Liu Kang x Mileena: Dragon Fangs
Chapter 2
The two kombatants stared each other down as the fire roared between them. It was tense, not murderous, but it was clear something was in the air. They continued to stare for a solid minute until both of them smiled and let out a small laugh. Mileena walked closer staying on her side of the fire as she lay on the ground, seeming to purposely put herself in a seductive pose as she did. Liu took a moment to determine whether it was instinctual or intentional but gathered himself.
"So it was you back in the courtyard. Nice to see purple is still your favorite color." Liu says with a smirk
"And nice to see you kept that dumb headband. Surprised it still fits your head." Mileena says snickering as Liu smiles
"I am so happy to see you Mileena," Liu says he was looking to go up to her only for Mileena to raise a hand stopping him
"You know where we are?" Mileena says calmly
"…. Yes….. are you a kombatant?" Liu asks sitting back down
"Not officially, no. I'm just some extra muscle for that old sorcerer Shang Tsung." Mileena says
"So….. we both are here…. In Mortal Kombat…..Just like we said we would when we were little." Liu says
"Yes, it seems so. Though you certainly aren't a child anymore. What happened to the scrawny little brat I liked to beat up?" Mileena says smirking under her mask
"He grew up, just like you. You have certainly…. Matured." Liu says examining Mileena noticing his eyes wander up her body
"Do you like what you see Liu?" Mileena purrs playfully as she gropes her own breast for Liu Kang to see
"And there's the Mileena I know. Going out of her way to make me uncomfortable." Liu says with a Chuckle
"Uncomfortable is definitely not what your feeling now, Monk," Mileena says with a laugh
Liu grunts, but cannot deny the truth. He couldn't help but look at her and how she had grown. She had defined muscles from years of training, ready for combat at any moment. And of course, her gentle curves and ample cleavage were exposed for everyone to see. Two breasts pressed together in tight spandex, perfectly rounded and supple. And as Liu looked one thought went through his mind.
"Is that a uniform or a choice?" Liu asks pointing to her outfit
"A choice, and one I am happy with you son of bitch!" Mileena says annoyed and Liu raises his hands apologetically
"You're still wearing Eye shadow, just like you started when we were little. The same color as well matches your yellow eyes." Liu says smirking
"Stop treating this like a nice little meetup, people are literally killing each other around us," Mileena says
"Doesn't mean I'm not happy to see you. Are you happy to see me?" Liu asks
"Heh, still the same Liu Kang. That innocent little monk is too soft-hearted for this killing game. You haven't changed in all these years." Mileena says
"I wouldn't say that, I've changed a bit. Just like you." Liu says
"Oh have you 'matured' as well?" Mileena teases making Liu Blush in embarrassment and there is another moment of silence between the two
"Mileena, what happened the last time we met? I haven't seen you since then, I waited a few weeks but nothing. And it's not like I could contact you." Liu asks getting a look from Mileena
"It was the next step of my life, my training intensified and I needed to focus. Didn't have time to play with you." Mileena says
"So you just cut me off? Not even a note or a final goodbye?" Liu asks
"Oh come on Liu, you knew that wasn't gonna last forever? We were kids playing around when we knew conflict was inevitable. It's time to put such childish memories away." Mileena explains
"Even when they were good, we had a lot of fun together. I remember every training session we had, every game we played. I cherished those memories, did you?" Liu says as he reaches into his back pocket pulling out a small purple mask
"Y-You…. Kept that?" Mileena asks recognizing it
"Was the only thing I had to remember you by, that and a few bruises. I thought maybe on this day at this tournament, I would see you again. Looks like Luck was on my side." Liu says
"Why would you keep that dirty? What, were you gonna give it back to me?" Mileena asks
"It Kinda became a second good luck charm aside from my headband. I kept it because you were my friend… and I like you." Liu says smiling
"….. you shouldn't be here Liu Kang," Mileena says with cold eyes but her mask hides a small blush
"Maybe not, but I need to be here for the sake of my realm," Liu says proudly getting a blank stare from Mileena
"Okay, that's it," Mileena says getting to her feet
Mileena stands up, reaching into the open part of her outfit and pulling out a scroll. She immediately unfurls it, she begins to read and chant from the scroll the ancient text starting to glow on the parchment. Sparks fly from the scroll as a vortex forms before Mileena, it looking like the eye of a storm.
