The Samurai Mutants

Akira and Yukio, two female Japanese mutants who fall in love, combine their strengths against the forces of evil. With help from their fellow mutants, Wolverine and Laura Kinney and Jubilee, they take the fight to Shingen and his criminal organization to save Mariko from a forced marriage, even as enemies from their pasts and an entire criminal island stand in their way.

3. Chapter 3

Encounters with old rivals

Akira, while surprised that she was going to battle her old friend and brother in arms, had long anticipated this for years since she knew he wouldn't be happy at 1st glance at how they parted ways. "Kikyo. Don't tell me you've sold your sword to that bastard Shingen."

And after Kikyo got close to her and their blades clashed, the male samurai spoke. "Well, you always told me to go and find my place in this world, and so I did." He said as he noticed how much she'd changed in the last 6 years. "You've changed so much in the past few years. You've grown quite the reputation in Japan, and even other parts of the world."

"Yes, I have changed, Kikyo." Akira said before she pushed him back while delivering a slash to his arms that healed after a few seconds. "But I've still kept up my training."

"Indeed you have, Akira. Your skills are as honed as ever." Kikyo said with a smile. "Still, I've looked forward to this. I've often wondered which of us our master would be most proud of. And now, at last, we'll find the answer."

The 2 samurai mutants rushed to each other and clashed blades, blocking and parrying each other's slashes as Yukio watched her beloved fight against her old friend. "I knew things were quiet around here. Still, I never expected my precious Akira to fight Kikyo this soon. But she always told me this day might come."

And as the samurai mutants continued to block each other's slashes, Akira jumped back when Kikyo tried to slash her chest before she reverse-gripped her sword, jumped behind him and tried to slash his back but he easily blocked it before they actually managed to slash each other's faces, leaving scars that instantly healed before they jumped back. "That was very fun, Akira. And, as I expected, we're still completely even."

"I've long known that this day would come, Kikyo. I just never imagined that it'd be with you working for the man I've been after for years, or working with Kitty cat over there." Akira said while seeing Sabertooth fighting against Logan, Laura and Jubilee.

Kikyo looked at Sabertooth and growled. "Believe me, Akira, it disgusts me to work with that animal. The only reason I do is because Shingen was the 1 who broke him out of the prison he was sent to and hired him along with me. I would have said no, but when he mentioned that another mutant like myself and the legendary Wolverine were my targets, I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity for us to meet again. And I'm quite pleased with the results, even if working with Creed is the price that comes with it."

Akira knew what that meant. "So it was Shingen who released that animal. Must have been an insurance policy in case you failed. But know this: if it turns out you've gone down a dark path, or keep getting in the way of my end goal, I will take that head you offered up to me before I left. Understand?"

"Indeed, Akira." Kikyo answered before their fight continued.

Meanwhile, Logan and Creed were fighting each other, with Laura and Jubilee helping him as the eternal rivals ran towards each other and got into a claw lock. "How not nice to see ya, Creed."

Laura flipped behind Creed and began using her claws to slash his back multiple times, forcing Creed back before he turned around grabbing Laura's arm and throwing her into Logan, but allowing Jubilee to jump in front of him and kick him back with her vampire strength, which caused him to fly into a wall that cracked on impact. "You should've stayed in whatever prison they threw you in, Creed!"

Sabertooth recovered as his back healed and he blocked a claw swipe from Jubilee. "Sorry, dike, but you, the Runt's DNA spawn and especially him know that it takes a lot more than being thrown in a prison to stop me!"

And when Sabertooth kneed her in the face and picked her up by her wrists, Laura and Logan ran in opposite directions and jumped to Creed before stabbing their claws into his ribs, forcing him to let go of Jubilee before she slashed his face with her own claws, allowing Logan and Laura to punch him hard in his abdomen before smashing his face in, forcing him on the ground before Jubilee jumped up and brought her foot down on his head!

"What's the matter, Creed, can't take all 3 of us at once? I wonder what the problem is? Did the beating Akira give you a few years back damage your animal brain?" Jubilee asked with a smirk.

But Sabertooth, angry, shoved Jubilee off him and pounced on her while elbowing Logan back and swiping Laura away from him before getting Jubilee up and squeezing her in his arms. "Oh, I'm gonna rip those fangs outta your mouth and use them for toothpicks when I'm done with you!"

But Jubilee, with 1 eye closed, began to headbutt Sabertooth hard in his face 8 times, fracturing his skull and breaking his nose before he finally let go of her, allowing Jubilee to hack and slash him repeatedly before jamming her claws into his chest and twisting his insides until she pulled them out, making blood spray out of him as Laura and Logan began slashing his body all over until the 2 clawed mutants picked him up and threw him into a car.

"Sorry, Creed, but no 1 hurts my Jubilee and walks away! Especially not you!" Laura said before rushing at Sabertooth as he recovered and began to easily perry and block her claws with his own until she went down and used her foot claws to slash and stab his stomach in a fast spin attack before she got to her feet, flipping behind him and stabbing her hand claws into his back!

But Sabertooth jumped back into a building and smashed himself and Laura into it, causing her to let go of him before she swapped her away from him. He then grabbed the car he was thrown into and threw it on Laura before jumping on it when it landed upside down until Logan lodged on him from his front and got him off his clone/daughter, allowing Jubilee to get the car off her girlfriend and they continued to fight with Logan against Creed, with the more animalistic mutant moving up on the roof, making them follow him.

Meanwhile, Kikyo pushed Akira back from another blade lock and began running, with the female mutant samurai easily keeping up. "Still as fast as ever, Akira." He said before he tried slashing Akira, only for her to block it and try to stab Kikyo in the chest, only for him to jump up as she stabbed into a building. "Afraid of heights now, Akira?"

Akira jumped up after him. "I fear nothing, Kikyo, you of all people should know that!" She said before she got to him, perrying another of his slashes as she got on the deck before their swords clashed again. "And if you've truly heard of my reputation across Japan, you know that I've never let a contract slip through my fingers!"

"Indeed. With the exception of Daiki. The infant trafficker. I heard that the agency took that contract from you before you could fulfill it. But, Asano compensated you for that, did he not?" Kikyo asked with a smirk.

"He did." Akira answered while Kikyo blocked 1 of her slashes that was aimed at his head. "In exchange for dealing with Kitty cat, he offered me the payment I was promised for Daiki's head! But at least he honored his part and I was paid my due for his capture or death, the latter of which I preferred and would have had if the agency and M.R.D hadn't come along and interfered before I could finally kill him!"

Kikyo chuckled before jumping to the roof. "Perhaps. But at the very least, Daiki is dead, and his trafficking is over for good. I heard that the agency froze all of his assets and a couple of weeks later, you found and killed any successor next in line for his vile business. So, some good came of it after all." He said before he concentrated his energy into his blade and slashed, creating a razor wind attack that Akira blocked with some effort and slashed away.

