Chapter Three

About two hours into sailing the mopping was finally complete but now everyone was getting bored with seeing nothing but sea all around. Well except for Knuckles and Blaze as they were in the kitchen and making supper while arguing with each other. Mainly about what goes with what best and how much of this and that they should use. Back up on deck there was a sudden flash of light and a being stood with a confused expression.

"State who you are stranger or face my wrath." Sonic shouted as he came rushing towards the being with suspicion in his narrowed eyes.

"Captain Faker, shut the hell up, you know damn well that is Eclipse and no stranger." Shadow sighed with a shake of his head as he walked calmly over to his Black Arms brother and Sonic.

"O-k what is going on and why are you on a ship dressed up like that?" Eclipse tilted his head slightly as he looked at Shadow.

"Are you playing dress up again brother?" Eclipse smirked with amusement as he seemed to have caused his brother some embarrassment, that blush on Shadows muzzle was a sure give away to that.

"Sh-shut up Eclipse." Shadow hissed with clenched teeth and was glad no one else had come over just yet.

"You play dress up Shads?" Sonic asked as he tried not to laugh out loudly and only managed to calm himself with sniggers instead.

"Shut up and no I don't." Shadow lowly growled for the subject to stop and move on.

"Yeah sure I believe ya Shads." Sonic chuckled as he rolled his eyes at the obvious lie.

"Anyway, it's a long story Eclipse so if you want to be free from being apart of this then flee now or forever live in regret." Shadow warned with a deep frown and crossed arms, still having a faint blush on his muzzle.

"Yeah great idea, we could do with an extra pair of hands around here. Eclipse fancy playing pirates with us? We are travelling the seven seas, finding treasures, annoying strangers and doing whatever we please." Sonic brightly said as he gave Eclipse a begging expression for him to say yes.

"Pirates? You are aware pirates are supposed to be the bad guys right?" Eclipse raised a surprised brow as he was sure Sonic was the hero not an evil pirate of the seven seas, killing and stealing from others.

"Yeah I know that and we are going to be the most badass pirates in the world. So join my scurvy crew and have some fun." Sonic winked as he spoke to Shadows brother.

"What's the harm in joining? Sure but I am not doing any cleaning, cooking or being anyone's personal slave." Eclipse seriously said as he locked eyes with Sonic.

"Oh don't you worry I have my skivvies." Sonic winked as he pointed to Shadow and over at Silver looking out to sea and also looking a little ill.

"You made my brother a skivvy?" Eclipse sniggered as he glanced at a now very enraged Shadow.

"Shut up Eclipse and not a single word from you about this." Shadow growled as he narrowed his anger filled red eyes.

"Oh believe me I'm sure there are others out there who would love to have a little house wife that likes to dress up." Eclipse laughed as he teased Shadow more.

"That is it you are so dead Eclipse." Shadow growled then was held back by Sonic from charging at his brother.

"Calm down Shadow and chill, no one is going to say anything about your little privet games." Sonic sighed as he held Shadow back.

"I swear you are both going to die if word gets out about any of this." Shadow firmly warned as he calmed himself down enough for Sonic to let go of him.

"Come with me Eclipse and I will fill you in on your duties as law enforcement." Sonic deviously grinned at Shadow then motioned Eclipse to follow him to the captains cabin.

"Oh this is just getting better and better, if being blackmailed isn't enough now I have to put up with my insane brother keeping watch to make sure we are all doing our jobs." Shadow thought as he stormed off to see if Silver was feeling any better.

An hour later, in the kitchen…

"I don't think it is supposed to look like that Knuckles." Blaze nervously said as she and Knuckles looked inside the large pot that held chunky chicken and vegetable stew.

"Maybe you are right but it could still taste fine." Knuckles replied then dipped a spoon into the very thick and gloopy substance then pulled it out with slight effort.

Both Knuckles and Blaze sweat-dropped as the wooden spoon began to fizz and bubble a little.

"Erm…lets never speak of this again." Knuckles said nervously as he put the lid onto the metal pot then took it off the heat and dumped it inside one of the empty cupboards to never be seen again or until they got the chance to dump it into the sea later.

"I agree, lets try making something else." Blaze nodded in agreement then she and Knuckles once again got cooking.

With Amy and cream…

"This is boring, I thought it was going to be more fun than just standing up here and looking out at the ocean." Amy complained as she wrapped a blanket around her cold body.

"Yes and much warmer too." Cream said as she shivered in the blanket she had around her.

If you are wondering where Cheese the Chao is, Cream put him in the Chao Gardens for a little holiday. Shadow chaos controlled her to one then chaos controlled them both back to the beach before they set sail. Cream didn't want Cheese to get lost, stolen or ill from the sea adventure. The poor little guy was a wreck after that big space adventure so she thought being out at sea was just as bad as space.
