Hello! Dear Readers this chapter is a little spicy. There is mention of abuse and sexual content.
The weather starts to warm up and it is time for the school run. Where students had to run a mile to measure how long it takes them. The males and females ran separately.
The Sohma house is at peace only for a moment. Tohru and Utau speak about recent events in school. Kyo starts to get revved up about a school event.
"What? This sounds like a competition. I challenge you Yuki to a race-off! Finally, I can win against you." Kyo is burning with passion and there is a fire in his eyes.
Yuki coughs quietly and is not in the mood for Kyo's antics "What are babbling about Kyo?" He is not feeling great either. The change in weather always affected Yuki even as a child. His immune system was not strong and he stayed inside most of his childhood.
"Yuki, you don't look so good maybe you should skip the race ?" Utau touches his forehead and it is very warm. She worries and wonders why Kyo had to be so competitive with Yuki.
"He is not weaseling his way out of this! We race to see who is the fastest!" Kyo practically shouts and demands his cousin to race.
Utau gives Kyo a look and her eyes become a dark blue. The darker her eye becomes the more she is enraged. She is about to yell at Kyo but she feels a warm soft hand on her hand. Yuki's touch reassured her that it will be fine.
Shigure comes out with medication. "Here is some medicine. If you are not feeling up to it then you should not risk it. You know what happens when our bodies are weak." He reminds his cousin as Yuki takes the medicine.
"What happened to your body becoming weakened?" Tohru asks because the Sohmas did not share that information with her. She is still learning about them because they were still a very mysterious family.
Utau tells Tohru more details about the curse. "Whenever a Sohma is sick or their body is weak they transform into their animal. We have to be careful when we are sick because there is a risk we change in public. This is why I would not advise Yuki not to go to school tomorrow. " The redhead's tone of voice is worried and she gives Yuki a pleading look at him.
"Oh! Yes, Yuki should stay home. "Tohru agrees and sees the worry on her friend's face. She is concerned as well. Yuki did not look the best and was a little more pale than usual.
"You guys are babying him! He will be fine. He promised! " Kyo says in a determined tone.
"Ok, I have heard enough of this stupid cat. I will run and beat you. I am off to bed. To get some rest. Good night." Yuki states and goes to his room.
Utau follows him to make sure he was ok. He did not notice and almost closed the door in her face "Yuki? Can we talk ?" She asks before he closes the door. Utau goes into Yuki's room and sees that it is a mess. For a young man who is seen to be graceful, his room showed a different story.
"Hmm? I guess." Yuki's voice is quiet and tired. He gets ready for bed and even forgets that Utau was there for a moment. Before he takes off his shirt he blushes. "Um, can you just turn around for a second?"Yuki is flustered but he is not sure from what. His thoughts just lead him to think it was just that he was sick not anything else.
"I am sorry." Utau turns around as Yuki changes and even covers her eyes. She knows that Yuki is a private person. The cousins don't talk and the only noise is the rustle of Yuki's clothes as he changes."Are you done?" The female asked and feels a little warm as well.
Yuki notices that the redhead even covered her eyes. He chuckles as he changes."Yes, I am done. Thank you for being understanding. What did you want to talk about?" He asks as he sits on his bed.
" I wanted to tell you that I am worried about you and see if you needed anything before bed?" Utau gets on the bed and gets closer to the rat. "Can I check your forehead? I want to see if you have a fever. You can trust me." Utau gives him a heartwarming smile. Hatori taught some medical techniques to be able to take care of others.
Yuki sees Utau get closer and he was not sure what to do. He complies and lets her take care of him. Yuki did not have many people that looked after him.
Utau touches Yuki's forehead and it was warmer than the last time. "You are getting warmer. I will get you a cold towel for the night. I could make tea as well." She tries to go off but there is a pull at her wrist.
"Just stay with me for a few minutes." Yuki holds her hand and pulls her down back on the bed. Utau is so warm and comfy. He rests his head on her shoulder and he slowly falls into a slumber. His breathing is soft and his heart rate is calm.
Utau sits still as her cousin sleeps on her. Somehow Yuki falls into her lap and she pets his head. "You poor boy. I will be here for you" The redhead plays with his silky hair and hums a sweet tune.