"Never forget, Kikyo, Tanba taught us those attacks and how to block and counter them." Akira told him while creating a wind attack of her own that spinned near Kikyo but he jumped to the left to avoid it as Yukio, who'd caught up to them, watched.

"Ah, you've gotten creative. Very clever, Akira." Kikyo complemented.

"Indeed. I've learned many things in the past 6 years, and I think you'll be very surprised." Akira said with a smirk.

"And she managed to gain something else in that time, Kikyo: me, and my loyalty, my heart, body and soul." Yukio said while walking up to them.

Kikyo looked at Yukio, sensing something about her. "Ah, I see. You and Akira are both…in love and have…given yourselves to each other. And, with another like us, no doubt."

Yukio drew out her right sword and said. "Indeed." Before sheathing it. "But should you defeat my dear Akira, you'll be fighting me next."

"It will be a pleasure." Kikyo said before a dark smile.

"In the meantime, Kikyo, you're mine!" Akira said while rushing to her old friend and continuing their fight.

Yukio looked at the battle between Logan, Laura and Jubilee fighting evenly against Sabertooth. "You guys sure you can handle that animal? He's been quite the challenge for you 3. Or should I come over there and cut his head off for you?"

"No way! Creed's ours!" Logan told her while running towards Sabertooth.

Akira and Kikyo continued their clash of blades until he pulled her sword left, jumped up and kicked her down to the next building but not while she managed to pull him down with a slash before she fell through a window where 2 women were talking about Stark, scaring them as 1 of them dropped her coffee. "You may want to run. This isn't the best place for anyone right now." She told them before they did just that.

But that was when Logan and Laura, followed by Jubilee, were thrown into the building by Sabertooth, who spinned Jubilee around into them by her right ankle when she tried to kick him off the roof before throwing her to them. "Fuck! I hate that fuckin' asshole!" Jubilee complained.

"No shit, baby." Laura agreed with her girlfriend.

Kikyo managed to swing himself to a duct as he hung on the building with his sword before Logan looked at the mark he made beside him, seeing that it was the same size as Asano's stab wound. 'That sword.' He thought. 'No way Shingen's assassin just happens to be here.' Before saying out loud. "It was you! You killed Asano!" While bringing out his claws in a X form.

'If it was him, why the hell would he work with Creed? He thinks way too much like an old samurai to wanna work with someone like Creed.' Laura thought, not seeing why a samurai like him would work with an animal like Creed.

But Akira had her own doubts about Kikyo being the 1 who killed Asano, as it would not be like him to do something so trivial. 'There's no way Kikyo would just kill someone unless he was told to, and I doubt Asano would be worth his time, as any of Shingen's brainless fools could do it. It had to be someone else.'

"You murdering son of a bitch!" Logan yelled out. "When I get my hands on you, we'll find a new place for that sword of yours!"

But that was when the local cops arrived and 1 of them called out through a megaphone. "We have the building surrounded! Come down now or we'll shoot!"

But as they aimed their guns at them, 1 of Yukio's Chakrams flew close to them, making them back off as the weapon flew around them and back to her before she drew her right sword and slashed, creating a razor wind attack that sliced through their shields, causing them to fall on their backs while she sheathed her sword and put her Chakram away with a warning glare.

But that only made the SWAT commander order the others. "Alert headquarters! We can't let them get away! Tell them to mobilize a chopper and get some K-9 units over here now!"

"Yes sir!" Another officer said.

Akira, Yukio, Logan, Laura and Jubilee knew they couldn't stay here. "Let's go." Akira said before looking at Kikyo. "We'll finish this later, Kikyo." He told her old friend before she, Yukio and the other 3 clawed mutants jumped to the ground and began to flee the area.

Sabertooth jumped to the ground and began to chase after them, but Kikyo stopped him by putting his sword in front of him. "What are you doing, Mikage?! Let's just chase after 'em and finish the job!"

"No, animal! We will fight them again at a proper time. Besides, it was agreed that I was the 1 who makes the decisions between the 2 of us." Kikyo told him before walking into an alley, thinking to himself. 'Akira is as strong as I remember. She's truly taken our master's training and lessons to heart. Excellent. Soon enough, we'll finally find out which of us is truly the best. And if what I've heard about Logan is true, he must be just as challenging. I'll find that out, after I'm done with Akira and her lover.'

Sabertooth, who reluctantly followed Kikyo to avoid getting captured again, was thinking his own private thoughts. 'So the Runt's joined forces with the little Rat, huh? Good. I get to kill 'em both when I see them again, as well as Wolverine's DNA spawn and her bloodsucking little dike.'

Meanwhile

As Akira, Logan and their unlikely group ran from the area, the clawed mutant vowed. "That samurai wannabe is dead meat!"

"Easy, Logan, don't jump to the conclusion that Kikyo was the 1 who killed your friend. Believe me, I know him. He wouldn't waste his time doing something so trivial." Akira told him.

"Yeah, and how well do you think you know him, Akira? You've been away from him for a few years, right? People can change a lot in that time!" Logan countered.

"Then why's he working with that animal?" Yukio asked. "Kikyo's way too much of a samurai to work with someone like Creed."

"Shingen hired him, along with Creed, but he's only working with him to get to me. Kikyo's wanted to see me again ever since I left and, even if working with Kitty cat is the price, he couldn't pass it up." Akira answered.

"Then Shingen's in for disappointment. Creed betrays everyone he meets, and he'll for damn sure do the same thing to him too." Logan said, knowing more about Creed than anyone else.

"Damn right he will." Jubilee said before asking Akira. "So, Akira. You and that Kikyo guy: what's the beef he has with you?"

"None of your business, Jubilee." Akira warned her. "My past with him is no concern of yours."

"Figured you'd say that." Laura said to her new ally. "But come on, why not humor your new teammates?"

"Temporary allies, X-23, not teammates." Akira told her Yukio and I work alone and on our terms, not yours, not the X-Men's and not those imbecile Avengers!"

Meanwhile, with Mariko

The daughter of Shingen was still sitting in her room as she heard Kurohagi talking on the phone. "They let him get away again? And he has his DNA freak daughter and her dike bloodsucking whore with him? Well, it doesn't really matter, does it? Matsuo has informed me that AIM is making arrangements to take care of our little Romeo, his freak clone and bloodsucking whore for good. I'll deal with the shipment tonight. Personally. Oh, and that about the 1 who won't play ball with us? Tell him if he doesn't, we'll pay a little visit to his little girl." He said before breaking contact and coming into the room. "Your dowry is coming in from Madripoor by ship tonight. Once it arrives, there's no turning back and we'll finally be married. And I bet I know just what's going on in that pretty little head of yours." Then he touched her shoulder. "Don't worry, my love. Once those abominations of nature have been eliminated, nothing will keep us apart." He said with evil before leaving the room.

