Chapter 3

"Robby, is that really you," Daniel said shocked.

Robby nods "Yeah it's me, are you really that shocked," he walks towards the coffee table and pours himself a cup of tea. "Well last time you guys saw me I was 16. 17. I mean it might be pretty strange to see me here huh."

"Yeah, I mean seeing you all grown up and all, it's just" Daniel was hesitant in his words, he was in shock of seeing his former student all grown up.

"What? You thought I'd look like him," Robby gestures to Johnny "Yeah no, luckily I managed to figure who I am before I turned 30," Johnny was silent, his adult son's words stung.

"So, what the hell are you doing here," Gates questioned harshly.

"Gates," Laura glared.

"What," Gates shrugged.

"Wow. You're as harsh as always," Robby smirks as he eats a tea snack.

"Sorry, Mr. Keene you know how Gates is, he's just wondering why are you here, and how'd you know what was going on," Harrison asks.

"Hmm," Robby shrugs, he places his tea down "Well for starters," he goes to Daniel and takes a picture of him "I was working on a case" he takes a photo of Johnny "And I felt some kind of disturbance," he takes a photo of Miguel "Like something was interfering with the Rider Worlds," he lastly takes of photo Sam, he looks at her and gives her a small smile, which made Sam blush a little "Now this one will turn out nicely,"

"So you're saying you felt something went wrong with the timeline," Laura asks. "And you came here,"

"You got that right Sis. But, didn't expect shit like this to happen," Robby signs "Past versions of my Dad, Mr. Larusso, Sam, and Miguel. Well ain't that a hoot,"

"So Mr. Keene, what do you suppose we do," Harrison asks.

"We'll send them back of course, but we need to know why they were sent here first," Robby answers.

"Well we know they got here through a Dimensional Curtain," Harrison tells Robby.

"A Dimensional Curtain huh, interesting," Robby says.

"So what are your thoughts brother," Laura asks him.

"Well pulling four specific people that I know personally seems kind of fishy," Robby states.

"That's true, if it was random then it will be quite the coincidence that the people brought here are ones you know personally," Woz said.

Robby nods "Exactly its strange,"

"So you think they're targeting you," Laura asks.

Robby shrugs "Who knows, it's a possibility. I mean I have a lot of enemies, it's kind of annoying. More than likely it might be those Time Jacker friends of yours."

"Time Jackers? You said that earlier, who are they?" Sam asked.

"Group of rogue time travelers that want to destroy the world," Harrison explained.

"Forget about that for a second, Robby what do you mean me and Carmen die," Johnny questioned.

Robby paused for a few seconds but he continued to sip his tea "Sorry old man, can't tell you that," he says bluntly.

"What," Johnny was shocked.

"I can't tell you, and if I do it's going to cause a time paradox," Robby bites a piece of his tea cookie.

"Why the hell not!" Johnny shouted.

"Um, I just told you the time paradox," Robby signed.

"I don't give a fuck about that nerd shit tell me what happens to me and Carmen," Johnny demanded.

Robby signs "Seriously, you cannot be this stupid. Listen I can't say how you and Ms. Diaz die"

"Why the fuck not," Johnny questions.

"Because of a time paradox, you know "Back to the Future,"" Robby explains. "You know you change one thing it changes everything,"

"You're saying if you tell Johnny about how he and Carmen died then," Daniel was interrupted.

"Then the entire timeline will be at risk," Woz finishes "Besides the timeline is already at risk with Laura already telling you that you will die," Laura turns his head away, ignoring Woz's words.

"I don't give a shit about that, tell me what happens," Johnny demands. Robby was silent and gave a stone cold look, refusing to answer. "Robby I know you, hate me but please tell me how to save Carmen,"

"You can't," Robby bluntly tells him, Johnny was stunned by his son's coldness.

"Come on why are you being such a fucking asshole," Miguel confronted.

"I am not being an asshole, I'm using my head. If the timeline changes then it could have catastrophic consequences," Robby explains.

"Bullshit," Miguel glared "You're not telling him because you hate him and me,"

The others just stared at Miguel when he made that declaration.

Robby signs, he didn't seem fazed by Miguel's harsh words."Is that what you think Diaz,"

"Yeah, you hate me and your dad for no reason," Miguel declared "So you wouldn't give shit that he and my mom die,"

Robby smirks "Is that so,"

"Yeah," Miguel glares "now tell me what happens or I kick your ass,"

"Wow, really" Robby smirks.