The rat stirs and he relies that he fell asleep on Utau's lap. He blushes and looks up at her. Yuki sees her luminance blue eyes and gets lost in them. He is in a daze and he feels a little embarrassed. "I am so sorry for imposing on you. Did I sleep for long?"
Utau looks over at Yuki as he wakes. She stays still and waits for his response. "I don't think so. I can still get all those things if you need them?" She asks once again.
"No, I should let you go. Thank you for comforting me for the moment. But if I need something I will let you know" Yuki gets out of her lap and wished Utau could stay with him all night. But he did not want her to get sick or annoyed by Kyo for his wishes. Yuki felt comfortable with the female cat which was so odd. He enjoyed her touch and it was soothing for him.
"Ok, Good night Yuki. Sleep well" Utau kisses his forehead and leaves the rat be for the night. Her thoughts swirl around Yuki. Utau thought about how cute he was when he was sleeping. The redhead shakes off the thoughts and goes to bed in Tohru's room.
Morning comes and Kyo is the first one up. He is ready to beat Yuki for once and show him that he is better than him.
"Good Morning Kyo. Since you were up did you make everyone breakfast?" Utau asks in a groggy tone. She did her hair in the morning because she did not want it in the way. Utau had put her hair into a long braid because a bun would be too heavy for her head. She wants to improve her stamina so the race would be a good way to practice that skill.
"No, you guys can fend for yourself. Is the dumb rat coming? He is taking forever." Kyo did not want Yuki to back down and it was his time to shine for once.
"Maybe he is still sick? Why are you such an ass?" Utau asks as she assembles a breakfast for herself.
"What? Like you would not be the same way with Kagura? You just don't get it." Kyo defends his actions and even says something that was out of context.
"Wow? Really? Yes, I would challenge her. But not in a race. Whatever, Kyo" Utau eats and waits for the rest of the group to be ready for the school day.
Kyo pouts and wonders why Utau was on Yuki's side all of a sudden. He did not know how to ask and he is focused on something else today.
Yuki comes down and takes medication for the day. He eats some soup but he stays quiet in the morning. He did not want to get Kyo started up.
The group goes to school and changes for the run. Utau had a t-shirt and sweats on. She did not want to race against anyone but herself. She told Tohru to leave her be during the race because she would be focused or so she thought.
Utau starts her run and she started slow. She begins to pick up the pace but something stops her on the path. The redhead could see a string and wondered who put it there. She looks around to only see a white patch of hair in the grass. Utau knew who it is and thinks about how to start the conversation.
The white hair young man looked up only to see a ghost or angel. He reaches to pull her on him. There is a gasp from the female cat. "Utau? Is that you?" The young man touches the redhead to make sure he is not dreaming. His hands are rough and he touches her breast. Utau of course responds to the touch with mews. She is not excepting him to be this handsy.
Tohru sees that Utau stopped and possibly helped an old man with white hair. But as she goes to the grass it looked like a different picture. Utau is straddled on top of a young man and his hands on her chest. Tohru's face turns bright red and she is embarrassed.
"You are distracting me from my mission." The white hair young man pushes Utau off and focuses on the path. "Now, children don't do this at home. Kyo is not a normal human." He talks to the audience and pulls the string. Kyo had been winning for a moment and paid the price. He falls hard on his face.
As it happens, Utau did not have enough time to warn Kyo. She is in a daze after being manhandled. "Kyo!" Utau tries to run to him but there is a pull on her hand. The white-haired young man would not let her leave his side yet.
Tohru goes to Kyo and sees that he is upset. She still did not know who the white-haired young man was. She is confused about what is going on here.
"Haru, is that you? What are you doing here?" Yuki asked and sees him hold on to Utau. It is bound to happen that Haru learns about Utau and becomes clingy. " Let's go somewhere else so we are not caught," Yuki says before anything bad happens.
The group does under the bridge. Kyo is mad and wonders why his dumb cousin stopped him. He noticed that Haru is holding onto Utau.
" Yes, I finally got here to duel Kyo! You guys did not come to the New Year. Now I have lots of questions for Utau. " Haru expresses as he holds the redhead close to his side.
