REMAIN NAMELESS
Sagi remained silent as she got up for school. Seeing the senior across from the room gave her an uneasy feeling. Her stomach coiled as the throat starts to tighten.
Why the hell did she have to be in the same room as this horrid demon?
Up to this point it was too late to argue with anyone. A part of her wished she could talk to her sister about it, but every time she mentions her dislike for the school, her sister would rarely speak to her. Her mother would give a notion of praise of how much Alexia enjoyed her time here, and that she should give it a chance. The Yurenkasykuya family were a well off at this point. Her father went into a new venture with a man named Rino. Plans for the business would give their family a higher status in society, and it was the only subject of importance in the eye of her parents. Her sister is considered the golden child. She did wonder why her sister changed her name from Galexia to Alexia. The only thing she could think of was that it pleased their family as well as her fiance. Sagi never understood it, and in honesty, she started not to like her sister's choice, though she could not pinpoint her finger now. But now is a grave matter of reality. She swallowed the lump in her throat as moved into the restroom, which was left by Kou just now.
Unbelievable.
The senior smirked in her head as she soothed her temple. What a night, and it was just the beginning of a long journey to hell. Kou slammed things on the dresser table as her hair was fixed into her long pony tail. Those dark midnight sapphire hues, which was beautifully enhanced by dark black mascara and a sheer golden eye shadow, hardened into steel. Her fists tightened and relaxed as she remembered Taiki's advice along the warning on them and the others by Lady San in regards to that person in the bathroom. Goddess only knows why she loathes her with a passion... that sophomore, the one who placed Nair on her friend's hair, Elsa, causing her to lose all of her beautiful strands. That demon is also the one that supported Makoto, covering up for her with that dumbfounded substitute teacher at gym, getting her and Haruka to serve detention even though Makoto called them a dyke. Sarah Sama was right. Thank Goddess she decided not to approach her when she first saw her.
Damn her to fucking hell. Sakuya, why did you leave?
A knock was heard on the door as Seiya spoke out loud.
"Yeah?"
Her voice even lacked warmth. Sagi combed her hair back into a bun as the door opened, hearing her roommate's friend's voice. Must be the same girl that stood by her yesterday. So far, no one said anything to each other. As long they remained distant, the sophomore thought in her head, it was a fine arrangement.
As long as they remained distant, the senior thought in her head, there would be no danger. "We need to get going." Taiki said as Seiya breathed. "Coming." Her voice lacked any animation. Usually the black haired beauty would tell jokes in the morning, but today she was not the mood. Her friend looks at the bathroom and then at Seiya, motioning to her about her reaction right now. The black haired beauty shook her head as she got dressed and looked at herself in the mirror.
"Not even in thought, don't want to be poisoned all day thinking shit."
Sagi remained inside the bathroom as the seniors spoke. Once they were done and ready, they left the room. A sigh of relief escaped her lips as she went into the alienated room. It felt so different. Even looking at the empty beds, there was an uneasy unwelcoming warmth. She rarely slept well. Why in the world did Lady San have to make this atrocious arrangement? What possessed her to think that this would be a grand idea? She never understood this system. She never understood this school, period. Oh she did wish she was gone. Sagi gasped at the clock as she gathered her things and left in a hurry. Always late. Paprika San is kind, but she very strict on tardiness. At least the Senior Quarters were closer to the school, for that she was extremely grateful. She thought of how that black haired senior managed to have everything in perfection. Even though she slept late, and Sagi knew because she could have sworn that senior spoke to her in the middle of the night, whispering about some dream, until that person cursed at the realization of her presence, that senior always seem to have everything together. She swallowed the lump in her throat as she entered the school. That black haired girl...
Damn Her to Hell. Yuuki, where are you?
…
Sarah chewed on her gum as Maria moved next to her. She noticed Siren from afar watching the Barbie blond senior as a glare formed across her eyes. The junior breathed and continued to walk ahead. Maria did not like her looking at Sarah. She belonged to her.
True, she did not really agree with Sarah's decisions to make that sophomore's life a living hell, all because that sophomore's Oneechan broke her heart upon once she graduated two years ago. Maria wondered if the young Yurenkasykuya knew of her Oneechan's past.
Galexia... having a relationship with Sarah. Would she have been so judgmental towards their kind, knowing her sister was the same? She didn't know for sure.
Maria was always in love with Sarah, and she was relieved the moment Galexia decided to break Sarah's heart when she left and decided to be engaged to her fiance, all for the family's sake. Sarah was inconsolable that day. She will never forget it. Sarah was brokenhearted by several girls that passed by here in this school. Sometimes the Barbie blond senior would acknowledge her affections, yet Maria never had the privilege to fully claim her. She thought it was odd that Galexia changed her name to Alexia, all to please her fiance's family. It must be prison living in that life. Sarah always chose the wrong people in her life. And now Sarah was dedicating herself to hate that short blonde beauty in school, causing Seiya, Haruka, Michiru, Taiki and Yaten to loathe her with a vengeance, all because of her relations to Galexia. It was a shame that she would have to suffer all of her lies. But she truly is in love with Sarah, and if that meant that the younger Yurenkasykuya would suffer, than so be it.
