Your wish, is my command, as I think of the next chapter. Here is how Quinn and Santana got involved in the lifestyle.

"Fucking Macy Winters." 14-year-old Quinn growled. She watched the 16-year-old get thrown into the air. They had only been at cheer camp for two hours and had already done their skill test.

"Watch your mouth." Santana chided, sitting at the picnic table next to Quinn watching the older kids' skill test.

"Please you're the queen of cussing." Quinn said, rolling her eyes.

"But you aren't. So, watch it church girl." San told her.

"I'm hot," Britt said standing up. She was done watching the older kid's practice. "I want to go swimming before lunch."

"Sounds like a plan." Santana said. She was also done watching. Quinn and Macy had had a rivalry basically from the start, the summer before third grade. Luckily for them Macy went to school in Illinois so Quinn and her only duked it out two weeks a year, but it always felt like a dampener on the fun.

"I'm going to stay and watch."

"Quinn…" Brittany whined. "Let's go swimming, we only have half an hour before lunch, and we have that dumb hike after lunch."

"I want to watch, you two go swimming." Quinn said.

"No, you always do dumb stuff when Macy is around, and then Santana yells and threatens to beat you both up. I know that you two have been all flirty, do you want Santana to actually beat up Macy today?" Britt said.

Quinn blushed at Britt's openness. The three girls had spent 7th and 8th grade practice dating and freshman year going way too far with some of the guys in their class, trying to fill a void. The last week of school though, Santana had kissed Quinn and the two had started easing into a relationship. "I won't beat her up, I will beat you up." Santana growled.

"Domestic violence isn't sexy S," Quinn told her, never taking her eyes off of her long time rival.

"We are getting older, maybe we will be on different teams this year, so we should spend the time we for sure have together, together." Santana tried again.

Quinn tore her eyes away at that, "We've never been on different teams before."

"We have been kids before." She told her.

"Its fine San, just go away." Quinn whined.

"Quinn, this isn't going to work if we don't listen to each other." Santana felt frustrated with how powerless she felt.

"You're right, so hear me when I say this is the year that I will win. Now go away."

Santana sighed, "Come on Britt."

Britt followed Santana, "Quinn is mean when Macy is around."

"Yeah," Santana said annoyed. They were new to this real relationship thing, and normally Santana would ask her parents for help or Frannie, but she couldn't ask any of them in this case. Frannie had broken her ankle two weeks ago and couldn't make it to camp this year. She wanted to make this relationship work, but at fifteen she wasn't sure how to.

Quinn kept watching until lunch when she met up with the other two. "Hey baby," Santana said.

Quinn smiled warmly at the disarming smile Santana gave her. "Some of my favorite words. Hey, back!" She sat down next to Santana and snuggled close.

Macy stopped by their table. "I just looked at the groups, and guess what group I'm in…"

"We don't care." Santana said, hoping that Macy would walk away. She just wanted to spend time with her girl. Being out of school meant they were doing a lot of sneaking around their religious parents.

"Well, it's the cheetah group." Macy plunged ahead.

They split the girls into athletic abilities by groups of 15, you spent the next two weeks with your group. The hike was supposed to bond you. The cheetahs were the best of the best and did the most dangerous of stunts and hiking trails. None of them had ever been old enough to be in the cheetah group. Usually, the cheetahs, tigers, and lions were reserved for the summer after your junior and senior year, so it made sense to them that she would be on one of those teams.

"How do you know that?" Quinn asked.

"Leah told me." Macy sang, referring to one of their favorite leaders.

Quinn started to stand up. "Leave it alone, Quinn, we will know after lunch in like twenty minutes." Santana told her.

"Bossy, Bossy," Macy teased Santana.

Quinn was already walking away to find Leah. "Quinn." Leah said, her face lighting up at seeing the young girl.

"Hey, Macy came by and said she knew what group she was in so I was hoping…" Quinn started.

"Ah, we each only know who is in our own groups, right now. But the good news is that you, Santana, and Britt are also all in my group."

"We're cheetahs?!" Quinn asked, totally stunned.

"Yeah, honestly the three of you only didn't make it last year because of your age, but with a year of high school under your belt, we were able to rank you on ability alone." Leah told her. "Britt was on the cusp, but I knew we couldn't break up the unholy trinity."

