Chapter 8 Avatar vs Demon
I don't own Record of Ragnarok or any of the series here.
Many came to see the tournament, Henry waits with his book and watches the match.
"Representing humanity, he's a young man that traveled the nations to bring peace to all, he is known as the Avatar, Aang!" Heimdall said.
Aang comes out carrying his staff and smiles.
Humanity was surprised to see someone very young fighting, while the gods smirked, seeing a child fighting in a death match.
"Heh this will be easy for all of us." said Loki.
"Come on Aang you can do it." Sokka said.
"Show them the power of the avatar." Katara said.
"Long ago… he helped those foolish mortals… With their worldly desires… And showed them the path… Through the darkness… Here is that man! This man… abandoning royalty… Abandoning family… Abandoning worldly desires… Abandoning the six emotions… Trodding an untrodden! Like the horn of the rhinoceros… He walked all alone… And so, in just six years… This man attained enlightenment! born alone… Living alone… And fighting alone!" He stated. "Throughout heaven and earth… I alone am the honored one. Throughout heaven and earth… I alone am the mighty one! Only I… am strong! It's Buddha!"
Buddha appears and raises a hand, many gods think they won but then he walks to Aang's side.
"W-Wait… uh… that's the wrong way!" Heimdall said. "That's going too far! too far!"
Heimdall takes the horn making him stunned. "Test, testing! I'll be fighting with Aang as his divine partner... Ya dig?"
Heimdall got stunned. "Huh?"
This made all the gods mad as they started to yell at them.
"Shut up!" Buddha said stopping them. "If the Gods won't save them...I will. And if any God gets in my way...I'll kill them."
He and Aang posed together as they were ready to fight together.
"Wh...What the heck!? Why's Lord Buddha fighting for-?" Goll looks at Brunhilde and Henry.
"He's the big secret we kept, and he was good match for Aang as they share similar views." Henry said.
He glares at Brunhilde who looks away since all of humanity will be in danger because of her.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! You can't do that!" Heimdall shouted. "We've already decided on the 13 Gods and 13 Mortals that would be fighting… so you switching over to Humanity throws everything out of ord-"
"I don't mind." Zeus said. "We will just need a replacement."
"Well you heard him." Aang smiles.
"Let me ask you… Buddha...are you prepared to make enemies of all us Gods?" Odin asked.
"Didn't I tell you guys? Friend or enemy, good or bad, God or Human. It doesn't matter who you are...'cos in this whole world, I'm just me!" He said.
Aang high fives Buddha showing they're friendship.
Then a ship comes down and Bishamonten came with the Lucky gods. "We knew you were a triator.
"Representing the gods... Bishamonten! Wait… um… could all of you beside Bishamonten… leave the field." Heimdall stated. "Um… you see… we can't have seven Gods on the field all at once!"
They all looked at him.
"We… are not seven Gods… from the very beginning… we were one!" Bishamonten stated, confusing Heimdall, Bishamonten took a deep breath then broke free of his armor! "The seven misfortunes… bring immediate destruction!"
Then all the other six gods merged with him and they all saw a new one appear, Zerofuku.
"You… make me sick… I wanna murder you." Zerofuku said.
"Hey they became one." Sokka said.
"Wow, loser." Toph said.
"Hey!" Zerofuku got insulted.
"Th-There was a God… that sinister here in Valhalla?" Ares asked in shock.
"So that's the Zerofuku I have heard rumors of…" Hermes stated.
"Z-Zero…?" Ares said in shock.
"Out of disaster… comes blessings." Hermes stated. "It seems the second half of round 6 is a fateful match."
"Well let's do this Aang." Buddha said.
"Right." Aang said as they grabbed they're hands performing the volund as the staff and abilities become his divine weapon.
Zerofuku charges at Aang who puts his hands foward sending a gust of wind hitting the God away.
"Tch, lucky shot." said Zerofuku, wiping his lip.
His axe started to react and he attacks Aang who moves around with ease while throwing more wind blasts.
Aang noticed his axe getting bigger. He's absorbing misery.
"To use dark emotions to power himself up." Katara said.
Zerofuku turns his weapon into a cleaver and swings it at Aang who dodges.
"Good thing I don't have air or I would have some cut off." Aang said.
"He's able to dodge it all." Goll was amazed.
"That's the power he has. As the avatar he mastered all the elements allowing him. Granting him many abilities." Henry smiles.
Aang makes a tornado to push Zerofuku away
Zerofuku sends many blades around and Aang summons many stone walls to block them.
Zerofuku then enlarge his axe, slamming it down destroying the stone walls. And quickly emit manu shockwaves.
He saw Aang was gone.
"What?" He looks around before he looks up to see Aang flying in the sky.
"Take this, some water bending!" Aang summons a huge tidal wave from outside of the arena to attack Zerofuku.
"How can this child be able to fight Zerofuku like that?!" Ares said. "He's able to control water as if he was Poseidon."
"Hmmm, this child despite young reminds me of Buddha with the way he acts." Zeus looks at Aang.
Zerofuku coughs out water as Aang falls down.
"How can I not hurt you!" Zerofuku said.
"I'm the avatar, I trained a lot." Aang said.
Zerofuku uses more of his misery to make two swords as he slashes at Aang who dodges with ease before he summons fire to push him away.
Zerofuku then summons a hail of blades to rain down at Aang.
He got surprised before he jumps around with ease and uses earthbending to make walls to stop them before he grabs two blades.
Toph blinks before she smiles. "Well you got it."
Aang uses Metalbending to destroy the blades shocking Zerofuku.
"He destroyed his blades!" Loki said.
All of the nations cheered for Aang with the rest of humanity joining them.
