A Shorter chapter this time but I hope you like it anyway.

Disclaimer-Nothing is mine.

And Cole is not going evil in this fic just to keep that in mind, he was Phoebe's soulmate and he always will be. Due to him not going evil a lot of the Season 4 after the next chapter will be skipped. Again I do not think I will include the last season so just keep in mind Henry might pop up in the Season 6/7 arc (never liked Richard anyway).

Please Read and Review.

And Trigger Warnings for this chapter for miscarriage. Please be aware.

Some chapters will involve a time jump including skipping episodes. Just keep that in mind.

In case it's not clear I DESPISE the Elders. There is not one redeeming quality about any of them. I personally was routing for Piper to drag Prue and Phoebe on strike with her in Season 3 when they took Leo away, I was kinda routing for it in Season 7. Let the Charmed Ones go on strike and see how long they last I say.

And now we are into Season 6! Looking forwards to it.

The God that Billie becomes is actually real if any of you wanted to check.

Mother Of Invention

Chapter 14-And/Then

The final of Season 5. In which Billie comes home to find a strange guy in her living room, her mother and her Aunts turned into Gods and somehow along the way she finds herself changed into what? A demi God? A baby God? Something anyway.

It was par for the course these days that when you came home you were going to find something in the Halliwell house that didn't belong there. Weather or not it was leprechauns (a nice little nugget had allowed Billie to pass all her tests with flying colours, get Jack Floyd to notice her for the first time and to get her a box full of luxury complimentary make up in the post until she suddenly lost her little nugget) or unicorns or Cole and Aunt Phoebe making out in a way that told her that they had just had sex.

It was par for the course. Nearly two years of living in the house and you got use to walking in part vanquish.

But walking in and finding her mother and her Aunts in floaty white dresses and her mother carrying a pointy fork was going a bit above and beyond.

And that was before you got to the guy that was standing there watching them with a highly suspiciously smug look on his face.

He turned to stare at her when she dumped her bag on the couch but before she could say anything he opened the urn again and she was hit by a wave of white light. It knocked her backwards and she choked on…something…as she felt herself bodily lift from the ground.

When she came back to herself she caught a look at herself in the mirror opposite the wall and almost had a heart attack.

Firstly she was dressed in a toga/tea towel that came roughly to her knee and was slashed at the ribs and over her shoulder. Her blonde hair had several inches added to it (nowhere near Aunt Phoebe's but decent enough) and had wildflowers and beads and braids and all sorts of things in it that Billie was one hundred percent sure she was never going to be able to replicate for herself and also one hundred percent sure that she would pay more than six months allowance to get done professionally. Her boots had been replaced with sandals that had long golden twine up to mid leg and had been decorated with jewels and flowers and what not.

Huh.

And then she got a hold of the power. The power of her own magic thrumming under her veins she had gotten to live with. This was a more intense kind of power. She felt…free…alive…all of her senses were heightened. She felt…invincible. Immortal, all powerful. She felt like she could snap her fingers and she would be able to destroy the world and then the second that she felt like that she felt sickened by the thought of destroying the world. She wanted peace. She wanted to be the peaceful one. Peace was a nice floaty white place on this magical journey of hers.

"Mom?"

"Oh honey you look nice" her Mom said with sly grin. "You have more power, cause I have more power. I like power"

She twirled her fork thing around as she said it and the man flinched.

"Stop doing that"

"Who are you?"

"Names Chris, I'm from the future."

"Kay"

Chris turned to look at her. "Seriously you don't ask for more?"

But Billie couldn't find it in her to ask what had happened before she had become like this. The floaty feeling, the duel feeling of peace and power was as such that she didn't have it in her to interrogate this man in front of her.

"Eh this isn't even in the top ten of strange shit—"

"Language Bil"

"Sorry ma"

She turned back to Chris.

"You get the picture"

"Yeah" Chris said shooting her a strange kind of look. "You want the cliff notes version?"

"Sure"

"The mythical titans escaped and killed all the Elders bar a few, Leo has gone into hiding and in doing so he has decided to make you and your mother and your Aunt's Gods."

She blinked. Out of everything that she had been expecting that had not been it.

"Huh?"

"Gods dear"

"Yeah Mom I heard him. Believing him is another matter entirely"

"This is not happening" Piper said swishing her own dress around with a curled lip. "Because Leo is not in the God making business and even if he was how are we embodying the—"

"I need to find Cole" Phoebe said twirling her hair around her waist. "I need to be with Cole and be with the man I L.O.V.E"

"Oh dear God"

"Excuse me…who are we supposed to be?"

That seemed to be a question that Chris could answer and he latched on it like a child with a sippy cup.

"Phoebe is Aphrodite the Goddess of Love, your Mom is Athena the Goddess of War and Piper is Gaea the Goddess of Earth. And your Eirene the Goddess of Peace."

"Nice" she said calmly. "Make Mom the Goddess of War and make me the Goddess of Peace. Real ironic"

"It's not like I picked which one you got" Chris said testily. "It happens. Look ladies I need you to defeat the Titans, because you don't in my world and the future ceases to exist"

"We've heard that one before" Piper deadpanned.

"I think I'm gonna go and get me an army" Paige said.

"No Momma! Give peace a chance"

The second she said it she felt sickened.

"Oh. Dear. God"

"Amen" Chris said looking very much as if he'd wished that he had stayed in the future.

