Hey guys, here's chapter 13 of Rise of Zeo. This'll be the debut of one of my favorite creatures. Well, here goes.
It was another day in the Potions class. Today they were learning about how certain flowers have different properties when making potions. One in particular was a light blue flower with pink tips. As the instructor was talking, Zeo was taking notes, trying to find ingredients that might be able to help create the potion that would prove more effective on Eda's curse then the elixir she's currently using.
"These specific flowers vary in effect depending on what potion they're used in. They could boost your physical strength, heighten certain senses..." The potions teacher gave examples, "And, with the right combination of other ingredients, be used to help cure certain ailments." He said, catching Zeo's attention.
"Cure certain ailments?" Zeo repeated under his breath, "Where are these flowers usually found?" He asked the teacher.
"Excellent question, Mr. Clawthorne" The potions teacher said, shuddering a bit at the mention of that name, remembering Eda, "They're usually found in either rocky areas or grassy fields. They last from the start of spring until the end of summer" he informed the card wielder, "Why the sudden interest, if you don't mind me asking?" The instructor asked quizzically.
"Uh, no reason. Just... curious" Zeo said.
"Well, anyway, one downside of this flower is they're usually guarded by a ferocious beast. Several people have gone after it, not as many have come back… at least in one piece." The instructor said, pulling off his left hand as a hint.
"Whoa... How bad is this thing?" Zeo asked.
"Bad enough to where you have to try and sneak part it. They say it's even worse when it drinks a certain potion it has" the instructor said, "I hope you're not planning on getting one of these, Mr. Clawthorne"
"No, of course not. I just find this whole thing interesting" he said. Unbeknownst to anyone, Zeo had his index and middle fingers crossed under his desk. "A ferocious beast huh? Well, we'll just have to see how ferocious he is compared to my ferocious beast." He thought to himself, holding Knight Owl's card.
"Considering your family history, forgive me if I find that hard to believe" the instructor said.
"I don't blame you. Since my mom was in this track, my guess is you suffered more than any other teacher under her." Zeo said with a chuckle.
Bonesborough…
After school, Zeo went into town in search of a map that would help him find the flower. Fortunately, the bear merchant Grizz had the very map he was looking for.
"Hello, Zeo" he heard a voice. He turned his head to see none other than Lilith, Eda's sister.
"Oh, hey Aunt Lily. What're you doing here?" Zeo asked.
"I'm just here to buy some of my favorite tea" Lilith replied, "What about you? Is Eda sending you on some errand or something?" she asked.
"More like I'm on a personal errand to help Mom. An errand no one else knows about" Zeo told her, "You can keep this between us, right?" He asked.
"That depends on what the errand is, clone." Lilith said, "Don't forget, I'm a loyal servant of the emperor." she added.
"I'm getting an ingredient for a potion I'm making. An enhanced version of the elixir that keeps mom's curse at bay" Zeo told her, "Also, just because I'm a clone, doesn't mean that's what you have to call me" he added.
The mention of Eda's curse made Lilith flinch, before shaking her head to clear it. It's at this point she notices he's still in his Hexside uniform.
"Edalyn's allowed you to enroll in our Alma Mater, I see." Lilith said, trying to change the subject.
"Uh, yeah. I'm taking both Potions and Beast Keeping" Zeo told her, "I should probably change out of this thing though. These aren't the type of clothes for questing" he said.
"Here, let me" Lilith drew a spell circle that changed his uniform into his normal clothes, "Your uniform shall be in your room at home" she told him.
"Thanks." Zeo said. "Now if you'll excuse me..." he said, starting to leave.
"Just what is it you're after?" Lilith asked.
"A flower. They say the one I'm after I guarded by a beast. But am I scared?" Zeo chuckled, "Not a chance"
"You're just like Edalyn, reckless and crazy." Lilith said, shaking her head.
"Heh. Well, what do you expect from the son of the Owl Lady?" Zeo asked, "Knight Owl, arise!" he summoned his armored bird.
"It was nice talking to you, Auntie." Zeo said, hopping on the owl's back.
"Likewise. Tell my sister I said hello" Lilith said.
"Will do." Zeo said as Knight Owl took off.
"While I'm still not sure how to feel about being called aunt, part of me is hoping he's not talking about those flowers; and another part of me is hoping that if he is, his mastery over his beasts will be enough" Lilith thought to herself.
"Ok, the teacher said this flower could be found in rocky areas and in grassy fields. Now we just have to figure out which is closer" Zeo said to Knight Owl.