…
Setsuna paired the group in pairs. Today was the Vienna Waltz. Sagi was not in the mood to learn anything. She remain seated until Setsuna San called roll.
"Yurenkasykuya."
"Hai."
"Pair with Takahashi."
Sagi breathed in discomfort as Yaten whispers under her breath. "Sweet." Keeping a smile as her girlfriend and best friend Michiru paired with other girls.
"Do we have a problem, Takahashi?" Setsuna San's voice broke as she looked at the white jet haired girl, who shuddered under her look.
"Iie, Setsuna San."
"Very good. Pair with Yurenkasykuya, we will get started." She smiles as the harpist smiles and starts to play. All the girls paired up and started to waltz. Taiki kept a neutral expression as Michiru kept a smile. All the other girls seemed to be having a wonderful time.
Sagi swallowed the lump in her throat as she stalled in walking to her partner, who reluctantly but gracefully placed herself in front.
"Do you wish to fail my class, Yurenkasykuya?" Setsuna spoke as she noted in her book. Sagi shook her head. The mistress looked up and smiled. "Let's get to it."
The sophomore slowly averts her icy glare to the senior, whose steel green eyes looked at her. But despite the hatred these two had for each other, Yaten breathed and stepped into the waltz, placing her hand on her back and taking her free hand as she lead the sophomore around the room.
She was good. Sagi hated to admit it, but like her girlfriend, she was a terrific dancer. She would imagine all of them to be graceful in their skills. Months ago she overheard Siren, a junior acquaintance who was friends with Yuuki, that the five seniors who beat her up, actually excel in the arts, to the point where they may be considered professional league prodigies. She hated to dance. She hated to speak. She hated to perform in general. All she wanted to do was crawl under a rock. No matter how much she tried to go home, her parents avoided her pleas.
Why was Goddess so cruel?
Yaten remained silent as she danced. This girl had two left feet. If she was not who she was, she would try to help her practice outside of the classroom. Unfortunately they are enemies. Why the hell was Seiya cursed to be in the same room as her? She did not understand Lady San, Setsuna San, Hotaru San, or any of the mistresses as of late. They supported this girl. Sarah told them everything, from the nair bottle she tossed after Elsa lost her hair, to degrading Seiya and Haruka from Makoto and covering up for her when called them that name.
"Ouch." Yaten sneers as Sagi breathed, taking off her foot of the senior's toe.
"Gomen Nasai."
"Ladies." Setsuna's voice vibrated across the room as the harpist continued to play. The class chuckled as the odd pair reluctantly danced for the rest of the class.
…
School was grueling as the day passed by. Sagi skipped lunch once again, feeling nauseated then. One would think that the more time was spent at school, the more time comfort would come. However, the sophomore counted the moments when she would leave here, for she was stuck for two more years. Sagi grew dizzy as she felt she was going to drop to the floor. Her heart manage to pause a bit and continue to beat.
Something was definitely wrong with her. Several times she went to the school nurse's office, and no matter how much she was checked, nothing wrong was found in her.
No one believed her. One of these days, she truly believed that she might stop beating.
…
Seiya tossed the ball, making drills as multiple ones followed into the palms of her hands. Her friend Haruka was coaching a girl from across the way on how to shoot. The senior breathed in discomfort as her eyes averts to her new roommate.
Just the sight of her caused her to clench inside.
She needed not to look at her. Otherwise, she was going to kill her. Seiya focused on her classmates as the substitute came in and whistled into practice.
Shit.
The senior slammed the ball down as she looked over at the sandy blonde, who noticed that Shazuka San was absent. In frustration she looks at her best friend and rolls her eyes.
"Okay everyone. Gather around. I want to make an announcement."
"Shazuka San is going to be away for a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I plan to take over." The girls awed as Sagi breathed with concern. She noticed the seniors across from the group as their arms folded to their chest.
Are these girls every happy with anyone?
Sagi kept her thoughts to herself as she focused on the teacher, who briefly gave her a warm smile, and started talking, losing Sagi in her mind. Her heart started acting up as she shuts her eyes. It was weakening in her body. The oxygen in her lungs started to leave, feeling tight in her chest, feeling cold all over her skin.
The seniors noticed the sophomore turning pale, subtly taking each of them, without one knowing of the other, aback with concern.
"Hello."
Sagi opened her eyes as the substitute waved her hand in front of her. Her heart started up again, making the girls giggle at them, all except the two older girls.
"Welcome back. You doing okay?"
"Hai."
"Good, good. Alright everyone, as I was saying, we are just going to have fun and play dodge ball today. Let's go!" The girls cheered as they ran to the center of the courtroom.
The two older girls walked to the group, but secretly noticed the sophomore remaining behind with her hand on her chest, off in her world again.
