Chapter 7 Movies and Encryption
It's been a couple of days since Sam and I bonded with each other and it is now Monday. "Hey, Sam do you want to watch some movies later after school?" I greet him when I leave my room and see him leave his room.
"Depends on what movies you want to watch" Sam responds
"If you are asking if the movies will be chick flicks then you don't have to worry about that as I don't want to watch Chick Flicks" I reassure him
"In that case, I do want to watch some movies with you after school," Sam says we made our way downstairs, ate our breakfast, and went to mundane school.
Meanwhile with Dumbledore
Dumbledore is in his office reading some of the books in his personal library searching for more ways of locating someone that doesn't require blood. When he tried a more powerful location spell that required blood it only told Dumbledore where she had been with is the Dursley's old house yet it didn't find her current location.
Dumbledore has put the book down after not finding any strong enough location spells that don't require blood. He became frustrated and angry about the fact he hasn't found Arietta yet why must she make it so difficult for him to achieve the greater good.
Back with Arietta
Sam's friends turned out to be only one and Miles is alright, he can be obnoxious at times which puts me off at times and other times we can get on well with each other. The school was alright, it's just a mundane school after all. When we got home Sam and I did our homework before we can hang out on one of Aunt Judy's rules.
"What do you want to watch first?" I ask
"How about a goofy movie?" Sam responds
"That sounds good," I say and I pick out the movie and I put the movie in and pressed play when Sam and I are sitting on the couch. When the movie finished we watched Batman forever and dragon ball z movie 13: Wrath of the dragon. We only had time to watch those three movies before our teachers for our first magical class of the day arrived.
"Hello Arietta, Sam before we begin our lesson there is something we need to tell you specifically Arietta" Clint greets
"What is it?" I ask
"MACUSA has agreed that you and Tom will infiltrate Hogwarts as first-year students to get hard evidence against Dumbledore" Natasha answers
"Are you alright with that Arietta?" Clint asks
"I'm fine with that" I reply
"Sam, Arietta have you both started learning Occlumency?" Natasha Inquires
"I started learning with Tom Riddle on Saturday 8th July and I've been working with him every Saturday now for a couple of hours" I answer
"Arietta told me about how she was learning Occlumency so I gave it a try but I haven't worked with her on it yet" Sam replies
"Arietta would you prefer to stick with Tom Riddle with learning Occlumency?" Clint asks
"I'd prefer to stick with Tom Riddle" I respond
"Alright Sam I will work with you on Occlumency, Arietta do you mind if I see how far along you are with Occlumency?" Natasha exclaims
I take a deep breath "I don't mind" I voice
"Legilimens," Natasha says I feel her enter my mind and my first trap and only trap at the moment activates and I feel her leave my mind "Wow you must be a natural, you have a good shield already" Natasha comments
"Thanks but I'm nowhere near the level I need to be to keep Dumbledore out of my mind," I say
"Now to start today's lesson which is about encryption and decryption. We are going to spend half of the remaining time on Encryption and the other half of the remaining time on Decryption" Clint speaks half of the remaining time from this point was spent introducing Sam and me to encryption both mundane and magical means of encryption and the benefits of using both means and the cost of using both means to encrypt information. The other half was spent introducing us to mundane and magical means of decryption and how to use them to decrypt information that has been encrypted by both means.
"We are going now but we are going to covering this topic for several of our lessons until you both can do encryption and decryption quite well," Natasha says
"Your homework is to do some research into encryption and decryption in either mundane or magical whichever is easiest for you to research and write down your findings for us to go over in our next lesson," Clint says and Clint and Natasha left the house.
Sam and I chatted while we waited for our next teacher to arrive, we have Potions next with a lady called Lucinda. So far she has managed to make the subject interesting.
Lucinda has arrived and our lesson started. We spend the first half on where ingredients can be found and how they can be used and the other half on how to properly prepare the ingredients. It was an interesting lesson, before she left she told us our homework is to research the ingredients and write about five different ingredients that we find interesting.
Sam and I watched a few more movies together before Aunt Judy called us for dinner. The dinner was lovely as was dessert. I went to my room and I listened to a few records before I decided to get out a piece of paper and I start drawing.
