Chapter 14 The nymph's garden
Author's note; Annie discovers nymphs in Greece and a demon is controlling them.
The weather was getting cooler in Florence. The leaves were changing color and were falling around.
Annie and Parker were in the park enjoying the autumn day. Annie was on her roller skates her red hair swooshing in the air. Parker sat on a bench watching.
"You're just as great at skating then swimming" Parker called to his girlfriend. Annie giggled and skated over to the bench and sat down next to him.
"It seems like we barely have time for this anymore," sighed Annie. "With Ava and supernatural hunters and keeping my powers a secret."
"Ava's been quiet these past couple weeks," said Parker suspiciously. "You think she's up to something."
"She's probably laying low now that we know she's in town" replied Annie.
Annie took off her skates and arm in arm they walked home.

Island in Greece
Near a river, beautiful creatures were frolicking and playing in the lush grass. They wore flowing dresses and crowns of flowers.
Just then a man appeared. He looked in his early twenties, with light brown hair and wore gothic clothes.
"Hello ladies," said the demon in a taunting voice.
"Demon!" cried one of the nymphs.
The demon walked forward.
"This grove belongs to the demons now," he said cunningly. "And you'll be nothing but servants."
"We nymphs have owned this grove for over a thousand years" said a nymph trying to sound brave.
"After what you did to my father," declared the demon. "The least you can do is give us demons your territory."
He then unleash fire and the nymphs ran.

Annie and Rachel were watching tv at Annie's house when they heard a knock on the door. Annie answered it and saw Celina.
"Hey Celina," said Annie stepping aside to let Celina come in. "How's Sean doing?" Sean had checked out of the hospital a few days ago."
"He's fine," replied Celina. "He's feeling a lot better now. Mrs. Frost was able to convince the doctor that she was a distant relative of his and that he was staying with them. Mrs. Frost has seemed to become more accepting to Sean since he stopped Ava."
"I still can't believe he likes Irene," retorted Rachel. "I was never really best friends with her throughout my life."
Annie chuckled and shook her head.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
The three girls looked at each other in confusion.
"Who could that be?" asked Celina.
Annie answered the girl and to the girls surprise, there were three girls at the door.
"Hey," said the girl in the middle. She was the shortest of the three girls, she had long light brunette hair and wore a white tank top and flowing skirt. "I'm Petunia, and this is Lavender and Daisy."
Lavender the nymph on the left had long wavy ginger hair and wore a white sleeveless dress with ruffled shoulders.
Daisy the nymph on the right had African-American skin with really short black hair and wore a white empire waistline dress.
Annie and her friends all noticed the girls were wearing crowns of flowers.
"Nymphs" muttered Celina.
"You must be the mermaid princess," said Daisy curtsying. "We heard you were in the human world."
"Nymphs?" asked Annie. "You mean those woodland creatures that live in the woods and water?"
The girls nodded.
"How did you find me?" asked Celina.
"We sensed magic on you" replied Lavender.
"We need you're help," said Petunia in a pleading tone of voice. "A demon has taken over our grove."
Annie and Rachel looked at each other in horror.
"Why?" asked Celina. "What does he want with you?"
"His name is Seoras," explained Lavender. "His father tried to take over our grove years ago and we had turned him into a tree. Seoras never forgave us for that and wants our grove."
"Where is your grove?" asked Annie.
"On an island in Greece" replied Daisy.
"Of course, we'll help you," said Celina.
Annie and Rachel mixed a potion and the mermaids and the nymphs headed to the moonpool. Rachel poured the potion into the water and the portal opened. They jumped in and flew out.
Annie, Rachel and Celina looked around to see ahead of the sandy ground they had landed on was lush green grass, leafy green trees and many flowers.
Annie walked up to a rose and sniffed it. It was amazing to see so many flowers at this time of year.
"It's like spring never ended around here" said Annie softly.
"It's how nymphs do," said Petunia. "Our groves make an eternal spring because nymphs have a close bond with nature."
"Our grove will be ruined if Seoras takes over" sighed Lavender.
"Don't worry," assured Rachel. "Once we find that demon, he won't be troubling you anymore."
The girls walked through the grove.
"This is where he appeared to us yesterday," said Daisy. "We were dancing with our friends when he appeared. We scattered around trying to get away from him."
"You don't think he killed the others, do you?" asked Lavender worriedly.
"Oh, don't worry," said a voice. "I left them alive."
The group looked up to see Seoras standing on a ledge. The girls could see some other girls behind him. They wore flower crowns and dressed in white like Petunia, Lavender and Daisy. They were standing behind him looking frightened.
"That's him!" exclaimed Lavender.
"I see you went and brought mermaids to help you nymphs," taunted Seoras. "Well, it's no use. This grove is now mine. And the nymphs are now my servants."
"In your dreams demon!" snapped Annie.
The three mermaids got ready to fight.