"Alright, get in," Mileena commands gesturing from Liu Kang to the portal
"Mileena what is that?" Liu says getting up
"It's portal, if I got this right it will send you to Earthrealm. Some landmass called Ne-va-ada. I'm sure you can find your way home from there." Mileena says
"Mileena…" Liu asks
"Stay there for five days, gather your valuables, and go to the spot we used to meet since you seem to remember it so well." Mileena goes on
"Mileena….!" Liu says a little louder
"I'll pick you up and bring you to outworld before the invasion. You can hide out in one of the outliner villages, I know some folk who can take you in while you acclimate to the realm…." Mileena continues
"MILEENA! What is this?" Liu yells finally getting her attention
"Have you not been paying attention? I'm getting you out of here." Mileena explains
"Mileena I just can't leave, I'm needed here," Liu says
"Okay, listen, Liu, I know you have this whole noble monk thing and it was cute when we were little playing in the forest. But this is REALITY, this is MORTAL KOMBAT! You are going to die here, all the other Earthrealmers will die, and then Outworld will take over EVERYTHING. If you want to live you have to do as I say!" Mileena yells
"Mileena I just can't run and hide while everyone else is fighting for our freedom. My fellow Shaolin, Kung Lao, and Lord Raiden…." Liu says
"Ugh Lord Raiden, that old fool of a Thunder god already failed your realm 9 times. I bet he's the one who started this 'CHOSEN ONE' crap, did he fill your head with this! You're not special Liu Kang, no one is. You're just a soldier in a war Raiden knows he's going to lose. Now quit trying my patience and get in the damn portal!" Mileena yells
"Mileena, I can't abandon my realm. You're asking me to do something I cannot do." Liu says
"OH COME ON! It's easy, the first step is going through the portal, second SAVE YOUR OWN SKIN!
"Mileena… I thought you knew me. I can't leave." Liu says stoically
Liu starts to walk away, going near a tree only for a Sai to embed itself in that tree with a THUNK. Liu immediately turns around to see Mileena leaping at him, the other sai at the ready. Once she was close enough she wrapped her legs around his waist and pinned him against the tree grabbing the sai she threw while stabbing the other near his head. The two locked eyes in an intense staredown.
"Listen-to me-Liu! You won't survive, I'm not talking about the invasion, I'm talking about this tournament. You don't have the fight in you, you don't have the instinct!" Mileena yell in his face
"I'm not the boy I was Mileena, things have changed!" Liu defends
"NO, YOU HAVEN'T! You're still that big-eyed, optimistic, idiotically hopeful boy, you don't belong here! NOW STOP BEING DIFFICULT!" Mileena yells as she tries grabbing onto Liu Kang
"GET OFF!" Liu yells as he manages to throw Mileena off into the air, the ninja girl flipping in the air and landing on her feet
The two stand across from each other breathing hard as the tension in the air. Just then Mileena threw her head back and let out a maniacal laugh. Liu's body tensed and his eyes narrowed as Mileena had her laugh.
"Ah hahahaha. You really are the same, just as dumb as before. I guess that means I'll have to handle this like I did back then." Mileena says taking a breath
"Mileena." Liu says warily
"I'll just beat you unconscious and drag you through the portal. I'll get you out of her and crush these fantasies of winning the tournament. It's the simple and better answer for you." Mileena says with a malicious look in her eye
"Mileena, I don't want to fight you." Liu says seriously
"HA! If you can't fight me, then how are you gonna win the tournament CHOSEN ONE? Aren't you gonna be the hero of EARTHREALM?" Mileena says mockingly as her body tenses and she stretches her fingers
"Mileena no!" Liu says
"Come on shaolin, FIGHT!" Mileena yells as she takes her battle stance
Mileena immediately rushes at Liu Kang with her battle shriek as Liu takes his stance. Mileena's hand shoots out like a knife, Liu dodges it only to get a punch to his side. Liu grunts but recovers, blocking another strike and countering with his own knocking Mileena's head to the side. Mileena grunts but doesn't falter, grabbing Liu by the head and bringing it down while shooting her knee up, cracking him in the chin. As Liu's head flies up Mileena lets out a yell as she delivers a quick jump kick to his gut, followed by a roundhouse to the face, and then a leg Sweep. Liu fell to his back with a grunt as Mileena brought her foot down onto his chest, a small crack being heard.