'Logan. Laura. Jubilee. I wish to heaven that I could find some way to save you all. I love you all. You, Logan, are everything I've ever wanted in a husband. And Laura and Jubilee are everything I've ever wanted in daughters.' Mariko thought with sadness for Logan, Laura and Jubilee.

Meanwhile, back at Akira and Yukio's safehouse

"Asano was different. He didn't treat me or Laura like we were mutant freaks. And despite what Jubilee is, he never treated her like a bloodsucking parasite that should be dead and buried." Logan said with sadness for his friend's death.

"Damn right." Laura agreed. "He trusted us. Even liked us. And we trusted him because we operated in the same crazy, fucked up world."

"He gave life everything he had. There aren't many people out there we can trust outside of other mutants, but he damn sure was 1 of them." Jubilee added before looking at Akira and Yukio. "Did…you guys know him as well as us?"

Akira sipped her coffee and answered. "We…weren't exactly friends. I operated alone before I met Yukio and while I had talks with him, they were just brief. But…it was because of him that Yukio and I met at all and…while I never told him, I thank him for that. I…just wish I had thanked him when he was still here."

"But despite that my Akira barely tolerated him, he never treated her badly or never talked about her badly. I guess, in his mind, he knew that my Akira…thought of him as 1 human she could trust and would have eventually accepted as a friend." Yukio added as she embraced her lover.

"I believe you." Logan said. "He'll pay. Shingen will pay for what he did to Asano."

"You 3 just worry about getting back your precious Mariko, Wolverine." Yukio told him. "But Shingen dies by our blades. Kill Kurohagi and Kitty cat if you want, but Shingen is all ours."

"And what about Kikyo, Akira?" Jubilee asked. "Should he keep getting in the way, are you prepared to kill him too despite your history?"

"Should it come to that, yes. I am prepared for that outcome." Akira said before getting out Asano's mobile device and bringing up a shipment arriving tonight at the docks. "But in the meantime, we'll focus on destroying this shipment arriving tonight. It contains a Japanese wedding dowry, along with drugs."

Laura took a look and said while cracking her knuckles. "I say we burn the entire thing and kill any of Shingen's thugs there, and if Kurohagi will be there, I'll hold him while my Jubilee drains him fuckin' dry."

"Ooohh…my pleasure." Jubilee said with eagerness.

"And after Kurohagi's dead, there's no 1 to stop me from getting back Mariko." Logan said with a smirk. "You guys can have Shingen, if he'll be there too."

"Good." Akira accepted. "We strike tonight."

"The cops will more than likely be there too. Tigers in front, wolves at our backs." Yukio said with a grin. "Let's do it."

Later on, at night

At Shingen's compound, as Kurohagi was riding in his car to pick up the shipment, the agents that were with Asano the night before were watching from their van. "They're leaving the compound now. Alert our squad already in position at the docks." 1 of the agents said.

"You got it. And we'll avenge Asano by taking down these Yakuza scum." The other agent vowed.

A bit later, at the docks

As the ship with the dowry and drugs docked, Kurohagi's cars got there and the slimy crime boss ordered. "Have the men load the cases in the cars."

"Yes sir." The goon said before telling the others. "Load up."

But before they could do anything, flaming bottles of alcohol flew on the ship and set everything on fire, greatly surprising everything. "Someone get the fire extinguisher!"

"What now?" Kurohagi asked before getting out of his car while more battles were thrown on the ship…by Logan, Laura and Jubilee, while Yukio and Akira lit up the bottles with lighters and gave them to their fellow mutants to throw as the goons desperately tried to put the fire out.

While this was happening, the nearby cops were ready to move. "All right. Make sure none of these dirtbags escape. Let's do it!" The lead agent said before they moved in. L

"Stay sharp, everyone, these guys are dangerous." The female agent told everyone.

"Come on! Hurry up, Damn it and let's get outta here!" Kurohagi ordered his goons, hearing the sirens.

"We gotta split up. Locate the drugs and find Wolverine, X-23 and Jubilee!" The lead agent ordered his squad.

Kurohagi heard that as well. "Are those bastards here?" He asked before he got mad. "They would be the ones behind this." Before he looked up at the roof and saw them. "What're they doing? They can't ruin this. Not this time. I won't let you freaks ruin this! Do you hear me, freaks?!"

"Hey, you slimy little cockroach! This time, you're the 1 who's getting taken by surprise." Laura yelled out.

"This isn't fair. I don't deserve this." Kurohagi said out loud.

"Oh yeah?" Jubilee asked, having heard what he just said thanks to her vampire hearing. "Baby, let's get that asshole!"

"Fuckin' A." Laura said before they both ran and jumped to the docks, landing without any injury at all while drawing out their claws.

"It's them! It's that mutant and the vampire!" A goon said.

"Laura and Jubilee? What the hell?" The lead agent asked with surprise.

As the goons shot Laura and Jubilee with their guns, the daughter of Wolverine and her vampire girlfriend growled as the bullets came out of them and they healed instantly. "RRRAAHHHH!" They roared before rushing at the goons and slicing them all up with their claws.

"What the hell are they doing? They're gonna get us all killed." The female agent said with dread.

Kurohagi got back in his car and told the driver. "Get me out of here now!" But as the car moved, it suddenly stopped, much to his confusion before he saw Laura and Jubilee in front of it. "Those abominations!" He said before he got out of the car and tried to escape by foot.

But as he pulled his gun, Jubilee used her superior speed to swipe it out of his hand as Laura jumped behind him, grabbed his wrists and twisted them behind his back. "You're not going anywhere, except straight to Hell, cockroach."

Kurohagi, like the cowardly cockroach he was, tried to negotiate with them. "Wait…wait. If this is…about me and Mariko… You can tell Logan that…we could share her."

But Laura growled while putting her right hand claws close to the back of his neck. "That's the very last time you'll ever say her name!"

"Yeah." Jubilee said while bringing out her fangs, ready to drain Kurohagi completely dry. "And for what you did to Logan and for what you may have done to Mariko, both in the past year, and in the future, you can kiss your ass goodbye!"

This made Kurohagi completely afraid for his miserable and pathetic life…before 2 metal tentacles came out of the fire and wrapped themselves around Laura and Jubilee, forcing them away from the whimpering Kurohagi!

"What the hell?!" Logan asked with shock, along with Akira and Yukio.

As the tentacles lifted Laura and Jubilee into the air, they growled as the felt a very familiar sensation from them and saw their owner emerge from the fire, speaking with a Russian accent, revealing none other than the killer mutant, Arkady Gregorivich Rossovich, aka Omega Red. "An eternity it has been, X-23 and Jubilee! I think you'd both agree."

Laura and Jubilee growled with anger at seeing their old nemesis. "Not long enough, Omega Red!"

