Hi guys, I'm so sorry for the really long wait. I had a bad case of writer's block. From now on I will post at least once a week.
"Get up! Now!" daina yelled as loud as she could as she flew to the campsite.
Everyone woke up groggy and irritated, however they were wide awake once they caught sight of the fearful look on daina's face.
"what's going on?" vidia asked, still highly irritated. "There is something coming. I don't know exactly what, but it's one huge creature" Daina replied.
There was a sudden deafening roar, followed by the sound of movement. There was a rustling of leaves before a creature entered the clearing. It had four large paws, and its furry body was the size of the trees. It was like a tiger or bear but much larger. It had a long tail which had razor sharp spikes on it. It had teeth as sharp as knives which shined in the moonlight. It had two black eyes like beads that shined with hunger. The creature loomed ever nearer and let out a menacing growl.
The group of fairies and sparrowmen stood frozen, shivers running down their spine. Against this monster they seemed miniscule. The only person who seemed unfazed by any of this was vidia. She just stood there inspecting her nails, waiting for someone to realize that they needed to do something. Fast.
The creature was approaching and looked delighted at the prospect of having a snack. It was mere feet away when daina snapped back into reality.
"Now would be a good time to run." Daina said. "Well what else are we going to do? make soup?" vidia sarcastically commented. Daina glared at her. "Do you have a better idea?" daina asked. "As a matter of fact, I do!" vidia answered. "Guys!" milori yelled. "If you haven't noticed we are about to get eaten!"
at milori's comment, vidia snapped into action. she created a hurricane around the creature. Then she turned to milori and snowflake. "Can either of you freeze the hurricane?" vidia asked. "of course, we can!" Snowflake quickly froze the hurricane per vidia's request.
Vidia turned to daina. "You were saying?" daina rolled her eyes and pointed at something behind vidia's back. More creatures had run into the clearing and began to crack the ice. Once the trapped creature was free, they all began advancing on the group. There were about five in total.
"What are we going to do?" readleaf asked. "guys" sunflower spoke up. She had been surprisingly quiet through the whole ordeal. They all turned to sunflower. The creatures were now mere feet away from them. Daina recited something under her breath, and a shield appeared, protecting them, for now. She then turned to sunflower. "What is that around their necks?" sunflower asked. Everyone automatically turned their heads towards the creatures. They had iron necklaces/chains around their neck. It had some sort of mark that looked a lot like fire.
"This is bad. Really, really bad." Daina said.

Morgana was watching the scene before her in great delight. Her plans were working. She had spent years gathering an army of serpena. They were highly useful and were virtually indestructible. She had sent 5 of them to go collect her enemies as her patience had run thin. She held her own chain and whispered something. Her eyes turned a fiery green as she spoke. "Bring me the two fairies in purple and the flightless one" she demanded. And that was what happened.
