December 2005

"Hey, something smells good." Fergal smiled walking into his apartment.
"Didn't you have school today?"
Ellie and Fergal had spend almost everyday for the last month together, except when he was on the road.
He had used the excuse of needing her to come over and water his one plant when he was gone and given her an extra key.

"I had a half-day. So I went shopping and came here. "

"Good." He said, walking up behind her, pulling her into his arms, his lips pressing against her neck.
"I'm glad I grabbed an earlier ride home then."
He had only been gone two days, but he missed touching her.
"It's going to be hard for you to leave tonight. I don't think I will let you go."

"I guess it's a good thing that school is out for break then." She smiled pointing to the overnight bag on the couch she had brought.

"Really?" He smirked.
"Yer finally gonna spend the night?"
He grabbed her hips and spun her around to face him.

"That was the plan." She said softly, reading the passion in his eyes.
"If that's ok?"

"That's more than ok." He smiled, picking her up, sitting her on the counter, kissing her.
After a minute he took a step back and looked at her.
His hands went to her knees, her plaid skirt already riding up her legs.
The look on his face made her bite her lip.
He pushed her legs apart, stepping between them. His hands went to her ass, scooting her closer to the edge, pressing her into him.
She moaned when she felt how hard he was through his pants.

"Lunch is going to burn." She said softly between kisses.
He reached over and moved the skillet off the burner, turning it off.

"Taken care of." He said, one hand sliding up her bare leg.

"Fergal." She starting, making him look at her.
"I've never."

"You've never what?" He asked, before it clicked.
"Oh, OH. We don't have to."

"No, I want to, I just thought you should know." She smiled at him.
"I know you've probably been with a lot of women. I just wanted to tell you."

"Probably not as many as you think." He smiled.
"2."

"Liar." She smirked.

"No, that's it."

"But the way they throw themselves at you. How can you say no to some of them?"

"It got a lot easier when I met ya." He smiled.
"I barely even notice anyone else besides ya, El."
She reached down and pulled off his shirt, pulling him back to her with her legs.
"I'll be gentle." He told her, picking her up and walking her to his bed.
He took his time, kissing just about every inch of her body as he undressed her.
"Are ya sure Love?" He asked, reaching for a condom, sliding off his pants, and rolling the condom on.
She nodded.
"I love ya, El." Fergal said, El gasping as he entered her.
After a few minutes he picked up the pace, El reached up, letting her fingertips dig into his back.
"Fuck El." Fergal moaned, letting his lips fall to her neck, causing her to moan loudly.

"I'm gonna cum Ferg." El panted, and he rolled them over.

"Ride it out baby." He told her, feeling her walls tighten around his shaft, causing him to climax with her.
"Fuck." He breathed as she collapsed on top of him, kissing his lips.
"Ya ok?"

"More than ok." El smiled at him.

"I do love ya, ya know."

"I love you too, Ferg."

February 2006

"Eloise, you have a visitor." Her grandmother called up the stairs.
She walked down the stairs, a smile crossed her lips seeing Fergal standing just inside the door.

"What are you doing here?" She smiled, pulling him into a hug.
"I wasn't expecting you until tomorrow."
He had been on a tour in Tennessee for the last week, and was supposed to be coming back tomorrow.

"I have news." He smiled.
"Can I steal you away for the evening?"

"Gram, I'm going out with Fergal."

"Ok, dear. You two be careful." Her grandmother called as they headed out the door.

"So what's your news?" She asked as they lay in his bed.

"I might be going to Japan."

"Wait, what?" She asked, sitting up.

"I was offered a deal for tree months to learn their style of wrestling." He explained.
"I would stay in the dojo, free room, free training."

"Ok, so what do you mean by might be? Why aren't you jumping at this offer Ferg?"

"It's tree months. I wouldn't be able to see ya, to even talk to ya." He told her.
"I won't be paid, so I won't have the extra money to come back, or to call much international."
He took her hands in his.
"I knew I had to talk to you about this first."

"Well, when do you leave?" She asked.

"El..."

"Fergal, I would feel awful if I held you back from this." She told him.
"This is something you need to do."

"Yer not mad?"

"Mad? Why would I be mad?" She forced a smile.
"I'll miss you. But when you think of this logically, you have to go home sometime, right?"

"El, that's not what I'm saying." He told her, pulling her into his arms.
"I don't want this to be the end of us."

"When do you leave?" She asked, wiping her tears.

"If it all goes how they want it to, March." He said.

"Well, we have a month then." She said.

Before she knew it she was helping him pack up his clothes.
"Here, ya keep this." He told her, handing her the plant she had to water while he was gone.
She smiled at him.

"Yeah, no room for it where you're going."

"I will get back to see you." He promised as the taxi pulled up.

"Don't make promises you don't intend to keep."

"I do intend to keep it." He said, pulling her into a deep kiss.
"My first chance, I'll be back, Love. Maybe then I can talk ya into movin ta Ireland with me."

"You're all talk." She joked.

