Persephone decided that she liked Hades. Sure he was a bit weird and standoffish, but a part of her was glad that Eros decided to sneak her into Hades car. What got her curious however, was the reason why he decided to do that. She had never even met him or Aphrodite! Hades had told her the reason why, that he had said that Persephone's own beauty put Aphrodite's to shame, but she felt that there was something else going on. Persephone gave the handsome King of the Underworld a glance. Hades wasn't as bad as his brothers liked everyone made him out to be. He allowed her to drive one of his personal cars, even if it did need a little convincing. Her puppy eyes never failed! Well, only Mom seemed to be immune to her terrifying power.

Turning her attention back to the road ahead of her, Persephone formed a sheepish grin on her face. The Underworld was the exact opposite of Mount Olympus. With a large sign that said 'Congratulations you're dead. Welcome to the Underworld.' it didn't seem the most welcoming at first glance, but it had this calm feeling. It felt a bit like home.

"So this is the Underworld, huh?" Persephone accidentally blurted out. Hopefully Hades wouldn't be offended!

"Sure is. What do you think?" Hades' deep voice asked. Persephone decided that she liked his voice.

Glancing outside of her window, Persephone spoke. "I like all of the neon lights. They're like stars except much closer." She gave Hades another glance. "So how come it's night all of the time?"

"Because I don't want that shitty-little-sun-god in my domain." Hades' eyes met her own. "How you ladies tolerate him is beyond me."

"Apollo? I've never met him." Persephone only knew what Artemis said about her brother. At the party she only saw a glimpse of him as he approached that one Egyptian goddess who she wanted to meet when Eros and Aphrodite kidnapped her.

"You will eventually. You should mentally prepare yourself to be annoyed." Hades looked off into the distance with soft eyes. She would definitely take his advice.

They drove in a comforting silence for a little while when Hades spoke up. "The checkpoint is just up this way to the right." Following his directions, a nymph wearing a guards uniform saluted as soon as he caught sight of the King of the Underworld, letting him pass.

Eventually, more and more light began to appear with the familiar skyscrapers of Mount Olympus drawing ever closer. Remembering the directions that Artemis had gave her, Persephone weaved through the streets of Mount Olympus before stopping in front of the home that she shared with her roommate.

"This is me." Persephone gave Hades a small smile as shs drummed her fingers against the steering wheel. For some reason, the expensive fur coat that he had given her felt extra warm and comforting. "Thank you for helping me out…"

"Persephone, I-" Hades started as he closed his eyes.

"Yeah?" Persephone leaned in a bit closer when the moment was interrupted by someone slamming on the hood of Hades' car.

"YOU GET OUT OF THIS PERVERTS CAR RIGHT THIS INSTANCE!" Artemis screamed as she glared at the both of them. She gave Hades distrustful eyes. "You! I'm watching you!"

"Relax Artemis! I'm innocent!" Hades barked back.

"A likely story…" Artemis mumbled just loud enough for the both of them to hear. With a sigh, Persephone mouthed a sorry to Hades and opened the car door. Artemis immediately grabbed her wrist and started dragging her to the front door, her now long hair being dragged behind her.

"Hey Kore!" Hades shouted which caused Persephone and Artemis to turn around. He formed a grin on his face with playful eyes. "Made you look!"

"Darn that card." Persephone mumbled under her breath, embarrassment written all over her pink face.

"Hey!" Persephone shouted as she weaseled her way out of Artemis' grip, causing Hades' eyes to widen. "20%." She gave him another smile. "Goodbye!"

Hades gave her a smile as well. "Goodbye!"

With that, Artemis dragged Persephone inside the house. "Bye Pervert!" And she slammed the door behind them.

Shit, she was going to die now.

"I was so worried about you!" Artemis threw her arms around Persephone. Huh, she must have felt guilty about what happened at the party. "I'm so so so sorry." Artemis held her even closer before letting her go. "Are you ok?" Artemis held up some of Persephone's long hair.