*Hoot* "Do you really think this will work?" Knight Owl asked with hints of uncertainty, fear and worry, in particular for Zeo, in his voice.
"I hope so. The elixir the mom normal uses is losing its effect. If I'm right, this flower should create an enhanced version of it" Zeo said.
*Hoot* "You really care for her, don't you?" Knight Owl asked.
"Of course! I may be a clone, but she's still my mother in my eyes, and I don't want her to suffer." Zeo said as a tear rolled down his face.
The Owl House…
At the Owl House, Eda was in the kitchen, preparing dinner when she heard the front door open. She saw it was Luz, who had returned from school.
"Hey, kid" she greeted her apprentice, and then quickly realized she was alone, "Where's Zeo?" she asked.
"He said he had to do something. He didn't say what, but it sounded important." Luz shrugged.
"Hm. I hope that clone of mine doesn't get himself killed" Eda said.
"Starting to get concerned for his safety?" Luz teased.
"What? No way!" Eda crossed her arms, "I just don't want someone thinking someone made from my essence could be destroyed so easily. I have a reputation, you know" she said.
"Sure, that's what you're concerned about." Luz said with a chuckle.
Grassy Fields…
"Ok, the grassy fields were closer" Zeo said, he and Knight Owl standing in said field, "Now, where are those damn flowers? If they're being guarded, it's not like they'd be out in the open" he said to himself. He then spotted a nearby cave.
*Hoot* "Think it might be in there?" Knight Owl asked.
"Only one way to find out." Zeo answered as the two started heading to the cavern entrance.
Within the cavern, there was a large room full of boulders. in the back, he saw several bouquets of the flowers he was looking for.
"Ok, this seems easy" Zeo said, "A little too easy. where's that beast the teacher was complaining about?" he asked. Soon the earth began to shake. Knight Owl opened his mouth as if to say something, only for Zeo to cut him off. "Don't. I get it." he said with a grumble.
Out came a large creature. It was a half man, half bull. Zeo recognized the creature as a minotaur. The creature was covered in blue fur and wore dark brown shorts, along with hoop shaped ring that hung between its nostrils. This thing looked a lot more intimidating than the statue that he and Eda saw on that bogus quest they went on for that fake flower of eternal youth.
"Oh, great, now I'm craving a steak… and maybe a burger" Zeo commented while rubbing his stomach.
The minotaur charged at Zeo, only for Knight Owl to try to intercept, the beast sending him flying with a backhand. Knight Owl hit a nearby wall before falling to the ground with a thud.
"Whoa! What?!" Zeo said with disbelief. he ran to his armored beast with concern, "Are you okay, buddy?" he asked.
*Hoot* "Ugh... I'm going to feel that the next time you summon me" Knight Owl groaned as he stood back up, *Hoot* "Cover your ears" the owl told his creator, Zeo doing so.
With the bull monster approaching, Knight Owl took a deep breath, his chest puffing out. The armored bird threw his head forward, screaming at the top of his lungs. He had released a high-pitched shriek, one where you could actually see the soundwaves which were a midnight purple in color. When the attack ceased, the minotaur stepped back while holding his head, his ears filled with an annoyed ringing.
"Whoa, what was that? I never even tossed a command card" Zeo said, removing his hands from his head, amazed at what he saw.
*Hoot* *Hoot* "Shadow Shriek, a special ability I have. Some of us have that one special ability that we can use without the need of a command card. Not all of us, but some" Knight Owl said, informing him.
"Whoa! Seriously?" Zeo said, amazed.
*Hoot* "Let's just say there's more us than you think" Knight Owl told him vaguely.
"I can imagine…" Zeo muttered, "In any case, you're going to need back up" he told the bird.
That's when a golden light emanated from Zeo's pants pocket. It flew from there, and then out in front of him. The light then dissipated, revealing to Luzura, Luz's witchy counterpart, her back to Zeo and Knight Owl. Luzura opened her eyes with a smile.
"Did someone call for back up?" Luzura asked telepathically in a cheerful tone.
"What the hell?" Zeo looked at her quizzically, "Ok, I'm guessing your non-card special ability is to appear without me summoning you"
"Only if I feel like it" Luzura replied slyly. She then noticed the minotaur, who had just gotten out of his ear ringing daze, "Don't worry, Zeo, I'll have this guy taken down" she said, scratching Zeo under his chin.