"This brings back memories, eh Liu kang?" Mileena asks tauntingly
"A few, wish it was under better conditions," Liu grunts grabbing her leg
The Shaolin pushes her off and gets to his feet. Mileena stays on hers and snickers under her mask gesturing to Liu to strike her. Liu huffs before letting out his battle yell and engaging Mileena. Mileena puts up no defense as she dodges a series of punches from Liu Kang with ease. She blocks a knee strike from him followed by an elbow. Liu then swings an uppercut which Mileena dodges by spinning past Liu, playfully tracing her nail across his neck while snickering in his ear. Liu fires an elbow behind him which Mileena dodges, followed by a roundhouse kick Mileena dips under. Liu then lets out a yell as he throws a quick standing kick which caught Mileena a bit off guard. The purple ninja leaned back the kick an inch from her face nearly hitting her, she could feel the air pressure from it. Mileena sweated a bit but grabbed hold of Liu's ankle and with a roar swung him around and into a tree.
"Heh you've gotten a little faster since you were a brat, but that's not enough. You haven't beat me once when we were kids and you won't be me now. Now are you gonna be a good reasonable lil monk and listen-." Mileena says with a chuckle
Just then Mileena felt something slide into her mouth, it was bitter and tasted of iron. She quickly realized it was her own blood, a steady stream coming from her nose, a faint red spot on her mask. A shocked Mileena covers her nose as Liu gets to his feet with a huff.
"WHAT?! HOW?! HE DIDN'T TOUCH ME! WAS IT WITH THE AIRFORCE FROM THE KICK?! HOW THE HELL?!" Mileena thinks as she tries to stop the bleeding
"I've grown Mileena, in more ways than you can imagine. Stop what you are doing." Liu says
"HA! Cocky little bastard, give me a nose bleed and you think you're hot shit. Better loosen that headband, your little brain is getting crushed if you think you can beat me." Mileena says confidently
"Well then, let's find out shall we," Liu says taking his stance and gesturing Mileena
"Arrogant mother-!" Mileena growls as she pulls out her sais
She lets out a yell as she shoots out her Sai Blasts at Liu only for him to dip under and charge forward. Mileena twirls her sais and swipes at Liu only for him to dodge and counter with a jab to the side. She grunts and swipes again, Liu dodges and hits her across the face. He then sends a quick chop to both Mileena's hands making her drop her sais before getting a kick to the face. Mileena stumbles back shaking off the blow and letting out an aggravated yell, she then vanishes into the ground with a puff of smoke before coming from above with a kick. Liu sees this coming and grabs her foot with both hands before it could hit him. Mileena gasps as her attack was caught and Liu then twists the foot and her whole body, Mileena screamed as she was spun in the air and landed hard on the ground face first.
Mileena pushes herself off the ground letting out another angry grunt as she punched the ground before getting to her feet. The two size each other up taking their stances before Mileena advances. She yells out throwing out a kick to the head which Liu dodges, Mileena then follows up with a sweep kick that Liu jumps over. She goes in with a spin and throws a backhand that Liu steps back to avoid only to get hit by another punch to the face. Mileena keeps up her advantage throwing out a pair of head strikes before hitting him with a quick uppercut to the chin sending him stumbling back. Mileena then runs forward letting out a shriek as she throws out a knee towards Liu's crotch only for him to catch it with both hands before it lands.