"How the fuck are you even here, Ruski fuckballs?!" Jubilee asked with hate for the former serial killer, turned into an even worse monster.

"I have survived no thanks to the 2 of you, little girl." Omega Red answered. "Omega Red is here to see you suffer for what you have done. To crush your bones for what you both do to me! X-23! Jubilee, prepare for extermination! To be shattered! ALL YOU BOTH WILL FEEL FROM NOW ON IS PAIN!" He vowed before squeezing them with his tentacles.

"AAAAAAHH! AAAAAAHH!" Laura and Jubilee both yelled as they felt the squeeze of his tentacles, as well as their life being drained because of them despite their healing factors.

Akira and Yukio saw this and the long haired mutant samurai asked Logan. "An enemy from their past, I presume?"

"Arkady Gregorivich Rossovich, aka Omega Red. But Laura and Jubilee told me he died 8 years ago." Logan answered.

"Apparently, either they neglected to make sure of it, or the old Soviet Union, or A.I.M revived him somehow." Yukio theorized before she and Akira threw 2 more flaming bottles on the ship.

And while the goons desperately tried to put out the fire, Kurohagi ordered them. "Quick! Save that dowry!" Before putting his hands on his head in fear and desperation.

Omega Red dragged Laura and Jubilee around and against a car with his tentacles, hurting them more until he let go when he let go of them, making the car nearly hit the female agent. "Cordon off the area! X-23 and Jubilee are fighting what appears to be some kind of mutant monster!"

As Laura and Jubilee got to their feet, Omega Red walked up to another car and kicked it upside down. "Don't worry, little thieves, I not kill you yet. Not until you beg me for mercy!" He said with sadistic delight.

And when he kicked the car at them, Laura sliced it in half with her claws as Jubilee jumped to him and tried to claw the monster's body, only for his right tentacle to easily perry the slash before Laura jumped in front of him and kicked him a few inches away from them and landed beside her girlfriend.

Laura pointed her left claws at her and her Jubilee's old enemy, vowing. "This time you're gonna stay dead, Rossovich."

"And we'll make damn sure that nobody can revive your cold-blooded ass when we slice you to pieces!" Jubilee added after her girlfriend while pointing her right index claw at him.

Omega Red growled at that. "YOU'RE BOTH WROOOOONG!"

Flashback, 8 years ago

Laura and Jubilee, due to Logan being unavailable at the time, were called in by a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent for a black ops mission that required Wolverine's experience and powers. And with Wolverine himself being unavailable due to being on a mission of his own with the X-Men, Laura and Jubilee were the next best thing.

The agent showed them a slideshow of their main target, which was someone S.H.I.E.L.D had wanted dead for some time, and was telling them about him, as well as how to kill him without using their claws. "Arkady Gregorivich Rossovich was an infamous serial killer whose blood ran colder than the Siberian winters. In a land full of atrocities, he was regarded as Russia's most notorious and prolific psychopath. During his attempted arrest, he was gunned down. And like many monsters, the KGB found a use for him. They immediately revived him and implanted experimental, radioactive Carbonadium tentacles in him. He became the prototype for the Soviet Super Soldier project. His codename is Omega Red."

"What's the deal with this Carbonadium? Is it some kind of new and improved version of adamantium?" Jubilee asked while eyeing the Carbonadium tentacles, taking a drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke, as she and Laura, due to the extreme stress of their respective horrible pasts, had taken up smoking as stress relief for it.

"No, it isn't. But it's similar to it."

"How'd a metal like that get made in the 1st place?" Laura asked, taking a drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke from her nose.

"Soviet scientists were attempting to produce a substance that could equal the indestructible qualities of adamantium. The result was carbonadium. And as you 2 see, retractable tentacles made of it were grafted into Omega Red's arms. An unintentional side effect afforded his mutant death spore a wider range, allowing his implants to literally drain the life from his victims." He explained.

"Fuck. If he's got that ability and those tentacles are as strong and durable as our claws, how're we gonna kill him and prevent the modern Soviets from making more of that carbonadium shit?" Laura asked with her cigarette between her lips.

"Well, fortunately, Omega Red's the only 1 of his mind of experimental Super Soldier. And, if you do this right, you won't have to kill him. The carbonadium in him will eventually do that for you."

"What? How?" Jubilee asked with a raised eyebrow, taking a drag from her cigarette and blowing out the smoke.

"Now we get to the main part of the matter: because of its radioactive nature, there's a stabilizing protocol necessary for carbonadium. It's absolutely essential that a synthesizer be administered to those who've had carbonadium implanted in their bodies. Without the synthesizer, the carbonadium quickly starts to deteriorate, causing the subject intense physical pain and mental instability. So, your mission is to steal the synthesizer and bring it back to S.H.I.E.L.D. I can't say enough the importance of getting it. Possessing it will allow us to stop the modern Soviet agenda of creating more Omega Reds."

"And if we can't get that damn device?" Jubilee asked.

"Do whatever you need to do to bring that synthesizer to S.H.I.E.L.D! There's only 1 synthesizer left, so if it's destroyed, no 1 on Earth will be able to make another one and Omega Red will eventually die from his implants."

Laura and Jubilee understood that, but secretly planned on destroying the synthesizer, as they didn't trust S.H.I.E.L.D or anyone else to do any better with it then the modern Soviets. "When do we leave?" They asked while putting out their cigarettes.

"Immediately." The agent said.

2 days later, in Russia

Laura and Jubilee had successfully infiltrated the modern Soviet facility where the synthesizer was kept and thanks to the Intel provided by S.H.I.E.L.D, quickly found it. "Looks like this is it, baby."

"Yeah. Let's hurry and get it outta here so we can throw that damn thing under the nearest glacier somewhere." Jubilee said while taking the synthesizer, causing the alarm to trigger and go off. "Damn it!"

"No doubt they're already activating their secret weapon. Let's just try to get outta here before he gets to us." Laura said with urgency before they began to head back to the entrance, being careful to avoid any guards along the way until they eventually saw some of them, who Laura sliced up! with her claws to shield her Jubilee against the gunfire despite her having a healing factor herself.

But eventually, they ran right into Omega Red himself, who growled at seeing them before he saw the synthesizer in Jubilee's arms. "Rrrahh!" He roared as he retracted his left tentacle, aiming for Jubilee but clashing with Laura's right claws instead. "You will be giving me back that canister now, little girls!"

"Not gonna happen, you Russian cocksucker! Fuck you!" Laura said defiantly as she jumped back.

But Omega Red retracted both tentacles and wrapped them around both girls' wrists and tried to drain their lives out of them. "If you don't give, then I take!"

"Ahhh. Seems you really can suck the life outta whoever you fight. Just different from how I do it!" Jubilee said while showing her fangs before they began fighting.