Zerofuku looks at them. "Why… why!? Why won't anyone… look at me for once!?
Aang felt bad. "Hey Zerofuku, if you want someone to like you, you have to like yourself first."
"Like myself, what kind of crap is that?!" Zerofuku said.
"Well I like you." Aang smiles.
Zerofuku got stunned hearing those words.
"And Buddha thinks the same too." Aang said.
Zerofuku smiles. "Aah...I can't believe it...I'm happy. I'll try to believe again in what I wanted to do...in the people I wanted to make happy...and I'll try...to love myse--"
His horns stabbed him shocking everyone, two dragons came out of his holes making Aang shocked as he started to change.
Aang and Buddha watched it and saw a giant rise up from where Zerofuku was standing over Aang with long hair and horns.
"Divine retribution… cometh." It said in a dark and intimidating voice.
Watching from a screen was Beelzebub.
"Ooh, so this is what became of that… intriguing. A white light and black shadow's blending, the horns of the nether-world shall awaken, and eternal darkness be born… the berserker from the legends of the Netherworld… Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven, Hajun."
"What have you done to Zerofuku?!" Aang said.
"He's gone." Hajun answered. "He is nowhere to be found in this world. My name… is Hajun."
Goll was scared holding on to Brunhilde while Henry frowns.
"That startled me… old man… what's the deal with that thing?" Loki asked.
"I-Is that thing… really a God, Hermes!?" Ares asked his brother.
"I have no idea." Hermes answered.
"What!? Y…You don't know about it!?" Ares said.
Hades came. "That is no God."
"What do you mean, Hades? You said that thing isn't a God?" Zeus asked him.
"Calm yourself little brother. That… is the legendary berserker spoken of in Helheim since ancient times." Hades explained. "Across all mythologies is the common theme of three layered worlds, the world where Gods and the souls of the dead dwell… Valhalla, Heaven. The world where mortals and animals live… Midgard, Earth. And one more layer… known as Hell, The Demon World, and Ne-no-kun, The Land of Origins, and among other names… the world where unearthly things prowl… Netherworld, Helheim." The Greek God explained to his family. "In Helheim there goes a legend that goes as follows… "A white light and black shadow's blending, the horns of the nether-world shall awaken, and eternal darkness be born… the berserker from the legends of the Netherworld… Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven, Hajun."
"Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven, Hajun." Ares said in fright.
Aang's friends were worried for him but Aang was not scared.
"Looks like your not backing down too." Buddha said.
"Yeah." Aang said.
"Hmmm, it seems you don't fear me child. But that will change." Hajun said.
Hajun punches at Aang who summons many stone walls to block them but they break upon impact.
Hajun turns his hand into a axe to slash at Aang who ducks and flies up.
"Being able to fly won't save you!" Hajun jumps up.
He changed his right arm turning it into a blade doing the Heaven Piercing Demon Drill.
Aang got hit making him scream as blood comes out shocking everyone.
He falls down holding his chest, he uses waterbending to heal his wounds.
Katara was worried, since she had to teach Aang how to heal but it won't be much since he didn't master it.
"Good thing he can heal himself." Brunhilde said.
Aang sees Hajun come down making jump away to avoid another attack.
"And now it's time to destroy you." Hajun amputates his left arm surprising Aang.
He turns it into a sword and uses a technique called Blaze of Glory, he swings at Aang destroying his staff sending him flying away as he got hurt.
"Aang!" His people cried out to him.
Many prayed for the avatar to survive this, because he will die if he doesn't beat this monster.
Aang was in the Spirit world and sees the spirits of the other avatars.
"Aang it is not too late." They said.
"How?" Aang asked.
"Unleash your true power, show them the true strenght of the avatar to save the innocent."
Aang's eyes widen since he knows what they are saying.
Hajun goes to kill Aang before got pushed back by a shockwave. "What?!"
Everyone saw Aang get up and he was healed up, his his eyes and marking were glowing, as a orb surrounded him with all the elements, he was now in his avatar state.
Humanity was amazed and the nations cheered again.
The Gods were shocked at his power.
"What?! How can that brat have so much power?!" Loki said.
"He's this strong!" Hermes said.
Buddha smiles at Aang from inside. "You have found balance."
"He's super strong now!" Goll said.
"So this is the power of the avatar?" Brunhilde was amazed.
Hajun frowns and uses Blaze of Glory again but he sword got destroyed the moment he came close.
"Impossible!" He said.
"Hajun! You have hurt so many poeple and now I will make sure you never do that again!" Aang said.
He summons many elemental dragons as they attacked the demon making him scream in pain.
He summons many eart spikes stabbing Hajun making the demon roar in pain.
"Keep going Aang!" Sokka said.
"Beat him!" Toph said.
"Show them your true power!" Katara said.
Hajun gets up and saw Aang appear in front of him scaring the demon.
Aang grabs him by the throat. "Now release that innocent!"
Hajun screams as he was starting to become flesh and bones before someone comes out of him and to they're shock it was Zerofuku who was sent to the seats knocked out.
Beelzebub was in shock and dropped a cup making it break. How?
"What have you done to me?!" Hajun demanded.
"I took your powers!" Aang said.
He then blasted Hajun making him scream as he turns into dust, then all the remains he had were gone for good destroying the demon once and for all.
Aang falls down on his back and Buddha appears at his side. "Good job."
Aang smiles.
Heimdall was stunned. "The winner of the match is Aang of humanity!"
All of the humans cheered for him and the Gods were just too stunned to see the power that one boy had in him.
Note: Here's Aang vs Zerofuku/Hajun, Aang managed to save Zerofuku using the Avatar state, since Aang would rather save a life.