What is up with her?
The teacher noticed her and ran back to do her pep talk.
"Hello hello. Common and let's play, it's fun."
"Sumimasen, may I be excused?"
"What's wrong, you feeling sick?"
"I feel dizzy."
"Okay, sit down then, if you'd like, just take notes, okay?"
"Arigatou Gozaimasu." She whispered.
Sagi nods as she goes to the bench alone and takes out her notebook. The teacher turns around and noticed the two seniors staring at the sophomore.
"Let's rumble!" She cheers as the seniors gawked at her behavior and rolled their eyes. The girls however happened to prep up the two by chanting to them to join their team. The two broke into smiles as they separated from each other and challenged each other in the game.
…
The spiky blonde watched her move up the stairs as she passed her by with a crazy Joker grin on her face.
"You are being stepped on, underclassman."
"Nani?"
"Fight back."
Larxeen finished as she moved down the stairs.
Odd.
Sagi breathed as she face her sleeping arrangement.
…
She stepped into her new room as the door was shut behind her. It still felt off. For some reason, homework always took her a long time to finish. She took a deep breath as she managed to take out her things. Thank Goddess that person was not in the room yet. At least for a few hours she had some privacy. Up to this day, with the exception of that Barbie blonde, she never understood why anyone for that matter would hate her so much. Nothing made sense to her in life. Not her health, not her family, not the absence of her friend, and definitely not the enemies. But no matter how much she prayed to the Goddess, nothing was being answered. It did not make sense for her to be continuously paired with those monsters, especially this one in the room. Sagi took deep breaths as her chest tightened a bit, causing her heart to slow down.
I am going to die.
The blonde beauty subconsciously broke in her mind with unwanted thoughts. She shuts her eyes as she started to feel her heart slow to almost nothing. Sagi dropped her pen as she crawled over and laid her head down. Tears actually threatened to come out of her eyes again, but no, she would not have it at all. As for parents, governess, former nanny, and even her sister have mentioned once: she never cried, nor she ever will.
It was the only thing that was keeping her together. Her heart started to pound at a normal pace again.
…
Haruka and Seiya were walking alone in the garden as they spoke about the day. Shazuka had the flu, so the substitute was taking over a bit. Seiya lingered on the garden as she thought of that person.
"Seiya Sama? Seiya Chan?"
The jet black hair beauty looked at her as the sky blue eyed sandy blonde smiled at her.
"Where'd you go off to?"
"Nani?"
"Nani?"
Haruka sticks out her tongue as Seiya smiles and nudges her.
"Tenouh San, Baka San."
"Suck it Kou San."
"You already did."
The sandy blonde blushed and shoved her. Seiya breaks into laughter as her best friend hugs her tight.
…
Sarah watched the two from a window above in the hallway as she looked at a piece of paper. Hotaru San left the housing for tonight to check on Shakuza San, so therefore there were no supervision. Also, many of the seniors were leaving for a night out at the Violet House. This is a space where they usually party on their own. Swiftly taking care of business, she get going soon to step out with Maria tonight. Tomorrow she was leaving to spend time with her family, she had to act quickly. She placed it in front of the door, crouched down and slipping it underneath. Satisfied, she got up and left.
…
Sagi looked over at the door, noticing a piece of paper slide on the ground. At first, she was not going to grab it, and for a while she did not move and focused on her homework. But after a while, the paper remained. Eventually, she walked over to the door and picked it up, reading the words with disturbance and confusion.
"It is a sin to create an abomination between these two. Alas, sin is no more, for they have part."
Sagi breathed as she opened the door. No one was there. She held the note in her hand as she looked at it. With disgust, without knowing what the message meant or why she did not care for it, she crumbled it and tossed it in the small trash bin outside the door.
The sophomore breathed, shutting the door as the senior climbed the stairs, noticing her and the door being closed. Seiya breathed as looked at the small bin having a crumbled paper. She walked over to it, noticing that the entire building was silent.
They must have gone to the Violet House.
As much as she wanted to go, she had work to do herself, and work on her songs for the Rose Recital. Without thinking, she picked up the crumbled paper, spreading it open as she read it...
...
Sagi breathed as she soothed her temples and decided to sit down and do her homework. She started writing as she started to feel darkness around her. The door opened and closed in silence, more like slammed shut, causing the sophomore to remain silent.
Sakuya left because of her. Everything was her. And that note ignited her just now.
Seiya breathed, pushing down the vile thoughts of how concerned she was for her earlier, if this person does not leave, she will definitely kill her. Causing her best friend to lose her love and leave is the biggest mistake of her life. For a while, nothing was said. However, hatred had to leave out of her life. All of her friends have suffered, and due to fear, Sakuya, her best friend, was gone. Hotaru San was gone so it was enough.
"Get out." She retorts to the sophomore, who paused at her as she looked at her.
"Sumimasen?"
"Iie. You don't need to be excused, I am not asking you. Leave right now."
