Time Skip: 8 years

Naruto woke up in his den. Over the last 8 years he had expanded his home and and connected it to the village through various tunnels. He had 4 main exits. His first exit was in the forest of death within the hollow tree. His second being in the underground section of the hokage tower, with the hokages approval. Allowing him to make it to the academy on time. The third took him to the foot of the hokage monument. The fourth took him to the training grounds closest to the hero monument. He had many more that let him out into the sewer and other training grounds.

His home had grown in size having many more rooms and it had even been dug out allowing more hight. from floor to ceiling there was ten feet. His tunnels where only 7 feet in hight. He had gotten access to the villages water pipes and he had routed them throughout his tunnels allowing for running water. He had even made a larger room for his scrolls. He had in total 3 working bathrooms, 4 large bedrooms, a dining room and kitchen, an office which doubled as his library, an indoor hotspring, and his living room. In short he had a miniature mansion underground. He still lived on his own but he thought ahead incase he found any Uzumaki out in the world.

He was currently in the master bedroom laying on his king sized bed. He really didnt want to get out of bed but today was a special day as it was the final exam to become a genin. He begrudgingly rolled out bed smacking face first into the hard stone floor. He got up and walked to his dresser. He grabbed a pair of clothes and exited the room. He entered the bathroom directly across from his room to take a shower.

As he entered the bathroom he romoved his shirt and looked at himself in the mirror. He had a scar right where his heart was.

FlashBack- 2 years ago

Naruto entered the uchiha district looking for his best friend and secret crush Sasuki. As he walked toward the train area that the Uchiha siblings used he heard yelling.

Immediately recognizing the sound of Satsuki screaming at her brother Naruto ran fast enough to match a skilled genin at full speed he arived at the training ground seeing the two Uchiha fighting again probably about going after their elder sister. He regognized a sharp object in Sasuke's hand. It was a kunai and the way he was holding it he could tell the brother was going to use it on his sister so Naruto quickly appeared behind Sasuke and attempted to subdue him with a chop to the back of his neck.

Unfortunately for him the boy felt to disturbance in the wind and swung his hand around impailing the blade into Naruto's chest right where his heart was.

Naruto's eyes widened as he looked down and the handle of the blade protruding from his chest. He then slowly slumped forward onto Suskes shoulder as his blood started to flow from his chest.

Satsuki screamed at the sight of he brother murdering the boy who had helped her so much over the last six years since the incident. Sasuke on the other hand just couldn't believe what he had just done. He knew how much Naruto had meant to his sister.

Suddenly Izumi appeared after hearing Satsuki screaming. Seeing her little brother figure with Naruto slumped over him she rushes over and checks on all three teens seeing bloody tears running from both siblings she immediately knew what had happened she quickly knocked out Satsuki and Sasuke and grabbed a flair from her pouch and fired it off signaling an emergency. Soon 6 ambu along side the Hokage appeared.

Hiruzen's Pov:

Izumi was holding Naruto in her arms. The two Uchiha siblings where unconscious. Naruto had a kunai lodged in his chest.

Wait Naruto. Had a kunai. In his chest.

Shit.

"Anbu secure the area, Izumi take Naruto to the hospital, remain by his side." The Hokage ordered. 'Naruto please be okay.'

Izumi dashed to the hospital.

flasback end-

Naruto continued to look himself over he had grown in hight now being 5'10 being the tallest of his class. He had a very lean build, he looked as if he where built for speed alone. He had a small tattoo on his right shoulder that looked like a small fox kit. The color of its fur being crimson red like his hair and the fox had black on the tips of its tail and ears. This tattoo meant more to Naruto then you would have suspected.

Around 4 years ago Naruto had found a small injured red fox kit. He had nursed the fox back to health and learned he could communicate with foxes much like the Inozuka could with dogs.

Naruto had spent 2 years with the kit till the day he was stabbed by Sasuke. The kit had somehow used its natural chakra to fuse itself with Naruto helping his natural healing ability along healing the fatal wound but in the end the kit lost its life due to the amount of chakra it used.

When Naruto had awoken he had the tattoo on his shoulder right at the point the kit had last laid its head when he was sufficient. Naruto had been depressed for many weeks after that. That was until he had seen Satsuki enter his room roughly a month after he woke from his slumber.

She hugged Naruto tightly as she sobbed into his shoulder. "Naru... I'm so happy you're alive. I love you to much to lose you like that." When she realized what she had just said her face went crimson and she backed away covering her mouth eyes wide. "I-ignore t-that p-please."

Naruto ssmiled reaching up and grabbing her hand. "No can do, Satsuki-chan, cause I love you too."
