23rd of March 2016 - Unknown Location
Haruka could smell the salt, the rustle of the leaves of the trees due to the wind and hear the sounds of nature.
"What the..." he said as he opened his eyes, with his neck still hurting for the sniper shot he received back in Tokyo; then he added "Oh man, I feel awful".
He got up and studied his surroundings, trying to figure out where he is.
"Where did those bastards leave me?... A forest?" he said, still a little bit dizzy and confused.
Then he heard a gunshot and the dizziness and confusion quickly disappeared, replaced by his survival instinct.
"A gunshot !? What the hell is going on here?!" Haruka said, drawing his gun from the case.
He ran in the direction of the gunshot, only to see a teenager, roughly the same age as him, lying on the ground with a red spot that spreaded more and more on his shirt.
"Oh my god!" he said and rushed to aid the stricken boy. He tried to stop the bleeding by plugging the wound with his jacket.
"Hey man, hold on, you can do it" he said, trying as best as he could to stop the bleeding, then he added: "Do you know what place this is? Hey?!"
The boy was mumbling, trying to say something with his last breath: "Su-Sumi...re..."
Then his face became completely white and his legs relaxed, finally embracing the cold arms of death.
"Damn, he's dead" Haruka said, covering the poor boy with his jacket. Then, from the poor boy's pocket, a pendant fell, containing a name: "Sumire"
Haruka picked it up and said: "I'll find this Sumire for you, I promise" ; then he put the pendant in his pocket and retrieved the gun back to the case. But before he left the scene, he noticed a guitar case leaning by a tree.
"Why he would need a guitar here?" Haruka thought, curiosly. Then, when he opened the case, a sniper rifle came out of it.
"Oh a Stoner SR-25 " Haruka thought, then he looked at the boy.
"Poor guy, he didn't even get the chance to fight back his assassin; maybe the guy didn't even realize he was armed" he thought. Then his thoughts were broke by the scream of a girl.
"N-no help!" the girl said.
"What else is going on" Haruka said; then he looked through the rifle scope and saw a orange haired girl getting cornered by a girl who looked more like a bulldozer.
"End of the line, baby girl" the bulldozer said.
"N-No! Please, spare me!" the orange haired girl said.
"Wait a minute! That's Hinano Kurahashi from E-Class" Haruka thought, realizing that he was not the only one from Kunugigaoka that was kidnapped.
"Shut up, everyone on this island is doomed to die, except me" said the bulldozer, then she added "Now I'll break your skull, like I did with the others I killed"
"Ok, time's up, let's put the beast to sleep" Haruka said. Then he held his breath, aimed at the bulldozer girl's chest and fired.
"Aaaah" the bulldozer girl screamed in pain, as her shirt was torn apart by the 50 caliber bullet.
"W-Who dared?!" the girl said, gasping for air.
"I did, sugar" Haruka raised his voice tone to be noticed.
"Yo-You bastard... you don't hit ... from behind" the bulldozer said and tumbled to the ground dead.
After the beast was put to sleep, Haruka walked over to the girl and said "Hey, you ..."
"No please don't hurt me" Hinano said.
"Relax, I don't want to hurt you" Haruka said, then he asked the orange haired girl "Rather, you know what place this is?"
"Well ... not really, I woke up in the woods a few hours ago" Hinano said.
"Oh, well, at least I saved you; I'm Haruka Kobayashi by the way, Class 3-C, Kunugigaoka" Haruka said,introducing himself.
"I'm Hinano Kurahashi, nice to meet you Haruka-kun" she introduced her back.
"Well, see you around" Haruka said and was about to leave, but Hinano stopped him.
"Wait, why did you save me?" she asked to him.
"What a question, because I thought you knew more about this island than I do" Haruka explained.
"Ah, that's all? Ahaha ... well ... thanks" Hinano thanked the boy.
"My pleasure" he welcomed back and began walking again toward the woods but the cocking of a gun made him stop on his tracks.
"Stop where you are!" said the girl with a H&K P2000SK pointed at Haruka's chest.
"Who the hell are you?" Haruka said.
"I do the questions here and you will answer them one by one in a way that I think is satisfactory if you don't want me to put a hole in your chest" the girl threatened
"Hey woah calm down girl, you don't need to point a gun at me" Haruka said.
"Yeah, and why is that?" the girl said.
"Yada-san, stop it!" Hinano crashed in the conversation.
"Hinano-chan, why are you defending this guy" Yada said.
"Because he just saved me from a girl that wanted to kill me" Hinano explained to her classmate.
"Exactly, and I would really like if you put that gun down" Haruka said and got closer to the girl.
"Hey back off!" Yada said and fired a warning shot; unfortunately the warning shot hit Haruka's arm point blank.
