The Flying Fish Riders were now flying over the Night Fury, ready to attack the Dragon Riders from above.
"Let's get them, boys!"
"So it's a bat in the skies they want, then I'm more than happy to oblige," said Hiccup.
Hiccup then took on his hybrid form and suddenly took off, surprising the Flying Fish Riders. None of them had suspected that Hiccup had the ability to fly.
"Nice day for flying, isn't it?" he said to one of the riders before throwing him off the Flying Fish.
Hiccup then continued to chase down the Flying Fish Riders one by one, but that didn't stop them from attacking the Night Fury.
"Try some of these!" they said, throwing bombs down onto the ship.
"Incoming!" Tuffnut yelled.
Ragnar then quickly jumped into action and began kicking the bombs away from the ship.
"Damnit!" the Riders cursed.
"They're going to sink the ship at this rate," said Fishlegs.
"Not if we remain remain on our guard," said Ragnar as he jumped down.
"Draw the sails; they'll be in the way!" Astrid ordered.
"Got it!" said the twins and began pulling the sails up.
"Everyone, die!" the Flying Fish Rider's squad leader ordered.
"Roger!" they acknowledged and quickly dived.
Sadly, one of them struck Hiccup taking him into the water with them, where he was unable to swim.
"Hiccup!" Chopper yelled.
"Try not to drown!" Skull yelled.
The two of them quickly dived in to save Hiccup, forgetting that they couldn't swim.
"Oh, come on!" Eret groaned.
Luckily, both Eret and Astrid dived in after them and rescued them.
"You really need to be more careful," said Astrid shaking her head at Hiccup.
"Sorry about that," Hiccup groaned.
"And you, too, are even worse," said Eret looking at Chopper and Skull. "What the hell did you think was going to happen? You have Devil Fruit powers!"
"I was just trying to help," said Chopper.
"I am sorry to have caused you so much trouble," said Skull.
"In the future, how about when we're in a big dangerous fight, you try not to drown yourself in the ocean, okay," Fishlegs suggested as he checked up on them.
Macro Gang were now closing in on Camie and Pappagu
"Argh, it's the Macro Gang!" Camie and Pappagu yelled.
"Now is our chance," said Macro. "Get her while the Dragon Riders are busy!"
"Yeah!" said his two henchmen.
Both Camie and Pappagu immediately began to panic.
"Camie!" Octron yelled, slamming into his cage once more. "Pappagu!"
The Macro Gang continue to make their way towards them.
"Damnit, let me out!" Octorn roared.
Toothless then immediately jumped in, cutting right through the cage as were the ropes that bound Octron.
"I thought I was going to be in there forever," said Octron and looked at Toothless. "Thanks, I know we got some bad blood between us, but you're a great guy Toothless."
Toothless shrugged. "Thanks for the compliment, but I was just following orders."
The Macro Gang slowly turned around to look at Octorn, who looked at them rather angrily.
"You bunch of cowards!" Octorn growled furiously. "You used me like a punching bag while I was tied up! Do you really think I'm going to let that slide?"
"Ha ha, you one another taste of my Fishman karate fine," said Tocod as he raised his fists. "You don't scare me. Want some? Bring it on!"
"I admit it was fun beating you up while you all tied up and couldn't fight back, but I ain't picky," said Macro. "I'll beat you up any way you like, and if you've got any requests, I'll be welcome to my fist."
"My sword and my goldfish fighting style will rip you to pieces," said Grovel as he raised his sword. "And the sea will run red with blood."
"Octron!" Camie and Pappagu screamed.
The three of them then jumped Octron, but he wasn't worried in the slightest.
"Take this!" he yelled, raising all six fists. "Oct Punch!"
He struck each of the Macro Gang with two fists each and struck them so strong he sent them flying.
"We'll let you go this time!" they yelled.
"Octron!" said Camie relieved, as he made his way to her and Pappagu.
"Camie… Pappagu…" he said and immediately hugged the two of them.
"We're so glad you're okay," said Camie.
"I can't believe I got captured by those idiots. I didn't want to put you in danger."
"It's fine; we're all safe now, right?" said Pappagu.
Sadly that was not true, as a Flying Fish Rider was now heading straight towards them.
