Hey guys welcome to Chapter Five of Power of The Gods. Now I know, I know, it's been over a month since I've updated this. But I have good reasons; school was ending, I had to get a new job, and had to worry about some other personal stuff. But I promise I will try to go back to the weekly updates that I used to do. Now then, let me respond to the review from last chapter.

Racan - Glad you loved it. I hope you're still interested after all this time. I personally hate how some people treat the 'First Kill,' like they're children-soldiers, wouldn't they've gotten a class on the trauma of killing? But they're also children, so I had to balance it. Glad I could make you laugh.

Awaiting Rebirth

All Kaguya wanted was to protect her new home. Why couldn't her two sons see that? To protect the world from the likes of her fellow clansmen, she would need an army that rivaled the numbers of Otsutsuki. Then while they're busy dealing with the Zetsu's, she would swoop in and kill them where they're standing. But that plan's been spoiled due to her two sons, Hagoromo and Hamura, finding out about it and deciding it was immoral. Of course she knew it was wrong, she grieved about sending those people to death everyday, but it was a necessary evil for the fate of this world.

Now, she lay defeated by the hands of her two sons awaiting her punishment.

"I'm sorry mother. I can't keep you here, not while you were acting like that. I'll seal you away, until your body decays and withers into nothing more than ash. I truly wish it didn't have to be this way." Hagoromo said to her, with those cursed eyes of his looking at her in disappointment. Every time she would throw something at him, he would use those cursed eyes and absorb it. She merely stares at him with hate clearly visible in her pure white eyes. Meanwhile her other son, Hamura, just stares at her with sadness in his eyes that matched hers so much.

With that Kaguya is sealed, by a technique her son called Chibaku Tensei. A technique that he described as making a meteor. Except this time, it seems like he's making it bigger than that, he's making it a third of the size of this world. How dare they! How dare they seal their own mom away because she was trying to protect them! This is unfair, all she wanted was to protect her two little boys, and the rest of the world which she called home. She would not let this stand.

Focusing on the energy that was left inside her, and focusing on the teachings she got from her former clan when she was young, she formed a manifestation of her own Karma Mark. She shoots it from inside the still forming ball of rock through a crevice, causing it to land outside and free. Telepathically she sends her manifestation a message, "You know what you are, you know what you must do. Find me a worthy successor and merge with them. It does not matter if I must wait for hundreds of years, my rebirth is absolute."

With that, Kaguya is sealed away outside of the world's atmosphere. Never to be seen again, for now. All the while, her manifestation is watching, sadness and confusion in its eyes while it watches his master get sealed away for eternity. Collecting itself though, and remembering its mission, the manifestation slithers away looking for a host to combine with while it starts its search. The world will know the wrath of Kaguya.

Kakashi awoke in an unfamiliar setting. He felt the blanket on him and the pillow his head was resting on, but he couldn't figure out where he was. All of a sudden he hears a voice that sounded like Sasuke speaking, "I see you're awake Kakashi. Let me get the others." As he painfully sits up, he hears footsteps fading away; presumably to get Sakura and Naruto. Just as he sits up the door for the room he's in bursts open and Naruto enters out of breath, followed closely by Sakura and Sasuke.

"Kakashi-sensei! Are you ok!? From what I heard from Sakura-chan, you suffered from severe chakra exhaustion" Naruto said in that loud boisterous voice of his, though this time it was laced with concern, same as his eyes. Kakashi just gave him his signature eye smile and assured them that he was ok, just slightly sore and exhausted from the fight that took place just a couple hours ago. Thinking back on the fight, Kakashi figures out two things. First, he needs to get back into shape, the fact a guy like Zabuza was able to survive a fight against him is a miracle. Second, a Hunter-nin is supposed to destroy the body on sight, not take it to a new location. He voiced his concern out loud to his students.

"Zabuza is still alive."

The reactions he got from that statement, especially from Naruto were comical to say the least. Naruto's eyes got comically wide and he started sputtering words he couldn't make out from his mouth. Sakura just froze in place and her jaw dropped almost all the way to the floor. Sasuke..didn't really do anything than just quirk an eyebrow but he did see his body freeze for the most part. So much for comical reactions. After getting his bearings, Naruto spoke up, rather loudly might I add. Causing Kakashi to flinch at how loud his voice is whenever he's confused and vowed to never make that mistake again.