Quinn laughed and hugged the girl, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She rushed back to the table. "Guess what team we are on?!"

"The Zebras?" Macy asked, referring to the third grade level team.

"Go away to your own friends Macy, oh that's right, you don't have any." Santana growled.

"The Panthers?" Britt asked. It was the top team for the 9th-10th graders.

"Nope." Quinn said bouncing on the balls of her feet.

"Sit down and eat Quinn, whatever team it is, the hike is punishing and you need some food after the skills test anyway." Santana told her.

Quinn dropped down next to Santana and picked her fork up, "We are in the Cheetah's!" Quinn said.

"What?!" Macy asked, then she smirked, "I would be worried if you weren't putting on so much weight Quinne." She reached down and patted Quinn stomach, "Growing a baby in there?"

Santana's hand darted out and grabbed tightly on to Macy. "S…" Brittany hedged.

"Don't you ever put your hand on something that is mine again." Santana growled, squeezing hard.

"Jesus Santana!" Quinn said blushing. She wasn't sure what was making Santana go all caveman on her today, but it was embarrassing her.

"You are hurting me." Macy said.

"Good, don't you ever fucking touch her again." Santana squeezed harder. She couldn't control communication with Quinn, but she could rip this bitch apart.

"Santana!" Brittany said.

Quinn reached down and rested her hand gently on top of Santana's hard grip. "She isn't worth it."

"She isn't but you are." Santana growled, not taking her eyes from Macy's watering ones, "Do we understand each other?"

"Yes." Macy said, pulling back when Santana let go, "I should have known you weirdos were lesbos. Guess the fat is just food," Macy turned to leave. "Unless she's cheating." She whispered as she walked away.

"Do you feel better now that you've peed all over me?" Quinn asked, angered.

Santana turned her stony glare on her girl. "You're right. I'm sorry."

"No more fighting with her." Quinn said.

Santana thought about that for a moment. "Okay, I won't fight with her, if you don't compete with her."

At lunch and dinner everyday they ranked the girls in the Cheetahs, Panthers and the Wildcats (the top 6th-8th grade team) based off of how they did in the morning and afternoon activities and cheer sessions. Last two years on the wildcats Santana and Quinn had fun as they were constantly bumping each other from the top spot. The year before had been less fun as Quinn and Macy had competed for that spot.

"We are going to be literally ranked against each other twice a day."

"I know, and I hate everything about that." Santana told her.

"I'm supposed to compete against her."

"No, you are supposed to compete against you, and outside of this b…"

"San!" Britt warned.

"Outside of Macy, you know that." Santana lectured. "Now, eat please."

"I'm not hungry." Quinn said, pushing the mac and cheese away.

"Quinn how are you supposed to win if you are tired?" Britt asked her.

After a second of thinking, she picked up her fork and started to pick at her food.

Santana rolled her eyes but didn't say anything about it. A simple oversight that Santana would kick herself for in the coming years. Even after the girls were married, Santana would occasionally think back to this moment and wonder if she should have been more forceful about Quinn eating at this first sign of trouble. "Deal?"

"No." Quinn said petulantly.

"This isn't going to work if we can't communicate." Santana said lowly.

"What the hell does that mean?" Quinn asked.

"It means you need to start thinking about what you actually want in life." Santana said, standing up to go stretch.

"Don't make S sad. It makes me angry." Britt told Quinn.

"You want me just to lose?" Quinn asked.

"No, and neither does S and you know it. She doesn't want you to be crazy to try and be first." Britt told her. "Look, I know we are young, but if I believed in soul mates, I would tell you that everyone has known since you two were five that the two of you were."

"What are you saying to me?" Quinn asked, sighing, she knew that Britt always had weird people wisdom.

"Sometimes people are soulmates like friends, and sometimes people are soulmates like lovers. And very rarely people are blessed and get to be both." Britt told her. "We know that we are all friend soulmates, so the question the two of you are trying to figure out is, are you blessed to be both."

"We are. Forever." Quinn said unwaveringly. "I know it in my bones."

