Chapter 2
Luffy sat at the docks with a large grin on his face. He was now 12 years old and his beloved was coming to the island with her sensei as he had business here. What he didn't know and didn't give a damn. He was going to get to see Zoro. That was all that mattered to him at that very moment.
"Hey Lu, we have been looking for you." Said Ace as he and Sabo came up walking behind the raven hair boy.
Luffy looked back at his two brothers that had been walking up to the docks where he was quietly sitting and waiting for the ship that was bring Zoro and her sensei. "Oh, sorry about that. I forgot to tell you." He began to tell them as Sabo cut him off.
"Forgot to tell us what?" Asked Sabo arching a blonde brow at his baby brother.
Luffy grinned when he saw the ship closing in on the village. "That Zoro is coming to visit along with her sensei as he has business here. What we don't know. But I don't care." He told his two brothers.
Ace had a cocky grin on his face as he was now 15 years old the same age as Sabo. "Well we can't wait to meet this mystery girl of yours Lu." He told his baby brother in a teasing tone.
Luffy looked back at Ace as his eyes flashed crimson behind his orange tinted sunglasses that once belong to Alucard.
Alucard just laughed. "He is always frighten by your eyes changing colors. I wonder why?" He question with an evil smirk on his face.
'Most likely from one of the kings of the forest scared the shit out of him as a kid with their glowing eyes at night.' Luffy told him with the same evil smirk on his face.
"Ace we should go hunting at night again." Said a smirking Luffy as he saw his older brother pale at this.
"Nah, Lu it's too dangers and you'll get eaten again." Said Ace trying to play off his fear will switching blame to the one time of Luffy almost getting eaten by a large tiger.
"Aww…But I was hoping to get a tiger skin for Zoro as a gift or something." Luffy told Ace with a whine in his voice as Sabo just snickered as he knew the truth for, they both almost got eaten by a large bear their first night alone in the forest.
Ace shot Sabo a glare telling him to shut up without words as the blonde just calm his laughter and looked at Luffy. "Ace is right. It's best to hunt during the day." He tried telling the boy.
Luffy pouted. "You two are no fun. I'll just ask Zoro to go night hunting." He told them crossing his arms.
"Sure, I'll go night hunting with you. It's the best time to hunt." Said a girl's voice from behind Luffy as the two older brother's eyes widen in shock as they see the girl for the very first time in person. The one that has been writing their brother for a few years now and is his girlfriend.
There before the boys stood a green hair girl with her hair going down past her butt with it done in several braids and a high pony tail. Her silver eyes with light emerald flicks looked over the two boys standing behind Luffy. She had on a black skirt with leggings going to her knees and a black top with fishnet long sleeves and three swords at her sides and finishing off her look was a pair of black boots going up to her knees and black finger less gloves with a the golden choker and three golden earrings in her right ear as well as golden cuff bracelets.
Luffy grinned walking up to Zoro and pulling her into a hug as a man with black hair slowly fading into gray walked passed the two kids with two bags in his hands. He stopped and looked at the raven hair boy hugging his student. "Zoro. Meet me at the Party Bar at sundown. For we are staying there for the week. I have business here." He told the girl.
"Yes, Sensei." Said Zoro as she looked over Luffy's shoulder to her teacher.
The man smiled and walked into the village.
"You figured he would stop and ask who I was." Said Luffy with a large smirk on his face.
"I know. But I think he is tired of hearing about you from me and he has seen pictures of you in my room." Said Zoro with a large smile on her face.
Luffy laughs and kisses Zoro's forehead. "I have truly missed you my Swords Mistress." He whispered into her ear.
"I know. I have missed you as well my Pirate King." Whispered Zoro into his ear as they both pressed their foreheads together.
Walking up behind Zoro was a large white wolf missing an eye and a large black wolf. "So, this is the boy?" Asked the large white wolf as both Ace and Sabo froze hearing the large beast speak.
Zoro turns and looks at the white wolf with a smile on her face. "Yes, this is him Ares." She told the white wolf.
The now named Ares looks at the boy from head to toe and nods his head. "He does reek of that bastard. But I wouldn't expect anything less." He said with a toothy grin.
Inside of Luffy's mind Alucard grinned as he knew that damn wolf. "So Ares still alive. I see I did take his eye." He said with laughter as Luffy's eyes widen a little from shock. 'So you know this wolf here?' He asked a little shocked.