"Aaah! Why did you do that?!" Haruka said.
"Sorry I-I was panicking and I've overreacted and fired" Yada began explaining nervously.
"Aaah, girl you're excused, but for the record, next time shoot above your head" Haruka said; then he added: "Do you have anything to cover the wound?"
"Uh I have it" Hinano said and gave Haruka her first aid kit.
"Thank you, Hinano-chan" he said.
"By the way, I didn't introduce myself, I'm Toka Yada and ... you look familiar" Yada introduced herself.
"I'm Haruka Kobayashi, we are in the same school" Haruka introduced himself too.
"Really? That's were I saw you, you were always with that redhead girl" Yada said.
"Yeah" Haruka clinched his fist and started remembering that night.
"Hey, maybe is better if I heal the wound, don't you think?" Hinano offered herself to heal Haruka's wound.
"Ok" he said and let her treat it.
23rd of March 2016 - Island's Forest
A man was running away from a killer, but he stumbled on a rock and fell on the ground.
"Where do you think you're running, big boy?" said the assassin.
"Oh,man it's over for real this time" the boy said.
"Messed up like this, you can't run anymore" the assassin said, then she added: "Now die with some dignity"
The man closed his eyes, awaiting his final moment. A shot was fired, but he couldn't feel the bullet burning and pierceing through his clothes.
He opened his eyes and saw that the assassin was on the ground with a hole in the head and said: "What the..."
"Oh, looks like I arrived just in time to save you, professor Ide" another man with military overalls said.
"But I've already seen you, you are one of Yanagisawa's guards" the boy said, recognizing him.
"Officer Jiu Nishimoto and just to point out, I'm an insider for the government" the soldier introduced himself
"Now get up, professor, we gotta get out of here" he added, the professor nodded and began following him
23rd of March 2016 - On the banks of a lake on the island
Near a lake inland of the island; Isogai and Kataoka have just woke up.
"Uh, my head still hurts from that hit I received..." Isogai said.
"I feel sick, I think the tranquilizer was pretty hard" Kataoka said.
Then, all of a sudden they heard a gunshot echoing in the air. Sensing danger, the two teens took cover behind a big rock.
"Where in hell they took us?" Kataoka said, panicked.
"Megu-chan, calm down, we'll get out of this" Isogai reassured the girl.
"Really? And how do you think we can get out of here alive?" Kataoka said, more panicked than before.
"I have a plan" he said and fished out his custom notched combat knife he used to bring around since the first Korosensei appearance; then he said: "Wait here, I'll be back in a moment"
"Ok, be careful Yuma-kun" Kataoka said.
"I will" Isogai said and left the hiding spot.
Near the shore of the lake a guy, dressed in military robes, carrying a Sig-Sauer P220 and a Remington R51, was smoking a cigarette. Isogai, thanks to Karasuma's training, managed to sneak behind him and get close without being spotted. As he was near him, the soldier threw the cigarette in the lake, and he was about to turn around, but Isogai stopped him and put the knife to his throat.
"Woah" the soldier exclaimed, surprised by the move.
Isogai, cold as a ninja could be, said: "Guns"
The soldier saw that there was no way to counterattack, so he obeyed and gave Isogai his guns. Then he adds: "Explosives" and the soldier gave them to him.
"Sorry about this, soldier" Isogai apologized to him.
"Why are you..." the soldier began saying, but Isogai slit his throat open and left him to die.
"I got more to lose than you" Isogai said before leaving.
He then returned to the hiding spot; but he had a feeling that something was wrong. As he climbed to the hiding spot he and Kataoka found.
"Hey, you're back finally" Kataoka said.
"Here Megu-chan, take this gun and this explosives, they'll turn useful on this island" Isogai said to her classmate.
"Thanks Isogai-kun" Kataoka thanked the boy and took the weapons.
"Now c'mon, let's get out of here before someone spots us" Isogai said to her. She nodded and left the spot, walking towards the forest.
23rd of March 2016 - Island's Forest
Hinano was finishing applying stitches and noticed that she was out of bandages.
"Oh shoot, I'm out of bandages" she said.
"Damn, what can we do now?" Haruka said.
"I have this piece of clothing I used to cover my head on sunny days; here take it" Hinano said.
"Thank you Hinano-chan" Haruka thanked the girl and put the piece of cloth of his arm to cover the stitches.
"Don't mention it, is the least I could do right? You saved me" Hinano said.
"Hey Haruka-kun, I wanted to apologize to you again for treating you like that. If nothing else, you were lucky enough to stumble upon me and not some other contender" Yada said.
"Whoah, contender? What do you mean?" Haruka asked to the girl, puzzled by her words.
"You really haven't noticed? Did you?" Yada said, then she added: "We are on The Assasination Show"
"We are on what?" Hinano asked.