Persephone responded with a nod and a smile.

"Did anything happen with Hades?" Artemis asked slowly causing Persephone's cheeks to become several shades darker.

"N-No."

"So he didn't touch you?" Artemis placed her hands on Persephone's cheeks. Uhhhh, Persephone counted at least seven times where they made contact. Hiding her blush behind the fur coat, Persephone shook her head.

"Nope."

"Phew! Those Kings will screw anything with a heartbeat, and I wouldn't doubt they would be into dead stuff too!" Artemis gave a sigh of relief. "You're lucky." Artemis placed her hand on Persephone shoulder, feeling the fur coat. "Wait a minute, where on earth did you get this?"

"I was cold and Hades kinda had this laying around so…" Persephone said with a blush on her face.

Her tall friend gave her a blank stare. "So you're telling me that the King of the Underworld just gave you a fur coat?"

"He told me that he didn't need it. Should I give it back?" A part of Persephone didn't want to return her gift.

Artemis let out a loud sigh and shook her head. "Let's not tell your Mom about this, ok?" Yay!

"Hey, can you give me a hand with this?" Persephone grabbed a long lock of her hair. "It feels so heavy…"

Artemis nodded her head. "Sure! That's what friends do."

If only she knew what Persephone had done.

After Artemis was done cutting her hair, Persephone went to take a shower while her friend decided to clean up the mess her hair had made. Flowers coating the floor could get annoying sometimes. Laying on the couch next to Artemis, Persephone took a sip of the tea she had made.

"So how was the party?" Persephone asked as she placed the teacup on the saucer.

"It was fun I guess." Artemis shrugged. "After we got seperated I ended up with the Egyptian's somehow. Anubis and Thoth were pretty chill despite the whole god of the dead thing they got going on." Thoth was cute, but he wasn't Persephone type.

"Cool. What about the goddess?"

Artemis paused in the middle of drinking her tea. "She's a lightweight apparently. Anubis had gotten her drunk before I even showed up so she spent the entire time making puns." Artemis smiled. "It was cute." She shook her head. "Anyways, I've been thinking, and I know your Mother said that you weren't allowed to have a phone, but if you had one then you could message me if you need help."

She pulled something out of her pocket and held it out to Persephone. "I thought you could have my old one. I know it's an older model with a cracked screen-"

"You're giving this to me?" Persephone grabbed the phone gently.

"Yeah. Sorry, I know it's not the best-"

Persephone immediately pulled her friend into a tight embrace. "It's perfect. Thank you!" Letting go of Artemis, Persephone turned her attention back to her phone. "How do I use this?"

Looking over her shoulder, Artemis pointed at her new-used phone. "Turn it on here and pick a pin number."

"Ok."

"Now put your email address there. Wait, do you even have one?" A valid question given Mom's tendencies.

"I needed one to enroll at the University so Mom let me make one." Persephone shrugged her off. "Wait! Show me how to take a photo! I want to take one of us!"

Artemis smiled and showed her the app. Not even a few seconds later, Persephone had taken her first selfie with her friend!

Suddenly, their doorbell rang.

"Hm, I wasn't expecting anyone today. Who could it be?" Artemis stood up to go answer the door.

"Probably that Egyptian goddess." Persephone snickered under her breath as she followed her roommate.

Opening the door, they were greeted to the sight of a pink god with large wings holding a box in his hands.

"YOU!"

A/N

This was supposed to be out yesterday but I got food poisoning Sunday night. To keep the chapter on track I had to basically adapt chapter 10 and 11 of LO into this chapter with some changes.

Let's just say, I'm never eating the cheese and crackers that come with those snack platters ever again. I literally only ate like 3 pieces and I was dying. Never again.

Anyways, I'll be playing Rome 2 Total War so if I take too long with the next chapter, someone come and get me. By too long, I mean 3-4 days.