"B-b-but sensei, we saw him get stabbed with those senbons through the neck. You even went up to check for his pulse and you said he had none. Now you're saying he's alive," Naruto grabs his head and shakes it with confusion evident in his eyes, "that doesn't make any sense." Kakashi shakes the ringing out of his head and explains why he thinks the way he does.

"A Hunter-nin is supposed to destroy a body right where it is as soon as they kill them. Not take the body to a different place, possibly losing it, and letting the secrets of the village be stolen. It's just not standard procedure. Also, the place where he got Zabuza is not a vital point. Meaning, he didn't kill Zabuza, he just put him in a death-like state." Understanding grew in their eyes after having him explain his reasoning, but then concern overtook that understanding. Kakashi automatically knew what they were thinking, so before anybody opened their mouths, he cut them off.

"No Zabuza won't be coming after us, not for a little while at least. Being put into a death-like state does something to the body, causing it to have to regain its strength, just like I'm having to do right now. From my understanding, we have at most a week to get ready for another altercation with him and the fake Hunter-nin." That seemed to ease the tension in their shoulders a little bit. They were still understandably a little frightened at having to fight such an enemy again, but that would get better over time.

"You guys go find a clearing and wait for me there. It's time I start training you seriously." The Genin finally got serious and they each nodded their heads at them. Well, in Sasuke's case it was more of an inclination of his head, but it's better than nothing. With that they got up and went outside, ready to get their first ever true training session.

The night draped Konoha in a somber embrace, as the echoes of tragedy reverberated through its deserted streets. Naruto, his once bright spirit eclipsed by a dark resolve, roamed with an unsettling determination. His eyes burned with a fierce intensity, mirroring the chaos brewing within his heart. The world had too much hate in it, created by humans and their petty wars. Alongside their arrogance and strive for the goal to rule over everybody.

Unbeknownst to Naruto, an enigmatic presence stalked the shadows, their footsteps muffled by the weight of unspeakable deeds. Cloaked in darkness, the figure exuded an aura of dread and darkness. Their spirit, burdened by the weight of tragedy, emanated an eerie tranquility. They told Naruto they would do it, they promised it would happen. As it turns out, they did it, they killed the

As Naruto ventured deeper into the village's heart, he sensed the lingering aftermath of devastation. His instincts led him to a secluded corner, where an unsettling silence hung in the air. He saw it, the Hyuga clan wracked with bodies and blood all over the walls and the floors. Hell he even saw the small pond that was normally a pale blue, reflecting the sky above it, turned into what people would assume to be a pool of blood there. Amidst the wreckage, stood the enigmatic figure, their back turned to him.

A chill ran down Naruto's spine as he approached cautiously, his voice laced with curiosity and apprehension. "Who are you?" he demanded, his eyes fixed on the mysterious individual, their presence exuding an otherworldly darkness. He had a suspicion of who it was, but he hoped beyond hoped that it wasn't them. He didn't want their kind soul to get totally erased because they pulled something like this off.

The figure stiffened, their grip tightening on a blood-stained weapon. Slowly, they turned, their face concealed, withholding their identity not only from Naruto but also from the readers. An unnerving calm enveloped them, belying the horrors they had unleashed upon the Hyuga Clan. Naruto's gaze burned with a mix of confusion and anger, the weight of the Hyuga's tragedy heavy upon his heart. "Why did you do it? What purpose could justify such a terrible act?" he implored, his voice trembling with a mixture of grief and frustration.

Silence permeated the air, broken only by the distant whisper of the wind dancing through the ruins. The figure stood resolute, their inner turmoil hidden from prying eyes. They seemed burdened by a secret so profound that it had become etched into the very fabric of their being. Of course he would find them, they should've remembered they were coming back from a mission late. The kind of mission could've turned bad and taken all day and, as it turns out, that came to pass.

The figure's presence loomed large, their intentions shrouded in mystery. They turned slightly, partially revealing their obscured face. Naruto's face didn't show any emotion, but inside he was shocked to his core. It turns out he was correct in who he thought killed the clan. With a final enigmatic gesture, the figure retreated into the shadows, leaving Naruto alone with his unanswered questions. He knew why they killed the clan, he was there when it happened. They said they would kill them, but he didn't think they would actually go through with it.