Britt nodded, "Then you know in your bones that S is a lot like both of your dads and she is going to need that respect and control. You need to figure out how you can give that to her, and remain you, it shouldn't be too hard though. You never disrespected her like this when you were just friends."

"She was never this caveman before."

"She never needed to be, you've always followed behind San. She has no problem stepping out of the way so you can shine in the classroom and on the cheer mat and you follow behind the rest of the time, so why not now?"

"I…I'm scared." Quinn said.

Britt stood up, to throw her plate away, "So is she Quinn."

Quinn stood and threw her plate away too. She went and stood above where S was stretching on the ground. "I'm sorry." Quinn said.

"And?" Santana asked not looking up.

Quinn got down on the ground to stretch next to her. "And I don't want to lie to you. I can't say I won't compete with her. Is there something else that I can do so you aren't upset with me?"

"Q, Macy has this way of pushing you into dangerous things, and we are already in the dangerous group."

"Okay, then I promise that while I will still compete, that I won't do anything dangerous or raise to her dares or taunting." Quinn said, thinking she had solved the problem.

"And when you inevitably do something dangerous due to Macy's taunting?"

Quinn was thrown off. "What do you mean?"

"What happens when you break that promise?"

"What do you want?"

"I will think about it tonight." Santana told her.

Quinn stood up and pulled Santana up with her to sort into the groups. When they had sorted into the cheetah group they celebrated with the other girls, all having just finished their senior years.

"All right," Leah said. "So we are running close to the river most of this run, but we do go up in to the mountains for about two miles, the side does drop off steeply, if you need to slow down do it. Stop someone with you though, so you aren't alone. Half way through there is a challenge, as you know, if you lose us just follow the path and we will wait to start the challenge." At that Leah turned and took off running. The girls all fell in step behind her. Quinn knew that the run wasn't apart of the challenge so she paced herself with Santana and Britt in the rear.

Quinn and Santana were running every morning to be able to see each other so it was really no big deal for them, but Britt was clearly tiring around mile four. When she stopped, Quinn and Santana stopped with her. So did three other girls, Jane, Alyssa and Cassie. "Alright," Quinn said, "lets walk for a mile, so we keep our bodies warmed up, then we will run that last mile to the halfway point."

The girls agreed and started walking. Santana pulled on Quinn's arm, and she hung back behind the group. When they were sure they wouldn't be heard they started walking again.

"I think we should have rules and then consequences for breaking them."

"That will make you feel safer?" Quinn asked.

"Yes." Santana told her.

"Rules we both follow?"

"Yes." She smirked though, and Quinn knew it was because her very black and white thinking girlfriend felt confident that she wouldn't break the rules.

"What type of consequences?" Quinn asked.

Santana knew that she would want to start here. "Well," She hedged. "I already know that you respond well to spanking…"

Quinn wanted to immediately reject that idea, "San, we just got to an age where our parents aren't using spanking as their first form of punishment, and you want me to just let you spank me whenever you want."

"Not whenever I want." She said. "When you break a rule."

"What rules?" Quinn asked, she wanted to just say no, but she knew that Santana needed her to at least consider this.

"Let's start with we have to be honest with each other, and we have to be safe." Santana told her.

Quinn nodded, "And respectful to each other, I guess I haven't been doing great at that lately, S. I'm sorry."

"I think that's a great addition." Santana told her.

"Okay, so if either of us breaks one of these rules, the other person gets to spank them?" Quinn asked.

"I don't think it's a gets to but yes." Sanatana said.

"Well, all we can do is try." Quinn told her.

They ran the last mile to the meet up spot and breathed out their relief. "Alright ladies, the trail picks up, up there." The girls looked where she was pointing. The trial had stopped and picked up a little down the river. "Now we are going to free climb down this cliff, it's about 40 feet, and then swim down to where the trail picks up."

Macy looked over the edge, "Is it safe to pencil dive in?"

Leah too looked over the side, "I've only heard of two people having done it and one of them broke their leg in like ten places, so I wouldn't recommend it."

"But is it forbidden?" Macy asked.

"Yes." Brittany and Santana said at the same time.

Quinn turned to see them both standing with their arms crossed. She made a face at them and while Britt laughed, Santana's frown deepened.