"Wait, Luzura, I don't think you should—" Zeo tried to tell her, only for the witchling to charge at the bull creature. He watched as Luzura used her staff to launch herself into the air. With a sigh, Zeo held up a card, "Command Card: Magic Missile" he tossed the card, which entered the crystal on top of Luzura's staff.
As she descended, Luzura held her staff like a bazooka, "Eat this, sucka!" she shouted telepathically.
The crystal on her staff glowed with a fiery orange light. Two fireballs were shot from her staff which hit the minotaur, exploding upon impact. This left the minotaur with scorch marks on his fur. Luzura landed with a snicker. However, it quickly changed to look of surprise when she looked up at the bull beast, who was glaring down at her, releasing an angry snort from his nose. The young witchling chuckled nervously before being flicked away by the beast's massive fingers. She would've hit the ground if it weren't for Zeo catching her in his arms.
"Thanks" Luzura said with a slight blush.
"Anytime." Zeo said, placing her down next to Knight Owl. "I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I think this calls for a little more brawn." Zeo said, pulling out three cards. "Magic Card: Fusion Vortex!" He said, summoning the fusion device. "Magma Lizard, Frost Lizard, combine!" He said, tossing the Lizard Brothers' cards into the vortex, and in a pillar of fire and ice, FrostFire Dragon was born, "Attack!" Zeo commanded the dragon.
With a roar, Frostfire Dragon flew towards the Minotaur and swung his tail, smacking him and sending him skidding across the ground. Frostfire landed and repeatedly beat the beast into the ground with his tail, leaving a minotaur-shaped imprint within it.
"Time for a little steak" Zeo said, holding a card, "Command Card: Magma Blast!" Zeo tossed the card into the dragon. The large reptile flew up to the ceiling before firing a powerful beam of flames that hit the bull beast dead on, "I think that did it" Zeo said before hearing a chuckle, "Or not..." he said. The minotaur stepped out of the flames, most of his fur singed off with third degree burns. He then took out a red potion, "Oh, crap. I think that's the potion the teacher mentioned!" Zeo said with slight fear as the minotaur guzzled down the contents.
The minotaur then tossed the empty bottle away, shattering it. The beast gritted his teeth as his body and muscles grew in size. His eyes turned blank and yellow, and his fur changed from blue to red. All damage he had taken prior was completely healed, his fur having regrown. When it was over, the beast was now twice in size.
"Okay, now I'm seeing what he meant." Zeo said, backing up. "No matter. Command Card: FrostFire Blast!" Zeo shouted, tossing the card into the fusion.
Frostfire shot a beam of fire and ice at the minotaur. It struck the monster, however, it shattered upon hitting his chest.
"WHAT?!" Zeo, Luzura, and Knight Owl cried out as the minotaur grabbed FrostFire by the throat and throw him at the wall, hard.
"Frostfire!" Zeo cried out.
Frostfire Dragon stood up with a roar. He flew towards the minotaur and swung his tail, only for the bull monster to grab his tail effortlessly. The minotaur flipped him over his shoulder, slamming the dragon into the ground on his back. The minotaur leapt and landed on Frostfire's stomach before delivering two powerful blows to his jaw. The minotaur leapt into the air again and landed, there being a cracking sound when he landed with his knee impacting his neck.
Frostfire then glowed with red and cyan colored lights. When the light dissipated, the Lizard Brothers' card retreated back into Zeo's hand. He couldn't believe what he just saw. FrostFire was easily his largest beast, and the fact that the minotaur just took it down without much effort was shocking to say the least.
"What do we do?" Luzura asked, shaking as she held on to Zeo.
That's when Zeo had a vision of a girl wings. The same vision he had the first time he summoned Luzura to save Luz. He looked at Luzura and Knight Owl.
"Could it be?" Zeo thought, looking at one of the extra Fusion Vortex cards that he created just in case, "Guys, I have an idea, but I'm going to need the two of you in order to do it. Do you trust me?" Zeo asked them.
"Of course!" Luzura said telepathically with a small smile.
*Hoot* "I always have" Knight Owl said.
"Well then..." He held a card between his fingers, "Fusion Vortex!" He tossed the card between the two.
Luzura turned into golden wisp while Knight Owl turned into a dark purple wisp. They entered the vortex which then exploded in a pillar of light and darkness. When the pillar dissipated, there stood Luzura, except different.