The moon hung high in the ink-black sky, casting an ethereal glow over the desolate remnants of the Hyuga Clan compound. Naruto stood there, his heart pounding with a mixture of anticipation and uncertainty. The enigmatic figure had retreated, leaving behind a trail of questions and an insatiable desire for the truth. As the weight of the moment settled upon Naruto's shoulders, a surge of determination coursed through his veins. He couldn't let this killer escape, nor could he allow the darkness that had consumed them to go unchecked. With renewed purpose, he set off in pursuit, his steps swift and resolute.

The shadows seemed to whisper secrets as Naruto weaved through the labyrinthine ruins, his senses sharpened by a potent mix of adrenaline and resolve. He had to find the figure, unmask their true intentions, and bring an end to the reign of chaos that had befallen the village. After what felt like an eternity of searching, Naruto's efforts bore fruit. He cornered the figure in a dilapidated chamber, its walls stained with the haunting memories of a bygone era. The air crackled with tension as Naruto stepped forward, his voice steady but laced with an undeniable urgency.

"Enough games. Show yourself," Naruto demanded, his eyes narrowing with a fierce determination. He knew that beneath the veil of anonymity, a story of pain and betrayal awaited its reckoning. He knew who it was, he just wanted the confirmation of it to finally settle the fire that saw starting to build inside him fueled by rage of what they've done.

"I won't let you escape justice," Naruto continued, his voice echoing with resolve. "The darkness that resides within you must be confronted, and the truth must be unveiled." A silence, heavy with unspoken truths, settled between them. The figure's concealed gaze bore into Naruto's soul, a silent plea for understanding. The weight of their actions, the pain they carried, became almost palpable.

The figure hesitated, their body trembling with conflicting emotions. A fleeting moment of vulnerability flickered across their features before they straightened their posture, steeling themselves once more. They turned to face Naruto, their face still obscured, their true identity remaining tantalizingly out of reach. That was until they puled down their hood and Naruto finally saw who did it. His face didn't change much besides the widening of his eyes. His suspicions were confirmed in the worst way possible.

"What did I say Uzumaki? I told you, this would happen, it was destined." Isshiki spoke up for the first time tonight, his voice filled with demeaning arrogance. "Now though, after it has finally come to pass, what will you do? You have them cornered, you know you are far stronger than them. Will you kill them? Or will you let them go and live a life full of lies even more?" Isshiki continued, his voice filled with genuine curiosity. Like he was actually excited to see how Naruto would react.

Even though Naruto heard him, he didn't acknowledge him. As if it went in one ear and out the other. All he did was stare at the figure who finally revealed themselves. That was until he just turned around and started walking away. The figure stood still for a second, until they started to move in the direction of Naruto to try and plead with him to not tell anybody. They were stopped however, but Naruto's voice, "Leave. Leave and never come back. I won't tell anything to anybody, your secret is safe with me."

The figure stood still, their hand stopped from reaching him halfway before he spoke up. The figure took their hand back and nodded, they faded into the darkness and left Konoha...for good. Naruto just kept on walking, tears running down his face distraught at the thought that it had to come to this. As he was walking, he only had one thought flowing through his mind.

'This world...is hell.'

The sun painted the sky with hues of orange and gold as it began its descent, casting a warm glow upon the hidden training grounds of Konoha. Naruto, with his trademark bright smile and spiky hair, could be seen eagerly honing his skills. But today, fate had a heartwarming surprise in store for him. As Naruto practiced his jutsu, a figure emerged from the shadows, catching his attention. It was Anko Mitarashi, her presence a blend of intensity and mischief. Naruto's eyes widened with excitement, and he hurriedly made his way toward her.

"Anko-nee! What brings you here?" Naruto asked, his voice filled with genuine curiosity.

Anko smirked, her gaze fixed on Naruto. "Just happened to be passing by, kiddo. Thought I'd see how you're holding up," she replied, her tone laced with playful banter.