" What the hell was that? I could have been killed. Did you say a duel? I am not going to fight you. I am here to beat Yuki. You ruin my plan."
"Haru? How long did it take you to get to the school?" Utau asks because she knows that he gets lost all the time.
"Hmm, about three days." Then Haru's mood switches to where he is getting mad. He is ready to fight Kyo. "But now we duel! If not maybe I should just take your girlfriend and do a little of this and that. She is very cute." Haru gets closer to Tohru and the others stand in front of her.
"What does that even mean? " Kyo asks and thinks about the kid he used to take to the bathroom because he would always get lost. He had to protect Tohru. "Fine let's fight."
Kyo and Haru start to fight and block each other moves for the most part. Kyo is better the Haru but he did not hit him if he did not need to.
Tohru is shocked that the other cousins are not as concerned about the situation."Should we stop them? Who is the other young man? He was able to hold Utau so a Sohma?" She watches the two teenagers and it seems like Kyo was winning.
"Oh yes, that is Hatsuharu and he is one of our cousins. He was very close to before and we call him Haru." Utau explains to Tohru to keep her in the loop.
"No, they will be fine. They are idiots for wanting to fight. Kyo is stronger the Haru anyway." Yuki says and coughs a few times.
"Yeah, they should be fine. I hate Black Haru. It can be so hard to get him back to his normal self." Utau watches the fight. She explains the difference knowing that Tohru would ask. "Haru can change his personality depending on his mood. When he is black Haru it means he is in a bad mood or he is upset. It seems like he was upset at Kyo and Yuki for not coming to the banquet this year." Then Utau notices that Yuki is not doing well."Yuki? How are you feeling? You are not looking so good." She becomes more concerned about his well-being.
"I am .." Yuki slumps and Utau shouts for the teens to stop the fight. The tone of her voice automatically triggered Haru to change his mood and stop his actions.
Haru sees that Yuki is not doing good and stops. "Hey Kyo, let's finish this fight later."
"What? Ugg fine you are so weird" Kyo never understood Haru and Yuki's relationship. He had a feeling that Utau had been the trigger of his mood. He envied their relationship in the past.
Utau holds on to Yuki and feels his forehead. "He is burning up. We should get home soon. What should we do? Get a taxi?" The redhead was thinking of the different possibilities.
"No that to risking and he could change in the taxi." Haru turns to Tohru and grins at her. "I am so lucky that you are cute." Without asking her Haru hugs Tohru and changes into a cow.
Tohru is shocked and noticed the big cow in front of them. "He is the cow!"
Utau sighs and glares at the cow."You could have asked like a normal person." She helped Yuki get on the Haru and it reminds her of the ancient story. However, Haru and Yuki have settled that issue as children. Yuki had asked Haru if he was a dumb cow like in the story. Haru shouted that he was not a dumb cow and Yuki had become his friend after that.
The group walks back home with a cow. Of course, students noticed but did not question it. Yuki did get home without changing into his animal form. In the middle of the crisis, the teenagers had forgotten their bags. Haru called Hatori about Yuki and he would come to check on him. Shigure and Kyo decide to get the bags at the school.
In the background, everyone hears Shirgure singing "High school girls all for me. High school girls"
"Shut up you pervert!" Utau scolds her cousin and shooed him out.
Haru calls his mother and tells her that he was ok and that he was staying the night at Shigure's home. He convinced Tohru to tease Yuki. He wants some alone time with Utau. Haru takes the female cat's hand and leads her to Kyo's room.
The redhead let her cousin lead the way. She knows he wants to talk and it might get intense. The pair were always enthralled with each other. Utau was aware that Haru would never be hers because he belongs to Rin. But she would interact with the couple; they never disliked her company. Utau would switch with who she wanted to spend time with. She held on to Haru's hand and they seemed so big compared to her small rough hands.
"What is the plan?" Utau asks and looks at Haru as he closes and locks the door. She blushes as her thoughts race.
Haru laughs and hugs Utau. " Having some naughty thoughts?" He holds her to make sure she is real and not an illusion. Haru impulses got the best of him. His hot breath on Utau's neck. Next, he licks, nips, and sucks on Utau's neck leaving a few small marks. He hears a whimper and keeps Utau close. Her reactions made everything feel real.