The sophomore remained on her with a curious look on her face. She remembered what Larxeen said a moment before. Hotaru was gone to care for Shazuka. The senior have gone to somewhere she did not know. Even though she felt like this was the worst time to contradict the angry senior, she decided she needed to finish her homework. It needed to be done. Softly she shook head head in disbelief and went back to work.
Seiya ran to her, knocking her pen and supplies to the floor. She pulled Sagi's arm hard. Electricity ran through each of them when their skin contacted. It was the first time she was physically touched by her in a while.
Larxeen words played in her mind.
That awareness immediately disappeared as Sagi had enough abuse and yanked her arm away from her tormentor.
"Get out right now." Seiya screamed in anger and pain. Sagi glared at her in disbelief as her soft voice spoke.
"No." She said. Seiya frowned at the younger blond.
"What…?" She said, not sure if she heard right. The girl glared at her.
"I said no." She said with a stronger voice.
Seiya stared at her with those beautiful midnight sapphire dark blue hues in disbelief.
"You say no." She said.
Sagi backed up as Seiya walked to her. She trapped her against the wall, pinning both hands on either side of her head.
"Did you say no? DID YOU SAY NO TO ME?"
The taller girl breathed on the sophomore's forehead. Sagi's heart beats hard. Touching her soft skin a moment before skimmed through Seiya's veins. She ignored it with vengeance. Sagi ignored how beautiful Seiya looked, seeing her ugly character is revealed, for whatever god forsaken reason. She felt a different emotion being close to her like this. However, she pushed the vile thoughts of how her head.
"I said get out." Seiya said more firmly.
"No." Sagi said quietly.
"Get Out!"
"No!"
"GET OUT!"
"NO!"
Her scream and hatred caused her to snap.
...
SLAP!
A hard slap stung Sagi's face. Seiya glares at her as the younger gir looked at her in anger. She ignored her pain as vile anger rose in her chest, out her body, right into the older girl's face.
PUNCH!
What was the word?
Oh hai, Sucker-punched.
Seiya flinched at the pain the younger girl caused.
For the first time, Sagi hit someone in the face. She shook, and then felt good.
The senior looked at her as she rubbed her nose. Blood ran out of it. Seiya frowns in pain. The older girl looked at her in disbelief. Her strength was unreal. She never sought this sophomore to be a violent person, or strong for that matter, at all.
Where the hell did that come from?
She must have pushed her over the edge. This girl hits. This girl hits hard. Yet, this little girl punched her face, possibly breaking her nose. That angered Seiya. She was too proud of her looks. Immediately, she attacked Sagi, punching her cheek.
Sagi flinched in pain as tears threatened to run down her face. Here was a fact though, she was use to the impact by now. True, she may be strong and it did hurt like hell, but two months ago she took on five strengths upon her, so this one, compared to the five together, was absolutely... trivial. Still, what hurt the most, was the unknown hatred, for no reason, something that was not deserved. That bothered her the most as tears wells up in her eyes.
Seiya glared at her as she turned around to leave the room.
Where those tears?
Seiya briefly thought as the little girl behind her glared. She did not believe that one cried at all, considering the icy heart she has for people.
Sagi's anger and unknown hatred overtook her. Without consulting her own mind, she immediately ran to Seiya and kicked her back hard.
"AH!" Seiya screamed, turning as her midnight sapphire blue hues glazed with anger and blocked consistent upcoming attacks.
This girl is fighting me! Seiya thought in disbelief. And she was strong too!
Sagi on the other hand, had enough and snapped.
She broke her nose, hitting her cheek even though the senior attempted to block her that time, landing a punch to her gut as she took all the brutal harassment she and Yuuki have experienced, taking it out all on Seiya. Now this senior was taking a force of severe beating, filled with buried hatred and anger.
The senior was in shock and in anger. All that Sakuya, Elsa, and her friends experienced with Makoto, and those bullies when she was a freshman, and that note that was crumbled in the bin, boiled through her veins as Seiya punched back.
Everything became a blur.
Sagi punched. She punched, she punched and she punched. Seiya lost it as she fought her. One was pushed against the dresser, knocking it down. The other kicked the other one's foreleg. Then another kick was brought to the same spot. This caused to crouch and slam a head against the floor. A hand squeezed a spot on the vein of another wrist. Sitting on top of the other, screams were heard as hairs were pulled.
One was willing to kill. One was willing to die fighting. It was a sickening passionate fight.
"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I WISH YOU WERE DEAD! I HATE YOU!" Seiya screamed as the sophomore viciously fought her.
"GET OFF ME! GET OFF ME WHY DO YOU KEEP TORTURING ME! YOU ALWAYS TORTURE ME! ALL OF YOU TORTURE ME! I NEVER DID ANYTHING TO YOU! GET OFF ME! LEAVE ME BE! JUST LEAVE ME BE!" Sagi screamed, her face turned red as the senior fought her. The black haired beauty retorts.
"DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU DAMN YOU DAMN YOU! YOU NEVER COULD STAND US! DO WE DISGUST YOU THAT MUCH! DO WE DISGUST YOU THAT MUCH YOU BITCH?!" A fist scraped her skin as the blond viciously attacked and retaliated in anger.
"GET OFF OF ME BITCH! YOU ARE THE ONE BRINGING MISERY TO ME! ALL OF YOU ARE SO CRUEL! YOU WERE ALWAYS CRUEL TO ME! TO YUUKI! TO ALL OF US! WE DID NOTHING TO YOU! I DID NOTHING TO YOU-"
"SARAH TOLD US YOU TALK AND DID VILE THINGS TO US! YOU MADE ELSA LOSE HER HAIR! YOU TOLD SAKUYA'S PARENTS ABOUT ANU SAMA! YOU CAN NEVER LET ANYONE BE HAPPY! YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE US IN PEACE! I WISH YOU WERE DEAD!"
"SARAH'S A LIAR! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE IMPLYING KOU SAN! I DON'T KNOW WHAT ANYONE DOES NOR DO I CARE WHAT PEOPLE DO! YOUR LYING PIECE OF SHIT YOU CALL FRIEND ALWAYS TORTURED PEOPLE! SHE CAUSED YUUKI PAIN AND DUE TO HER PAIN WAS REMOVED FROM THE SCHOOL AND BECAUSE OF HER SHE LEFT! I WISH SHE WAS DEAD! I WISH YOU WERE ALL DEAD FOR ALL THE CRUEL PAIN YOU BROUGHT UPON US! I WISH YOU WERE DEAD AND OUT OF MY LIFE YOU BRING NOTHING BUT MISERY TO ME! GET OFF OF ME! GET OFF OF ME!"
With a force she punched her face. She used all of her might. The sophomore shoved the senior hard off of her, knocking her away.
Her energy was zapped afterward, but she immediately moved away. It was too much.
At least her heart was beating strong. And the first time, tears burst out of her eyes.
Seiya was stunned as she looked at the person across from her.
She was crying.
Her heart stopped as she saw her crying. The younger girl's sobs were real, and heartbreaking. Seiya paused in her anger.
She was really crying.
Her cries sliced Seiya's heart. This was the first time she has seen the girl cry.
Seeing her cry reminded her of herself when she cried as an underclassmen. She remembered being tortured by other seniors, the scary thing though, now she was the tormentor, not the victim. This brought a scary vision as she saw Sagi sob hard.
Was she telling the truth?
But Sarah has been her friend for a long time. She would not lie. She has known Sarah all through her school years. Yet, Sagi's words spoke an unknown solid truth as her eyes never flinched when she spoke. Those eyes showed strength, and with possible reason, hatred. Seiya remained looking at her as she got up.
Sagi crawled back, hatred pooling towards the older girl as she sat against Seiya's best friend's bed. Sagi never felt hatred as she did right now. Her nose bled and her eyes bruised.
If her goal was to spark hatred, Seiya succeeded, and Sagi hated her immensely for that. Seiya stared at her as she spoke.
"But you are friends with Kino. You sided with her against us many times." She whispered as Sagi frowns.
"Sided how?! You guys picked on us all the time and make it sound like you are the victims when in fact we were!" She snapped in angry sobs.
"She called us dykes and you supported her!" The senior shouts in anger, though she did not like seeing her cry.
"What's DYKES?!" Sagi viciously screamed in her tears as she trembled.
Seiya paused in confusion as the sophomore remained angry, tears falling like waterfalls. "What the hell's Dykes!? I don't even know that word!" She cries in anger. Seiya looked at her in disbelief.
"Are you serious?" She whispered.
"What is that word? What is that word? And why are you accusing me of saying that word? I don't even know what it means!" She lost her breath. Seiya bit her lips, she started to not feel right about her assumptions on this girl.
"So you are telling me that you did not make fun of Sakuya's girlfriend, and cause her and Sakuya to separate, nor made Elsa Gray lose her hair…" She said as Sagi explodes at her in anger and disbelief.
"Why the Hell would I make fun of someone I don't even know?! Or do anything?! That is something I would picture all of YOU doing. I thought your friend shaved her hair, I don't even know what you mean by her losing her hair! As for your friend who left the school, I don't even know her or her parents! I don't know you! ANY OF YOU! Except that you are demonic beings for bringing pain to others who are not up in your stature or in approval with your peers! You make me sick! You may rule the school, and may get away with doing malicious things to me and to others who are suffering for it, but you will not survive in this world. I guarantee it. One of these days all of you will be discovered with what you did to all of us! For all the malicious things you have done!"
Sagi sobbed as she trembled. Seiya's heart broke at the eerie sight. She looked exactly like she did herself when she was a freshman.
In her heart, hearing the reasons why the sophomore believed she was tortured made her sick. She never saw herself as someone who tortured other people just for pleasure, she only did it for justice.