Vivian drove the Yesconises Chevy to the inn. George Clemons had checked out of the hospital and was now staying at the Florence inn. Vivian had decided to check up on him.
Vivian parked the car and went up to room 203, the room George was staying in and knocked on the door.
George answered the door and saw Vivian carrying some containers of food.
"Hey George," said Vivian happily. "I thought I'd stop by to see how you're doing."
"Just fine Mrs. Yesconis," said George appreciatively. "I've been doing a lot better since I moved into the inn."
"I thought I'd give you some food to eat," said Vivian handing him the containers. "I'm bit of a cook at home. There's lasagna, mashed potatoes and beans."
"Thanks Mrs. Yesconis," said George kindly. "I was very fortunate that your stepdaughter was out that night. Otherwise, I wouldn't have made it."
"Annie seems to have lots of adventures since we moved here," laughed Vivian. "Always going places with her friends."
"Does she like to swim?" asked George interestedly.
Vivian crocked her eyebrows.
"Oh," she said twirling her black hair. "She doesn't swim much. We used to live further in land before we moved to Florence. So, she hasn't had much experience with water. She prefers roller skating over swimming."
George nodded dismissively.
"So, why'd you come to Florence?" asked Vivian.
"Oh, I decided to move to find a new place to live with my girlfriend," said George. "She's in Portland right now while I look around for a new house."
"That's so nice," said Vivian. "I have to get going now, but I hope you enjoy your food."
"Thanks again Mrs. Yesconis," said George kindly. "See you later."

Annie, Rachel and Celina stared up at the demon and the nymphs. They were ready to fight him.
"Leave this grotto now Seoras," said Celina firmly. "And your life will be spared."
"Why would I do that?" taunted Seoras. "This grotto is perfect. And besides the nymphs have to do as I say since I'm their leader now."
He turned to look at the nymphs.
"Attack them" he ordered.
The nymphs charged forward.
Annie, Rachel and Celina pushed and kicked the nymphs aside the defensively as they ran past so they wouldn't hurt them.
Annie ran up to Seoras. She unleashed a fire ball. It hit Seoras, but he looked unharmed. Annie halted speechlessly.
"You mermaids are weak," taunted Seoras. "Your powers can't hurt me."
Petunia, Lavender and Daisy were huddled together watching Annie fighting Seoras, they could see Annie using her telekinesis powers to send Seoras in the river and then tried to freeze him in the water. But Seoras made the ice shatter in to pieces and climbed out.
Seoras saw the three nymphs.
"Let me show you what happens to those who refuses to follow me" he said.
Seoras unleashed a ball of fire and it hit Petunia. Petunia screamed as she was disintegrated.
"Petunia!" cried Lavender and Daisy.
Annie, Rachel and Celina starred in horror at the sight.
Celina was closest to Seoras and he turned to face the mermaid princess and was ready to use his fire on her too. But Celina waved her hand in front of her, and disappeared.
"Where did she go?" cried Seoras.
Rachel starred in amazement at what she saw.
"Celina's governess told us that in the oceanic realm," whispered Annie. "Mermaids can make themselves invisible temporarily."
Annie did the same thing Celina had done and disappeared. Rachel followed a second later and turned invisible.
Seoras looked around for the three mermaids, but he couldn't find them.
Lavender and Daisy understood what the mermaids had done, walked over to the river while Seoras was distracted and jumped in.
Annie, Rachel and Celina had ran along the side of the river into a clearing where they made themselves visible again.
"I think we lost him," panted Celina. "For now."
"I can't believe he'd kill a nymph" snapped Annie.
"Where are Daisy and Lavender?" asked Rachel.
"Over here" came Daisy's voice.
They turned to see a light in the water and the nymphs came flying out of the water and landed.
"We have the power to travel through water," explained Lavender. Her expression turned sad. "I can't believe Seoras killed Petunia." Daisy wrapped her arm around her friend comfortingly.
"What is this place?" asked Annie.
"That willow tree is Seoras father," explained Daisy. "This is where the nymphs turned him into a tree."
"What can we do?" asked Lavender. "He's to powerful for us to stop. And he's in charge of our grotto now, we can't go against him."
"We can," said Annie firmly. "And we must."
"Annie's right," agreed Rachel. "This grove is yours, and you have to stand up to him."
Lavender and Daisy looked at each other and nodded in agreement with a look of courage on their faces.

Seoras had the other nymphs all gathered up. They were all huddled together and looking frightened at the thought that he had just killed their friend.
"Now that I've showed you what happens to those who are insubordinate," he said. "I'm in charge of this grotto."
Just then Celina, appeared behind him. Seoras turned around and saw the mermaid princess.
Annie and Rachel appeared around him.
Lavender and Daisy bravely walked up too.
"We won't be pushed around in our own grove Seoras!" said Daisy.
The other nymphs looked at each other in astonishment of how courageous their friends where being and slowly stepped up to face him too.
"You can't use your powers on me," retorted Seoras. "You're just weaklings."
He used his telekinetic powers to lift Annie and Rachel in the year.
"Rachel," said Annie. "Let's combined our powers together."
Annie and Rachel each lifted an arm in the air, making a fire ball. As their hands lifted higher, the two balls got bigger and combined together making one big fire ball. Seoras starred in surprise sensing how strong their magic was.
"It appears, I was wrong" he said calmly.
And then the two mermaids threw the ball at him. The ball hit him and within a few seconds, he was gone, leaving only a burnt patch of grass behind.
Daisy held her hand over the burnt grass and a shower of gold sparkles rained down on it, turning it green again.
The nymphs all cheered, gold sparkles went all over making beautiful flowers grow all over the grove.
"Thank you, Annie," said Daisy.
"It was no problem" said Annie kindly.
Lavender made a bouquet of poppies, daisies and cornflowers.
"Here take these," she said. "As our way of saying thank you."
"Thank you," said Celina. "Now it's time for us to get back to Florence."
When Annie got home, she saw Alex waiting for her.
"Where'd you get those?" he asked noticing the bouquet of flowers.
"From some nymphs," said Annie. "Rachel, Celina and I helped them save their home from a demon."
And she started telling her father all about it.
Author's note; This chapter is based of the episode of Charmed Nymphs just wanna have fun. And the title a reference to the film the good witch's garden.