Utau takes in his advances and held him close. She lets out a breathy "Haru!"He felt at home and he was safe. She could feel Haru squeeze her and touch her.
"Where have you been? What happened? I missed you so much. I heard you scream. It was heartbreaking. Akito lied to us. Why?" Haru asks and tries not to cry and cling to the redhead. His thoughts racing and he wants to know everything.
Utau takes him to the bed and they sit next to each other. She holds his hand and takes in a deep breath. Utau's truth was never easy for her to tell people. "You have so many questions. It is never easy telling it. You have to stay calm while I tell you what happened to me." She expresses this to the young man. Utau knew that Haru struggled with his feelings and coping with them. He was an angry child and no one taught him better.
Haru squeezes her hand in agreement and keeps her close.
"I was in an apartment for two years until I felt safe. Hatori took care of me. I had seen something I should not have seen. It involved Akito and he was furious. I was locked up in the cat's room where he abused me. He hit me, cursed me out, and barely fed me" She could hear Haru breathing labored and he was getting mad. Utau holds his face and sees the tears. She wipes the tears and holds him "I am ok now. I am alive. Should I continue?"
Haru nods and lets his cousin finish. The anger was boiling over and he couldn't imagine what happened to Utau. The cow did not expect it to be that bad.
"However the abuse was not enough. Akito thought he could kill me because I was too much of a nuisance. He stabbed me a few times. But I was saved by one of our cousins. Hatori had to stitch me up. I have nightmares about the whole thing. I am so broke. " The redhead starts to cry and holds on to Haru. "I miss you too. I miss Rin so much. But I will tell Rin when I am ready."
Haru held Utau and pet her hair. They were close and supported each other. She understood his relationship with Rin. But they had their moments. " I am so sorry that I could not save you. But I am glad you are alive. Can keep holding you? " He asks in a husky tone.
Utau craves his touch and he is helping calm down. " Yes, you can hold me. I miss this." She nuzzles his neck and hears a soft moan. " I think of I had your shirt, I would feel a lot better."
The pair moved in a different position. Where Haru is laying down and Utau is on top with legs spread. She wiggles her hips and Haru reacts with a low groan.
"Careful, kitty. Fine, I take my shirt off and give it to but you have to take off yours. " He makes the deal and hands on the helm of her shirt. He could feel her heat on him and kept control.
Utau moans from her movement and blushes. Her hips rocked on his hard-on. Their moans filled the room. It was not the first time they fooled around. Rin allowed and would join. Utau is a little self-conscious because of the scars. " Ok… I have scars." She lifts her shirt and reveals herself to Haru. Utau has scars on her stomach where she had stitches. The redhead is a pale blue bra and waits for the response.
Haru exames her and switch position. Utau yelps and covers her face. The young man traces the scars with his finger. The redhead shivers from the touch and stayed still. Haru lowered his head and kissed every scar. "You are still beautiful. I think these got bigger." Haru grabs her breast and Utau moans.
"Haru! She moans and turns red. She can feel her wetness. She is relieved he was not horrified by her scars. Utau was embarrassed about her state and wanted to finish herself. She gives Haru a look of defeat. "Haru?"
He observed the cat's movements and his hand wandering on her body. The young man takes off her bra and plays with her nipples. Utau moans and blushes more. He wants to do so much more but that would lead to other things. There were too many emotions to process at this moment. Haru had lots of experience but he did not want to push any limits. He takes off his shirt and puts it on Utau.
The female cat is in dismay that it would stop there. She would have been too worried if they did something more without Rin. "Thank you for the shirt."
"I think it looks better on you." The young man says in a husky tone and sees her hard nipples in the shirt. He had to control himself and not be too excited. " I am sorry that I have to stop the fun. But I will still stay with you tonight." Haru smiles at Utau and looks at her sparkling blue eyes, pink cheeks, and rosy lips. She was just as beautiful as the last time he saw her.
The pair readjust themselves and Haru is the big spoon. Haru held on to the redhead tight and did not want to let her go this time. Today Utau was only his and safe in his arms. Utua's breaths were even and peaceful during the nap. Her life was changing and soon she will try to change her fate.