Their fight eventually led outside in the blizzard, where Omega Red tried to get the synthesizer back, but felt the radioactive implants begin to burn him from the inside, causing him very intense physical pain as he held his head. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Jubilee smirked. "You feel it now, don't ya? The metal in you starting to burn your fucked up body from the inside. Good. It's no more than a monster like you deserves!"

"Oh, but this is nothing compared to the agony that Hell will have in store for you!" Laura added after her girlfriend.

This only made Omega Red angry before he tried to grab them with his tentacles, only for them to swipe them away before the ground cracked beneath their feet and they fell into the glacier before they used their claws to stop themselves from falling any further.

"LITTLE THIEVES!" Omega Red, who was close to the cracked glacier, shouted out before large amounts of snow came down on the 2 lovers, forcing the synthesizer to fall out of Jubilee's arm and into the glacier with the falling snow, leaving it lost forever and stopping the Soviet Super Soldier project for good! "NOOOOOOOOO!"

Flashback end

As Omega Red tried to swipe them with his tentacles, Laura and Jubilee swiped them away with their claws, only for him to wrap them around their ankles and swung them into a car, breaking its passenger door in the process. Laura grabbed it and tried throwing it at the Russian mutant but he deflected it away with his right tentacle, making it nearly hit Logan in the process!

Omega Red wrapped his tentacles around their midsections and slammed them on the flaming boat. "Maybe I have you both for barbeque, eh? How do little wolverine and vampire taste medium rare? For long time I wait to rip flesh from your bones and use claws as toothpicks!"

"Damn. Laura and Jubilee aren't healing as fast as they should." Yukio said with concern.

"It must be because of those tentacles." Akira concluded calmly.

"It is. They told me that bastard has the ability to literally suck the life outta whoever he fights. Those tentacles are really zapping their healing factors." Logan confirmed while remembering what Laura and Jubilee told him about Omega Red and his deadly ability.

As Omega Red stepped forward to see his old enemies, he said with delight. "Go on. Beg me. Let all the pain out. Compared to what I had to endure, this is nothing! NOTHING!"

Laura and Jubilee, despite the pain of Omega Red's deadly tentacles, saw a door with smoke going inside it, quickly nodding before kicking it open and making more fire come out of it, causing a big explosion that killed the goons still on it and also making Omega Red move his tentacles around and allowing Jubilee and Laura the opportunity to get to him and try to claw him, forcing him to block them before he let go of them as they jumped a few feet away from him.

Jubilee and Laura stood up while breathing in the air. "Nothing like some fresh air." Laura said.

"Yeah. Really hits the spot." Jubilee added with a grin while Omega Red growled at them.

"Fuck. At this rate, Laura and Jubilee are gonna be at it with that Russian relic all night." Yukio said with a bit of frustration.

"Perhaps. But the dowry is more than likely burned up by now." Logan said with a satisfied grin.

"That won't stop Shingen or Kurohagi. With or without that damn dowry, they will do whatever it takes to get what they want." Akira said with a glare, knowing people like Shingen and Kurohagi all too well. "Still, this is Laura and Jubilee's battle. They started it long ago and they must finish it."

Laura smirked. "You deserved what we gave you last time we met, asswipe. And ain't anything changed since."

"Damn right. You should've just accepted your fate and died from radioactive poison in your fucked body." Jubilee added after her girlfriend.

Omega Red got away at hearing that. "Shut your mouths!" He yelled before he tried to hit them with his tentacles but they jumped on them and tried to slash him but he quickly grabbed both ends of his tentacles and blocked their claws. "Big talk for clone of little badger with overgrown claws and parasitic leech with overgrown claws and fangs." Before he retracted his tentacles and pushed them into a wall hard, stunning them. And when they got back up, Laura tried to use her foot claws to stab his eyes, but he quickly blocked them and Jubilee, hitting them to the ground with his tentacles before wrapping them around their wrists. "Now, X-23 and Jubilee, is time you both have taste of overwhelming power only I possess!"

"You're the 1 who's gonna be doing the tasting, Ruski fuckballs!" Jubilee countered.

"And we're damn sure that you die this time, Rossovich! I swear it!" Laura added before she and Jubilee ran straight at him, much to his surprise before they tackled him into the warehouse!

Meanwhile, as the suitcases were burning up, the goons desperately still tried to put out the flames before the female agent called out. "Hey, guys, I got something for ya!" Before knocking them out and getting at least 2 of the cases. "We got what we need to finally bust Shingen." She said with a smile.

Meanwhile, at Shingen's compound

As Mariko,who was sleeping in her room, heard footsteps, she got up and saw 2 people go to where her evil father was. "Sir, we have to relay some unfortunate news: Logan, his clone, X-23 and Jubilee were at the docks and ambushed us. They firebombed the ship with the delivery."

"Sir, the dowry, it was lost. It burned up in the fire. Then this mutant calling himself Omega Red showed up and attacked X-23 and Jubilee. That's when we left." The other goon reported before getting out his phone. "I got the whole thing on my cell phone."

But Shingen, in calm anger, swung his sword around, creating a razor wind slash that his goons ducked to avoid before it hit the door. "Logan." He said with calm fury.

Meanwhile, back at the docks

As Omega Red was tackled into a warehouse full of crates by Laura and Jubilee, Logan, Akira and Yukio followed them inside, seeing the Russian mutant was roping his left tentacle around. "When you both steal damn synthesizer, you plunge me into living Hell! Every day, more pain!" He said with anger before he tried hitting them, only for them to jump up and lodge at him but he blocked them and sent them back before retracting both tentacles at them, breaking the floor in the process before they rushed at him and got into a blade/tentacle lock. "My body burns from inside without synthesizer! You must give it back now!"

"That damn thing is under a fucking glacier, Ruski fuckballs!" Jubilee told him.

"No! You both have synthesizer! I know you do! A.I.M. said so!" Omega Red said, having believed that Laura and Jubilee still had the 1 thing that could keep him alive, when in reality, it was a lie that he convinced himself was true.

He then pushed them back and grabbed 2 crates with his tentacles before throwing them at Laura and Jubilee, only for them to easily slice them apart with their claws before they jumped at him but he blocked them again and shoved them in opposite directions and into crates that sent propane tanks falling down. They tried to avoid another attack, only for him to grab them by the ankles again and slam them down, making more tanks fall before he did it again!

Laura and Jubilee looked up and saw Akira, Yukio and Logan standing on a crate. "Need any help, you 2? Cause this damn Soviet relic is giving you a run for your money."

"This battle is their own, Logan. Don't interfere." Akira told him, still strongly believing in the old samurai way of a warrior finishing a battle without anyone's interference.

"And, I'm pretty sure that you 2 feel the same way, right, X-23 and Jubilee?" Yukio asked with a smirk.

"Damn right! He's ours!" Jubilee answered.

