True oni are a type of ogre that lives in the mountainous regions of Zipangu just like their blue and red counterparts. However, they possess tremendous strength and power compared to them.

A long time ago the true oni used to challenge humans they like into challenging them in any way the humans desire. Should the humans lose then they would be abducted. Of course, humans couldn't match their abilities, and so resorted to underhanded and dirty tactics. Tired of being beaten and tricked the oni stopped trying to go after humans and go to a place where they can't be touched, according to legend.

Most of the true oni originally lived in a large mountain known as Youkai Mountain and were at the top of the hierarchy with the Wolf and Crow Tengu, and the kappa below them. However, the true oni would later leave the mountain and move into Former Hell. Though some would

The true oni's disposition is their strong will and jolly nature. They like to drink, feast, and compete with humans and some mamano because they like to. They are also very honest all the time both in sex and to their husband.

When a true oni finds a man that strikes them fancy or worthy of being considered their husband. Then they won't let him go and will be with them forever. Of course, they will try to get their husband as drunk as they are, then they will have sweet but drunken sex.

When it comes to the blue and red oni, the two colored cousins have respect for their true cousins. The red ones have the respect due to the true oni's strength and power while the blue ones have the respect due to their knowledge. Some true oni even leads tribes of blue and red oni as well.

True oni are one of if not the strongest monster girl race out there. Easily having the highest magical and physical prowess out of the other mamanos.

True oni have regular skin like normal humans but with either one or two horns of their race. Their hair and eye color vary wildly alongside their body physique which is either a mature or loli type.

The most powerful oni are Suika Ibuki, Yuugi Hoshiguma, Kasen Ibaraki, and Konngara, which are a part of the defunct group known as the Four Devas of Youkai Mountain.

Suika is currently out in the world trying to find herself a husband while drinking and fighting along the way. She is the one who gave control of Youkai Mountain to the leader of both the Wolf and Crow Tengu of the mountain, Tenma.

Yuugi is in Former Hell with the true oni either throwing parties or feasts with them and like her fellow former Deva hasn't found a husband yet. She and the other oni in Former Hell are coexisting peacefully (sort of) with the satori living in the Palace of the Earth Palace, Satori and Koishi Komeiji.

Kasen is the more polite and kind of the Devas, she lives in a dojo in Youkai Mountain hidden by anyone. She is still considered an oni by the other oni including the devas.

Konngara was given a piece of Hell to rule over by the most powerful of the Elder Hell Gods, Hecatia Lapislazuli. Like all of her fellow former devas, she doesn't have a husband yet.
