Chapter 13

Nami's eyes sparkle once her eyes land upon the safe they had found in a back room. She claps her hands together. "Oh, come to momma." She squeals out with delight.

Sabo quickly moves his hands up to cover his ears as she was standing right next to him. But now is standing before the safe looking it over. "Damn." He whines as he rubs his ears as he glares over towards the insane ginger with Berri symbols replacing her eyes.

Zoro shakes her head at her friend's antics. "She doesn't hear you right now. All she is seeing is the gold, jewels, and Berri's on the other side of that door." She tells him as she pats his back with her right hand.

Sabo shakes his head. "I didn't believe the others when they told me she is greedy. But seeing it first-hand. I now believe them." He tells her as his hear is finally returning to his left ear.

Diving into her own little world Nami taps upon the steel door. As her honey brown eyes slowly studying it. With a huff she spins on her heel, narrowing her eyes upon the rat of a man that is being held under Ace's arm. "What is the combination of the safe?" She demands of the rat as she crosses her arms across her chest.

Ace looking down at the rat that is under his right arm just smirks as he drops him like a sack of potatoes. "Answer her now. For you will not like what will happen if you don't." He tells him still with a devilish grin upon his face.

Trembling he looks up at Ace. "Yes….yes…Sir." He told him in a shaky voice. He slowly turns his head towards the demon ginger standing before the massive safe. "It's….it's 5-65-10." He told her with a trembling voice.

Nami grins clapping her hands together once the massive safe door swings open. "Thank you." She told him as she does a slight jump for joy. Sanji moves towards the door opening it for her. "There you go my Nami-swan." He tells her with massive hearts in his eyes.

Luffy, Ace, and Sabo walk into the safe. Gathering all the gold, Berri's, and jewels that the rat had been given over time as payment to keep away from whatever pirates in his area. After gathering other things held within the safe. Luffy smirks finding five different devil fruits. "Well look at what I had found." He said as he held up the five small treasure chests with the devil fruits.

"Well damn Lu. Maybe find out what they are and see if anyone of your crew wants it or sell them for big bucks." Sabo told him with a smirk upon his face.

Nami walks up to them. "We will see. But I want to know what fruit they are and what the value of them." She told them as everything went into Luffy's shadows.

"Hey Shitty Captain." Sanji calls out to Luffy.

"What is it Sanji?" Luffy questions flashing his fangs at his cook.

"Let's take their supplies. This way I can keep Draco stocked until Loguetown." Sanji told him.

"Yeah that's fine. Take Gin with you and Ace. So, you guys can get everything stocked and loaded." Luffy told them.

"Sure." Sanji said nodding his head to the two that Luffy told him to take.

"With them doing that. I think we should look over their files and raid their armory for supplies." Luffy told them as they nodded their heads in agreement.

"Lu why don't you help Usopp and Zoro with the armory. I'll take Nami with me." Sabo suggests with a smile at his brother.

"Sounds like a plan." Zoro agreed with a grin upon her own face.

Three hours later Luffy and company are seen leaving the base as all the Marine's there are tied up within it's walls. Being kind to them by leaving them inside away from the elements.

"Alright people we have an hour to get away from here. As Garp is on his way." Zoro called out making her brothers-in-law and crew run around along with the wolves to get things packed and stored away quickly.

Two hours later Nami stands in her sister's kitchen. "Nojiko, I love you. But I need to follow my dreams." She tells the bluenette.

Chuckling Nojiko shakes her head at her baby sister's antics. "I don't know what had happen during your time away from the village and about how you made these friends of yours. But little sister I will tell you one thing. I'm proud of you. You are not allowing your past to drive who you have become in just this short amount of time." She tells her sister as she takes a step towards her and pulls her into a hug.

"Mom would have been proud of the woman you have become." Nojiko tells her pulling back from the hug to see the tears rolling down her sister's face.

"Oh Nojiko…if only you knew of some of some of the horror I have seen. But I don't want to pull you into my own personal horror story." Nami tells him with a sad smile.

"It's okay. I…I…know I will never know what you had to go through to get the money you needed to save us. But Nami. When you ever feel like it. Come and talk to me and tell me about it." Nojiko though her own tears rolling down her own cheeks.

"Thank you." Nami tells her pulling her into one final hug.

"I'm sorry to interrupt this hallmark moment. But we need to get going. We have people waiting for us." Zoro calls out from the open doorway she leans against.

Pulling away from her sister, Nami narrows her eyes upon the greenette leaning on the door frame. "Zoro shut up and allow me a few minutes with my sister." She hisses out.

"You been her for about two hours. It is time to go." Zoro hisses back at the ginger.

Nami blinks several times as her eyes widen with horror as she looks towards the clock right next to the door. "Shit! Shit! Shit! I still haven't gathered my trees." She says with stress etched upon her face and her hands moving up towards her hair.

"Calm down. Usopp and Luffy have already gathered the trees. No, they didn't just rip them out of the ground. They dug them up, placed them in pots, and took some dirt to plant them on the ship." Zoro tells her with a snort.

Hearing this Nami pauses. "They did?" She questions the other girl dumbly.

"Yes, that is why I am here. I made sure they didn't screw up." Zoro told her as she pushes off the door frame. "So, let's get going." She orders as she picks up two of the four bags by the doorway.

"Goodbye Nojiko. I'll see you later." Nami tells her sister as she runs towards the door picking up her bags.

"Goodbye Nami." Nojiko calls out waving at her baby sister watching her vanish down the hill to her future. "I'll miss you." She spoke to the air.

At the docks villagers gather around to send off the Pirate crew who had saved their lives and set them free.

Nami and Zoro rush past them as they jump into the air to have Luffy pull them both onto the ship.

"I had been worried you two wouldn't make it in time." Luffy told them both with a large grin upon his face.

"Ye of little fate. How dare you doubt us." Zoro told him with a smirk upon her face.

"No. I have fate in you both. I just worry." Luffy told her with a shit eating grin upon his face.

"Alright. Drop sails. As we are now heading towards Loguetown." Nami calls out with a map appearing in her hands.

With that said everyone went to work to get the ship sailing to their next crew member.
