda turned off the stove and leaned against the counter next to the blond. "How far can I go?"

Eva let out a breath. "The works? I mean, whatever makes me feel like me. But, you know, in control."

Wanda gave a happy squeal at the super soldier's progress. "Yay!"

They ran up to Wanda's room. Eva sat at Wanda's vanity as the other woman dug around for some scissors. Finding them, she turned to the blond. Eva gave a nervous smile but didn't move.

Over the next several hours, they dyed Eva's hair an amethyst color. Eva tried to look up at Wanda, but her head had to go back into the sink to finish rinsing the excess dye out. Once dry, Wanda cut the now purple hair to a more manageable length, long but not too long. They tried braids and curls, but none of those spoke to Eva like simple straight hair did. Wanda even painted Eva's nails so that everything was tied together. Once finished, next was Eva's makeup. At the end, Wanda did a small, excited dance.

Eva turned in the vanity chair to look in the mirror. She got up to touch the glass to make sure she was really seeing the image reflected back at her.

"Oh, wow," she finally said, a bright smile adorning her face. "I look amazing!"

"Voila!" Wanda cheered.

"I can't thank you enough." A lone, happy tear escaped that she carefully wiped away.

Eva's cheer was infectious and Wanda was giddy herself. "Happy to help."