Alucard grinned. "Yes, I had to deal with a pack of wolves making trouble and Ares was the only one to make it out alive. I think I let him live for he was fun to play with. After that he went into hiding never to be seen again. Well until now." He told the young boy with his devilish grin.
'I see. Well it appears he doesn't make anymore trouble after his run in with you. For Grandpa would have spoken about wolf attacks on Zoro's Island. As he tells us stories about all the Islands in the East Blue.' Said Luffy with a smirk.
Alucard just grins not saying a word.
"We are going to hunt. The food on the ship wasn't that great and the meat we had brought with us went to quick." Said Ares as he glares at the black wolf sitting next to him.
"I did say sorry. I get scared when sailing." Whined the black wolf.
Luffy grinned. "Have fun hunting one of the forest Kings. They are larger than normal animals and should feed you for a few days. Unless your like myself and my brothers that's just dinner." He told the two wolves with a grin.
Ares just nodded his head as he got up on all fours and ran into the forest as the black wolf followed after him.
"How in the hell can they talk?" Asked Ace as he looked at Zoro and to Luffy.
Zoro just giggled. "The wolves on my island are special. As long as I could remember they always talked to me." She told the raven hair boy as the blonde just dumbly nodded his head.
After his out burst Ace walked up to Zoro with a smirk on his face. "I am Lu's eldest brother Portgas D. Ace and his is our older brother Sabo." He said grinning looking down at her as Ace was almost 6ft. tall.
Zoro looked up at him as she stood at 5'9. "I know. Luffy has told me a lot about you two in our letters. I feel like I have known you two for a while." She told him.
Sabo walked up next to Ace is he is the same height as Ace and smiles at Zoro. He nods his head. "It is a pleasure to meet you Zoro. I am glad there is someone out there that can put a smile on our little brother's face." He told her with a grin on his face.
Zoro smiled at him. "It is nice to meet you as well." She told him.
"So, Lu are you going to show me around?" Asked Zoro as she smiles at her boyfriend who standing next to her looking down grinning.
"Sure, we can and maybe we can go to High Town as well." Said Luffy with a grin as he still had money from the bounty that Garp gave all three boys.
"Sounds like fun. We can have a nice date." Said Zoro with a grin on her face. She looks over at the two older boys hoping they got the hint not to tag along with the two of them.
But Ace and Sabo both looked shocked at the two younger teens. 'What the hell? Is she trying to get us to leave?' they both thought as one.
"See you two later guys." Said Luffy with a grin as they two walked off into the village.
"Sabo." Said Ace.
"Yeah, Ace." Asked Sabo.
"What the hell just happen?" Asked Ace.
"I don't know Ace." Said Sabo as they just stood there like fools.
They just looked at each other and looked back at the two as they vanished down the dirt road.
Eve of Luffy's 17th Birthday
Dadan looked at the tall lacky boy standing before her. "Are you ready to set sail in the morning brat?" She asked him with a soft smile on her face.
"Yeah, I'm ready Dadan-mama. But I will be missing you and everyone else." Said Luffy as he walked up to her and gives her a hug.
Dadan began to tear up. "Alright brat. Get going before you change your mind." She told him as she covered her face with her large hands.
Luffy grinned. "I'll never change my mind. I have Zoro out there waiting for me in Shell Town." He said with a larger grin on his face. He picked up his duffel bag and swung it over his shoulder and looked down at the shorter woman.
"Yeah, yeah that girlfriend of yours that left your brother's shocked." Said Dadan waving off the boy.
"Alright I'm off." Said Luffy as he waved at Dadan and the bandits with a large grin on his face as he vanished into the forest into the setting sun.
"This will be our last time speaking. But I will always be there to help you in the shadows." Said Alucard with a large grin.
"Thank you Alucard-jiji." Said Luffy with a large smile on his face.
Makino stood outside of the forest waiting for Luffy. She caught sight of a tall figure walking out of the forest before her. There before her was a 6'4 tall Luffy grinning down at her wearing a large black duster that Zoro had sent him earlier that week for his birthday. With his straw hat on and his orange sunglasses. Under the black duster he had on a black long sleeve shirt with black pants somewhat baggy with chains hanging off the belt loops and black boots. Finishing off his look with his white gloves and his guns on his sides and sword on his back.
"Hey Makino-nee-chan." Said Luffy waving at her with his duffel bag on his shoulder.
"Hello Luffy." Said Makino with a large smile on her face. "Come on to the bar for dinner and you can set sail in the morning. We just finished getting your ship stocked with all your supplies you asked for. Mayor Woop Slap was shocked that you had planned better than your brothers." She told him.