I draw a couple of drawings then I put them away and I pull my journal out and I open it and I start writing in it.
Monday 17th July 1995
In my first lesson today Clint and Natasha told me that MACUSA had decided that Tom's idea of him and I going to infiltrate Hogwarts as first-year students to get hard evidence against Dumbledore is going ahead shocked me but I shook myself out of it to let them know that I am alright with that. They must have tried to get evidence against Dumbledore themselves and failed which must have made them realize that the suggestion was the only way for them to get evidence against Dumbledore.
When the lesson got started it was all about encryption and decryption which was slightly interesting, I'm sure my knowledge from my first life on the subject will help me out with encryption and decryption. The lesson was an introduction to the subjects, I wonder how many lessons that this subject will cover.
I found Potions interesting as the lesson was all about the ingredients that are used in potions, how they can be used, and the proper way to prepare ingredients that are to be used in a potion. It helps that my teacher for this subject knows how to make learning about theory interesting.
The mundane school was alright, I'm doing alright, I'm doing well in my weak spots maths and science but only because I'm not at or near high school level yet and I am not looking forward to when I reach the level, I admit that.
That's enough about mundane and magical school for this journal entry, when we got home we did our homework then we spent the time we needed to wait for the first magical teacher to arrive by watching movies together. We started with a goofy movie, it was very funny to watch it, and we sang along with some of the songs. We followed that movie up with batman forever while I can't say it was a good batman film but I found it enjoyable enough to watch it once but I don't think I will watch it again. After that, we watched dragon ball z movie 13: Wrath of the dragon. I enjoyed watching the movie, it was very interesting, and I would like to watch the film again.
It was enough for me to rekindle my like for anime in my second life and I plan on watching more anime programs. One of them is a dragon ball that is for sure as for others I will just have to find out what anime is currently released. After the lessons finished Sam and I watched a few more movies together before dinner was ready.
After dinner, I went to my room and I got out a couple of pieces of paper and I started drawing, the first page was just squares, triangles, circles, cubes, spheres, cones, and cylinders. I thought that it would be good to start off with the basic shapes that are used to draw other things. On the second piece of paper I drew several small objects that I can see from my desk. I'm thinking of getting a sketchbook so I can continue to draw.
If I can get good enough with drawing perhaps I could one day hide messages in an encrypted code to anyone I want to send the message to and they will be able to decrypt the message. I think I will mention this idea to Tom when I next see him, to get his opinion of this idea and if it has any merit. I am so glad my creative side has followed me into my second life or my idea might not have even worked. I could use my code I created myself in my first life and I teach Tom, Clint and Natasha the code so only they can decipher the code. I created that code for a game I was creating but I didn't get to finish it so I wasn't able to use the code the way I wanted to but at least this way I would be able to use the code.
On second thought I won't have to teach Tom about my code since he does have memories of my first life so he is bound to know about that code so only Clint and Natasha would have to be taught the code to be able to use it for the purposes I am thinking of.
I'm going to get another Journal for me to use to write stories, before I write any stories in it I want to try something by myself I want to see if I can use wandless magic to create a unique version of the privacy charm, I'm thinking of trying to make it if I don't want someone to see the contents of that journal then it will let them know that they are not allowed to read the contents of the journal and to put it back where you got it from or it will dye your hair vibrant yellow from a few seconds if you keep it open for a few seconds or for a day if you have it open for longer. I don't think I am going to mention this to anyone until I have the journal and attempted to do it.
When I have attempted it I will tell Tom about it and I will ask him to test it out to see if it works. If it does work I will share how I did it with Tom and ask him to keep it to himself. I'd forgotten about the code and it's amazing that today's spy lesson about encryption and decryption jogged my memory of the code I created in my first life. I think me drawing on pieces of paper also helped me jog my memory of my first life of when I was creating the code that is just incredible. I am sure that we will be able to be use the code even if it turns out that the drawing idea doesn't work then I am sure that we will be able to use the code for our messages at least.
That is all I am writing for this entry since I don't have anything else to write about.