Leah laughed, "While it's not advised, it is also not forbidden."

"Well, I know we are going to pick a team captain at the end of this hike, what if the person who gets to the dinner base first is team captain?" Macy asked.

"I guess the first question is, does anyone else want to be team captain?" Leah asked.

Even though Quinn was the youngest on the team all eyes flew to her. Most of these girls had been at this camp together for years and knew that Quinn was usually a captain and a good one at that. The only eyes that Quinn cared about were locked on her own. She tore away and walked over to the side of the cliff to look down. Santana wanted to scream and shout, but she knew that Quinn needed to make this choice for herself.

"I do want to be team captain of course," She looked back over the side of the cliff, she turned back to the team. "But I don't want it badly enough to risk not being able to cheer."

"Probably for the best, we don't want a scaredy cat as our team captain." Macy teased.

Quinn shrugged. "I think that's a very smart and mature choice, Quinn." Leah praised. "Alright, so Macy looks like you're our team captain, wanna start the climb down?"

"Sure, once Quinn admits she's a scared little baby, who is too young for this team." Macy said.

"Macy!" Leah scolded, "We build each other up, and you know that." If there was one thing that Quinn had always been insanely insecure about, it was her age. She knew that people had summer birthdays and so having a September birthday wasn't that big of a deal, but it always felt like it.

Santana watched Quinn look back over the side, and wondered if that jibe would be what put her over the top.

"Quinn…" Brittany said.

"Why don't you jump first Macy? If you don't break all of your bones, maybe I will follow."

Macy's face colored at that, she didn't feel like she could back down from that. "Why don't we jump together?"

Quinn shook her head, "Why don't we just climb down as planned, we have what looks like a mile to swim, and another few miles of running still."

"Fine," Macy said. She looked to where Leah had pointed and started the climb down. The other girls followed. The cliff literally deposited them into the water and between the arguing and the run, Quinn was grateful for the cool water on her skin.

They swam the mile to shore, and Quinn laid down in the grass and closed her eyes for a minute. "I told you to eat." Santana told her.

"I know."

"Are you okay to run the rest of the way?" Quinn opened her eyes and noticed the rest of the girls all laying out too, including Leah. She knew they had some time to relax. Santana was sitting up next to her.

"I'm going to have to be, that's where the food is." Quinn said, smirking.

Santana looked around to make sure they had a good distance from everyone but Britt, who had just flung herself down on top of Quinn, resting her head on the girls stomach. "I'm proud of you for not rising to Macy's bait."

"Here, here." Britt agreed.

"Thanks," Quinn said, shutting her eyes. She could still feel Santana's eyes on her. "Since, I am going to get in trouble for breaking the rules do I get a reward for keeping them?"

"Rules?" Britt asked, not having heard the earlier conversation.

"We will tell you later." San and Quinn said at the same time.

Britt smiled, she liked that they both still included her.

"No Quinn, not flinging yourself off a cliff to your death should be expected behavior, not rewarded behavior." Santana told her.

"I think not punching Macy in the face is reward behavior." Britt said.

Santana rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile at the corners of Quinn's lips tugging up. Her hand reached down and brushed Quinn's creamy leg poking out from under her shorts.

"How are you not exhausted?" Quinn asked, poking open one eye.

"I ate my lunch…" Santana said.

Quinn lifted her arm up and waved it lazily above her head, "So did these people."

San laughed, "I don't know just stronger than you I guess."

At that both of Quinn's eyes flew open. She pushed Britt off of her, "Race you there!" And with that she was off.

Santana laughed and jumped up after her. Britt watched lazily from her spot as some girls jumped up to join them and some stayed.

Quinn was happy when they made it to the site where they were having dinner. The other groups walked most of the hike, so they wouldn't be there for at least another hour to two hours. But the camp understood the athlete's metabolisms and the first thing the girls saw was a snack table.

"Not a bunch of crap," Santana cautioned.

Quinn turned to her uncertainly, "Do you think I'm getting fat?"

"No! I just know after all of that expenditure your body is lying and saying it wants sugar. Mine is too." When Quinn still looked unsure, Santana pressed on. "I was telling myself more than you."