She wore a black tube top that showed off her stomach. Over it was a silver, heart-shaped breast plate that pushed up her breasts which had grown incredibly large. Around Her waist was a short, black sarong that stopped halfway down her thighs, the bottom portion having a torn look to it. On her legs were a pair of black, high heeled boots that stopped at her knees with silver soles and heels, silver shin guards being worn over them. On her arms were a pair of war talons, gauntlets with razor sharp talons. On her head, she wore Knight Owl's helmet. Her eyeshadow had changed from purple to black. But what was most incredible was a pair of massive, black bird wing protruding from her back. Slowly, Luzura opened her eyes which were now golden yellow.
"Whoa…" Zeo said in astonishment as Luzura raised her right hand, summoned a ball of energy and threw it at the minotaur. It hit the beast, sending him flying into the wall.
Luzura walked by Zeo, closing his mouth and caressing his cheek before slowly approaching the minotaur. As he watched her, Zeo couldn't help but notice that her legs had gotten thicker. Almost as thick as Willow's. Now that he thought about it, this, along with her ample bosom, gave her that hourglass-like figure. Standing in a pirouette stance she simply twirled before delivering a spinning roundhouse straight to the beast's jaw.
"That's for FrostFire." She said as it crashed into the nearby wall.
Luzura flew at the minotaur, delivering a strong kick to his stomach. She then grabbed him by the horns, spinning him around before tossing him into a wall. She flew towards him and delivered a swift blow to his crotch.
"Ooh! I'm so glad that's not me" Zeo cringed.
The minotaur got up and tried to deliver a punch to Luzura, only for her to catch his fist and effortlessly toss him up in the air so hard, he broke through the cave ceiling and wound up 10,000 feet in the air. Spreading her wings, Luzura took off.
"Zeo!" She called out once she had the beast in her crosshairs.
"Right!" Zeo said, coming out of his gaze, and pulling out another card, "Command Card: Flaring Lunar Victory!" Zeo said, tossing the upgraded version of Knight Owl's best technique into Luzura's breastplate.
Luzura cupped her wrists together and formed a giant ball of white light in her hands which was surrounded by wisps of light. She then fired the attack at the minotaur. The moment it hit the beast, it was vaporized, leaving nothing but a rain of light. Luzura descended towards Zeo before throwing her arms around him in a hug, her now large breasts smooshing against his chest.
"And I thought Storm Raptor was a cool fusion!" Zeo commented as he returned the hug. Luzura chuckled and wrapped her wings around Zeo's body.
"Hey, Zeo..." Luzura began.
"Hm?" Zeo looked at her. He was caught off guard by the girl planting a warm kiss upon his cheek
Unbeknownst to either of them, the light from the minotaur's destruction was bigger than either of them thought, bits of light raining down all over the Isles. One of the light fragments found its way into the hand of a cloaked figure. Sensing something off about this fragment, the figure made a spell circle and saw everything, from Zeo's meeting with the minotaur to its demise.
"Hm. This boy is more impressive than I previously thought" the figure said to themselves.
The lights even reached the Owl House.
"Wow... Hey guys, check it out, hoot-hoot!" Hooty said, calling out to the inhabitants.
"Wow! It's so pretty!" Luz beamed.
"Why do I get the feeling Zeo has something to do with this?" Eda asked.
"Where did all this come from?" Luz asked.
"Beats me, all I know is something huge shot up about 10,000 feet in the air and this HUGE burst of light erupted, and now this stuff's raining all over the Boiling Isles from the looks of it." Hooty said.
"Huge burst light?" King repeated.
"Must've been Knight Owl" Luz suggested.
"I'm not sure. I've seen Knight Owl's attack, this was bigger. Plus, it didn't cause this stuff to rain down." Hooty said.
"Well, whatever the case, it's still pretty" Luz said.
Back with Zeo and Luzura.
"Hm. What should we call this new form?" Zeo asked, the two of them still holding each other.
"That's a good question." Luzura said, reluctantly letting go of her embrace and admiring her new form.
Luzura spun around a gave a swift kick to the air. Zeo's face quickly turned red. When Luzura spun, he got a brief glimpse of her dark purple panties. Zeo shook his head to clear it and cleared his throat.
"How about... Luzura, the Owl Paladin" Zeo offered.
"Hmm... I like it" Luzura said, smacking her butt with a flirtatious gaze, doing a sultry pose. Zeo blushed at that, "Now then, Zeo..." she walked up to him and once again embraced him, "There's something... I've been meaning to tell you" she began.
"Huh?" Zeo asked.