"REALLY?!" Liu asks is disbelief
"Oh come on it's a fight to death! There isn't a rule book of do's and dont's." Mileena replies
Liu forces the knee down and grabs Mileena's arm as she tries to hit him. He fires his knee into her abdomen knocking the wind out of her before twisting her arm behind her back and bending her over. Mileena lets out a scream as her arm was twisted trying to fight out of it. With her free hand, a Sai appears in her palm and she is able to reverse the hold and slash at Liu. Liu Kang jumps back with a hiss as he gets a horizontal cut across both his arms.
"Aw, did I give baby a boo-boo?" Mileena snarls as she summons up another sai holding both
Liu looks annoyed as he takes a breath before charging and yelling at Mileena, jumping in the air. He took to the air foot extended and performed the move he did long ago the bicycle kick. Mileena screams as the foot collided with her face, then her chest, shoulder blade, face, collar, and chest all in rapid succession. Mileena remembered the move from their youth but could feel it strike harder and faster than before. The past was mirrored today in Mileena's screams and reactions as she was forced back yelling out "GAH-AH-NO-NO-WHA!". Both of Liu Kang's feet slam into Mileena's face and she flies back with a scream as Liu flips to his feet and Mileena lands on her back.
Mileena yells out in anger as she holds her face and kicks her feet in aggravation before getting to her feet and rushing Liu Kang. She tries stabbing at his head furiously as Liu dodges with minimal movement. Mileena screams as she jumps and throws a kick which he sways past and then goes for another high kick, her heel grazing Liu's face. Liu lets out a yell as he throws a punch to Mileena's face sending her head violently to the side. Mileena recovers with an aggravated yell swinging her sais at Liu's head which he dodges and lands two quick punches to her face. Mileen's eyes become unfocused and she starts to sway letting out another yell as she sloppily swung her sais only for Liu to dodge and disarm her yet again. Mileena goes for a punch which Liu catches and hooks her arm under his, then proceeds to throw two punches to her exposed face followed by a kick that sends her spinning away.
Her body slumped as she stood letting out a groan as she tried to stabilize. She took a series of deep breaths before letting out a roar at the top of her lungs and ran madly at Liu Kang. Liu takes a stance planting his feet and tensing his muscles as Mileena ran at him. With a "HOOYAAH!" Liu Kang jumps forward, feet extended with a spin, an overhead kick hitting Mileena atop her head, shooting her head down with a THWACK. Mileena could only let out a "GUH?" As her arms slump to the side and Liu completes his flip lands on his feet and rears his fist back. The Shaolin yells out "ATAAA!" As he swings an uppercut to her exposed chin.
KA-KRACK!
The uppercut slammed square on Mileena's chin bringing her head up, the force of it going from her chin to the top of her head. Mileena's world shook as the blow rocked her head, she swore she felt her brain touch the top of her skull. She could feel her skull fracture and her teeth jostle in place as blood forces its way out of her mouth. After a moment of stillness, Mileena was sent flying into the air from the uppercut her mask ripped off her face from the blow as she was sent airborne. For a moment Mileena reached the max height of the uppercut leaving her weightless for a moment her mind (or whatever was left working currently) raced.
What hit me?
Did I win?
Am I dead?
Did I just lose to Liu Kang?
Was he always that cute
WHAM!
Mileena landed head first on the ground before falling onto her back spread eagle on the ground. Mileena's eyes rolled into her head and her body twitched, she let out a low gurgle as blood dripped from her nose and mouth. The world around her darkened as she saw the blurry image of Liu Kang standing over her

Light returned to Mileena's world as she opened her eyes letting out a groan. Light flooded her eyes making her squint only for something to block the light.
"Finally awake?" Liu asks as Mileena's vision clears
Mileena gasps realizing her head was resting on the Shaolin monk's lap. The Ninja lets out a disgusted grunt as she scrambles off getting to her knees. She goes defensive, readying to pull out her sais only to notice her mask was gone. A gasp escapes her maw as a small blush grows on her face as she covers her mouth, only to look up and see Liu Kang holding it out for her.