Luffy chuckled at this. "Well what kind of Future Pirate King would I be if I didn't plan for my future crew and have a ship ready. I can't just expect someone to give me a ship for free." He told her with a smile on his face as he remembered the Going Merry. 'She was a good Ship. But she wouldn't hold up returning to Skypiea on that knock up stream again. This ship was built to handle anything, and I made sure of that.' He thought to himself.
Makino smiled. "True. As they walked into the bar a little girl with long crimson hair comes running up to Luffy. "Hey Luffy-nii. Are you really setting sail in the morning?" she asked him with a large smile on her face.
Luffy knelt down to the little girl and patted her head. "Yeah, I'll be setting out in the morning Lilo." He said with a grin on his face.
Makino just smiled. She looked down at the letter behind her bar. 'Should I ask Luffy to get this letter to him for me?' She asked herself.
Luffy looked up knowing something was weighing on Makino's mind for a while now. "I'll take him that letter. I'm sure I can find him." He told her.
Makino looked at Luffy with wide eyes. "Are you sure. I don't want to trouble you." She told him.
Luffy waved his hand at her. "Makino you have done a lot for myself and my moron brothers. I can do this for you." He told her with a smile. 'I don't know why I didn't do this last time. All I have to do is ask Mihawk for his number and call the fool and tell him I have a letter for him.' He thought.
Alucard just laughed. 'Boy, the last time around you where not the brightest. So with my help and all the studying I have made you do. I am please to see you will make it farther this time around. Also I will be there when you face that lava bastard once more." He said with a dark sadistic grin on his face.
This was something he and the wolf agreed on. To go to sleep and gather their power to take physical forms to kill that bastard when the time came. That was the only thing that God was allowing them, and they couldn't be happier to do it.
'He isn't getting Ace nor is he getting Sabo this time around.' Luffy growled in his mind as he kept his smile on his face with the two, he was standing in the bar with.
"Well you two come and sit. Dinner is ready." Said Makino as she smiled at the two as she placed to plates down.
Shell Town
Zoro rolled her eyes once more as Captain Morgan's son walked up to her with a bottle of water in his hands.
"If you go out with me. I'll untie you and give you this water." Said Helmeppo with a lecherous grin on his face.
She open one of her silver eyes glaring at him. "I told you yesterday and the day before. I will never go out with you." She growled out at the onion hair boy.
"You don't know what your missing." Helmeppo hissed out at her and turned and walked away with his two Marine bodyguards.
'Why did I dress like a girl again?' Question Zoro to herself. For the last time around she was dressed as a man in her hair pulled into a low ponytail. 'Right. For I am not a shame of being a girl this time around and I will become the greatest once more. I will kick Mihawk's ass this time around.' She told herself as a lazy grin play across her face as she spotted her two wolves running up to her with water and some food for her.
"Dante you should have waiting until dark." Said Zoro glaring at the black wolf.
"No one is watching, and we can hear your stomach from a mile away." Growled out Dante as the silver wolf next to him nodded his head as well.
Dante is right. We can't allow our Princess to starve. Even if she is waiting for her little Prince to save her." Said Jax with a grin on his face.
Zoro blushed and glared at the two of them. "Shut up." She hissed out at them as they helped her drink some water and eat what little they could get her.
Out at Sea
Luffy spotted the cruise ship that he met Coby on last time. A small smile played across his lips as he sailed around the ship in it's blind side so Alvida's men wouldn't see him. As well as be out of her line of fire.
"Ahoy there!" Called Luffy to two sailors leaning against the railing of the large ship.
The two men look over at the very tall man calling to them. "Ahoy there. What can we do for you?" Question one of the men.
Luffy had a ghost of a smirk on his lips. "I got lost and lost my compass to the sea when a seaking appeared before me. I would like to know if your Ships Captain had an extra one, I could buy from him." He told them in a half lie as the King of the Coast did try to attack him as he was leaving.
The other sailor nodded to him. "I'll go and find the Captain and ask him." Said the man as he ran off.
The other sailor looked back at Luffy. "There has been more Seaking's coming here from the Calmbelt. Makes me wonder if hunting isn't that good for them or something." Said the man as he throw a rope to Luffy to help him onto the ship as Luffy tired the rope to his own ship.
"I don't know. All I can remember as a kid we have had a Seaking protecting our village from the coast from Pirates and other low lives." Said Luffy with a smile.