Quinn nodded and reached out to grab an apple and a cheese stick.

"You didn't eat much lunch Fabray and dinner won't be for a few hours, at a minimum grab a protein shake too." Leah told her.

"Yes ma'am." Quinn said, reaching out for the drink. S grabbed the same and a bag of Quinn's favorite sun chips for them to split. Fifteen minutes later, Britt plopped herself down next to them. "Slow poke," Quinn teased.

"It was supposed to be a marathon, not a sprint." Britt said, taking a bite of the chocolate bar that she had grabbed. "Have you scouted out the games?"

"No, we were waiting for you." S told her.

"Volleyball seems fun." Britt said. They watched Macy walk up the net that had just been put up. "Or we could just tumble in the grass." The girls went from aerial cartwheels to standing back tucks, just playing around. By this time a few other teams had showed up and were both watching and joining into the girl's fun. This was Quinn's favorite thing about cheer camp, it was free flowing creativity with structure.

Santana and Britt threw Quinn up in the air as Leah was walking by. "Hey, you guys know better, the little kids will be here soon, you need three people as a base if you are going to stunt like that, and…"

"Nothing higher than a level 4 skill when a coach isn't present." The girls repeated the rule they had heard for many years.

"Good, thank you. Good stomach control though Quinn." She praised before walking away.

Macy came up then with a few of her friends from the Tiger team. "I bet you can't do a roundoff, back handspring, whip, back tuck."

"You're right, she can't a running stunt like that is a level 6 minimum." Santana said.

"Besides it's not the best to do on the grass." Britt added.

"I can do it." Macy said.

"But you shouldn't, aren't you a team captain?" San asked.

Macy sighed dramatically, but she didn't want to get into too much trouble. She looked around for something else to challenge Quinn to. "I'm looking for a challenge."

"Look somewhere else." Santana told her.

"Your girlfriend is turning you into a real sissy." Macy taunted.

"Fine," Quinn said. "You want a challenge?" There was a little bit of a hill/rock pile next to them with level spots on the way up. The tallest point maybe being 30 feet up. "Let's climb this and do flips off of it. Whoever gets the highest and does the most advanced flip wins."

"No, Quinn." Santana told her.

"I wasn't asking, S." Quinn climbed up to the first flat spot about 5 feet off of the ground, "Are you coming?"

Macy climbed up after her. Quinn did a front flip, starting off easy and Macy followed behind her. "Quinn." Santana said again. "This feels dangerous."

"That's because it is a little bit." Quinn said. She climbed a little higher until she was about 9 feet up and turned around, making sure to allow enough room from the wall to do a back flip. Quinn landed on her feet, and then turned to watch Macy. Macy didn't space herself as well and her foot clipped the wall, which resulted in her landing wrong on her ankle.

"Okay," Britt said, "Time to stop this."

"No," Macy said. "I'm fine keep going."

Quinn started to climb back up, but Santana pulled on her arm, "Enough, Macy is hurt and you don't need to go get hurt to."

"Let go San." Quinn said. She climbed just a little higher, about 11 feet up and did a simple back tuck.

Macy followed, but the second she hit the ground, she rolled. "God Damnit, Quinn." Santana snapped.

"I'm fine." Quinn said, smirking down at the injured girl.

"Enough," Santana growled. "Go get Leah and a first aid kit so we can wrap her ankle."

Quinn grudgingly went off to get Leah and after wrapping the girls ankle the rest of the night went calmly. The girls all ate out by the fire, practiced some tumbling with the coaches and then made smores. Britt had tried to lift Santana's mood for the first hour, but the girl was seething. Quinn for her part was sitting next to her quietly.

Around ten most of the girls had headed back to camp, there was a walking path that only took about a half hour to get back. Leah came and stood in front of them, "Alright you three, can I trust you to put this fire out and start heading back in about half an hour?"

"Yes." The three girls said.

"The water buckets are over by the dinner table. Quinn, tomorrow try and not fight with Macy, Okay?" Leah said. "I expect more from you."

Quinn hoped that the night would hide her blush, "Yes, Leah, I'm sorry about today."

"Get a good nights sleep girls, our morning run starts at seven." Leah said, before turning to walk back. The three sat in silence for a minute.