Still, it crushed her; realizing her error, and she knew now, Sagi was telling the truth. There was no how or why, she just knew now, deep in her gut, this girl is telling the truth. For the first time, she listened to her intuition. There was no doubt. It sent relief because this girl is not like Kino.
Now, because of all the things she caused upon her, it made her sick, and feels guilt. She got up and started to walk to Sagi, who was bruised on her face and arms. Her nose bled.
Sagi is delicate, but her eyes remained cold.
The younger girl saw tenderness in the older girl's eyes. She might have imagined it, odd, but she did not care at this point. She was too angry at her, and hatred ate her heart for the senior. Seiya spoke as Sagi backed away from her.
"There might have been a misunderstanding-"
She was cut off as Sagi got up with her fists curled into her hands, making Seiya pause from going near her. Her looks sliced the older girl's heart.
"Stay away from me. I don't care. Stay away from me." Sagi vehemently whispered.
Pain overtook her soul as she started to cry. "Just stay away from me." She sneered in her soft voice and moved to Sakuya's bed. She goes against the wall, leaning on it as she cries hard.
The senior felt pain, feeling sick for making a grave mistake towards the individual. She would immediately have to clear it up with all of her friends, and exactly find out what happened, and finding out what caused Sarah to say those things. Who was telling the truth?
"Gomen Nasai." She whispered to the younger girl.
Seiya did not feel welcomed, tears built in her eyes, feeling wounded at the girl's words just now. She turned and decided to give her space for now.
The black haired girl left the room and shut the door. She did not return for a long time. Sagi cried as she heard Seiya's words.
Why did she have to be so nice now all of a sudden?
It made everything worse when she apologized. And it was sincere too, that is what made it worse. Sagi cried herself to sleep. Her heart beats softly.
She wished her dead.
...
The night seemed long, but eventually morning came.
The senior moved around the room in a frantic state as the sophomore opened her eyes. She closed her eyes, cursing softly inside at the fact that she had to wake up to this monster. She forced herself to get up and placed her slippers on her feet.
"Listen, gomen nasai for last night. Don't really know what's going on, but I will find out eventually. I have makeup here for your face, if you'd like to use some."
Sagi glared at her in disbelief. First she punched the crap out of her yesterday, not to mention the horrible beatings this one and her peers manage the number they've done on her, spit on her, was vile to her, and today she was making small talk about using makeup?
Who the hell does she think she is? Larxeen lurking into her business gave her the upper hand. She was not about to go down without a fight, not anymore.
"Go fuck yourself."
The senior glared at her response as the sophomore returned it with flair. She never heard her use that word before. The blonde girl got up and went to the bathroom to get ready.
That little...
Her anger started to come back for her, but considering the ugly fight they had, and her possibly getting into shit with Lady San, the sophomore had the upper hand at the point. She had to cool off.
Not to mention, she remembered the tears in the blond's eyes last night. She has never seen that one cry so hard before in the time she was acquainted of her. Nor does she want to see it again. It reminded her of herself as a freshman. How did this dark behavior come about between them?
Oh yeah, Sakuya, Elsa, and the discrimination Sarah had accused the younger girl of. Some things did not add up, now that she had her anger was set aside and clarity entered her mind. Seiya looked at herself in the mirror and paused.
Shit.
She was in deep trouble, seeing the dark bruises that swirled on her eyes. This soon to be graduate had a lot to lose if she were to be expelled. Not to mention, her parents would shun her, take all of her funds away, and make her do chores and attend a public school and make her do community service hours around the town without a shot at the arts. Forget the Arts. Her academia was in excellence. Not to mention Julliard, Carnegie, and all the other art schools had high hopes for her endeavors. She started to panic and paused at her reflection. In prayer to the Goddess, she turned around with the foundation in hand, sat down, and waited for the girl to come out.
Sagi stared at her face in the bathroom mirror, seeing the black shadow around the edge of her eyes darkened into a purple hue. Damn that... she grew to angry to think of a proper word to describe her archenemy. Her dark circles under her eyes, due to her health condition of Goddess knows what, were already shadowed on her skin. Still, if everyone saw it, that senior would go disappear.
Sagi, with determination, steps out of the room, only to be blocked. Not again. She is not taking it anymore.
"It would be wise of you to back off right now."
"You need to put some make up on your face."
"Iie, I don't feel like it."
"Hai, Yurenkasykuya, you need to consider it."
"Do not get familiar with me."
"Goddess, fine, Yurenkasykuya San."
"Sayounara."
The sophomore gears around her to the door, letting out a gasp as the senior ran in front of her, locked it, and turned around to face her. Sagi dropped her books and attempts to lift her fists. However, she was sucker punched as the black haired girl moved in front of her, swiftly shoved her hard and far, causing her to fall on her bed and immediately moved on top of her. Sagi shudders in fear and disbelief, seeing the intimate position they were in. Disregarding her blush, she attempts to leave as the girl grasp and pins her wrists into one hand above her head.