"Watch out!" Pappagu yelled, noticing the Rider diving down towards them.
"Hey, stupid! Did you forget about us already?" said the Rider raising his harpoon. "You want your body back; you'll have to go through us, but good luck with that because you're in our territory now, pal!"
He was about to skew Octron, but Toothless then jumped in and struck the guy with his blades causing him to crash onto the deck.
"Toothless!" Octron and Camie gasped.
"You shouldn't let your guard down," Toothless advised as he sheathed his sword. "Just stay back and let us handle this. Don't worry; we'll be down here in no time."
"It looks like I owe you again, Toothless," said Octron. "I'm so sorry for what I did to you before."
Toothless frowned at him. "Excuse me?"
"Back when we fought, I hurt you pretty bad with my Six-Sword Style."
"Actually, you never hit me even once."
Octron thought back and remembered that while Toothless was gravely injured during the fight, he hadn't been the one that dealt them.
"Oh, I guess not," he said.
"All right, bro, let's line it up," said Ruffnut as they aimed one of the cannons at the Riders. "Let's see how they like this."
"Fire!" Tuffnut yelled.
They then fired the cannon hitting three Riders that were coming straight at them.
"We got three of them in one shot!" Ruffnut cheered.
"Bulls eye," Tuffnut beamed. "That was totally awesome!"
Duval was the headquarters receiving reports from his men, and they weren't exactly what he had been hoping for.
"Any of you men got the bulls to do a Zero Fight?" he asked.
"A Zero Fight!" they gasped.
"Interesting, but I don't know if I'm up for the broken bones."
"That means you're going to pay the medical bills?"
"How does 1 million Gil sound?"
"I'll do it, Sir!" said one of the Riders.
He was a pretty large muscular man, and he got to his feet and began swinging a massive bludgeon over his head as he flew directly down to the Night Fury.
"Step back, boys," he said to the others. "This is how it's done!"
"Some big guy is coming right at us," said Chopper. "He's got a huge club!"
"Yeah, it looks like he's not steering," Ragnar noted. "Don't tell me the lunatic is trying to crash straight into our ship?"
"Huh?" Chopper asked.
"With that size and speed, he'll end up sinking us," said Ragnar.
"I'll get the fish if you get the Rider," said Hiccup as he transformed into his animal form.
"No problem," Ragnar smiled.
"Get ready!" said the Rider. "If you think you can start me, go ahead and try, but I'm slamming into you either way!"
"Ragnar is right," said Chopper. "He's not turning away!"
"No problem," said Ragnar confidently. "Sure, he's fast, but if he flies into me is gonna get one nasty headache."
Ragnar quickly jumped onto Hiccup's back but immediately flew up straight towards the Rider. Once he was close enough, Ragnar then immediately jumped and got ready to swing a kick. Hiccup then quickly transformed into his hybrid form and braced himself.
Hiccup grabbed the Flying Fish, stopping it right in its tracks, and Ragnar dealt a devastating kick which both destroyed the Rider's club and struck him in the face. Hiccup then used all his strength to slam the fish onto the ship's deck, and both and Ragnar landed on the deck shortly after.
"Never quite seen a fish like this before," said Ragnar.
"Oh wow, it's huge," said Chopper.
Heather then bent down and examined the fish intriguingly. "It sure could have caused a lot of damage."
It was beginning to dawn on the Flying Fish Riders that the Dragon Riders were not the run-of-the-mill pirates they had faced before.
"Damn, these pirates are putting on one hell of a fight. Who would have thought."
"Fishlegs!" Astrid yelled.
Fishlegs quickly ducked just seconds before he would have been run down by a Flying Fish.
"There sure are a lot of those guys," he said as he looked up.
"It's certainly annoying," Snotlout grumbled. "How many of them do you think we have to beat before they just give up."
The Flying Fish Riders continue to fly around the Night Fury.
"These guys are persistent. I'll give them that," said Hiccup.
"How devastating," said Skull looking immensely ashamed.
"What's the matter, Skull?" Hiccup asked.
"To think, on my first battle as a member of this crew, all I did was drown," he moaned. "If I cannot right this wrong, then how can myself a man? I wonder how many I can strike down. I am of meagre talent, but I shall do my best."