"Hahahahahahaha. Dumb move, little girls. But it work out perfectly for me." Omega Red said with an evil grin. "I will rip adamantium claws out from your hands! See how you grow them back after I eat you both raw!"

Laura and Jubilee grabbed a propane tank with their claws, having an idea to finally end this. "No thanks, Ruski fuckballs! Catch!" Jubilee said before she and Laura threw the tanks at Omega Red as he retracted his tentacles, stabbing through them but causing another big explosion in the process!

And a few minutes later, the 4 mutants and the female vampire, who had gotten out of the warehouse, were fleeing the area through an alley as the daughter of Wolverine and her vampire girlfriend dropped to 1 knee in exhaustion. "Fuck!" Laura cursed.

"Damn. That Ruski fuckballs really did us in good." Jubilee added.

"We'll give you a moment but we must keep moving, you 2." Akira told them.

"Yeah, we know." Laura said before catching her breath and standing up, helping her girlfriend do the same. "And don't ever call me X-23. That's not who I am anymore!"

"So you say…X-23." Yukio said before they kept moving away from the area.

But they were unknowingly being watched by Kurohagi and 1 of his goons. "Well, go on." He told his goon, who did just that, following the mutants and female vampire.

The next mourning

After getting back to Akira and Yukio's safehouse, Laura offered Jubilee her blood to help her recover from the fighting with Omega Red after her healing factor fully recovered. And after 5 minutes of sucking up Laura's blood, Jubilee's wounds fully healed before she separated from her girlfriend's neck. "Thanks, baby."

"Always." Laura said before giving her girlfriend a passionate kiss.

"I guess it's true what you told me about that Russian bastard, huh, girls?" Logan asked.

"Damn right, unfortunately." Laura and Jubilee said before going to the window and opening it before Jubilee got out her pack, pulled out a cigarette and lit up with her lighter before blowing out the smoke and passing it to Laura.

Laura took a drag from their shared cigarette before blowing out the smoke. "Damn, I really needed that."

But Akira and Yukio were disgusted with them for taking up that nasty habit. "Well, seems you took up 1 of Logan's bad habits." Akira said.

"Shut it, Akira!" Laura said while passing the cigarette to Jubilee, who took a drag before inhaling and blowing out the smoke from her nose.

"Girl needs something for stress relief. Plus, healing factors, remember? The effects of cigarettes don't hurt us." Jubilee reminded them.

"Oh please, there are other ways to deal with stress that don't involve those disgusting things." Akira said with annoyance. "You'd never see us doing those things, healing factors or not."

"Damn right. I know you are Wolverine's daughter, but you could have at least done a little better than him by not doing substance abuse." Yukio added after her girlfriend.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I told them when I 1st found out, but they're both as stubborn as I am." Logan said with a smirk. "Don't worry, I won't be smoking anything now. Or ever. I quit years ago."

"And we'll follow that example. When we save Mariko and bring her home." Laura said as Jubilee passed the cigarette to her girlfriend, letting her take a drag from it and blowing out the smoke.

"Deal. Until then, never do that in our safehouse. Understand?" Akira told them.

"Yeah, yeah, don't worry." Jubilee said while waving her hand.

But then, they saw something holding a mobile bomb. "Oh shit!" Yukio said before the goon threw the bomb in the safehouse, blowing it up!

When the goon thought he'd got the job done, he began running down the fire escape when Logan, Laura and Jubilee jumped in front of him. "You're not very good at what you do, are you?" Logan asked.

"And to top it off, you interrupted me and my girl's smoke break." Laura said while drawing out her right claws.

"We get very pissed off when someone does that!" Jubilee added while drawing out her left claws.

And when the goon tried to shoot them, Yukio and Akira cut his hand off with their left/right swords. "And you just blew up our safehouse, which makes us very pissed off too."

"You couldn't kill time, let alone us. Guess Kurohagi hired you." Yukio guessed with a grin.

When the goon tried running again, Laura and Jubilee jumped in front of him while swiping their claws, making him mock them for missing him. "Ha! You missed!"

But Laura and Jubilee smirked before the stairs he was on came apart, making him fall all the way to the ground, on the verge of dying because of the nasty fall.

"If we ever wanna get our deposit back, we'll have to bill Kurohagi for this." Yukio said to her precious Akira.

"That'll just be just 1 more thing we take away from him, baby." Akira said before looking at her other mutant and vampire allies. "Looks like we'll have to find another safehouse.

"We don't need 1. They wanna try to hit us when we least expect it, we'll do the same thing to them." Logan said.

"Yeah. Tonight we strike and slash 'em to pieces in their sleep." Laura said with eagerness.

"Together this time." Jubilee added.

"Normally, that's not my style. But after this, so be it." Akira accepted.

But that was when the area shock and Omega Red, more disfigured because of the burns he suffered, burst out of the wall near Laura and Jubilee before he grabbed them by the neck. "X-23. Jubilee. This time you will not escape me."

"How the hell did he find us?!" Yukio asked with surprise.

Laura and Jubilee growled as they drew their claws. "So, Ruski fuckballs, you wanna do this again, huh?!"

"You're both dead!" Omega Red said before he swiped Logan into Akira and Yukio, stunning them.

"Logan! Akira! Yukio!" Laura said with worry as she and Jubilee tried to help them, only for Omega Red to retract his tentacles and wrap them tightly in them, beginning to drain their life forces again.

"HA! My death spores make tracking you both down easy! Now I will drain lives out of you!" Omega Red vowed as he began slamming Laura and Jubilee against the walls and rail. "I will make you both suffer for what you did! I pound you till you turn to bloody pulp! You are looking surprised, my old enemies! Hahahahahahaha! Hahahahahahaha!"

"Laura. Jubilee." Logan said with worry for his daughter figures.

Omega Red wrapped more of his tentacles around Laura and Jubilee's necks, squeezing tightly. "Finally, it is time for you to die! Rest in pieces! Hahahahahahaha!"

But Laura saw a piece of glass and kicked it towards Omega Red, getting him distracted by it and allowing them to jump on him and make him fall to the ground, with the 2 girlfriends trading blows with him as they went, kicking him hard before they tried using their claws to slow themselves down, only for Omega Red to grab them by their necks with his tentacles, bringing them to him before they landed on the ground! Omega Red threw them off him before they began running, getting grabbed by their left/right wrists before they burst out of the alleyway and into a crowded area, making the civilians flee at the sight.

"Look at that, Ruski fuckballs, you're disturbing the peace!" Jubilee said with a glare.

"I will rip out your foul mouthed tongue, vampire!" Omega Red said, angrier at her nickname for him.

"Oh, now you've really pissed me off!" Laura added with anger. And as Omega Red started to pull them, with the lovers fighting back, they noticed that the regulator device on his chest was going from green to red. "Sounds like your engine's going on the fritz, asshole!"