Haruka knew that name and his face went completely white.
"From your expression, I see you got the point" Yada said.
"Really, Haruka? And what would this point be?" Hinako asked, still without understanding.
"That we are screwed" Haruka coldly said.
23rd of March 2016 - Yanagisawa's Hideout
Yanagisawa went into his control room to check on the 100 contenders in his not marked on the maps little island off the Japanese coasts.
"Finally, the teens began realizing where they are" Yanagisawa said to himself, then he added: "Well, they haven't even begun to conceive of the hell they're about to go through. This is only the first level. As soon as the second level will be started; one by one, they will all sink until the perfect number is reached"
Then he let out a blood-chilling laugh and went to check on his masterpiece.
"How is my favourite boy doing?" he said to a glass tank filled with plasma from which emerged a body that looked like that of an octopus on steroids.
"The New God Of Death will be ready for the final showdown" one of his researchers said.
"Good" Yanagisawa said.
"Also, we have reports that a known associate has collected the package and she's giving him the drug" the researcher said.
"Nice, so the boy will be ready for the deployment of level 2?" Yanagisawa asked.
"Sure thing boss, just before the reach of the target for level 2, he'll be released" the researcher affirmed.
"Nice, I have to mind some business now; keep up with the good work and you'll get a reward" Yanagisawa said and left.
23rd of March 2016 - Island Forest
"Unbelievable, I ended up in a stupid "Big Brother" of death" Haruka said.
"Uhm, can someone explain all of this?" Hinano asked the two teens, still puzzled.
"Explain what, Hinano-chan?" Yada asked the girl.
"Well, at first what is The Assasination Show? And why will we be screwed?" Hinano asked.
"It amazes me that you know nothing; The Assassination Show is the most watched TV show on the dark web for 10 years." Yada explained the redhead.
"Well, my parets rarely made me use the computer at home because of my grades and all the situation ..." Hinano said.
"I'll explain to you what is this show about, Hinano-chan" Haruka said and began explaining: "You know Yanagisawa right? Well, every year he takes about 100 teenagers like us and dumps them on a desert island like this."
"But what does it do all this for?" Hinano asked, beginning to realize the nightmare they just stumbled in.
"To make them kill each other" Haruka kept explaining.
"W-What?!" Hinano gasped at that sentence.
"Normally, a hundred teenagers would have no reason to kill each other ... unless the survivors of the slaughter receive a reward for killing the final creature." Yada entered the conversation.
"W-What reward?" Hinano asked, frightened by the two teens explaining.
"The life of multi-bilionaire and their freedom ... and the possibility to be injected with a long life serum" Haruka started and Yada finished.
"Is everything more clear now, Hinano-chan?" Haruka asked the redhead.
"Now I understand why you said we're screwed" Hinano said, realizing that she and her friends had just stumbled in hell.
"Who's screwed?" a misterious voice said from behind her.
"Huh!? Ah!" Hinano gasped.
"Fuwa-san! Okajima-kun!" Yada cheered the two teens and ran to hug them.
"Hey there girls! Hell, at school I would have paid gold for a hug like this" said Okajima sarcastically.
"Yeah! But we missed your silly head too haha" said Yada.
"Ha ha, very funny...hey who's the new guy" Okajima asked the two girls.
"Oh, he's Haruka Kobayashi" Hinano introduced the boy.
"Hey there Okajima-kun, nice to meet you" Haruka said.
"My pleasure, Haruka-kun" Okajima said.
"Ok, enough with the chit-chat, let's move out of here" Haruka suggested to the group.
"Watch your backs though; at every corner there could be someone ready to kill us" he then warned the teens before leaving.
They all nodded and left the spot.

Evening of the 23rd of March 2016 - Island Forest
Officer Jiu Nishimoto and the professor were sitting down a campfire; the officer looked deeped in his thoughts, saddened by something. The professor watched him as the sorrow began to get hold of him.
"Nishimoto-san, what are you thinking about that is making you sad?" professor Ide asked the soldier.
"At something I couldn't fix" Officer Nishimoto said.
*FLASHBACK*
11th of August 2015 (7 months prior Korosensei's death)- Fukuyama Research Facility
At the Fukuyama Research Facility, located in a secret spot on the mountains surrounding Kawasaki, Jiu Nishimoto was working undercover as Yanagisawa's personnel. He had almost everything to put the researcher down for good. As the months went by, he picked up a lot of confidential data and kept them in a hard drive inside his personal room. One day he was guarding the patient ward and was looking all like smooth sailing; until from one of the rooms a child's cry brought his attention. As he entered the room, a little girl was lying on the floor with a bloody knee.
Jiu took pity of the little girl and got closer to pick her up from the floor.