He then drew out his sword. "Stand back and observe."
He then quickly somersaulted high into the air and jumped up the mast jumping even higher.
"Wow, what a takeoff," Chopper stared.
Skull then drew out his violin as he faced three Riders there were heading towards them.
"What's with the weird skeleton mask?"
"I'll run him straight through!"
"Lullaby!"
He then suddenly began playing the violin with his sword, unleashing a beautiful melody. Upon hearing this melody, his opponents suddenly fell asleep.
"He's putting them to sleep!" Tuffnut stared.
"That's quite the lullaby," said Ruffnut.
Then suddenly, the two of them fell asleep.
"Looks lit doesn't just work on our enemies," Fishlegs noted.
The Fish Riders then fell from the sky, and Skull fell straight past them. The moment he hit the water, he quickly ran across the surface.
"Music is… power!" he said.
He ran past two of the Riders and quickly struck them with his blade, which woke them up.
"Aww, I fell asleep!"
This manoeuvre caught the Fish Riders completely by surprise.
"What the hell kind of move was that?"
"I don't know, but whatever it was, it was a dirty trick."
"It wasn't a trick at all, sir," said Skull as he sheathed his sword. "It was music!"
"Get back here!" they yelled as they flew past the Night Fury after Skull.
They tried to dive at him, but Skull was just too fast for them and easily avoided them.
"Not bad," said Hiccup. "Looks like I have to step things up."
Hiccup then transformed into his hybrid form and flew into the air. Within seconds he managed to grab hold of another flying fish and looked at its Rider.
"Now I wouldn't dive if I were you," he said, but then discovered that the Rider was fast asleep. "You kidding? He's asleep!?"
Since the Rider was fast asleep and had no control over the Flying Fish, the two of them crashed into one of the big buildings, which was Duval's place.
"That punk! He crashed straight into the head's room!"
Hiccup groaned as he picked himself up. "Not one of my prouder moments."
When he looked up, he saw that he was now face-to-face with Duval, who was unmasked. His eyes widened as he stared at his face as the man placed his helmet back on.
"You saw, didn't you?" he said.
"No way," Hiccup stared.
Duval then grabbed his harpoon gun. "A familiar face, huh?"
Hiccup was just too stunned to speak.
Outside, Toothless was exhausted; he still hadn't yet recovered from the battle on Breakneck Bog, which went unnoticed by Octron and the others.
At the same time, Skull was still running across the water, mowing down the Flying Fish Riders. However, he was getting tired of all this running and quickly made his way towards the village and just got there before he ran out of steam.
"That's it for me," he panted. "I've got muscle cramps, not that I have any muscles in the first place."
"Hey, nice work back there, Skull," Toothless smiled. "You really thinned down those Fish Riders out, huh?"
"Huh-uh, proud to be of service," Skull panted. "Though I think I need a moment of a rest bit." He then suddenly noticed Toothless wincing. "Toothless… it's just as I suspected. Your injuries from Breakneck Bog haven't fully healed."
"Injured or not, there's no way I'm losing to a bunch of fish," Toothless winced. "I'll be fine."
Then suddenly, Fish Rider appeared and flew down the two worn-out pirates.
Fortunately for them, Octron was able to grab six swords and rushed to their aid.
"Do not let your guard down, Toothless!" he yelled, then jumped at the Fish Rider. "Six-Swords Style: Tentacle Sword Overlord!"
He then swung his sword at the Rider, slicing his weapons and his saddle to pieces causing him and his flying fish to fall.
"Was that you pay me back the last time?" Toothless asked.
"Nah, not really," he said honestly. "But you two have got to watch your backs."
"That was super cool, Octron!" Camie cheered.
"Yeah, I told them that you were strong," said Pappagu.
"Really?" said Octron blushing slightly.
Then suddenly, shooting out of the water while his back was turned, another Fish Rider chucked his harpoon straight at him. Fortunately, Skull jumped in and deflected the harpoon with his sword.
"Pardon me," he said.
Toothless then jumped into the air and struck the Rider with his blades.
"Phew, I thought I was going to die," said Octron. "Thanks a lot, you guys."
"Oh, it was my pleasure," said Skull sheathing his sword.