"Not even in the slightest." He smiled, into her lips.
"I love ya, Ellie."

"I love you Ferg."
He put his bags in the trunk and opened the door, taking a look back at her.
Then he was running towards her, wrapping her in his arms. His lips on hers, his tongue touching hers.
Then, without another word, he walked to the taxi and got in. She watched him leave, not knowing when she would see him again.

June 2007

"Alright, I'm coming." El yelled towards the banging on the door.
"Who comes to a door at 2am?"
As she opened the door arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her out the door.
Before she could scream, familiar lips pressed to hers, causing her hands to wrap around his neck, pulling him closer to her.
"What are you doing here?" She asked breathlessly, her forehead pressed against his.

"I told ya, as soon as I could get back I would." His Irish accent sounding in the dark of the night.

"Am I dreaming again?" She asked herself.

"Do ya dream of me a lot?" He asked her.

"Only every night." She admitted.
"Are you really here?"

"It's been more than a year. I don't care if yer seein someone else, I want to be with ya tonight." He said.
"I can find us a hotel if I need ta."

"No, my grandparents aren't here, no one is, just me." She told him, pulling him into the house, pushing his light jacket off his shoulders.
He spun her around, pressing her against the closed door, his lips on hers, his hands roaming her almost naked body.
She pulled his shirt over his head, and pushed his gym shorts down his legs, as he did the same with her shorts.
He pulled her leg up around his hip, guiding himself into her without a warning.
"Fuck Fergal. If this is a dream I don't ever want to wake up."

"Ya may have to tell me about some of these dreams when I'm done fookin ya." He growled, slamming himself into her again.
"I've missed ya Love." He said, kissing her, as he picked up his pace, with only minutes passing before she was screaming his name.
"What have ya been doin since I left?" He asked as they sat on the couch, not losing contact with each other.

"Well, I graduated high school. Finished my first year of college." She told him.
"I'm taking some summer classes to get ahead."

"Yeah?" He smiled at her.
"Ya in one right now?"

"No, it just finished, I have another one that starts July 24th back in New York."

"Where are yer grandparents?" He asked.

"They went to see my mom."

"Why didn't ya go love?" He asked, his hand cupping her face.

"She's back in rehab again. I didn't want to deal with it, so enrolling in summer classes was a way out for me." She frowned.
"What are you doing here? Last letter I got said you wouldn't be back anytime in the near future."

"I know, a tourney came up and they scheduled me for it." He told her.
"I want ya to come on the road with me."

"I have classes."

"You'll be back before they start back up. I'm in town for two nights, then on the road until the 23rd when I head back to Japan." He said.
"I want to spend every single minute I can with you. And my last show is in New York."

"Ok." She smiled.

"Really? You'll come?" He smiled, kissing her.

"Take a look at this love." Fergal grinned, handing her the flyer from the next show.

"Oh, look, Prince Devitt taking center stage." She smiled until she saw the date.
"Ferg, is this today's date?"

"Yeah, the show is tonight, remember?" He told her, seeing panic cross her face.
"What's wrong El?"

"I'm late." She shot up and walked to her suitcase, digging though it finding her flip phone going through the calendar.

"Late?" He asked.

"My period. I should have started two days ago." She said.
"Fuck!"

"No. No way El. We've been careful. We haven't ever without a rubber." He said.

"When you showed up at my door two weeks ago we did." She said.

"Yeah we did." He couldn't stop the smile from crossing his lips while thinking of that night.
"That was amazing."

"Fergal, stop. This is serious."

"What's the worse that can happen?" He asked.
"Ya have a baby and come live with me in Ireland. Me folks would be tickled."

"Yeah? Why can't you move here with me?" She asked, smiling at him.
"I want to finish school. I want to be ready for a baby. I'm not ready."

"I'm not saying this is the perfect scenario, but I think we could do it, El." He told her.
"If we could wait until we were set, until we were married."

"Married?"

"I want to marry ya one day." He told her.
"I've never thought about my future with someone until you. I want to marry ya, I want ya to move to Ireland with me, but.."

"But not right now." She finished his sentence and he nodded.
"Not until you're set."

"And yer ready." He told her.
"Before we flip out, after the show tonight, we'll go get a test. See what it says, ok?"
She smiled softly and nodded.
As everyone was heading out of the small arena that night he pulled her to him.
"Ready to go get a test before we meet up with the guys for a late dinner?"

"No need to." She told him.
"I just started."

"Really? No baby?" He asked, she nodded.
"I don't know whether to be happy or sad. The thought was starting to sink into to me."

"Happy, be happy." She told him, kissing his lips.

A couple weeks later she watched him leaving again.
There was something different about it this time. He was more established as a wrestler.
He had signed a long term contract with New Japan.
It all felt so final. Like things were done.
She got two letters from him, but they were months in between, then nothing.
Almost like the first time he had left, but his letters were short.
He was busy wrestling. He was traveling, and had made new friends that were taking his time.
He was happy, she knew that, and she was happy for him.