"Yeah," Miguel glares, Robby wasn't fazed by Miguel's attempt at intimidating him.

"Then try it, Champ," Robby says in a mocking tone. Miguel throws a punch but Robby easily dodges and slams Miguel to the floor.

"Miguel," Daniel shouted, he kneeled down and helped the young student up.

Miguel stood back up, he got back into a fighting stance, and he started to throw more punches at Robby, who easily dodged each one.

"Is this seriously all you can do," Robby mocked as kept dodging Miguel's strikes.

"Shut up," Miguel continued to attack him but he kept missing.

"Miguel, stop," Sam shouted.

"Come on, don't fight here," Harrison tried to calm the two down.

"Stop it you two," Laura shouted.

"Miguel, Robby stop," Daniel tried to step but Miguel pushed him away.

Miguel threw another but this time Robby caught it and Miguel was shocked. Robby signs in disappointment "pathetic" Robby then twists Miguel's arms and holds his arm out restraining him.

"Alright that's enough you two," Laura confronts her brother. Robby shrugs, he lets go of Miguel and shoves him to Daniel.

"Robby, what do you suppose we do about them," Laura asks him.

"Like I said it's important to send them back and find out why they were sent here," Robby tells her "You said it was a Dimensional Curtain that brought them here,"

Laura nods "Yeah that's how they described it,"

Robby turns to Daniel and the others, "Did what brought you here look like this," he snaps his fingers and a Dimensional Curtain appears on the wall shocking them.

"Holy shit," Miguel jumped.

"What the hell," Daniel was shocked.

Sam was stunned "How did you do that,"

Robby signs "I'll explain later, did what brought you guys here look like that,"

Daniel nods "Yeah that's what we saw before we got here,"

"Hmm, I see," Robby strokes his chin and the curtain vanished "That narrows down a list, it's rare that these things appear randomly,"

"So someone did send them here," Harrison asks.

"Yeah, most likely. There aren't many who can open the curtains," Robby said "One of them being me, and some friends I know. And there's also…wait" Robby began to get lost in thought. "It Couldn't be him?" he says under his breath.

"Robby," Sam called out.

"What?" Robby looks up.

"Did you think of someone that could be behind this," Laura asks him.

"Well there is someone that comes to mind," Robby answers "But…"

"But what?" Daniel asks.

"Is there a problem," Sam wonders. "Who is this person,"

"Well, Me and Kite can open and travel through Dimensional Curtains, there were others too, but I don't think it's possible," Robby tells her.

"What makes you think that," Gates asked.

"Because those people are dead," Robby answers, "There is no probable way they are responsible, unless he's involved,"

"Who?" Daniel asked.

"Someone who's always been a pain my ass," Robby tells them "But finding him is too difficult, and predicting his next move is even harder,"

"So what do you propose we do brother?" Laura asks him.

"Can't you just send them back yourself," Gates asks Robby.

Robby nods "Yes, but we need to know who sent them here and why first. Because if I send them back now who's to say the one who sent them here in the first place will bring them back,"

"That's a good point, this person may need them for something," Woz nods "Could it perhaps," his gaze falls upon Sam.

"Maybe," Robby interrupts, "we'll figure it out later. It's getting late" he then turns to Sam and her group "You all must be tired, I know today has been…exhausting I like to say, and you all need some rest after getting so many bombshells,"

"Thank you," Daniel said "But where would we stay,"

"Definitely not here it's too small," Robby points out looking around the room.

"So where then?" Sam asks. Robby looks at Laura and smiles.

"Oh yeah, you guys can stay with me," Laura speaks up.

"Are you sure," Daniel asks.

Laura nods "Yeah, my place is pretty big despite it just being me and Yaya staying there,"

"Yaya," Miguel stood up surprised and relieved, hearing his grandmother was still alive. Johnny also signed in relief, hearing that Rosa was still alive as well.

Laura nods "Yeah she took care of me and when Mom and Dad died,"

"Hmm," Robby smirks "Come on let's get going," he then snaps his fingers and another Dimensional Curtain appears.

"Woah," the group jumped. Robby flicked his wrist and the curtain passed through him, Laura, Daniel, Sam, Miguel and Johnny.

"So cool," Harrison smiles.

Gates signs "I hate it when he does that,"

The group passed through the dimensional curtain, and to the shock of the group of the past they were on an open lawn in front of a large house.