"What did we just agree to today?" Santana asked.

"That we weren't going to do anything dangerous." Quinn said.

"Did you hold up your end of that?" Santana asked.

Quinn looked nervously over at Britt. "Do you want me to leave?"

"No, it's too late for you to walk back alone, and you're family." Quinn told her.

"What's happening?" Britt asked uneasily.

"Quinn's about to get a spanking." Santana told her.

Britt stood up, "I'm gonna bring the water buckets closer."

"Stand up, Quinn." Santana said. Quinn stood up. Santana had never spanked someone before but had been on the receiving end of many of them. "Did you hold up your end of that?"

"No." Quinn whispered.

"I think part of that respect thing should be you saying no ma'am when you are in a situation like this." Santana told her.

"No ma'am, I did not hold up my end." Quinn would be lying to say she wasn't anxious, but something did feel very right about this to her.

Santana yanked Quinn over her knees. "I'm going to pull your shorts and panties down."

"Sannnn…" Quinn whined.

Santana gave her two medium swats to each butt cheek. "Yes ma'am."

"Yes ma'am." Quinn whispered.

"Lift your hips." Santana told her.

Quinn obeyed and S pulled her shorts and panties down before starting to spank her with her hand. "You know that putting yourself in danger is never an option." Quinn was quiet, and not responding very much. Santana upped the ante and Quinn squirmed a little but still wasn't acting like she did when Santana had seen her get spanked. She stopped for a moment and looked around them. "Britt, will you hand me one of those sticks we used to roast marshmallows?"

Britt grabbed a stick and handed it to S. "Sorry, Q."

"It's okay, Britt." Quinn said softly.

Three swats in with what was essentially a switch and Quinn was squirming. "I'm only going to give you seven more, Quinn, try to be still, I'm new at this and I don't want to hit you somewhere I'm not supposed to."

"I…I'll try." Quinn said meekly.

Santana landed four more swats to Quinn's bottom, two to her sit spots, and two high up on her thighs so they wouldn't show under her shorts. Quinn was crying by the end. "Are you going to put yourself in danger again?"

"No ma'am." Quinn cried. Britt had started dumping water on the fire, and she coughed between her sobs and the smoke.

"Are you going to put your ego in check, baby?" Santana asked, rubbing Quinn's back.

"Yes, Santana, I promise." Quinn told her.

"Okay, lift up again." Quinn whimpered but lifted so that S could right her panties and shorts. "Let's get you into some looser sleep pants."

She stood up, and Quinn stood too on shaky legs. She knew that it had to be the emotion, because Quinn had taken much harder spankings with much less fanfare. They made sure the fire was out and walked back to their cabin. Leah was sitting on the steps talking to Julia, another leader. "Oh good, you're back on time."

"Did you doubt us?" Quinn asked, laughing.

"You are unruly high schoolers now." Leah said. "Everyone else is already asleep, so go in quietly. Goodnight, ladies."

They watched her and Julia walk back towards the leader cabins. After changing, Quinn hesitated by the ladder to the bunk her and Britt were sharing. "Can I sleep with you?"

Santana, who had already crawled into bed, lifted her covers and Quinn dove in. "So?"

"It was intense, but I feel like it felt right." Quinn said honestly.

"Me too." Santana told her.

"I uh…I also think it will probably work best with very clear boundaries, and understanding of rules and who is in control." Quinn whispered.

"You don't want to switch?" S asked, smiling into her neck.

Quinn moved so that she was lying on her stomach. "No, it felt right for you to take charge, is that okay?"

Santana started to softly rub Quinn's bottom. "I would prefer it that way. But I want to add that I expect to be obeyed, Quinn."

"I understand. It will be a little bit of a learning process though." Quinn said.

"For both of us." Santana assured her.

"Did I do good?" Quinn asked insecurely.

"So good," Santana cooed into her ear. "My good, good girl."

"Those may be my new favorite words." Quinn told her, starting to drift to sleep.

"Then I endeavor to say them to you often." Santana told her, continuing to rub the sting out until Quinn fell asleep. Santana fell asleep soon after, content with the knowledge that things would be fine.