A rush of gratitude washed over Naruto. Despite her tough exterior, Anko had always shown him a unique form of support, pushing him to his limits while subtly nurturing his growth. He respected her strength and admired her ability to find joy in the chaos of life. Leaning against a tree, Anko watched as Naruto continued his training, his determination evident in every move he made. The connection between them grew stronger, a testament to the bonds formed in the crucible of shared experiences.

After a particularly impressive display of agility, Naruto paused, wiping the sweat from his brow. "Anko-nee, do you think I'll ever truly belong? Sometimes, I feel like an outsider, you know?" he confessed, his voice tinged with vulnerability.

Anko's eyes softened, and she approached Naruto with a gentle smile. "Belonging isn't something that's handed to you, Naruto. It's something you create for yourself. You've got a fire within you, and those who truly see you will recognize it. It might take time, but trust me, you'll find your place."

Her words resonated deep within Naruto's heart, filling him with newfound hope. He realized that belonging wasn't solely about being accepted by others; it was about embracing his true self and finding his purpose in the world. As the sun dipped below the horizon, Naruto and Anko shared a moment of connection, a testament to the power of understanding and support. It was a bond that transcended age and experience, a testament to the enduring spirit of friendship. Naruto, fueled by the wisdom of Anko's words, continued his training, knowing that he was never alone. With each step forward, he carried the belief that one day, he would find his rightful place among those who saw him for who he truly was.

The late afternoon sun bathed Konoha in a warm golden glow, casting long shadows upon its bustling streets. Laughter and the clinking of bowls filled the air as the members of the Rookie Nine gathered at Ichiraku Ramen, a beloved haven of comfort and camaraderie.

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Hinata, Kiba, and Shino occupied a corner booth, their anticipation evident in their wide smiles and animated chatter. They were joined by their respective sensei's—Kakashi, Asuma, and Kurenai—whose presence added a touch of guidance and wisdom to the youthful exuberance that filled the air.

The aroma of steaming ramen bowls wafted through the air, tantalizing their senses and whetting their appetites. The bond between these young shinobi and their mentors had deepened over time, forged through countless missions and shared moments of triumph and adversity. As they settled into their seats, Naruto's eyes gleamed with excitement. "You guys ready for a feast?" he exclaimed, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. The others nodded eagerly, their stomachs rumbling in agreement.

Ramen bowls were soon placed before them, each one a testament to Ichiraku's culinary expertise. The group dove in, their chopsticks dancing with practiced grace as they savored the familiar flavors that had become an integral part of their journey. Conversation flowed effortlessly, punctuated by laughter and occasional teasing. They reminisced about past missions, shared dreams and aspirations, and reveled in the camaraderie that had become the foundation of their bond.

Kakashi leaned back, his single visible eye crinkling with a smile. "You've all come a long way since the day we first met. It's been an honor to witness your growth and see the friendships that have blossomed among you," he remarked, his tone tinged with pride.

Asuma nodded in agreement, his eyes scanning the table, taking in the sight of his proteges. "You've each found your own path, developed your unique strengths. But remember, the power of teamwork is what truly sets you apart. Together, you're unstoppable," he emphasized, his voice carrying a weight of experience.

Kurenai's gaze shifted to Hinata, her expression filled with warmth and encouragement. "You've grown immensely, Hinata. Your determination is an inspiration to us all," she said, her voice conveying unwavering support. Hinata blushed, a shy smile gracing her lips. The words of her sensei fueled her confidence, reminding her of the progress she had made and the strength she carried within.

As they continued to enjoy their meal, the chapter closed on a scene of harmony and connection. The bonds of friendship that had been forged in their shared experiences grew stronger, intertwining their lives in a tapestry of support and understanding.

The scene at Ichiraku Ramen served as a reminder that amidst the trials and tribulations of their shinobi lives, moments of joy and togetherness were essential. It was in these simple moments, surrounded by the people who understood them best, that the Rookie Nine found solace and inspiration, fortifying their resolve to protect the village they held dear. With their bellies full and hearts brimming with gratitude, the group bid their sensei's farewell, promising to meet again for their next adventure. As they dispersed into the twilight, their laughter lingering in the air, the bonds that united them remained unbreakable, destined to carry them through the trials that awaited them.