"Hey little girl, did you get hurt?" Jiu asked the little girl. The girl nodded shyly.
"I'll take that as a yes; now let's go put a patch on it, a little kiss and everything passes" Jiu said to the little girl comforting her.
As they reach the medical box and treat the wound, Jiu asked her: "What's your name little girl?"
The little girl was a little shy and didn't answer back.
"Oh sorry, I did not introduce myself too; I'm Jiu Nishimoto, nice to meet you" Jiu introduced himself.
"I-I'm Mina, n-nice t-to meet you too, Nishimoto-san" the little girl finally spoke.
"Ok Mina, you've been a very brave girl while I was treating the wound. So, as a reward, here's a candy" Jiu said and offered the little girl a candy.
"Yay, thank you Nishimoto-san!" Mina thanked the man.
"How old are you Mina-chan?" Jiu asked the little girl.
"I am 10 years old" Mina said.
"Hey, why are you here in this laboratory as a patient, Mina-chan? A young girl like you should be at school" Jiu asked, puzzled abou why a girl of such age is in a research facility.
"Well...uhm..." the girl began losing the words again.
"Hey don't worry, if you don't want to tell me, it's ok" Jiu said to Mina.
Then, his radio began ringing and a voice in the intercom said: "Nishimoto, pick up, over."
"This is Nishimoto, come in dispatch" Nishimoto answered the call.
"It appears that one patient managed to escape the facility; her name is Mina Daihatsu, 10 years old, purple hair, it has a scar under her left eye; over" the dispatcher described the fugitive.
"Dispatch, do not raise the alarm, I have her with me, she fell and scratched her knee, I medicated her and I'm taking her back to her room, over" Jiu explained to the dispatcher.
"..." the radio went suddenly silent.
"Dispatch, come in, over" Jiu tried again.
"Roger that, bring her back to her room and report to the control room at the end of your shift. Dispatch over and out" the dispatcher said.
"Roger that, Nishimoto over and out" he answered back, then the radio went silent.
"Ok, young girl, it's time for you to go back to your room" Jiu said to Mina.
"Ok, Nishimoto-san" Mina cheerfully answered.
As they reach Mina's room, a nurse was awaiting her with a syringe.
"Oh Mina-chan, there you are, where you have been?" the nurse asked the girl.
"I fell and hurt my knee, but Nishimoto-san saw me and got me to get it treated, look" she explained as she showed the patch with the frog on it.
"Oh really?" the nurse said.
"Affirmative, the girl was hurt and I got her treated" Jiu explained.
"Ok, but next time, please advice it" the nurse schooled the soldier.
"I know, sorry about that hehe" Jiu said, scratching his head.
"Now Mina-chan, is time for your medication" the nurse said to the little girl.
"Fine" the little girl said and prepared for the injection.
Jiu saw the liquid inside the syiringe and his face went blank when he figured out the kind of stuff they inject into the little girl.
"They're injecting tentacles to a little girl" he thought.
"Now, I want you to be brave and take it like a champ" the nurse encouraged the little girl.
"I'm a champion, I'm a champion" she whispered to herself.
After a minute, the nurse finished injecting the tentacles to the girl.
"All set, well done Mina-chan" the nurse said.
"Thank you" Mina-chan cheerfully thanked.
"Ok, now I have to go; for anything you need, just press the red button near your bed to call me; okay young lady?" the nurse said to her.
"Yes" she answered back.
"Uhm, miss nurse, I am about to clock off from my shift. Do you mind if I stay with Mina-chan?" Jiu asked the nurse.
"Sure thing" the nurse said and left the room.
As the two were left alone, he kept thinking why a 10 years old girl was injected by the tentacles; but Mina interrupted his thoughts.
"Nishimoto-san, wanna play Mario Kart with me?" Mina asked the soldier.
"Sounds like fun, I tell you, I'm quite good on karts" Jiu bragged himself.
After just two races, Mina was first with 100 points and Jiu was dead last with 0 points.
"Wow, you're bad Nishimoto-san hahaha" Mina laughed.
"Uhm...y-yeah eheh" Jiu laughed too, admitting defeat.
Then, he's phone alarm ringed as it indicated the end of his shift as guard of the patient ward.
"Oh Mina-chan, for me it's time to go, do you want me to come tomorrow too?" Jiu asked the little girl.
"Yes, I want it!" Mina said.
"Ok then, bye" Jiu said and left the room.
He then went to the control room for the debrief. After finishing that, he went into his room to change into civilian clothes and make himself comfortable. But a scream from the patient ward made him jump from the sofa and run towards it. He went straight to his little friend room where it appears the scream was coming of.
"What is going on?!" Jiu angrily asked to one of the nurses.