"Who needs to watch his back again?" said Toothless rolling his eyes.
The Fish Riders continued to swarm around the Night Fury; there were just too many to count.
"We can't take them alone! Revert to formation!" the squad leader ordered.
"They seem to be up to something," said Eret.
"Convert, fly high formation!"
"And here they come," said Eret.
"And they look like they mean business," said Snotlout.
"Get ready," said Chopper.
Astrid was standing on top of the mast waving at the Fish Riders. "Over here! Hey, come and get me!"
"She's cute," said a Fish Rider. "Well, that's a damn shame. The Head said to kill them all!"
"I'd like to see you try," said Astrid as she raised her battleaxe and swung it with all her might. "Valkyrie Storm!"
She then unleashed a powerful tornado that struck the Fish Rider before he got close, sending him flying.
Two Fish Riders quickly pulled away in order to avoid a tornado, but they suddenly flew straight towards a fund the club had appeared out of nowhere.
"You guys better watch out for those thunderclouds," Fishlegs advised.
The Fish Riders then suddenly got hit by a massive jolt of lightning, electrocuting them.
"Two Flowers!" said Heather as a Fish Rider tried to attack from behind. "Clutch!"
Arms sprouted from his back like flowers and immediately grabbed his neck and squeezed.
Chopper, who was in his Arm Point Form, then jumped at one of the Fish Riders that flew past the mast.
"Cloven Diamond!" he yelled, striking the flying fish with his hooves.
He struck the flying fish so hard that he knocked it unconscious and sent the Rider flying off of it.
"Convert again, quick!" the squad leader ordered.
"Here they come again!" Eret warned.
One of the Fish Riders then flew down towards Eret, firing his pistol at him.
"Take this!" he yelled.
Eret just stood there as the bullets bounced off of his chest. "You're going to do better than that."
"Whoa, oh crap!" the Rider panicked. "That chump is bullet-proof!"
To make matters worse for the Fish Riders, he was flying towards Eret too quickly so he could pull away from him.
"Strong Right!" Eret yelled, slamming his fist right beneath the flying fish as it flew above him.
Camie and Pappagu just watched the battle, which was still going on.
"They're tough," said Camie looking at Pappagu. "Like superduper tough. Did you see?"
"Oh, yeah," said Pappagu. "These guys are tough, all right. But I thought we'd just rescue Octron and maybe get out of here. Not fight to the last man."
"Hey, Eret!" Snotlout yelled. "We've got to pull the ship ashore. They've got the upper hand in the ocean out here where nothing more than sitting ducks."
"Yeah, but do you think they don't know that?" said Eret looking back at him. "This is their base. If we try to move the ship, they'll just come at us twice as hard."
Hiccup, meanwhile, was inside Duval's house, and he wasn't particularly pleased to see him. He began firing harpoons straight at Hiccup on the back of a giant beast. He wasn't even giving Hiccup a chance to fight back.
Outside, everyone could hear the roar of his beast, and then Hiccup ran out of the building.
"Hiccup?" Toothless blinked
"Better move it! A big one is coming!" Hiccup advised.
"Iron mask guy?" Octron asked.
"Yeah, and he's on a huge bull," said Hiccup.
"Bull?" Toothless stared.
They then heard the sound of something rather big smashing through a building.
"That sounds like Lord Apollo," said the squad leaders as they flew overhead.
"It's the Head!"
"Look at you getting squatted down left and right," said Duval.
"Oh crap," said Snotlout. "What the heck is that?"
As the dust cleared, they saw Duval sitting on a giant bull.
"You're not mosquitoes, men," said Duval. "Your Flying Fish Riders!"
"Did he just crashes his own house?" Fishlegs asked.
"With the Dragon Riders dead, I won't need this place!" he yelled. "Don't hold back!"
"Head, we're sorry," said the squad leaders. He and his men came for a landing. "We'll take them out to sea and take them down for sure."
"Move it!" Duval roared as he turned to Octron and the others. His giant bull then slammed his foot, knocking Octron off his feet. "I don't care about Fishmen or mermaids or starfish. I'll give you five seconds to get the hell out of my way!"
Octron, Camie and Pappagu quickly crawled away out of fear.
