Chapter 10

Luffy looks at the Marine Captain standing before him. He cocks a brow as the rat bastard stops before them at the Gates of Arlong Park. HIs eyes move past the bastard and towards his men who are grinning at them with their weapons resting on their shoulders. Ready to attack at any second. Behind them are the villagers keeping as far from them as they didn't know what was about to happen and knew it would be best to keep away from them.

Ace and Sabo move to stand next to their brother as Zoro narrows her eyes as the Captain leers at her. His nasty eyes racked up and down her body. As Sanji stands next to Sabo plucking his cigarette from his lips blowing out a cloud of smoke.

"What brings the Marines here?" Questions Luffy tilting his head to the right.

"I am Captain Nezumi of the 16th branch of the East Blue." Said Captain Nezumi with a grin on his face. As now his eyes travel to the others standing before them. His eyes freeze on the two White Beard Pirates. "What are two members of a Yanko crew doing here in the East Blue?" He demanded of the Division Two Commanders standing before him and his troops. As the troops standing behind him began trembling in their boots.

Ace and Sabo grin looking at each other and back at the coward standing before them. "We are here visiting our baby brother." Said Ace as he and Sabo clasp their hands on the raven hair man wearing a straw hat.

Nezumi's eyes widen as they land on the man that they are clasping the shoulders too. "Who are you?" He questions Luffy with a hint of fear in his voice.

"I am Straw Hat Monkey D. Lucifer. But otherwise known as Luffy." He tells the man with a creepy grin on his face as his orange sunglasses slide down his nose slightly for his black eyes flashing crimson slightly. "These people here are my crew. As well as my two brothers." He said grinning even larger with his fangs showing.

Zoro smirks looking at the Captain standing before them that is now pissing his pants. "Why do you look so frightened of just Rookie Pirates?" She questions fainting innocence to the man standing before them all.

Nezumi's beady eyes move over to the greenette standing with the raven-haired man wearing the red duster. "You're the crew I have heard of from Iron Fist." He said. "As well as your Captain there Luffy was created with the takedown and capture of Ax hand Morgan, Alvena, as well as the not so dead Captain Kuro as well as Krige." He said, pointing a finger at Luffy.

Luffy grins at Nezumi. "Ah…that is true." He said with a grin on his face.

Nezumi pales even more. "But…but….why is something as strong as you here in the East Blue?" He asked with a trembling voice.

"Luffy grins even larger. I am here picking up my crew." Said Luffy spreading her arms out wide.

Nezumi's eyes travel across the green hair woman, another raven hair man with long curly hair, and finally the blonde hair man with a curly brow and finally landing on the woman he was going to steal all her money from. "These people?" He questions looking at four people here?" He questions not sure where this is going.

Zoro grins at him. "Yes, the future Pirate King does need the best of the best to be his crew." She said as Nezumi fell to his ass from fear. The villagers still hiding are hearing everything that is being said by everyone there.

Sanji pulls out a new cigarette from his pack that he had taken from his breast pocket. Before he is able to pull out his lighter Ace moves his lit hand and lights the cigarette for the blonde hair man. Taking a long drag from the cigarette he blows it out of his nose. "What? Do you think everyone from the East Blue is weak?" He questions the fools before them.

Nami takes a step forth. "These two here are the second division commanders of the White Beard Pirates. They are from here in the East Blue." She tells Nezumi as he is now white as a ghost. "So do not think we are weak." She tells him as lighting cracks in the clear sky above them.

"MEN GET THEM!" Yells Nezumi as he tries to get himself back up on his shaky legs.

Luffy grins as he takes a step forth unleashing a powerful wave of King's Haki on the troops of branch 16.

Everyone's eyes widened at the sight of the Marine's falling to the ground with foam coming out of their mouths.

Genzo comes out of the woods surrounding Arlong Park slowly walking up to them with Nami's sister Nojiko following behind him. "What happened here?" Questions Genzo looking at Nami as his eyes do travel to Luffy with a frown on his face.

Nami's glare fades as a soft smile comes across his lips. As she walks to her father figure and her sister. "It's a long story. But my Captain has come here to free us from the iron clasp of Arlong and these corrupt Marines that have allowed us to suffer for all these years." She tells the two before her. But she makes sure that everyone is able to hear her words as well as the others being able to hear her words.

Everyone slowly came out of the woods slowly moving to join Genxo and Nojko as their eyes moved across the area as they saw the dead bodies of Arlong and his men. Cheers erupt from the villagers at the sight of Arlong being dead as well as his men.

"Usopp got the rope. We have a rat to return to Branch 16 and clean house as well as call Grandpa." Calls out Luffy to his snipper who pulls out a massive amount of rope from his bag. Moving over to the passed out Marines and ties them up with the help of Sanji and Genzo.

"Alright Captain, we are done here." Said Usopp with a grin on his face.

"Alright. Let's load him up and get ready to set sail to their base." Calls Luffy to his crew.

"Aye Captain." Calls the two male members of his crew.

Genzo walks up to Luffy. "Why are you leaving so quickly?" He questions Luffy.

Luffy looks down at the man standing before him. "We are just returning these men and are going to put Arlong and the others on ice to take them to cash in Logtown. But we shall return as I know Nami would like to bring several of her mothers trees on our journey." He tells Genzo puting the scar man to ease.

"Good. Once you return we shall have a party for our heroes." Said Genzo as he turns and walks towards the villagers as he notices Nami and Zoro vanishing into Arlong's home.

Ace and Sabo walk over to their little brother with grins on their faces. "So are we going to be playing with a few Marines?" Questions Sabo with a smirk on his face. "This would also allow me to get some more information for your father." He added looking at Luffy with a sly smirk on his face.

Luffy looks over to his brother and slowly nods his head. "That is fine." He said as he looked over to Ace who knows that Luffy is still having issues with his dad. But Ace does remember that Dragon did his best to try to save Luffy's life when Sabo told him. That Dragon had shown up too late to save Luffy and Zoro. But was able to free the remaining Straw Hats from their horrible fate.

"Well we will cross that bridge when we come to it." Sad face looking away. As he had finally come to terms with his own father. Once he had gotten his memories back.

Sabo catches on and runs his right hand over the back of his head with a sheepish smile on his face. "I'm sorry Lu. I know you and Dragon have had your issues through the years." He said looking down.

Luffy softly smiles at his older brother. "It's okay Sabo. I am just glad he had been a father to you in a past life and is in many ways still a father to you." He said, placing his hand on his brother's shoulder.

Sabo chuckles as he smiles at his little brother. No matter what, I still have a large heart and love for everyone. No matter that he is now a little sadist at times.

Nami and Zoro return with several huge bags over their shoulders. "I have all we need from here." She said grinning at her Captain and his brothers. She looks over to his sister Nojko with a grin on her face. "Sis the money we have hidden away. Share with everyone and yourself." She told her elder sister with a smile on her face.

Nojki smiles at her little sister and nods her head with tears welling up as she quickly turns on her heel and needs to get away before anyone sees her crying.

Alright next time the Attack on Branch 16 and Garp come to visit that branch to lock up a few people on the base.