"She is suffering from a side effect of the medicine we are giving her" the nurse explained.
"Collateral effect? Well heal her NOW!" he ordered the nurse.
"You're not in a position to order stuff to anyone, Nishimoto-kun" said Yanagisawa.
"B-But you're killing a 10 years old girl!" Nishimoto accused him.
"She's terminally ill" Yanagisawa said, then he added "She could die in any moment; but with this medicine we're giving her, we could save her"
From the room, Mina could not stop screaming "AAH, GET OFF ME" as the tentacles began to consume her mind like paper on fire.
"She's about to reach critical point" a researcher said, then he added: "We have to terminate her immediately or she could blow up like the moon and kill us all. Sir, do I have permission to terminate her?"
"Permission granted" Yanagisawa said without even thinking about to save her, giving the all clear to kill her.
"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" Jiu tried to stop it.
"Nishimoto-kun, one more interference and I'll put you on the subjects list" Yanagisawa threatened the soldier.
Jiu wanted to stop all of this, make the girl live, at the expense of his life. But the mission was at a turning point and, in order to extract more and more information to send Yanagisawa to death, he had to stick with it. So, with pain in his heart, he said: "Ok sir, I won't interfere in business anymore"
"Excellent, if you want you can stay and say goodbye to her" Yanagisawa said.
"Thank you sir, I accept the offer" Jiu agreed and waited the final end.
Mina fought hard to try and calm down, but it was too much for her. So, the researchers injected her with a drug cocktail to end her pain.
"Ni-Nishimoto-san, p-please come here" Mina said.
"I'm here, Mina-chan" Jiu said, with tears in his eyes.
"I-I feel sleepy; ca-can you sing me a song?" Mina said in the faint voice he had left.
"Sure young lady" Nishimoto said and began singing:

"T-that w-was b-beau-beautiful, thank you Nishimoto-san, I can sleep now" Mina said, beginning to close her eyes.
"Sleep well Mina-chan, Jiu will be always at your side, even the dreams world" Jiu said, with tears flowing down his cheeks.
"G-good night, J-Jiu-san..." she said and and took her last breath with a smile on her face.
"T.O.D. 9:45 p.m confirmed" the doctor said.
"Yanagisawa-san, what we do with Nishimoto?" the nurse.
"Take him to his room and put him to sleep" Yanagisawa said.
"Roger that" the nurse said.
Jiu was at her bedside, crying for the little girl that became his friend in just one day; then, all of a sudden, he felt a sting in the back of his neck, then he started to lose conciousness until he passed out completely. The next thing he knew is that he was in his bedroom, four hours later the accident, tied to his bed, and all his evidence was gone, along with the hard-drive full of photos and top-secret files. There, he understood that the only way to put Yanagisawa down was by killing him and for that, he needed the researcher that found the tentacles and developed the drug injected in Mina-chan's body, Satoru Ide.

Evening of the 23rd of March 2016 - Island Forest
"But...I think...it's better not to think about it" he said, drying a tear coming up his eye lid.
"Were you thinking about a girl hehe" professor Ide said.
"Hey, I wouldn't be so funny if you don't want me to leave you here" Jiu angrily said, raising his voice tone enough to be audible by Haruka and the other teens.
"Huh, did you guys hear that?" Okajima asked the others.
"Yes, I heard" Haruka said, drawing his revolver.
"Let's go Haruka-kun; girls cover our backs" Okajima said.
"Okay" the girls said.
As the five teens approached the campfire, the soldier and the researcher were petrified seeing that three of the five teens had weapons ready to kill them.
"Oh crap, Jiu-kun, they've found us" professor Ide said.
"Not very smart move to raise your voice, hands up quick!" Okajima said.
"Uhm..." Jiu tried to say.
"You too, buddy" Haruka said to the soldier.
"I-I think that the one that is more in danger than me is your friend there" Jiu pointed out.
As Haruka turned around, a giant spider was behind Okajima, who had a feeling that behind him, something wasn't quite good.
"W-what are you talking about?" Okajima said.
"O-Okajima-kun" the teens tried to warn him of the danger but he cut them off by saying: "There's a giant insect behind me right?"
"A giant spider to be precise" Jiu pointed out.
Okajima turned around, only to see a big purple spider ready to pounce at him.
"Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!" Okajima screamed and fired a shot and luckily hit the spider who got away from him.
"Oh crap" the professor said as the spider pounced at him and took him away with him.
"Woah, that was close" Okajima said.
"Yeah man, you'were about to get killed by that bug" Haruka said.
"Uhm guys, where is the professor?" Jiu asked the five teens.
"Who?" Hinano asked.
"The guy that was behind me, where is he?" Jiu refreshed the four teens minds
"Oh damn, the spider got him" Haruka said, seeing the spider prints going in the direction on the professor last location.
