When the second portal opened, it was into a deserted corridor in a room made of carved stone. Blitzo did not want to waste any time, and so he and M&M jumped right in. They proceeded to open the first door they found, and things almost immediately went to shit. What they found on the other side was what looked remarkably like a break room in any office on earth would look like, but with weird looking meat hanging on hooks and chairs that look incredibly uncomfortable. Also in the room were about a dozen demons of a similar size to Unus and Duo. For what felt like a full minute, both sides could only stare at each other in shock, until the demons remembered what their job was and prepared to attack with claws and fangs.

Blitzo took down the first one with a nast hit to where he thought the solar plexus would be, sending the demon writhing on the floor in pain. Soon, three more demons where charging at him, but Millie had his back and hooked the spiked end of her tomahawk into the jaw of the one on the one of the left and pulled with all her strength to send it crashing into the other two, another tried to pounce on her, but Moxxie shot him right between the eyes with his favorite compact pistol. The fight was getting dicey as the remaining demons circled them like a pack of hyenas. So Blitzo gave a silent signal to try a move he always liked in the X-men comics he read growing up. He literally picked up Millie and threw her bodily at the biggest cluster of demons, taking them completely by surprise. Moxxie could not believe they actually used that stupid move, and that it worked. Blitzo had to take a moment to recover since he nearly threw out his back, but he thought it was worth it since a lot of the demons were either on the floor or in disarray.

Blitzo and M&M proceeded to incapacitate the rest of the demons in the weird break room, but all of them knew that the element of surprise was lost, and they had to work even faster if they want to have any chance to save the hostages. They ran down the corridor, Blitzo in the lead, quickly punching out any demon that they came across, all the while Unus and Duo were watching through a scrying pool in the main dungeon. "Why did we not equip our guards with actual weapons?!" Unus said in anger. "The claws and fangs of our ancestors are way cooler than any hunk of iron, and you know it." Duo said defensively. The fighting to get to the dungeon was intense, but despite every wound Blitzo received, or the close calls as he dodged blows that would have killed him instantly, he never forgot who he was trying to save. Finally they kicked down the doors to the main dungeon, and Blitzo saw his worst fears for this situation realized.

There had to have been at least thirty or so demons in the room, all with sharp claws and obviously pissed off. And right in the center was Barbie and Octavia, respectively angry and terrified. A tense standoff ensured, with Duo in particular looking like she was brimming with rage. "You hairless fucking apes have nearly ruined everything!" she screamed. "And now you are going to do absolutely everything we tell you to do, or these two die right here and now!" two demons held their claws under the throats of the hostages, ready to rip them out at a moment's notice. It was a situation that Blitzo could not think of a way out, and he was beginning to resign himself to surrender, when Duo began to act strangely. Her eyes began to twitch, and then roll back into her head. Unus had just begun to notice this when he began to shake and his eyes rolled back as well. Soon the whole demonic horde was similarly affected. P.M.I. and the hostages were all thoroughly creeped out by this, and even more when black ichor began to bleed out of the eyes of the demons and flowed into the center of the room, creating a complex sigil on the floor. From the sigil a new portal appeared, and in the center was Stolas, looking overjoyed that it worked.

"What the fuck are you doing here, Stolas?" Blitzo said once the shock finally wore off. "Saving all of you from the looks of it." He said confidently. "I found out this book is basically an instruction manual for all sorts of magic, and I finally found the one for controlling lesser demons and I-" Stolas dropped everything when he saw Octavia bound and gagged on the other end of the room. "My precious girl!" Stolas bolted to her side and immediately began untying her bonds, and soon she was finally free. For a solid minute all he could do was hold her, until she finally said "I'm so glad to see you too, dad. But could you please let go? This poor woman needs to be freed as well." Blitzo had beaten her to it though, and had already freed her, but she was not as happy to see her rescuer as Octavia was. "I suppose I have you to thank for adding more fucked up bullshit to my life?" she said harshly.

Stolas could see his boyfriend's heart break, so he decided to change the subject and deal with their kidnappers. "I think it is high time we dealt with you lot." he said to the demons. With a gesture, the convulsing and bleeding from the eyes stopped, leaving most of the demons dead, except for Unus and Duo, who he walked over to. "Hear me, you spawn of the pit, all I ever wanted was peace for me and my new family, and you had the gall to try and take that from me. I bind you now, so that you never again try to harm another human, and never again step foot on Earth. Disobey and you will suffer for a millennia before death finally claims you." Both of them screamed in pain as a seal of binding was magically burned into their flesh. Stolas gestured to the portal and everyone got the hint, quickly getting out of their feet and leaving. Stolas was the last to leave, casually throwing the book back behind him as the portal closed, wanting nothing more to do with this magical insanity. Unus and Duo slowly got to their feet, looking at the death and destruction that was everywhere. "This has been a complete disaster." Duo said bitterly. "Not necessarily." Unus countered. He snapped his fingers and a small fly-like creature, hidden up to now in a corner of the room, flew into his hand. He led it to the scrying pool, and when it entered the water, a recording of all that had happened played out in the water's reflection. "At least now we have proof that the mortal plain is not only real, but the humans still live. We finally have proof our lords cannot ignore."
