Hary, Key, Fred, and George follow Oliver.

"Flint!" Wood bellowed at the Slytherin Captain. "This is our practice time! We got up specially! You can clear off now!"

Marcus Flint was even larger than Wood. He had a look of trollish cunning on his face as he replied, "Plenty of room for all of us, Wood."

Angelina, Alicia, and Katie had come over, too. There were no girls on the Slytherin team, who stood shoulder to shoulder, facing the Gryffindors, leering to a man.

"But I booked the field!" said Wood, positively spitting with rage. "I booked it!"

"Ah," said Flint. "But I've got a specially signed note here from Professor Snape."

"I, Professor S. Snape, give the Slytherin team permission to practice today on the Quidditch field owing to the need to train their new Seeker."

"You've got a new Seeker?" said Wood, distracted. "Where?"

And from behind the six large figures before them came a seventh, smaller boy, smirking all over his pale, pointed face. It was Draco Malfoy.

"Malfoy!" Key reacted.

"Ah, Malfoy's son", said Fred, looking at Malfoy with dislike.

"Funny you should mention Draco's father," said Flint as the whole Slytherin team smiled still more broadly. "Let me show you the generous gift he's made to the Slytherin team."

All seven of them held out their broomsticks. Seven highly polished, brand new handles and seven sets of fine gold lettering spelling the words Nimbus Two Thousand and One gleamed under the Gryffindors' noses in the early morning sun.

"Very latest model. Only came out last month," said Flint carelessly, flicking a speck of dust from the end of his own. "I believe it outstrips the old Two Thousand series by a considerable amount. As for the old Cleansweeps"—he smiled nastily at Fred and George, who were both clutching Cleansweep Fives—"sweeps the board with them."

None of the Gryffindor team could think of anything to say for a moment. Malfoy was smirking so broadly his cold eyes were reduced to slits.

Key feels awkward since she is out of place since she doesn't fly with a broom so she doesn't feel anything except annoyed because now the Slytherins have an unfair advantage.

"Oh, look," said Flint. "A field invasion."

Ron, Hermione, Betty, and Devin were crossing the grass to see what was going on.

"I smell trouble, what is going on?" Betty wondered.

"And what's he doing here?" Ron looks at Malfoy, taking in his Slytherin Quidditch robes.

"I'm the new Slytherin Seeker, Weasley," said Malfoy, smugly. "Everyone's just been admiring the brooms my father's bought our team."

"Oh boy", Devin groaned.

Ron gaped, open mouthed, at the seven superb broomsticks in front of him.

"Good, aren't they?" said Malfoy smoothly. "But perhaps the Gryffindor team will be able to raise some gold and get new brooms, too. You could raffle off those Cleansweep Fives; I expect a museum would bid for them." The Slytherin team howled with laughter.

"At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in," said Hermione sharply. "They got in on pure talent."

"Good one, Hermione", Betty laughed.

Key and Devin laughed at Hermione's remark as well.

The smug look on Malfoy's face flickered.

"No one asked for your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood," Malfoy insults Hermione.

Most of the Gryffindors except Harry and Key are shocked as they hear Malfoy insult Hermione.

Seeing Gryffindor's reaction, Key's eyes glow and says "Now, you have done it, Malfoy".

"Key, wait", Harry reacted.

Key releases lightning and blasts Malfoy.

"I don't care who you think you are, nobody insults my friends", Key claimed, as she was glowing.

Colin takes a picture of Key.

"Back off, Gryffindor", said Flint, holding his wand out with other Slytherins supporting him.

Key stops glowing all of the sudden, and nearly falls.

"Oh my gosh, Key, are you okay?" Betty and Harry reacted.

"I don't know", said Key, looking weak.

"We should take her somewhere to rest", replied Devin.

"Good idea", said Betty.

The Slytherins look relieved and laugh at what happened to Key.

The Gryffindors surround Key.

"I told you that spell would have consequences", Devin reacted.

Everybody looks at Devin.

"What spell?" Harry asks Devin.

"A memory spell, it seems it has weakened her", said Devin.

"Why would you do that? Memory spells are very risky", Hermione replied.

"I thought it wouldn't be that bad", Devin admitted. "Plus I checked what effects it could have on faes, it's not that bad".

Betty and Devin help Key up and Harry, Ron, and Hermione go to Abigail's.

Abigail is with Hagrid and enjoying tea.

Abigail and Hagrid looked worried and brought Key inside the hut.

Key is put on the couch.

"What happened?" Abigail asks everybody, looking worried.

"Well, you see I helped Key erase a memory from her mind, she was fine until she attacked Malfoy because he insulted Hermione", Devin explained.

"Memory spell, you should've let me know that this faes may not be strongly affected by spells, but it still has some kind of effect. I'm just glad, she only fainted", Abigail freaked out.

"But, why did she attack Malfoy?" Hagrid wondered.

"Well, well", Betty stammered.

"It must've been bad because everybody reacted shocked", said Harry.

"It was bad, he called her a mudblood", said Ron, looking very upset.

"He did not!" Hagrid and Abigail growled.

"He did," Hermione replied. "But I don't know what it means. I could tell it was really rude, of course—"

"It's about the most insulting thing he could think of," Ron told everybody, "Mudblood's a really foul name for someone who is Muggle-born—you know, non magic parents. There are some wizards—like Malfoy's family—who think they're better than everyone else because they're what people call pure blood."

"That sounds like the most ridiculous and horrible thing I have heard, to think that people think that small minded", Betty reacted.

"I completely agree", said Devin.

Key wakes up with her eyes glowing white from the couch.

Abigail hugs Hermione and says "Don't let this affect you because you are a smart and a wonderful witch".

"Thank you", said Hermione.

"Yeah, and who cares what Malfoy thinks, I mean he isn't special no matter how many times he keeps acting like it", Betty stands by Hermione.

"It's a disgusting thing to call someone," said Ron, wiping his sweaty brow with a shaking hand. "Dirty blood, see. Common blood. It's ridiculous. Most wizards these days are half-blood anyway. If we hadn't married Muggles we'd've died out."

"Key, are you okay?" Harry asks Key.

"Yeah, and before you ask, no I don't remember what Devin erased from my memory", Key told Harry.

"Key, promise me that you will never use a memory spell ever again because something worse could've happened to you", replied Abigail.

"I agree, that was very risky, and Devin no more memory spells, understand", said Abigail.

"I promise, I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to my friends because of me, I'm sorry, Key", Devin promises.

"It's not your fault, it's mine because I asked you to use that spell, never again will I ask you to do anything like that", Key insisted. "There's nothing to worry about Harry".

Key gets up, looks at Harry, and says "Tell me you won't worry about that memory, it's gone and won't come into play until the future like all my visions".

"Fine, I will let it go, but I know it probably has to do with me, which is why you couldn't tell me", Harry figured

"You probably are right, but it's over", said Key.

"Enough of that, relax, and drink some healing tea", said Abigail, as she gives Key the tea.

"Thank you", said Key.

Abigail hugs Key.