"No!No!No! This is a disaster" Jiu said, sawing that the only way to avenge Mina was gone because of him.
"Why so much noise for that guy anyway, what is he? Your best friend or something?" Okajima joked.
"Shut up young man; you have no idea how precious that man is" Jiu angrily said back to him.
"But who the hell is this guy, some savior of the masses?" Haruka asked the soldier.
"I have nothing to do with a gun-obsessed teenager" Jiu angrily answered back.
Then Toka Yada recognized him, he was at her cousin funeral, crying like he was a family member or something. Now full of rage, she raised her gun and cocked it.
"Haruka-kun, Okajima-kun, raise your guns and point them to him" Yada ordered the two teens.
"Ok" the teens said and pointed their guns at the soldier.
"Come on, guys, you don't need to point the gun at me" Jiu tried to reason with the girl.
"On the contrary, did you think I would not recognize you, guard of Yanagisawa's Lab?" Yada said to him.
"What?!" the other four teens.
"Jiu Nishimoto right?" Yada said.
"Affirmative, Yada-san" Jiu answered.
"One of Yanagisawa's goons, here?!" Haruka asked shockingly.
"How did you recognize me?" Jiu asked the girl.
"You were at my cousins Mina funeral; but I never imagined you'd end up on this island" Yada explained, then she asked "What are you doing here?"
"Listen, this is not the time for explanations, Professor Ide must be saved immediately, we cannot allow him to die" Jiu said.
"Why that fatty is so much important to you?" Haruka angrily asked the soldier.
"Professor Ide is the key to surviving in this perverse game of death" Jiu explained the five teens then he made a proposition to them:" Listen, if you help me save him and I'll tell you everything"
"How can we trust someone like you?" Toka asked the soldier.
"I swear on my own life" Jiu promised the teens.
Haruka and Okajima looked at each other with reluctant faces, then Hinano said: "Guys, all we can do for now is trust him"
"Ah fuck it, better than wandering through this minefield disguised as an island" Okajima said, convincing himself.
"Fine, soldier, I'm in too" Haruka also joined the research team.
"We're in too" Yada, Fuwa and Kurahashi said together.
"Thank you for the trust, boys and girls, I will not disappoint you" Jiu said.
But before they could begin searching for a trail, a noise from the bushes made them freeze on their marks. Then, the teens pulled out their guns again to deal with the threat.
"Hey you, come out of the bushes, we saw you" Haruka said.
From the bushes a red-haired boy came out, accompanied by three fellow teens. They were Karma, Okuda, Sugino and Kanzaki.
"Woah, there's no reason to be hostile gu..." Sugino said, but he stopped when he recognized his fellow classmates pointing a gun to him.
"Hey guys, long time no see huh" Karma greeted his classmates.
"Karma!Okuda!Sugino!Kanzaki! Thank god you're ok" the girls said to them.
"C'mon, enough chit-chat, we have to save the professor" Jiu said.
"Yeah sure, but in which direction did he go?" Hinano asked.
"The wound I inflicted on that giant spider made it bleed good, just follow the blood trail and we'll spot his hideout" Okajima said.
"Guys, come with us, we have to stay united to survive" Yada said to Karma's group.
"That was the idea, Yada-san" Sugino said.
"Ok, everyone onboard?Let's go now" Jiu said and the group began following the blood trail.
Night of the 23rd of March 2016 - Abandoned Island Building
The Terasaka gang, since their awakening this morning, has started looting the corpses in search of weapons, ammunition and medkits to heal the wounds. Then towards evening, they found an abandoned building and decided to set up there, for now.
"Wow, I swear I've never seen anything like this" Hazama said, then she added: "That's too much even for me; teens killing each other for whatever reason means something really fishy is going on in this island"
"For real, it looks like the movie Hunger Games" Yoshida said.
"We need to find a way to get out of here" Terasaka said, then he added "It wasn't enough to kill an octopus that moved at Mach 20, also risking being killed by the guy who created him; we have to kill teens like us for whatever goddamned reason"
"You're right, but for now we have to stick together and try to survive" Muramatsu said.
Then the sound of footsteps became louder and louder. The five teens took cover behind one of the walls and watched as three teenagers were right in front of the building. Itona, who had built a weapon very reminiscent of Fallout's Gauss Rifle, looked through the long-range sight only to discover that the three teens were his fellow classmates Mimura, Hara and Hayami.
"Guys" he whispered to the rest of them "They're our classmates Mimura, Hara and Hayami. We have to let them in"
"What? Are you serious?" Terasaka whispered back.
"Yeah I'm serious" Itona whispered back.
"Terasaka-kun, we have to let them in; they're our friends" Muramatsu whispered to his friend.
