Author's Final Notes:
Hey, so, I have a bit that I wanted to explain regarding a decision that I'm making for the rest of the Dark Times story. So, you may have noticed when you saw the story on whichever site you're reading this on that the story is marked as complete, but don't worry, it doesn't mean what you think it means.
The story is not over. In fact, it is far from finished. The whole reason that I'm marking this story as complete is that the remainder of the story has a much different tone and a very different focus, so in my mind, it didn't make sense for it to stay on one doc.
Of course, this means that you'll have to look for the new story, but if you follow me on Instagram, you'll know when it's out and bookmarking it will be easy. For those of you who don't want to or can't follow me on Instagram, but want to continue reading in the future, I recommend following me as an author on whatever site you're on, that way you'll get a notification when I post the new story. It'll be titled "Lunar Eclipse," so just look out for that and you should be good.
I can't tell you exactly when the first chapter of this new story will be out, but it won't be super long. I still have another month of break before I start college and even then I should have plenty of time to write. The only real issue is my attention span, but I've been getting better at focusing on writing, so even that shouldn't really be an issue.
So yeah, that's pretty much all I have. As I expressed in the last chapter's author's notes, I greatly appreciate everyone who has gone on this ride with me and I can't wait to keep writing this story!