"Woah, what the hell," Miguel shouted.

"That was even weirder than the first time," Johnny stumbled.

"Where'd you learn to do that," Daniel asks.

Robby and Laura look at each, not surprised as this was the group's first experience with the portals.

"Where are we now?" Sam asks them.

"Home," Laura answers.

"You live here," Miguel says in awe at the large house.

"Woah, it's bigger than our house," Sam looks at Daniel and nods.

"Damn," Johnny said, seeing the large house.

"Come on let's go inside," Robby walks up to the front door, and opens it with Laura and the others following.

"Yaya, I'm home," Laura called. "Robby's with me, and we have company,"

"Oh, Laura welcome home," Rosa walks out of the kitchen, once she walks out she froze at who she saw.

"Yaya," Miguel says shocked, his grandmother looked the same as she did 16 years ago only this time a couple more wrinkles and gray hair.

"Hey, Rosa," Johnny waved.

"Hello, Ms. Diaz," Sam waved.

"It's nice to see you," Daniel greeted.

Rosa walks up to Johnny and Miguel and gave them a soft smile "Miggy look at you," she held her grandson's cheek "I forgot how adorable you were,"

"Yaya," Miguel smiles.

Rosa then turns to Johnny "oh it's been so long, I almost forgot how handsome you were,"

Johnny smiles "It's good to see you Rosa, I guess you know what's going on,"

Rosa nods "both Robby and Laura sent me a text explaining the situation but I still can't believe it myself,"

"Yeah, it's pretty hard to believe," Robby signs.

Rosa smiles "Robby, as handsome as ever I see,"

Robby smiles "Thank you Rosa,"

"Samantha you're as beautiful as always," Rosa compliments, and Sam smiles. "Daniel it's good to see you,"

"It's good to see you Rosa," Daniel smiles.

"Rosa, they're going to stay here for a while if that's alright, at least until we know why they're here before we send them back," Robby explains.

"Why of course," Rosa accepts happily "they're family afterall,"

"Thank you Rosa," Robby smiles.

Rosa then walks over and hugs Laura "how are you darling,"

"I'm fine Yaya," Laura hugs her.

"That's good," Rosa caresses her cheek. "Dinner is almost ready, come sit," Rosa guides the others to the dining room. "You all must be hungry," The group from the past looked at each other and agreed that they needed something to eat after the mass of bombshells that they were given, they followed behind Rosa, Robby and Laura

"Robby, will your wife and daughter be joining us," Rosa asked.

"No, sorry I left home in a hurry." Robby quickly answers.

"Woah you're married," Miguel stopped in his tracks, shocked. "And you have a daughter,"

"What?" Both Daniel and Johnny stopped.

"You're married, '' Sam said, shocked with a hint of jealousy.

Robby stops and signs "Wow, you guys sound shocked, that hurts,"

"No, it's just quite another shocker we got," Sam explains. "I mean you're married and have a kid."

Robby signs "Figures, but yeah I'm married and I have a daughter,"

"Wow, congratulations Robby," Daniel congratulated his former student.

Robby's eyes narrowed "Yeah thanks,"

The group walked into the dinning room, and sat down at the dinner table as Rosa brought out the food.

"Thank you," everyone said as Rosa gave each one of them a plate of food.

As the group ate their food there was an awkward silence between everyone. The group of the past were just taking quick glances at the future group. Sam in particular was taking quick glances at the adult Robby, she doesn't know why but she feels something that is drawing her towards him.

"So Robby what do you do now," Sam awkwardly asked, trying to break the awkward silence.

Robby looks at her, "I work as a freelance photographer,"

"Oh that sounds fun," Sam said.

Robby nods "Yeah. the job involves me traveling a lot, so I'm not home as often as I like, but I seen my family as much as I can, and spend as much time with them as they want, I don't want them to have issues growing up," he looks at Johnny during the last comment, and Johnny just looks down in guilt.

"He takes such wonderful photos, almost all the family photos here he took himself," Rosa smiles. "And his daughter Alpina such a sweet little girl,"

"Alpina, your daughter," Daniel asks.

Robby nods "Yeah, my daughter. Is there a problem,"

"No…it's just that.." Daniel stammered.

"It's fine, you're all still pretty shocked, but yes my daughter's name is Alpina and she's only 6 years old," Robby ate his food.

"Alpina," Sam smiles "That's a beautiful name,"

"Thanks," Robby responded with a small smile.