Duval then turned his attention back to his men. "I didn't get into the slave trade market because I wanted to. You know that, don't you?"
"Of course, Head!" they said. "Good luck!"
"This is the greatest day of my life," said Duval as he turned to the ship. "The man that I have dreams of killing is right before my eyes. I may have suffered a get here, but it's all been worth it. I've got to admit miracles can happen, after all. I never did a damn thing to that bastard, and he made my life hell. He ruined me!"
"What is the deal? Is he talking to us?" Snotlout asked.
"I've got nothing to lose any more; I'm ending this even if I die. I'm killing you… do you hear me? Gunslinger Ragnar!"
All the Dragon Riders immediately looked at Ragnar, who looked surprised himself.
"I've been waiting for this for a long time," said Duval, glaring at Ragnar through his helmet.
"Me?" Ragnar frowned in confusion. "What in the hell did I do?"
"Ragnar, what gives? What the heck did you do to piss this guy off so bad?" Eret asked.
"Maybe something back on the Baraie?" Astrid suggested. "Come on, try and remember."
"You were going back that far…" Ragnar frowned, thinking back. "I did a lot of things to piss people off; I can't even count them all."
"Well, better let him kill you then," said Tuffnut.
"It was nice knowing you, Ragnar," said Ruffnut.
"Don't play down with me, Gunslinger!" Duval yelled furiously. "It wasn't that long ago, dammit!"
He then held out his pistol and fired a number of harpoons straight at them.
"Look out, those harpoons!" Snotlout yelled.
Although quickly hit the deck as the harpoons flew straight over them.
"If it was something reason, I'm even more confused," said Ragnar.
They then discovered that the harpoons were coated in poison.
"This isn't good, guys," said Fishlegs as he examined the harpoons. "There's something up with these harpoons!"
"My scorpion harpoons are packed with poison," Duval informed them as he reloaded. "If they so much as nick you, you won't last three minutes. I'm going to kill you and your friends!"
He then fired another volley at the Night Fury; Astrid would have been skilled if Ragnar hadn't jumped in and shot them down with his pistols.
"Damnit, who the hell is this guy," said Ragnar. "Will you just tell me who you are?!"
"You reap what you sow, Gunslinger!" Duval roared.
Hiccup and the others were watching everything close by.
"I saw what was under his mask of his," said Hiccup.
"Oh yeah," said Toothless curiously. "Then who is he?"
"You'd be surprised, but you've seen his face," said Hiccup as he dashed out.
"I have?!" Toothless blinked.
Hiccup ran towards Duval, who was so focused on the Night Fury that he didn't see him coming. With one powerful kick, Hiccup was able to remove his helmet, allowing everyone to see his face.
"Aww, that punk!" said Duval's men. "He knocked off Master Duval's mask!"
"Go ahead, look," said Duval as he revealed his face to everyone. "See, this cursed face of mine."
The moment everyone saw his face, they gasped in shock, and it soon all became clear of his hatred for Ragnar.
"What?" Snotlout stared.
"No," Astrid gasped.
Everyone stared in shock, but no one was more surprised than Ragnar himself.
"You're kidding," said Toothless.
"What are the chances," said Heather stunned.
"No wonder he hates Ragnar," said Ruffnut.
"Yeah, I would hate Ragnar with a face like that," Tuffnut nodded.
"Well, I say," said Skull.
"So, starting to make sense," said Eret.
"It most certainly was recent," Fishlegs nodded.
"I've been waiting for this day," said Duval. "I knew I could let you live, so I set out to put an end to this." He then pulled out Ragnar's wanted poster. "But I knew I had my work cut out for me because your wanted poster didn't look nothing like ya. Even if the Navy or some bounty hunter saw you, they would never know they were looking at the guy from the wanted poster, but they found someone else. Someone they hounded day and day out."
"Oh, Head," his men cried.
"And when they found him, you know what they would say?" Duval asked. "'You can't hide from us, Gunslinger Ragnar!' And you know what I would tell them? 'I've never even met the guy before! And not only that, I ate even a pirate!'"
As unbelievable as it was, Duval's face looked exactly like Ragnar's badly drawn wanted poster.
Ragnar just stood there clutching his fist, looking enraged. "Shut your damn mouth!"
