Hello everyone!
So I've realised that 3 of my fics I am happily writing and one I'm not so what I'm going to try and do is get a new system in place so I can get the 4th one written as I do like to write it. That 4th fic will be updated by the end of next week, maybe sooner if I can get it done tomorrow. Nan was taken back into hospital on Tuesday so things have been rather chaotic this week.
Lots of love,

Breaking Traditions-Part 61:
The surprising Draco had gone well and now time was beginning to move and Rosalie was now beginning to walk. This was adding problems for Lucius and Narcissa as it meant their daughter was beginning to get her hands on everything. This meant that no wands could be left anywhere… a lesson that Lucius and Narcissa had learnt fairly quickly.
"She's a little mischief maker," Priscilla said as she scooped Rosalie into her arms, "getting into everything aren't you little girl?" All Rosalie did was giggle in response causing Priscilla to shake her head and laugh softly herself. The next day both Cygnus and Abraxas had scooped up the little girl and keep her away from harm. She was certainly keeping everyone on their toes.
The little one was starting to make sounds as well and that thrilled Narcissa as she had been worried about whether Rosalie would develop at a normal rate or not. She'd heard that adopted children may not grow at the normal rate so that was a shock to her but Rosalie was at the stage she should be.
Druella had been making steps… albeit slow steps… with Rosalie and was able to be in the same room as the little girl. She couldn't see the baby as her granddaughter but the fact that she could even be in the same room as Rosalie was a start. She'd started to give Lucius and Narcissa a few helpful things to help with Rosalie. Of course they knew some things from when Draco was a baby but they accepted the advice… whether they used it or not.
Draco came home soon after, for the weekend, and the first thing he saw was his sister on her feet and beginning to walk.
"She's walking?" he asked as he couldn't take his eyes off his sister.
"Just started after we surprised you at Hogwarts," Lucius said as he looked at his son, "you haven't missed much, just everyone rushing after Rosa to stop her getting into things that she shouldn't be as she holds onto things as she walks."
"I will be able to join in on that when I finally get home for the summer," Draco said with a nod, "I feel like I've missed so much with her," he said with a sigh, "now if she could stop at this stage until I get home then I won't miss out on her properly walking. Can't believe how big she's getting. I can't wait to get home and be off school for a while, just be with Rosalie for a few months rather than quick moments here and there," he said before chuckling softly as Rosalie fell backwards onto her bottom.
"It won't be that much longer until you're home. It's almost June and the last month of school," Narcissa said as she looked at her son, "then you'll be home for a while and we will be going to the Highlands as well so you will be able to see Astoria," she said before Druella walked in and sat down, asking Draco questions about who he'd been up to at school. Draco, after getting over the initial shock of his grandmother being in the same room as his baby sister, answered the questions in as much detail as possible.
Draco had managed to speak to his mother privately about everything that he'd seen about his grandmother being in the same room as Rosalie. Draco admitted that it was about time that his grandmother began to tolerate his baby sister but he knew that it would also take a while before Druella would say Rosalie was her granddaughter.
Draco had returned to Hogwarts and it was the countdown to his birthday when secrets started to come into Malfoy Manor. Priscilla had announced one day that Draco's room was now out of bounds to Lucius and Narcissa leaving the two wondering what was going on.
"That's for me, Abraxas and Cygnus to know and you and Lucius and Draco to find out," Priscilla had said with a smirk and that had been all she was going to say on the matter.
Lucius and Narcissa had tried to find out and had even tried to sneak Rosalie near the room but the baby cried as she fell backwards and couldn't get to where she could hear the voices. The crying had alerted Priscilla and she scooped the baby up in her arms and took her into Draco's room, sitting her in a chair and Rosalie sat for hours watching everyone working in Draco's room. Of course Lucius and Narcissa knew where Rosalie was in the end and just let her be. They could have some time to themselves afterall without their baby daughter with them.
"I know you have said that we won't find out until Draco does but should we be worried about what you're doing in there?" Lucius had asked his mother one day.
"No. Of course not. We're just saving you and Narcissa a job," Priscilla said, "it will help you two in the long run. When Rosa is watching us you're able to do things that you need to do as well," she said with a small smirk, "and that cannot be a bad thing surely?"
"You are correct mother, as always," Lucius said with a sigh as he looked at his mother remembering that she was always right.
"Whatever they are doing in there is remaining a closely guarded secret," Narcissa had said, "we can't even get near the room and only Rosa seems to be allowed in and she can't tell us what is going on."
"There is no need to worry about it," Lucius said, "whatever they are doing will be helping us in some way and that is something that we just have to bare in mind and hold onto," he said as he watched his wife, "Draco's birthday will be here before we know it and then the big surprise will be revealed and you will be wondering why you were so anxious about it all. Just you wait and see."