"Get off me!" She yelps as her mouth was immediately covered by her palm. She struggled to move and speak, however, the senior's hand was strong and muffled her sounds. The sophomore glared icily into her eyes as the dark midnight sapphire hues sparkled with anger into hers.
"You hit me too, I was bruised by you as well, so do not think I will be the only one getting into trouble. Listen, I've used this makeup before. It will cover the dark bruises you have on your eyes. You may leave if you want to, but it won't help you either. We will both get expelled if we are seen like this. I've already apologized." The sophomore struggled as the senior remained straddled on her, causing her to blush ferociously in anger. Sagi attempted to open her mouth and bite her skin, but the girl pressed firmer into her hand, making it difficult for the blonde to do so. If this girl ruined her life, she would never forgive her. Still, last night was odd, seeing her cry.
"Please, I beg of you." Seiya whispered tenderly as Sagi kept her glare on her in silence as she squirmed.
What was that voice and look she has right now?
She struggled for a while, eventually gave up and waited for a long while. The senior cautiously moved her hand away as the sophomore pursed her lips. The blonde breathed in anger as the black haired slowly got off her, making her blush some more. Those crystal hues steeling in anger as she vehemently spoke to her.
"Fine. But once we do, you will stay away from me, permanently, understood?"
"I am sorry, Yurenkasykuya San."
"Am I understood Kou San?"
"Yes."
"Do it quickly."
What's that commanding voice she used on her just now? The senior smirked inside.
Seiya breathed as she gathered her makeup foundation and sat on Sagi's bed. She took the sponge cautiously and placed it on her skin, covering any bruise that might have shown on her soft porcelain like surface. Yurenkasykuya did not look bad, at all in fact... She looks good. Despite the dark circles under her eyes, that tend to make anyone who had them look like a raccoon, this sophomore had a subtle beauty to her.
"You are a little lighter than me."
"Excuse me if I don't fit your profile of approval."
"I did not say anything bad. Promise. I just need to lighten the color of the makeup a bit for your skin. You have good skin. Promise." She whispered and dabbed her sponge on the sophomore, who looked like she was going to be sick. Seiya breathed as her skin throbbed from yesterday, whispering to her in disbelief.
"Threw on heck of a punch, I might add."
A soft blush appeared on the sophomore's cheeks, causing a warmth inside of her heart. However, her mind reminded her who was saying those words to her, along harassing her, and eyes brought ice to her demeanor. Sagi ignored the strong beating of her heart.
What a biological thing it was to be acting so carelessly.
She has beautiful skin.
The senior admitted, her heart was pounding as she applied to her skin. It could have been the thought of her straddling her a moment before. It could also have been the nerves of hatred emulating out of this sophomore. As for those ugly rumors of her, she was done.
She did not know what to believe anymore. All she knew was that she was not a liar.
Seiya could tell by looking in someone's eyes if they were truthful or not, and Sagi never flinched the night they had that terrible fight. Even when she was beaten by them almost two months ago, she never gave off any horrible indications of rumors that circulated about her that she enjoyed any of the horrible things she was accused of. Something was off, that was for sure. Seiya realized that now as she looked at her face.
Goddess, those eyes were to die for. And those petal looking lips were dying to be...
"Are you done?"
She was splashed with cold water as her voice broke her thoughts. The black haired beauty looked at her eyes and moved her hand away.
"Yes."
"Fine."
"It looks good."
Her silent response made the senior uncomfortable as she got up off the bed.
The sophomore immediately went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. With approval of her appearance, hating to admit that roommate did a decent job, she moved out of the room and picked up her book bag.
"Do you approve?"
Her voice caused her to shudder as Sagi pursed her lips, avoiding her to even look at her.
"It's fine." Another cold water splashed into her face.
With that, she left the room for school as Seiya frowns.
You could have been more generously grateful.
Still, their disposition with each other was currently in an ugly state. What did she expect? A smile and a thank you? A hug and a k...
Seiya shook her head as she smirked at herself. She should not expect more than silence between each other. For some reason she no longer had hatred for her, considering her reaction last night, but they were definitely not friends. It is something that she will have to live with for now. The senior applied the foundation on her face, never really using the product unless it was necessary with the love bites she use to have from her past flings. Still, applying the product to her bruised eye was something of another world. It's been a while since she was harassed physically.
She remembered that time she and Haruka were freshmen, when those former seniors found out about the two of them. Being in the girls' locker room, way before the both of them became popular, were beaten as well as Goddess knows other horrific things they were forced to do, all because they were who they were. She and her comrade made them pay for it years later when they grew taller and older. Their group found those bullies somehow during school breaks, alone, one by one, and slaughtered them to the ground. No one every knew about the beatings. Each former alumni bully regretfully took a beating. Never again were they pursued by those beings, and by the time they were seniors, they were well respected in the entire school. True, some bad apples like Makoto's kind would sprout about, but like weeds, they were immediately pulled out. There were those types of bad apples. Now there was...
Honestly, she did not know what category that sophomore fell in anymore.