"You're right...ok, Itona-kun, go out and let them in" Terasaka whispered to his friend.
Itona nodded in approval and went to a unfinished balcony to be visible.
"Mimura! Hara! Hayami! Up here!" Itona said at a low tone but audible enough to attract their attention.
"Itona-kun?" Mimura said to himself, thinking he heard wrong, then he looked up and saw him on the balcony waving his hand "How can you be up there?"
"Don't worry, I'll let you inside with us" Itona answered back.
"Us?" Hara asked the white haired boy.
"Yeah, you'll see...now c'mon get behind here, there's an opening, I'll open it so that you can come in" Itona said. Then, as his friends moved to the back of the building, he quietly ran downstairs towards a hole in the wall that him and the other blocked off with a panel and some iron wire. He opened it and let his classmates in.
"Go upstairs, you'll find some water and some food for the night" Itona said.
"Thank you, Itona-kun" Hayami thanked the boy.
"Don't mention it" Itona said and closed the panel.
Far deep in the woods, a figure watched the whole scene. He then said: "The bad big wolf is coming to eat you hehe" and let out a blood chilling laugh.
Night of the 23rd of March 2016 - The Spider's Cave
"The trail lead here" Haruka said, indicating the cave.
"Now what we do?" Hinano asked.
"Well, this is a man's business, so me, Haruka, Karma, Sugino and Jiu are going to enter the cave. You stay here and watch over, in case any teenagers come with a thirst for blood." Okajima said.
"Hey, I can help too, you know" Yada protested.
"You?! Hahaha; just because you have a gun?" Okajima laughed her off.
"Maybe you've forgotten that I am a first-class athlete with a history in hand-to-hand combat, the gun is the last thing I would need" Yada shook Okajima memory off.
"C'mon Okajima-kun, let's give her a chance" Jiu tried to convince the boy.
"Yes,Okajima-kun, we would need a lot of muscle in there" Haruka joined in the support.
"Fine, Hinano-chan, Okuda-san and Fuwa-san, you stay out here on guard, Kanzaki-san and Yada-chan, come with us" Haruka said.
"Ok, be careful in there" Hinano said to his mates.
"Roger that" Fuwa said.
"Ok, boys and girls let's go find that spider on steroids" Jiu said.
The five teens nodded and entered the cave; inside it, there were a lot of webs, freshly made.
"Hmm, these are fresh, the professor is near" Jiu said, noticing the webs fell apart when touched.
Infact, after two minutes, the teens noticed a pretty large figure hanging on the ceiling. The professor was awake and knew the situation was bad.
"Pssst, professor Ide" Jiu said at a low tone.
"Ah, Nishimoto-san, HELP ME!" the professor screamed.
"Don't worry professor, we'll take you down that web, hang on there" Okajima said.
Then the growl of a feral giant creature shook the cave, the spider came down the ceiling and started crawling towards the professor.
"Hmm,looks like the big guy want to eat him" Haruka said.
"Yeah, and it looks very angry too" Sugino said.
"Jiu, Haruka, Karma, Sugino, Okajima, shoot him; me and Kanzaki-san will take advantage of the decoy to save the professor" Yada said.
"Roger" the soldier and the four teens said and started shooting with their guns. It worked, the spider falled for the decoy and crawled towards the four teens; meanwhile Kanzaki and Yada climbed a small elevation in the cave and began to scale the wall to get closer to the ceiling.
Night of the 23rd of March 2016 - Outside The Spider's Cave
"Damn, being out here without contributing is frustrating. What if they need us?" Hinano said.
"Relax, they're tough and will walk out that cave unscaved, you'll see. Otherwise, this 'fic would not go on without his main characters, right?" Fuwa said.
"Who are you talking to?" Hinano said; then she spotted something hanging from the bushes near the rock they were sat on. She got closer and noticed it was a Nambu Model 60 Police Revolver.
"Did you find something, Hinano-chan?" Okuda asked to the girl.
"Yeah, it looks like someone lost his gun" Hinano said, picking the revolver up.
Night of the 23rd of March 2016 - Inside The Spider's Cave
"Shit, we're wasting a lot of ammo here, I've almost run out of them" Jiu said.
"Yeah, me too. I have to save some for the future, and I don't have anything to kick back" Okajima said.
"I could use the sniper rifle, but it's in the same situation, this is the only cartridge I have" Haruka explained.
"Then we're pretty much done" Jiu said.
"Don't worry guys, I've fixed an explosive that will put this beast to sleep forever" Sugino said and fished out a baseball.
"A baseball?! Dude, this is not the right moment to play" Karma said.