This caused Omega Red to lift them up and slam them into the alleyway before he rushed at them and landed a knee to Jubilee's face, and a punch to Laura before he wrapped his tentacles around their necks and picked them up by their heads. "Hahahahahahaha!" He laughed before Jubilee and Laura landed a very hard team kick to his ribs a few times, forcing him to let go of them as his device continued to run low.

"That toaster on your chest ain't lookin' so hot, Ruski asshole." Laura told him. "Get this through your radioactive head: your time is up. The Cold War's long since over. And right now, you're about to go with it!"

"SHUT UP!" Omega Red yelled out.

"Fuck you, Ruski fuckballs!" Jubilee said, using her claws to stab into his arms. "Ruski! Fuckballs! Ruski! Fuckballs! RUSKI! FUCKBALLS!" She yelled out before slicing off his right arm with her claws!

And as Omega Red, angry at losing his arm, tried to strike Jubilee again with his remaining tentacle, Laura performed a jump spin and sliced his regulator device to pieces with her right claws, making his body go limp before they moved out of the way as he fell to the ground as Laura and Jubilee removed the tentacles from them and dropped them on his head.

Logan, Akira and Yukio came up to them and their father figure smiled. "Well, guess you finally got rid of him for good."

"That's 1 less thing we have to worry about." Yukio said with satisfaction.

"Damn right. And another monster wiped from the face of the planet." Akira added with a smile. "You both did very well. I'm very impressed."

"Thanks." Laura said with a reluctant smile at the mutant samurai.

"This wasn't a total waste of time. Cause now we're all warned up to take on that monster Shingen, that cockroach Kurohagi and their fuckin' thugs." Jubilee added with an eager grin.

"Well, let's go then." Logan said before walking with his daughter figures and the samurai mutants.

But then, Kurohagi's goon grabbed his ankle, getting their attention. "If you're all trying to reach Shingen and Kurohagi, don't bother."

"What?" Akira asked with a raised eyebrow.

"They're long gone, and they took Mariko with them." He answered with delight before dying, making Logan and the others start to run, with Logan getting out a device that he could contact the other X-Men with as the cops arrived at the area shortly after.

Meanwhile

As Shingen's private jet was taking off, Mariko was thinking to herself with sadness. 'What have I done? Why didn't Logan listen to me?'

Meanwhile, with Asano's agents

They were driving to Shingen's compound to arrest him while listening to a report about Laura and Jubilee's fight with Omega Red. "1st Asano, now this. We gotta stop this guy."

"We'll get to him. But Shingen is the top priority. We've proven his ship was being used for drug trafficking, so let's just keep our focus on the main target." The agent driving the van said.

"He's right. The case is airtight." The female agent agreed.

Meanwhile, at the alleyway

As the cops and civilians were investigating the area, a cloaked A.I.M. aircraft turned visible as a retrieval platform went down in front of Omega Red's body. "Subject is still not moving."

"Physical damage appears extensive. Get him up." An A.I.M operative told the others before they did just that, putting Omega Red on the platform before it went up. "Alert the medical team to prepare the operating room."

"X-23. Jubilee." Omega Red said weakly, still alive by a thread.

Back with Logan, Akira and the others

The mutant group had gotten to Shingen's compound, with Logan going 1st and knocking out and slashing a few guards as he went, calling out. "Mariko! Mariko, where are you?" Before he got inside and began looking around the house, finding no 1.

"We're too late." Yukio said while she and the others came up to him. "That goon was right. There's no sign of Shingen, Kurohagi or Mariko."

But Akira sensed a familiar presence and so did Logan. "No. Someone is here, baby. 2 someone's in fact." She said before going left, sliding opened the doors to reveal Kikyo and Sabertooth, both sitting in the next room.

Kikyo, with his back turned, smiled. "Akira."

"Kikyo." Akira greeted calmly. "I see you and Kitty cat have been waiting for us, correct?"

Creed growled and stood up while turning. "Watch it, rat."

Meanwhile

In a secret A.I.M. base, a medical team was working to revive Omega Red. "He can't handle much more of this treatment."

"This regulator device is not as refined as the synthesizer. It's a quick fix, but it wasn't meant to last."

"A.I.M. didn't track Logan and his clone and that vampire all the way from New York to let it end like this. We've got to revive him."

"Well, we'll get him to operational capacity. And when the job's done, he can be discarded."

Back at Shingen's compound

"Those you seek are not here." Kikyo informed them.

"Where are they?" Laura asked.

"Not your problem, DNA spawn, cause today, you're all gonna die." Creed said with eagerness to fight Wolverine again, and kill Laura and Jubilee.

"Real funny, Creed, considering what we did to you last time." Jubilee said with a smirk.

Akira told Yukio. "Baby?"

"Yes, I know. This is between you and him." Yukio said with a bit of disappointment.

"Actually, I was going to say that this time, we could do it together." Akira said with a smile while drawing her right sword. "That is…if you don't mind, Kikyo."

"Actually, no. I've been eager to see what she can do." Kikyo said while drawing his own sword. "After all, you trained her to master her blades, did you not?"

"Indeed." Akira answered.

"Ready to die, runts?" Creed asked with an eager grin while extending his claws.

"Are you, Creed?" Logan answered while he, Laura and Jubilee drew their own claws.

"But 1st, Kikyo, we've got a question for you." Jubilee said to the male samurai mutant.

"Go on, Ms Jubilee." Kikyo said calmly.

"Agent Asano. Did you kill him?" Laura asked.

"Please, X-23, I'd never waste my time on such a trivial deed. But I'm sure that Akira told you that already, has she not?"

"Hahaha. If you wanna know who killed your little friend, runts…" Sabertooth said before pointing his thumb at himself. "Here I am."

"So you killed Asano and framed Kikyo for it, right, Kitty cat?" Akira guessed.

Sabertooth grinned. "Skilled…and smart, rat. Why do you care? It's not like you and him were friends."

"No, but he was ours." Logan said with a growl.

"Aw, too bad, runt, he should've picked his friends more carefully." Sabertooth grinned with no remorse.

"RRRAHH!" Laura and Jubilee roared before they jumped to Creed and tackled him outside, with Logan following them as the cops were beginning to arrive.

Kikyo, drawing his other sword, as he would be fighting 2 exceptional opponents, stood up before Yukio drew her left sword and they began to fight, being quite evenly matched with each other despite it being 2 against 1 as the 3 mutant samurais slashed each other, with Kikyo landing Akira's face and Yukio's right midsection, and them his arms before they instantly healed.

"Healing factors really come in handy, don't they?" Yukio asked. "I'm guessing your memory is just like my Akira's, right?"

"Unfortunately, that's true. Like Akira, my memory is fractured, but we've always known that we are mutants." Kikyo answered. "But I guess you still have not regained the memory of those 2 women Shingen had killed in the past, correct, Akira?"