"I..." Luzura pressed her forehead against his, gazing into his eyes with a blush upon her cheeks, "For a while now, I've felt differently around you" Luzura began.
"Hmm?" Zeo looked at her inquisitively.
"I…" Luzura bit her lower lip, "I love you, Zeo" she told him, kissing his cheek before resting her forehead on his, gazing into his eyes with a small smile, her cheeks red.
"Uhh…" Zeo was at a loss for words, unsure how to reply, "Hey, now we can get the flowers!" he quickly said.
Zeo broke the embrace and ran over to the flowers. Luzura narrowed her eyes, growling and clenching her fists as rage started to build up in her. It was enough to where the fusion had been undone, separating back into her normal self and Knight Owl.
"Ok, got them. Ready?" Zeo asked before seeing Luzura, who's face was red as she glared at him, "Uh… something wrong?" he asked, nervously looking at Knight Owl who started backing up.
Luzura walked up to him. Outside the cave, several birds flew away, having been scared off by a sharp slapping sound.
The Owl House…
Zeo was on the couch with an ice pack on his left cheek and another in between his thighs.
"And next thing I know, she slaps me in the face and kicks me in the balls" Zeo explained to Luz, Eda, and King, the latter of whom was visibly struggling to keep a straight face.
Soon King couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing.
"Shut up, King!" Zeo yelled, "What's with Luzura anyway? She's never been angry with me before" he said.
"Well... to be fair, it sounds like she poured her heart out to you, and your response wasn't what she hoped for." Luz said, having heard what recently transpired. Though Zeo had left out the part about Luzura's new form.
"Well, I don't want her to be mad at me. What should I do?" Zeo asked.
"You want my advice?" Eda asked.
"Uh, no offense, but I'd rather have Luz's advice when it comes to this" Zeo replied.
"Why? I've had tons of romances; I even once dated this Incubus. Son of a bitch wouldn't stop trying to slip me roofies." Eda said, muttering that last part under her breath.
"Alright then, Mom, what do you suggest I do?" Zeo faced Eda.
Eda felt a chill run up her spine upon being called that, but then shrugged it off.
"Just talk to her. Find a place to be alone with her and just talk things out. She might forgive you if you do" Eda advised.
"That's actually a good idea." Zeo said, pulling out the fully charged card. "Luzura, arise!" He said, summoning the doppelganger.
"I think it'd be best if we just leave you two alone." Luz said, leading Eda and King away.
"What? But I want to watch the train wreck!" King said.
"Night Howler, arise!" Zeo summoned the dire wolf, "Get King out of her" he told her. Night Howler nodded and grabbed him by the back of his collar with her teeth. taking him into the kitchen. Zeo turned to the girl witch, "Hey, Luzura..." he began.
"Hmph!" Luzura turned her back to him in a huff, folding her arms over her chest.
"Luzura, I realize you must be upset" Zeo started.
"Upset isn't exactly the word I'd use to describe what I'm feeling right now." Luzura said telepathically, refusing to face him.
"Luzura..." Zeo exhaled, "You remember how after you were destroyed by that ogre, I told you I care about you, right?" he said, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah? What're you getting at, Zeo?" Luzura cocked an eyebrow at him.
"I mean..." Zeo took ahold of her hands, making her face him, "I shouldn't have ignored you like that. I should've been more sensitive towards your feelings" he told her, "I'm sorry if I hurt you" he told her.
There was a short pause.
"You'll have to do a little better than that, Zeo" Luzura replied.
"Listen, if I'm going to be completely honest, you caught me a little off guard, and well, I'm not sure how I feel. I care about all of you the same, but..." Zeo said, trying to find the best way to finish his sentence, "You're a bit different from my other creations. Special different" Zeo told her, "I'm not sure how or why, but you are" he said, "I wasn't expecting one of my own creations to have feelings for me" Zeo told her.
"Well, to be fair, like you said, I'm different from the others" Luzura said, "I can't help but feel the way I feel" she said, "Maybe it's from spending so much time with you. Maybe it's because I admire you. Or maybe it's because you based me off..." she trailed off that last sentence, Zeo knowing what she was getting at, "I love you, Zeo. I really do…" Luzura told him.
"I know, but the thing is, I'm not exactly sure how I feel myself." Zeo said, trying to let her down as gently as he could. "Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered, but I'm not 100% sure." He added.