"Don't worry, it's filled with explosives, it'll blow up as soon she hits the spider; STAY BACK EVERYONE!" he said and, as soon the three teens moved out the way he threw it with his personal throwing technique. It looked good, but the ball stopped on the spider's big belly and didn't blew off.
"Now we're done for real" Sugino said.
Throughout the ruckus that was created, Yada and Kanzaki managed to get to the professor's web.
"Don't worry Professor Ide, we'll get it out," Yada said.
"Yada-san, keep an eye out, I'll take care of cutting the web" Kanzaki said and took out his combat knife to cut the web.
As soon the web was cut the professor took Jiu's hand and hanging to him and Yada, climbed down the ceilling back on the ground.
"Thank you girls for saving me" the professor said.
"Ok, mission accomplished, let's get out of here before ..." Jiu couldn't finish the sentence that the growling of the spider was becoming more and more closer to him.
"We're fried guys" Okajima said.
"Well to desperate times calls ... for desperate measures, attack!" Jiu said and pounced in front of the beast to allow teenagers to escape.
"Nishimoto-san, wait!" Haruka said, seeing that his efforts would have been in vain; then he said: "Oh fuck it, AWOOOOO!" pouncing in too.
They were done in two second and were about to get eaten by the big spider.
"Oh my god, they'll get eaten! We have to do something..." Yada was cut off by a gunshot.
The bullet hit the spider who took steps back. From the darkness of the cave entered Hinano, Okuda and Fuwa, each of them carrying a gun.
"Hinano-san!Okuda-san!Fuwa-san! What are you doing here?" Kanzaki said.
"We couldn't stay on the sidelines, Nishimoto-san" Hinano said.
"And you seemed to be in danger too so..."Fuwa said.
"...we came in to help" Okuda finished the sentence.
Haruka then noticed the explosive baseball still attached to the spider's fur and screamed to the redhead "Hinano-san! Shoot at the baseball NOW!"
"Why Haruka-kun?" Hinano asked.
"Just do it! Boys, at my mark, run like the wind and find a safe spot to hide" Haruka said,the soldier and the teens nodded and got ready. The spider was still, he was not moving.
"HINANO-CHAN SHOOT! BOYS TAKE COVER!" Haruka said and ran for cover. Hinano shot and hit the baseball, the explosion was violent, the ceiling began falling down.
As soon as the explosion died down, all that was left of the spider was the blood spilt all over the place. The girls and the professor were waiting in fear and agony that their friends came out of that cloud of dust without any scratches.
"Guys! Haruka, Sugino, Okajima, Nishimoto, are you okay?!" Kanzaki yelled
After two minutes of grueling waiting, the girls began to lose hope that they had survived. Then suddenly, they heard rocks shifting and men coughing from the dust.
"Man, that was a hell of an explosion! I liked it" Haruka said.
"Yeah, that was a lot of fireworks, great idea Sugino-kun" Okajima said.
"Thanks guys, I made them for Korosensei back in the days, but I thought that they could be useful now with real explosives" Sugino said.
"Wow, I'm impressed,well done guys" Jiu said, dusting off his shirt.
"GUYS! Are you okay?! You have been worrying us sick!" Hinano said in a mixed feeling of relief and anger.
"Yeah we're alive and kicking" Sugino said, flipping his thumb up.
"Thanks to you Hinano-chan; WOW! I never thought you could use the guns this good" Haruka complimented the orange haired girl.
"Really; from now on I'll never say again that certain businesses are male stuff" Okajima said.
"Thank you for saving us, Hinano-chan" Jiu thanked her.
"D-Don't mention it" Hinano said, visibly blushing.
"Ok, now that we're all safe, we should get out of here before any unwanted attention begin sniffing around" Jiu said.
The teens nodded and they all left for the campfire where it all started.
Night of the 24rd of March 2016 - Island Forest, Haruka's group campfire
It was past midnight, the group finally came back from the cave and could rest up.
"Phew, that was close, luckily everything turned out for the better" the professor said.
"Yeah, but now it's time to lay it all out, Nishimoto-san" Yada said.
"Right, it's time" Jiu said.
"Wait before you start explaining, I have a question for Hinano-chan; when I found you, you were without any gun; where did you find that Nambu revolver" Haruka asked.
"Well, actually it appeared out of nowhere, as if someone had put it there on purpose" Hinano explained.
"What?" Haruka asked, sensing that something was not quite right.
Night of the 24rd of March 2016 - Island Forest, near Haruka's group campfire
"Thankfully, she didn't notice me; I'll keep scoping them out, then when time's come I'll get in" a misterious girl said holding a pendant with a name on it.

So here it is, the survivors began to to progress in this live-streamed death game. Where are the rest of the E-class survivors? Who is the guy who wants to kill Terasaka's group? Who's the misterious girl that gave the gun to Hinano? What is her intention?