"Unfortunately, I still haven't. But whether or not I eventually do, after Shingen's dead, it won't matter anymore, as at least they'll be avenged." Akira answered before they resumed their fight.

Kikyo ran as Akira followed before leaping diving and twisting in front of him before jumping to him, making them clash blades before Yukio back flipped towards him and landed on her toes before swinging her blade at his right leg but he reversed gripped his other sword and blocked her before flipping back and bringing up a piece of the floor and throwing it at Akira, only for her to easily slash it before he threw more at both of them, only for them to easily slash them all before they jump flipped over to him and tried to slash him again, only for him to block and pushed them outside before they jumped back to dodge a slash from him.

Meanwhile, the cops had arrived and the lead agent told the officers while seeing the knocked out thugs. "Arrest every 1 of them! And find Shingen!"

"Yes sir!" An officer said as he and the others began to do just that.

The agent then saw Logan, Laura and Jubilee fighting Sabertooth before seeing Akira, Yukio and Kikyo fighting each other as well before Logan began running from the area, followed by Jubilee, Laura, Akira, Yukio and their respective rivals. "Whoa, it's a whole group of mutants today."

The mutants and female vampire fled the area, using the tree branches and roof to their advantage before Logan led them to the 2 towered building and they began going all the way up to the roof, with Logan, Laura and Jubilee using their claws to climb while Sabertooth did the same thing, while the mutant samurais just jumped to the top before the rivals clashed again before landing on the roof with helicopter pads.

"After all these years, it is still fun to fight with you, Akira, especially now that we use our real blades." Kikyo complimented while smiling.

"So glad you aren't disappointed, Kikyo." Akira said with a smirk.

"Too bad they can't say the same thing for that animal." Yukio said with a glare at Sabertooth.

"Damn right." Laura and Jubilee said together.

"Always never is fun to fight against you, Creed." Logan agreed.

"Why, runt? Cause I'm the living embodiment of everything you fight every day? You should be embracing your nature. And maybe, just maybe, we could have some real fun!" Creed growled before rushing at them, clashing claw and fang with them while the mutant samurais clashed blades.

Meanwhile, back at Shingen's compound

As the cops were continuing to arrest Shingen's thugs, the female agent informed her comrades. "I just got some bad news from HQ. Shingen was spotted at the airport boarding his private jet. By all accounts, he's already on his way to Madripoor."

"We should have known. And we don't have jurisdiction there. Now what the hell are we gonna do?" The male agent asked with frustration.

That was when the other male agent's phone rang and he answered. "Takagi." Before the M.E told him of Asano's autopsy. "Thank you. They just completed Asano's autopsy. The results have come in. There's no doubt that the stab wound was what killed him, but they found something interesting between his teeth."

"Well, what is it? What did they find?"

"Bizarre. A strand of someone's hair." Takagi answered with surprise. "Gotta be from the killer. It must've gotten there during the scuffle."

"It's Logan, or Laura, Jubilee, or Akira or Yukio. Can they confirm?"

"No, the hair's…blonde." Takagi answered, making the other agents surprised. "Yes. Send us a full report right away."

"Logan, Laura and Jubilee were friends with Asano for a long time. And despite Akira not being that way with him, she at least somewhat trusted him."

"There's only 1 mutant we know of with blonde hair, and we just saw him flee." The female agent said seriously.

"Yeah. It was Sabertooth. He killed Asano. More than likely for revenge for sending Akira after him a few years back." Takagi said.

Back with the mutants

As Akira and Yukio dodged 1 of Kikyo's razor wind attacks, with Akira and Yukio countering with a team spinning razor wind attack of their own, making him dodge as well, Logan, Laura and Jubilee were clawing at Sabertooth before they successfully slashed his heels, got him to the edge of the roof and allowing Akira to attack Creed with another razor wind slash, cutting his chest open and sending him falling off the roof and all the way to the ground below.

"That's 1 minor annoyance disposed of for now." Kikyo said with a small smile.

"Yes. Now, we can finish our duel." Akira said with eagerness.

But that was when the roof entrance exploded and a revived Omega Red, with a new arm, as well as 2 regulator devices attached to his body, revealed himself. "X-23. Jubilee." He said while walking beside Kikyo.

"Again?! Can you just stay fuckin' dead, Ruski fuckballs?!" Jubilee asked with annoyance.

"I come to kill you both. And nobody stop Omega Red." Omega Red answered obsessively.

"Just fucking great!" Laura said with frustration.

Omega Red looked at Kikyo and told him. "Back off. I work for A.I.M. just like Kuzuryu. Do not interfere."

"My fight is with my fellow mutant samurais. But for the honor of my master, I will postpone it for now and let you settle your business 1st." Kikyo said with reluctance but went along with it due to his code of honor.

"Smart move, girly boy." Omega Red said mockingly.

"They fixed your body, Ruski fuckballs, but your mind's still as fucked up as ever." Jubilee said with a glare.

"You're dead, Rossovich. We've already killed you and you just don't realize it yet." Laura added after her girlfriend.

"Oh, I'm very much alive. It is you 2 who are dead. All your big talk give big headache." Omega Red countered, making Laura and Jubilee scoff at him.

Kikyo said to Akira and Yukio while retracting his swords. "Destiny assures we will battle uninterrupted, Akira."

"Indeed, Kikyo." Akira said while retracting her own sword as Yukio did the same.

"Grab a ringside seat. This should be fun." Yukio said with a smirk.

"Ha. He is so gonna lose." Logan said with a grin.

"X-23! Jubilee! Now you are both to die." Omega Red said.

"Other way around, Ruski fuckballs!" Jubilee countered.

"SHUT UP!" The Russian mutant said before he retracted his tentacles around the mutant clone and her vampire girlfriend, stabbing them with the radioactive implants while dragging them across the roof before Laura and Jubilee threw a big piece of the roof on the tentacles, trapping him and allowing them to run in them before they used their claws to slice up both the regulator devices before they landed while trying to catch their breath.

"I seriously hope that's the last time we ever fight him." Laura said with frustration.

"Damn right. Ruski fuckballs, pain in our asses." Jubilee added before Omega Red fell, completely dead now. "At least he's finally dead now."

Akira looked at Kikyo and asked him. "So, Kikyo, want to finish the battle, or would you prefer to wait for a much better time."

Kikyo thought for a moment before answering while walking away. "I've waited 6 years to match our skills, Akira. I can wait a little longer. To fight you and Yukio now with so many interruptions lacks style."

"Haha. Good to know. And…be sure to check on your animal of a partner while you're at it." Yukio said with a smile.

That was when the X-Men aircraft, the Blackbird, hovered over the roof, with Cyclops and Jean Grey in it. "Hey, guys!"

"Looks like our ride's here." Logan said with a smirk.