The other man just nodded his head as he saw his Captain walking up with the other man with what looked like a compass in his hand.
"My sailor told me you had some trouble with a seaking and lost your compass?" Asked the Captain.
Luffy nodded his head. "Yes, I had a large strange seaking that looked like a bird attack me just a day ago and I have been trying to make my way to Shell Town." He told the Captain.
The Captain nodded his head. "Here take this. I hope it will aid you until you can get a better one. This is my old one that I have been just holding onto." He told the man before him.
"Thank you." Said Luffy pulling out some money to pay the old Captain.
The man held up his hand. "Don't worry about it. I know how it is to be lost at sea and I always try to help other sailors out where I can." Said the Captain with a smile on his face.
Just as Luffy was going to jump back to his ship a cannonball came sailing past his head nearly hitting him.
"PIRATES! WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!" Yelled a man from the Crowsnest.
Luffy frowned at this. Alvida was going to pay now for almost taking his head off. "Allow me to aid you with your pirate trouble." He told the Captain.
The Captain nodded his head as he was shouting out orders as he ran to get a run to protect his passages from the damn ugly sea witch Alvida who believes she is beautiful.
Luffy pulls out his two guns and grins as he beings firing at the cannonballs that are sailing towards him. They explode in midair as his bullets impact on them.
"BOARD THAT SHIP AND TAKE OUT WHOEVER IS BLOWING UP MY CANNONBALLS!" Yelled Alvida as she glared at the ship before her.
Luffy smirks and put his guns away as he goes for a nice little stroll down to the kitchen of the ship. For that is where he met his little pink hair friend. Pushing open the door he saw a barrel sitting in the middle of the room. 'Hmm…should I?' He wonder to himself and then shook his head. 'Nah., I want to see their faces when they see me.' He thought with a dark grin on his face as his shadows wrapped around him and pulled him into the corner of the kitchen as Coby walked into the kitchen looking around.
From the shadows Luffy open his eyes watching the boy shakenly looking around kitchen. "This is a large barrel of sake. I think Alvida would like it and maybe she will let me free." He said to himself.
As he was going to push it over three fools walked into the kitchen. "What do you have there Coby?" Question fool 1. (Yeah, I'm not naming them.)
"J-just a barrel of sake for Lady Alvida." Said Coby with a slight stutter.
'Man grandpa really did beat the chicken out of him.' Thought Luffy with a sweat drop as he watched the pink hair teenager. He let out a sigh as he took a step out of the shadows.
"Hello." Said Luffy with a crazed grin on his lips. Something he had learned from Alucard to scare people with. It really did work on his two brothers and a few people in Low Town.
The three men froze as they look behind Coby with fear in their eyes. "Who-who are you?" Asked fool 2.
Luffy just grinned even larger. "I'm just helping the Captain protect his ship from morons like yourself and the whale you call Captain." He said with a larger grin as the three grew pale at what Luffy had called Alvida to their faces.
Coby slowly but shakenly turned around to looked at the man that stood behind him. His eyes growing wide at the sight before him as Luffy looked down at him with a grin on his face as his eyes flashed crimson before going back to their normal chocolate brown with a tint of crimson to them.
Luffy just smiles at the pink hair boy. Before looking at the three other fools. "I would advise you leave this ship before it turns ugly." He smirked putting a gloved hand up to his chin grinning even more. "Well even uglier than it is now with Alvida on board." He told them as they took off running like dog's with their tails between their legs.
"Who-who are you?" Question Coby with fear lacing his voice.
Luffy grinned as he turned around and looked around the kitchen for something to eat. As he was now growing hungry from dealing with morons. He look over his shoulder. "I'm Monkey D. Luffy." He said with a grin on his face as he looks at Coby was, he walks to the door before him. He open it and walked into the food storage.
Coby followed after him. "You should get out of here. Lady Alvida will kill you." He told the man before him.
Luffy just shrugged his shoulders. "Oh well. I am not scared of a beached whale." He said as he picked up an apple and began eating it.
"So are a Marine or something?" Question Coby as he sat on the steps.
Luffy looked over his shoulder at the boy. "I'm a Pirate and I'm on the way to Shell Town to pick up my first-mate that is also my girlfriend." He said with a grin.
Coby looked at Luffy with shock written all across his face. "Wow." Was all he could say to the man before him.
"So kid why are you stuck with the beach whale and her loser crew?" Asked Luffy as he already knew the story.