"I hit you pretty hard back there. Took it off 'cause I didn't want it to fill with blood while you were unconscious." Liu says as Mileena snatches it away
"DON'T EVER TOUCH MY MASK YOU FOOL! MY MASK WAS MADE SO BLOOD CAN FLOW THROUGH IT AND OUT! I SHOULD BITE OUT YOUR THROAT!" Mileena hisses
"No one else saw, you don't have to worry, it's only us here. Not that I didn't appreciate getting to see your face again." Liu says smiling
"Flattery will get you nowhere Monk. Come back after you learn how to pronounce P's without lips." Mileena says putting on her mask
"I always was confused about how you were able to do that, but was too afraid to ask how," Liu says
"You should be afraid." Mileena hisses getting a smile from Liu
"So you are a bit stronger, so what? Don't get a big head monk, just cause you can take me doesn't mean you'll win. All the other Earthrealmers are probably dead leaving you to handle the other fighters. And if by some miracle of the elder gods you survive, you'll have to face Goro. And NO ONE beats Goro!" Mileena says with a dark look
"Things change Mileena, tis the way of the universe," Liu says
"Please don't pull that Monk, peace, and love crap with me. This is serious!" Mileena growls
"And I am taking this seriously. Whether it be me or someone else Goro will fall, Shang Tsung will be defeated, and Earthrealm will be saved." Liu says determined getting a scoff from Mileena
"Whatever, I don't have-." Mileena says getting up a little too fast
Suddenly her legs gave out and she started to fall forward, normally she would've caught herself but her emotions slowed her reaction. Liu rushed forward to catch her only for Mileena to land on top of him. He holds out his hand to catch her falling back with Mileena on top of her the two locking eyes. There was a silent moment between the two Liu noticing Mileena's face turn bright red. He quickly realizes why as he looked and saw his hand grabbing Mileena's breast, Liu's mind goes haywire for a moment not sure what to do, and instinctually squeezes the soft mound.
KRACK!
Mileena instantly punches Liu Kang's face into the ground cracking the surface as she stood up over him looking down in disgust.
"FINE GET YOURSELF KILLED YOU FUCKING MORON! I GUESS I'LL FINALLY GET YOUR DUMBASS HEAD AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!" Mileena yells before taking off into the treeline leaving Liu there
He picks himself up with a groan needing to readjust his nose which Mileena broke. He looks out to the tree line she disappeared into while wiping the blood from his nose. He was embarrassed, confused, and concerned in regard to meeting his old friend again. The confusion and embarrassment increased upon remembering how her breast felt.
"Come Kang, you got a mission to complete and a realm to save. You'll have to deal with Mileena later… hopefully." Liu says to himself

"Son of a bitch, bastard, Idiot!" Mileena curses as she leaps from branch to branch
"Taking my kindness and throwing it in my face, The humiliation! I should go back and kill him for that. And…. TOUCHING-MY-CHEST! I should castrate him for that, who does he think he is?!" Mileena fumed mentally
Through her mind images of the younger Liu Kang flashed followed by him as an adult. All the recent events playing in my head, she could hear the determination in his voice. He believed he could save his realm, there was a hint of doubt but it didn't impede him. And when he spoke to her there was a kindness and gentleness she hasn't seen from anyone in years, aside from her sister occasionally. Mileena's mind then wandered to how Liu Matured physically imagining the toned physique under his clothes.
"DAMMIT! He's got me all annoyed, I need to kill something to calm down." Mileena fumes as she stops over a muddy swamp on the island
She immediately finds her Target trudging through the ankle-deep mud. A woman with short blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a green and white top under a military jacket. She wore blue jeans, black boots, black fingerless gloves, and a green headband on her forehead right under her blonde hair done in a ponytail. She looked focused and cautious as she moved through the swamp looking around for any threat, only for Mileena to land a few feet in front of her.
"Oh great! Who the hell are you supposed to be?" The blonde says defensively
"Please don't speak. I'm in a very bad mood and something needs to die. Sadly human, that's you." Mileena says as she cracks her knuckles and holds out her sais readying to attack
