Shirley had just walked out of the game store. She had purchased the latest game everyone in ACME Acres was going crazy over, Craft the Blocks.
"Okay, so let's see what all the craze is about with this game, or some junk." She said.
Shortly after leaving the store, it started to rain. Her aura came out, made an umbrella out of psychic energy, and held it above itself and Shirley.
"Like, much better." She said.
On the way to her home, Shirley happened to glance across the street to see Furrball's cardboard box home start to dissolve in the rain, causing her to feel bad for him. She went to cross the street to talk to him, but loads of cars started to zoom past on the road before Shirley could get the chance to take a step on the road.
"Like, what's the rush?!" She exclaimed.
She used her psychic abilities to stop the cars and levitate them into the air.
"Drive somewhere else, or some junk!" She yelled.
With the cars in the air, she walked over to Furrball, who was wet and shimmering from the cold rain.
"Like, you don't have to sit here in the rain." She said. "I recently got Craft the Blocks and plan to stream it at home. You can, like, totally come with me and we can stream the game together."
Furrball beamed at Shirley and gave her a hug in appreciation.
"Okay, like, take it easy." She said. "I don't wanna have Fowlmouth or Plucky see you hugging me or some junk."
Later on, Shirley took Furrball to her home. She loaded the game into her system and started the stream.
"Like, hi guys." She greeted the viewers. "I'm, like, totally here with Furrball and we're playing Craft the Blocks or some junk."
Furrball was trying to harvest a tree, but kept just pressing the button on the controller, resulting in his process being repeatedly reset.
"Furrball, you've totally got to hold the button down." Shirley informed.
Furrball held the button down, and the tree was harvested. He turned to Shirley and smiled at her in appreciation.
"I can already see how popular this game is." He said.
"Wow, you can, like, talk?" Shirley asked.
"I mostly choose to remain silent." Furrball replied.
Shirley handed Furrball a list of tips about Craft the Blocks.
"Babs gave me this when I told her about the game or some junk." She said. "You can use it to learn about the game more."
"Thanks, Shirley." Furrball replied. "And thanks for inviting me. I'm sure this stream will be as amazing as you are."
Shirley's face turned a little red.
"Stop it, Furrball." She bashfully replied. "You're, like, making me blush."
Suddenly, Dizzy spun into the room, which startled Furrball and Shirley.
"Dizzy, like, what are you doing here?!" Shirley exclaimed.
"Me saw stream and me saw Shirley blushing!" Dizzy exclaimed. "You two dating?"
"Like, no!" Shirley exclaimed. "Furrball just complimented me."
"Me also see you playing Craft the Blocks!" Dizzy added. "Me want to watch!"
"Ugh, fine." Shirley groaned. "Just, like, don't be a bother."
Shirley activated the "Do what you like" mode, and loaded a lot of coloured squares in her inventory.
"Fifi, like sent me instructions on building statues of us." She explained.
"Make one of Dizzy!" He exclaimed. "Make one of Dizzy!"
"Soon!" Shirley exclaimed. "I, like, already have ideas planned."
"Furrball, get your girlfriend to make statue of Dizzy!" He requested.
"She's not my girlfriend." Furrball replied.
"She must be." Dizzy replied. "You made her blush, and she invited you here."
"Because it's raining and my cardboard box dissolved." Furrball replied, sounding somewhat annoyed.
As the two were talking, Shirley was building a statue of Furrball in the game.
"Like, hey Furrball." She said, to get his attention.
When Furrball turned to Shirley, she pointed to the monitor. He saw the statue Shirley made of him, and was immediately amazed.
"Wow!" He exclaimed. "Y-you made this?"
"Like, yeah." Shirley replied. "Think of it as my way of showing friendship or some junk."
"Let me take over for a bit." Furrball replied.
"Aww, you make statue for boyfriend." Dizzy teased.
"He's, like, not my boyfriend, Dizzy." Shirley scoffed. "I just invited him here to stream a game with me, and your suggesting that it's love is mondo-negataro."
"Me just having fun with friends." Dizzy defended.
"Hey Shirley." Furrball said, getting the loon's attention.
When Shirley turned to Furrball, he pointed to the monitor. She saw that the statue Furrball made of her was even bigger and better than the statue she made of him. The loon's jaw dropped to the ground.
"Furrball, like h-how...?" She stammered.
"I had a good teacher." Furrball beamed. "And I don't mean the instruction guides."
Shirley began to smile. She went to Furrball and gave him a gentle hug.
"You're, like, a good friend." She said. "Okay, I think I should, like end the stream or some junk."
"Hold on!" Dizzy intervened. "Me thinks you should do one more thing before ending stream."
"Like, what is it?" Shirley asked.
"Me think you two should kiss for the viewers." Dizzy informed, with a teasing grin.
Furrball's eyes widened and his face turned red.
"Dizzy!" Shirley yelled, her face turning a little red.
"Come on, do it for viewers." Dizzy replied.
"Why, so they can get more material off of it?" Shirley asked. "Besides, what if Plucky and Fowlmouth are watching?"
What the loon didn't realise is that the two birds she mentioned are watching, and were spamming the comment section until they were automatically muted for spamming.
"Think of viewers; they probably want to see it." Dizzy replied.
Shirley looked at Furrball, then at the monitor, and groaned.
"Fine, I guess." She groaned.
Furrball's face turned more red when Shirley agreed. The duck girl gently held both sides of Furrball's face.
"Well, I'd totally take kissing him over kissing Plucky or Fowlmouth any day." She thought to herself.
"Wow, my first kiss is going to be with Shirley." Furrball thought to himself. "I wasn't expecting this."
Shirley started to slowly move Furrball's face closer to her face. During which, Furrball also gently held both sides of Shirley's face before they started lip-and-beak-locking. Much to Shirley's surprise, during the kiss, Furrball wrapped his arms around her neck, which lead to her wrapping her arms/wings around his body. After a few seconds of smooching, the kiss broke and they released each other.
"There, is everyone happy now?" Shirley asked the viewers.
"Yay, they kissed!" Dizzy excitedly yelled out, with a camera in his hand. "And me get perfect shot! Me show this to everyone!"
Dizzy spun out of the room, prompting Furrball and Shirley to run after him, the latter swinging around a 2x4 timber.
"Like, get back here!" She yelled.