The dinner continued in awkward silence, with Sam taking a few glances at Robby. The behavior was not unnoticed by Robby, but he ignored it. Sam once again decided to speak up once again.

"Um, Robby you mentioned that there are other Kamen Riders right," Sam asked.

Robby nods "Yeah, a shit ton of them. Why do you ask?"

"Do you know a Kamen Rider Decade," Sam asks."He was a rider Harrison mentioned,"

Robby paused, as did Laura. "Yeah I know him", he sipped. Why?"

"I'm just curious about it, that's all," Sam answered.

Robby looks at her, and he realizes something "she's having them this early," he signs, deciding to answer "Decade is the denizen of all Riders. The Destroyer of Worlds,"

"Destroyer of Worlds," Sam and the others were shocked.

"Well that's what the rumors say," Robby said, "Let's leave at that for now," he stood up "I need to get going. Thank you for the meal Rosa, and take care Laura,"

"Brother," Laura was about to stop him, but Robby summoned another Aurora Curtain and walked through it.

"Um, does he do that alot," Sam asks, and Laura and Rosa nodded.

After finishing dinner, Rosa and Laura guided Sam and the others to the guest rooms. They were also offered some clothes, Rosa kept a box of Miguel's and Johnny's old clothes, the latter of which Daniel and Johnny have to share for now. As for Sam she was given some of Laura's clothes luckily they were about the same size. Sam looked around at the room she was given, it was a simple and elegant style bedroom, it reminded of her own bedroom. Her thoughts went to those of the older Robby.

"He's so different now," Sam thought of both the past and future of Robby. "I guess a lot can change in 16 years," adding to his maturity and appearance changing that was obvious but it was the look in his eyes. There was no longer anger and hate in his eyes when she saw him, they were different, calm,caring and empathetic but he was still rather cold and blunt.

Her mind then went to that of her vision of earlier, "Decade" she said to herself, she feels that Laura, and Robby know something about it but they won't tell her, but she understands why they won't she's seen time-travel movies she knows the rules, but her curiosity is getting the better of her.

Sam signs, she couldn't sleep, so she decided to go down and get a glass of water. Sam walked down the stairs, she was amazed at how huge and beautiful the house, not only that it was completely clean. Sam finds it hard to believe that only two people live here, she looked around and saw the wall decorated beautifully with photos and wall decorations.

"He takes such beautiful photos," Sam smiles, seeing the photographs that Robby had taken according to Rosa.

CREAK

Sam heard a creaking sound making her jump in surprise. "What was that?" Sam walks towards where she heard the noise. Sam finds herself in front of a door, she grabs the knob and turns it, opening the door. She took a peek inside and to her surprise it was a small dojo-like room similar to the one at her house. And in the dojo was Laura. She was wearing some workout gear and was doing Miyagi-Do kata.

"Laura," Sam walks in.

Laura jumps "Oh, Sam. You're awake. Couldn't sleep," she asks.

Sam nods "Yeah, I mean I just showed up 16 years in the future so alot on my mind,"

Laura smiles "I bet,"

"Was that Miyagi-Do you were doing," Sam asks.

Laura nods "Yeah Robby taught me, he said it can be helpful,"

Sam smiles, happy knowing that Robby is still using the principles of Miyagi-Do. There was then an awkward silence between the two, not knowing what to say to each other. Laura gulped not knowing what to say, Sam could tell she wanted to tell her something but she was struggling to do so.

"Laura, are you okay," Sam asked.

Laura jumped and nodded "Yeah, it's still weird you seeing you guys being so young,"

"Oh you know older me well guess that makes sense," Sam nods.

"Yeah, you were like a big sister to me," Laura smiles awkwardly "And now you look my age," The silence between them continued "Well we should get some sleep and figure out the rest tomorrow,"

"Yeah you're right," Sam nods, the two girls left the dojo room and headed back to bed. The awkward encounter was both on their mind as they went to sleep.

Elsewhere, a middle aged man with black hair and a short ponytail dressed in purple leather looked over the horizon.

Another younger individual then appeared, a teenage girl she looks towards the older man "I hope this plan of yours actually works,"

The older man smirked "Oh it will, erasing him from the timeline will greatly benefit us,"

"So why not bring the younger him here instead, why bring them," she asks.

"Well because she's the key," the man smirked, he then took out a rider watch, and he clicked the button on top.