"Come along Billie, you can help me"

"This isn't what I had in mind when you said we should do more mother daughter bonding things. Remember Mom, peace is the pathway to happiness—Oh just stick me with that thing! Seriously all the Goddess I couldn't get the one of feminism or truth or…eyeliner?"

Her Mom just laughed and then waved them away in a cloud of smoke.

This was just as Cole came in.

Billie gave it three minutes before he was having sex with an actual Goddess.

Seeing Billie was weird.

Seeing all of them was weird but seeing a young Billie, seeing his young cousin was just the weirdest of them all.

When Chris came along Billie was older. She'd walked into the house and all of his and Wyatt's friends had looked at her in awe. Even now she was off somewhere running the rebellion, helping good witches and their families keep a low profile during the trials. The woman had mad skills and was number one on Wyatt's list even though Chris suspected he had now been raised to be number one.

Wyatt had never been able to catch Billie though.

Chris suspected that her father's side might have had something to do with that however. Billie had mad skills as a witch, when she tapped into the demon side of her, when she walked that fine line between good magic and good magic for bad reasons she was damn near unstoppable.

He wondered briefly as the Charmed Ones became Gods and then battled and won against the Titans (well…Mom did technically…God it was going to be weird pretending that she was not his Mom and calling er Piper and…well…all of it. Ironic really. It had been his Dad he had worried about coming back. To say nothing of Uncle Cole who was already looking at him as if he could read right through him. Like he knew it was Chris who had stolen his vodka when he was fifteen and that it was not the food poisoning he had told his Mom it was at the time) if he should tell Billie about her Dad.

But then again…what good would that do. Zankou was going to become such a prominent feature in the war to come that Chris didn't know how he was going to tell Aunt Paige the truth without her going out and vanquishing him way earlier. She didn't know yet what was going to happen and he was under strict instructions to not dick around with the timeline.

Consequences and all that.

But he couldn't help but wince because he knew what was coming. He knew what was coming and he knew it was going to be any good.

Well…at least he never had to call Zankou Uncle.

Billie blinked cracking her neck to the side. Even now the lack of goddess powers was getting to her. She groaned face planting the couch and her Mom laughed gently pulling her hand through her hair and curling some of the blonde around her shoulders.

"You know I have no idea where you got this blonde from" she said quietly.

"Dad maybe?" she asked and then she winced. Her Dad was still a tough topic between the them but her Mom sighed.

"I don't think so. Bil…I got to tell you something. When I was under the Crone's…influence so to speak at the market I had a…memory flashback of sorts. I think I remember him now"

Billie shot off the couch so fast her head began to spin.

"You know who he is?"

"I don't…I have a partial name and a vague recollection. Not much else"

"Who?"

"Zan"

"Zan?"

"Zan…something…Billie don't go and ask Chris okay because we can't meddle in the future without changing it but I got something to go on now. I can't promise you that I will remember more but clearly the memory is something to go upon here. I just…Bil you gotta give me some time okay? It's been you and me against the world for a very long time and I don't know what your father is going to do that dynamic, to us, to this family. I need to figure out my own feelings towards him before you go and jump headfirst into the mess"

Billie considered this and then nodded.

"Fair" she said and then she held out her pinky finger and Paige took it.

They linked fingers for a second and then Billie dropped her head back down to Paige's knee.

"My head hurts" she said quietly. "I think it's all the power"

"I know, mine hurts to, you go from having the power of a God to being a mortal again and it does leave you a bit deflated"

"It's not just that. It's Leo"

Paige nodded. Leo had gone to be with the Elders, he had left Piper and Wyatt and Paige was not sure how she felt about that. Right now she was so tired she could barely get her brain to work other than putting on the tv and ordering a pizza. She didn't want to think about how it was going to work now that they had lost their whitelighter, their brother in law, their magical support and their friend and as Cole had pointed out helping a loved out Phoebe to bed (though how that involved carrying her bridal style Paige couldn't figure out) their loss was nothing compared to Piper's.

Paige didn't even want to think about Piper's loss or what was going to happen when it finally hit her.

"Bil, go grab the phone and we will order some take out okay. I think I might have to scream if I have to cook tonight"

"Can we get the old box sets down and watch some Cagney and Lacey?"

Paige snorted. Sometimes she thought that she had really raised her kid a decade earlier before she had been born.

"Sure Bil, sure"

She stood up as Billie stood up and then straightened. She knew Chris was upstairs, Piper was in bed, Phoebe in bed but she couldn't help but have a feeling that she was being watched. It was hard to explain but hard to explain feelings were the difference between life and death around here and so she turned to look around.

She didn't…she didn't seen anything out of the ordinary. Chris had said that the power drain that had happened when they had lost their Goddess powers would hit them for a couple of days and maybe that was that.

She nodded to herself and went to sit back on the couch grabbing her credit card as she went.

She didn't go near the window. It didn't matter if she had, she wouldn't have been able to see the demon half hidden in the bushes watching who had surfaced after fifteen years having received a message from an old crone that he should see the daughter he had, with the Charmed one and the woman that he had unreservedly, without reason been thinking about for all that time.

She didn't see that.

In hindsight maybe that was a good thing.

Or a bad thing.

Because it was only just beginning.

And yeah, so there is Chris and he will continue to make his appearances throughout the season six arc. And we also have Zankou coming in a season early. If you like Richard you might want to skip the next part as well cause I am fifty fifty on that.

Next Chapter-The First of Season 6-In which the Charmed Ones are Valkries, Leo is gone, Billie is somewhat suspicious of Chris and Paige meets a charming man in a bar.