Luzura sighed, "I understand..." She said, tears forming in the corner of her eyes. She kissed his cheek and stood up, "I think it's best if I stay with Luz for a while" she said, a hint of sadness in her voice.
"If you insist" Zeo said, a tinge of guilt in his voice, "Luz!" He called for the human girl.
"Yeah?" Luz asked, walking in before seeing Luzura's expression, "Luzura, what's wrong?" She asked her doppelganger.
Her witch counterpart simply retreated back into her card form. Zeo walked over to the card and picked it up.
"Could you maybe hold on to Luzura for a little while?" Zeo asked, handing the human girl the card.
"Why? What did you say to her?!" Luz said holding the card defensively to her chest.
"All I said was I wasn't sure about my feelings. I'm not sure how I feel..." He admitted.
"All I said was I wasn't sure about my feelings. I'm not sure how I feel..." He admitted.
Luz looked concerned at the card, "I'll keep her with me for now then." She said, heading up to her room.
Zeo sighed with a hang of his head.
"Rough day, kid?" He looked up to see Eda giving him a sympathetic expression.
"You have no idea." Zeo said.
Soon in Luz's room, she stared at Luzura's card as the colors returned, signifying her being fully recharged.
"I don't know if you can hear me, but if you want to talk about what you're experiencing, you're welcome to." Luz said.
The card then glowed. In an instant, Luz's doppelganger sat on the bed with her.
"Luzura, I—" Luz was cut off by Luzura throwing her arms around her waist, her face against her chest. Luzura then started crying, "There, there. It's alright. You're welcome to stay with me as long as you need." Luz said, "Huh. A little weird that I'd be saying to someone that's basically me..." Luz mumbled to herself, "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked her double.
"I poured my heart out to him, Luz. Him not knowing how he feels hurts. Do you know how that feels?" She asked her human counterpart.
"Not really. Back home there weren't that many people who were... pleased to be around me." Luz said.
"I thought after what I did, he'd notice me. Especially with that new form of mine" Luzura said.
"New form?" Luz said with a bit of intrigue.
"You'll find out if ever mind meld again" Luzura told her.
"Well, anyway, boys tend to be complicated. Especially the ones Eda told me she's dated." Luz said with a shudder, "I'm sure he'll come around. Just give him some time" she added reassuringly.
"I hope so." Luzura said.
"Until then, like I said, you're welcome to stay with me as long as you need." Luz said, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Meanwhile, Zeo and Eda were sitting on the couch.
"I feel like such a jackass. Why does stuff like this have to be so complicated?" Zeo asked, massaging his temples.
"Trust me, kid, it only gets worse from here. Just be glad she's not a succubus, the female equivalent of an incubus." Eda joked.
"What if she were?" Zeo asked.
"I can take over from here." King said. "You see Zeo, Incubi and Succubi… well, essentially they're real horndogs. Incubi prey on the sexual tension of sleeping women, which is why the incubus Eda once dated kept trying to slip her roofies. And Succubi are the same with men." he explained.
"Damn. Well, that new form of hers was pretty sexual, both in design and personality" Zeo mentioned.
"Let me ask you this, Zeo. How do you feel when you're around Luz?" Eda asked him.
"I... W-Well, I..." Zeo stuttered, blushing.
King started laughing, "Zeo, you're blushing." King taunted.
Zeo placed his fingers in his mouth and whistled, signaling Night Howler to grab King by the collar and take him away. This left Zeo alone with Eda.
"How do I feel around Luz?" Zeo repeated, "Well, she doesn't annoy me nearly as much as most of the jerks at Hexside. She's pretty much my best friend... Plus, she is kind of cute" he admitted, "Do me a favor and not let what I just said out of this room just yet." Zeo said.
"Don't worry, kid, this stays between us" Eda said, ruffling his hair.
Alright, that's the end of this chapter. Looks like Luzura has a new form, and with Knight Owl no less. I told you guys one of Zeo's creatures would become more badass. And no, I'm not ashamed of the design I gave her. This is the first of many alternate forms I've thought of for Luzura. Out of all the forms I've made for her, this is my personal favorite. This was inspired by a combination of Rainbow Neos, Dark Magician Girl and Rouge the Bat (mainly the last two though). Expect to see this version of Luzura more than any other.
Too bad confessing her feelings to Zeo didn't go as planned. But who knows? Maybe that'll change in the future. Only time will tell.

Oh, and about that non-card special ability thing Knight Owl was talking about, only certain creatures have that. Not all, but some (Like Knight Owl himself for example).