As Coby began his sad little sob story Luffy was in his own little world. 'I think I'll give grandpa a call once I hit Shell Town and let him know that, that douchebag Morgan is abusing his power and killing innocent Marines and towns people and get that stupid son of his to grow a pair of balls while I'm at it.'
"But I really want to be a Marine." Said Coby as he looks at Luffy with hope in his eyes.
Luffy nods his head and grins. "That is a good dream to have." He said.
"What is your dream Luffy?" Asked Coby a little shyly. Looking at the tall man.
Luffy grin at him. "I'm going to be Pirate King." He said with a proud grin on his face.
Coby's jaw hung open with shock on his face. "But-but you can't. It's-it's imposable….you-you can't…." He began before Luffy bopped him on the head with his fist.
"Ouch! What was that for?" Asked Coby as he rubbed the tender spot on his head.
Luffy looked at him with lazy eyes and shrugged his shoulders. "Just felt like it." He said as he ate another apple as he looked up to the ceiling of the room. He can feel Alvida standing above them listening to the two talking.
"What do you want to do Coby once you become a Marine?" Question Luffy with a slight smirk on his face.
Coby froze there for a few seconds looking at Luffy with a soft smile on his face and nodded his head and balled both his fist looking up at Luffy. "I want to be come a great Marine and capture Alvida's ass and throw her into prison." He said with pride in his voice.
Just as Coby was going to say something. Luffy pulled Coby beside him as the ceiling exploded above them. Standing just above them Alvida looks down at them with a disgusting grin on her face. "Who do you want to arrest Coby?" She asked him with her massive iron club on her shoulder.
"I-I…." Coby froze as he couldn't talk with his fear for the woman that just jumped down though the large hole in the ceiling to stand before them.
Luffy's eyes flashed crimson looking down at the larger woman standing before him.
She looks up at Luffy. "Your not Pirate Hunter Roronoa Zoro." She says glares at him.
Luffy smirks. "Well thanks. But I am not as Sexy as the green hair beauty Roronoa Zoro." He tells her as he waves his hand at her. "But I could gift wrap you for the Marines that are on their way here now." He said with a shit eating grin on his face.
Alvida narrowed her eyes at the man before her. "Your going to die here you stupid boy." She growls out at him.
Luffy beings to laugh like a lunatic. This made Alvida take a step back slowly from the tall crimson eye man standing before her. This was the first time she had truly she had felt fear. Well not since she had a run in with Garp a few years ago.
"What the hell are you?" Demanded Alvida glaring at him trying to hide her fear from her voice and her eyes.
"I am a Gum-Gum man that has the powers of a vampire." Said Luffy flashing her a tooth grin with his vampiric teeth showing.
Alvida took a step back and fell on her ass shaking looking at him. "You're a demon!" She cried out at him.
Luffy just chuckled. "Nah, that was my great, great grandfather a hundred times over." He said with a large grin on his face as he took a step closer to her leaning over and slowly, he reached out his hand down to her slowly picking her up off her ground. Lifting her up to his face. Having them meet face to face. "How about you just vanish." He told her throwing her out of the hole she had jump though and she vanished into the sky.
The pirates and Coby just look at Luffy as he had picked up the 300 pound plus Alvida with no trouble whatsoever.
"What the hell just happen?" Asked Coby just looking at Luffy with freaked out.
Luffy looks down at him with a grin picking him up and jumped up and jumped though the hole. "Well, your now free of the beached whale and I can give you a lift to Shell Town to sign you up to be a Marine." He told the pink hair boy.
"As well. Coby is free of Alvida Pirates." Growled out Luffy as his sunglasses slid down his nose and glared at him with his eyes glowing crimson as his shadows lift off the ground dancing around him as it took forms of wolves and other creatures scaring the shit out of all the pirates that they ran away jumping onto Alvida's ship.
Luffy looks down at Coby. "Ready?" He asked as he walks over to the side of the ship where his ship is tied to and sees a smaller ship near his with a redhead untying her boat from the larger ship. 'Nami….' Thought Luffy with a sad smile on his face as he jumps down on to his ship with Coby under his arm.
The girl looks over at the other ship with the man with the pink hair boy under his arm and just looked at him with a little confusion. As the tall man grins at her and waves as if he knew her.
"Well Coby let's go. To Shell Town for my first-mate awaits for me." Said Luffy with a large grin on his face.
I'm going to leave off here and pick up on the 3rd Chapter with Shell Town and Luffy and Zoro seeing each other for the second time since waking up in the past.
