Note: Didn't think that I would be releasing another chapter so soon, but here we are. But enough of that, let the tale continue!
Looking at the back of his grandpa, he noticed that he didn't have any chakra but something else. If Bell was to describe it, it looked kind of sparkly with an aura that seemed to be different colors, hugging his form like KCM.(Kurama Chakra Mode for people who didn't know what that means.)
Creating a clone, he looked at it to see if it had the same aura as him. It did, so he was not surprised. With nothing else to do, he dispelled the clone and entered his mind-scape to see a friend. Once inside, he saw the familiar large gate that held his inner demon.
On the opposite side of the gate was what can only be described as the avatar of Kurama. "Hey, Kurama whats going on?" Bell asked his companion wondering why he was in that state of matter. The only thing that he received in response was getting looked at. This confused Bell greatly because usually if he greeted the nine-tailed fox he always got something out him.
"Well, this sucks," Bell thought to himself as he exited his mind. "What the hell should I do now?" His eyes scanned the room, searching for something to distract him from his current predicament. They eventually landed on a small bookshelf. Taking a few steps forward, he grabbed one of the books, causing the strangest thing to happen. Bell began having flashbacks of his grandfather telling him stories about monsters, different races, heroes, gods/goddesses, a city called Orario, a dungeon, and most importantly, as his grandfather or his pervy sensei would say, women.
After the flash of memories ended, he had a small headache that quickly subsided. Collecting his thoughts, he now had somewhat of an idea about this world. The only thing he didn't find was any chakra, meaning it was hopeless to find a way back home. He could always try to come up with a space-time jutsu, but he didn't know where to start on that subject.
Wanting to get rid of those thoughts, Bell had another look around his new home. It wasn't all that big compared to his old house, but he could work with it. He spotted a small pair of shoes next to the door his grandpa must have left through, and could only think they were his, unless somebody else lived here. 'It won't hurt to try them on,' he thought to himself as he picked up one of the shoes.
"They fit perfectly, but I would prefer my sandals if anything." To Bell, wearing sandals felt way better any shoes but would have to wear them for the time being. That is until he gets to go shopping for some better clothing.(By the way Bell has on the clothes he has in canon.)
After testing the shoes for a while, he reached for the doorknob before stopping. Letting out a breath, he didn't realize he had been holding it. 'What could possibly go wrong,' he mumbled, gripping the knob and twisting it to enter the outside world that lay ahead.
Stepping outside his home, he was immediately greeted by the sunlight. Holding up his hand to block it, he allowed his eyes time to adjust to the light. Once able to see clearly, Bell closed his eyes and took a deep breath of the fresh air before exhaling slowly. Taking in his surroundings, it appeared as though his grandfather was a farmer of sorts, judging from the crops growing in the fields adjacent to the house.
The area where they lived seemed to be a small, poor village. Despite that, the townspeople seemed to be happy. Kids ran around, some vendors sold fruit and vegetables, and everything was peaceful overall. As he walked through the village, multiple people greeted him with waves of their hands or a "Hey, Bell!" Waving back to them, he was interrupted by bumping into someone, causing him to stumble back a bit.
Well if it isn't little old Bell Cranel. You should watch where you walk." The stranger said, making Bell look upwards towards the person he just bumped into. Looking up, his eye was met with hazel-colored eyes. "I'm sorry ma'am, I didn't see you in front of me." Bell apologized to the young-looking lady with orange-ish hair standing before him.
Giggling a little, she replied. "No need to apologize, Bell; I was coming to see how you were feeling." Blushing from embarrassment, Bell told her, "I'm doing fine, thanks for your concern. My grandpa said he almost had a heart attack because of that." He chuckled while scratching the back of his neck. "Speaking of which," the young mistress started up. "Where is your grandfather?" She asked, putting a hand on her chin. "Oh, he had walked out the house some time ago before I did," Bell stated, not knowing what business the lady had with his granddad. "Well, that's okay, Bell. I'll see you later, alright?" The lady said, putting a gentle smile on her face. Bell nodded his head as they moved past each other.
Continuing his stroll around the village for about an hour or two, Bell stopped next to a tree. Deciding to take a break, Bell walked up the tree and used one of its branches as a seat. When seated, he took a moment to go through his thoughts. He wondered how his original world was doing right now. He thought about the good times they'd had, the bad times, and even the weirdest times. It made him smile slightly because, even at his lowest, he still managed to come out on top.
These thoughts would have continued if there hadn't been a terrorizing scream that cut through the air. Looking in the direction of where the scream had come from, Bell saw some kids running from what seemed to be a goblin based on its appearance. 'Green skin, red glowing eyes, pointy ears, horns, and ugly as hell. Yup, that's a goblin alright.' Bell thought before getting out of the tree to save the kids.
At the back of the group of kids, one had tripped and was getting ready to be clawed alive by the goblin. Rushing towards the kids at speeds that should be impossible for someone his age, Bell had caught up to them just in time too. The moment the goblin was going for the kill it received a double palm strike in the chest, sending it flying backwards. "Hey kid, are you alright?" The kid heard, looking up to be greeted with a figure standing in front of them blocking out the sun.
To be continued...
