Happy July everyone! I just looked at my views for last month as it's been a rough day today and I'm honestly shocked at how many I got last month. I just want to say that every single view means so much to me and I never expected some of my stories to be as liked as what they are. I really hope everyone continues to like and enjoy them.
Stay safe.
Lots of love,

Breaking Traditions-Part 47:
The next milestone arrived it had been two months since Rosalie was brought home from the orphanage and Narcissa had been right. Her daughter was beginning to slowly start waking up for longer and beginning to get more alert. She was starting to recognise her surroundings more and voices as well.
Narcissa was now used to Lucius heading off to the Ministry and she was left with Rosalie. Snowy seemed to be rather attached to the baby and that was pleasing Narcissa as she was able to have the two together in the same room together.
"Well it's two months now," Priscilla said as she was sat having tea with Narcissa as Rosalie was sat in her seat supporter and she looked at Narcissa, "when is Severus finally going to meet her?" she asked.
Narcissa sighed. This had been on the lips of Priscilla, Cygnus and Abraxas for the past couple of weeks now as Rosalie was able to stay awake more.
"This weekend. Lucius, Rosa and I will be away from the Manor for the weekend as we will be at Hogwarts for Draco to see his sister and then Severus will be meeting Rosa finally," Narcissa said as she looked at her mother-in-law with a smirk.
"How long have you known this would be happening?" Priscilla asked as she noticed the smirk on Narcissa's face.
"About a week but Lucius decided to play a trick on you all," Narcissa said with a smile as she looked at her mother-in-law, "it was his idea for once so I went along with it."
"Remind me to speak with my son later then," Priscilla said as she looked at Rosalie, the baby's sky blue eyes on her Grandmother. Priscilla reached forwards and scooped Rosalie into her arms before settling the baby on her lap and smiling, "she's getting so much bigger already. You're doing well Miss Rosalie," she said and the baby let off a squeal that made Priscilla melt.
The weekend arrived and Lucius and Narcissa headed to Hogwarts and were shown to their room before there was a knock on the door and Draco appeared.
"I brought Daphne… She's heard from Astoria and wishes to meet Rosalie," he said biting his lip before Narcissa nodded and Daphne was sat down with Rosalie.
"She's so sweet," Daphne said, "I said to Draco that he should have written and asked properly but he insisted that I would be alright to come," she said.
"Daphne… you and Astoria will never be refused in our lives, home or denied permission to see Rosalie. Our families were united with this from the start and that means more to us than you'll ever know," Lucius said and watched Daphne with Rosalie unaware that Draco was watching them and wondering if there was more to his father's words than was obvious."
Eventually Daphne excused herself and passed Rosalie to Draco and smiled as he doted on his baby sister and she thanked Lucius and Narcissa before she headed off to leave the family alone.
"Severus is looking forwards to meeting her tomorrow," Draco said as he held his sister on his lap, "she's getting so much bigger already," he said as he tapped his sister's nose, "she looks like a Malfoy but the hair is more golden and the eyes more sky blue but other than that she's a Malfoy fit."
"We're thinking of publicly announcing her next month through the Daily Prophet and we'd like you to come home for the interview," Narcissa said as she looked at her children, "we think it would be best to do it soon because we want to be able to go out with her and we can't at the moment," she added.
Draco looked at his sister before he nodded.
"I wish we could keep her all to ourselves for longer but we have to tell the world sometime," he said as she looked up at his parents, "I mean she's not a dirty secret. She's precious and ours and nobody can take that away from us now," he said before gasping as Rosalie pulled on his hair, "you are a little monkey aren't you?" he said with a chuckle.
The next day and Lucius and Narcissa were eating breakfast and when there was a knock on the door to their room and Narcissa hurried to answer it as Lucius was reading the Daily Prophet.
"Severus," Narcissa said softly as she looked at him before inviting him in and closing the door behind her, "thank Merlin," she added with a chuckle as she looked at him, "we've been waiting for this day for so long now," she said.
"I know and I feel awful for missing out on the first two months of her life but I'm here now and want to see her every time I can," Severus replied as he sat down and looked at Lucius, who simply nodded in greeting.
"It's OK Severus. Albus explained, along with yourself, that what you were working on was both important and dangerous to Rosalie and that is something you will forever have our respect for," Lucius said before watching as Narcissa went to scoop Rosalie into her arms and she smiled as she showed the Professor his baby goddaughter.
"Is that…?" Severus asked as he looked at the baby, his eyes brightening slightly.
"Yes this is Rosalie," Narcissa said softly as she gently passed Rosalie to Severus and he held the little one at arms distance so he could get a look at her. The baby smiled and cooed as she looked at the new person and Severus looked before he began to melt at his goddaughter.
He moved her to sit on his lap and he looked at Rosalie.
"She's so beautiful," he said softly as he looked at her, "those eyes are the perfect sky blue," he said softly before stroking Rosalie's chubby little cheek, "the hair… it's like the sun was captured in her curls…"
Lucius chuckled softly,
"That is pretty much what everyone who's met her has said, so you aren't the only one who thinks that," he said before watching as Severus relaxed and began to get to know Rosalie and his frostiness melted away and it was clear that the usually cold Professor was having his heart melted in that very moment.