Did she really hate their kind? Or was that also another misunderstanding?
It was odd how she chose to speak out against her and Haruka when they had they rumble with Makoto at the gym back when. Still, now that she is thinking about it, it made sense why she never told that substitute what horrible offensive name Makoto called them. That girl probably did not remember what was said. She did not even know what the word meant when she was confronted about it last night. Seiya paused as she replayed the memory of her facial expressions. Come to think of it, looking back, she remembers that sophomore's reaction, how she first was when she came into the school. She looked terrified, uncomfortable, and sick. At first she believed that those reactions were derogatory towards their group, but now she realized that girl reacts the same way with everyone in the school. The more she pondered on this, the more she felt disgusted with herself. Nothing was making sense anymore.
Now it was a matter of talking directly to Sarah.
Seiya breathed as she finished her mascara and eye shadow. She started applying lip gloss to her lips, unconsciously wondering what it is like applying it to... The black haired senior smirked and shook her head.
Going psycho.
...
Of course, she got to to talk to her best friends later on in the day, and the more detailed she described the odd situation to them, the more it made sense in their minds. Like Seiya, the others started to feel off about their actions towards the sophomore. If it was true, if it turned out that it was all a misunderstanding based on rumors that were untrue, despite Sarah's friendship, it would be unforgivable.
...
CAUGHT
Maria was bruised. Her body ached, but she refused to go to the hospital. Apparently, Sarah betrayed her last night, leaving her alone like a coward as she left her with the group who jumped them at the park. The senior went off to her family this morning.
Something drastic happened last night, that is for sure.
She did not even say a word to her. For that, Maria hates her, and lost her love for her.
Feeling off about her appearance, the five walked to her in the hallway. Maria looked at them as they went up to her, wondering why they had disturbing looks in their eyes as they approached her.
"May we talk to you Maria Chan?" Michiru whispered as she responds quietly about her status.
"You know, Kino and her older sisters and their friends from college were at the plaza last night. They followed me and Sarah to the park. I should have stayed on school grounds and gone to the Violet House instead." She whispered.
Haruka frowned as Taiki spoke. "Kino Makoto? Are you talking about that junior that was expelled?" She asked as Seiya felt sick. Yaten looked in disbelief as Maria smirks and wipes her tears.
"You know what Sarah did? She ran off, like the coward she is, only time she lifts a fist is to bully that Cross girl when she was here." She whispered as tears bursts into her eyes.
"What do you mean by that?" Seiya asked. The girls did not like the look in the junior's eyes. She looked at her friends and smirked in anger.
"Sarah, Sarah is not who you think she is. You guys beat people up for justice, she does it for pleasure, especially if things don't go her way." She whispered in confession.
"What does that remark mean?" Haruka whispered, not liking where this was going, or why Maria said they beat people up. Maria looked at them and smiled.
"Yurenkasykuya… I could see the way she looks at you in anger, all of you. It was you who took care of her in the garden because of Elsa, right? And I am sure also because you believe she separated Sakuya and Anu from each other?" She asked as the five grew silent, feeling sick in their stomach. Maria continued.
"I don't know about the Nair thing, I know it was done on purpose by someone, which that someone meant to hurt Sarah. Elsa just happened to burrow her shampoo, maybe Sarah did something to someone, but I don't believe in my heart that Yurenkasykuya did it. I know because Sarah does not believe that she was the one who did it either when she vented in our room. Still, Sarah wanted her to suffer, and make her pay for what Galexia did to her, which is why she did not stop you guys when you guys went after her, thinking that it was her that inputted the Nair for Elsa." The seniors frowned at the Barbie haired junior girl.
"Galexia…? What does she have to do with anything?" Yaten asked as Maria pursed her lips. "And what do you mean by what you said about Yurenkasykuya San?" Seiya asked in anger. Maria shivered at her threatening whisper. She did not like the look in the senior's eyes, but she had no way out this time. Her tongue was caught by a cat.
This time, she had to tell the truth now.
"Galexia was Sarah's girlfriend, before she got dumped for the guy she is betrothed to." She said as Seiya felt tight in her chest.
"Hai, but why would she stay quiet about the Nair with Elsa? And Galexia, what does she have to do with Yurenkasykuya? And why would you say she wanted Yurenkasykuya to suffer?" She asked as Maria pursed her lips.
"You don't see the similarities in the last name?" She asked as the seniors frowned and paused.
Galexia. Her last name was Yurenkasykuya as well, but it never occurred to them before until now because they always called her by her first name along Sama since she was a senior when they were freshmen, not to mention their appearances were different. She and Sarah had a relationship that year.
"Galexia San is Sagi San's Oneesan…" Maria concluded in disbelief as she replayed the memories in her mind.
The seniors swallowed hard. Now everything made perfect sense.
"Galexia broke Sarah's heart... " Michiru whispered in realization as they felt sick.
"Maria Chan, Sarah lied…?" Yaten whispered as Maria spoke.
"Galexia broke Sarah's heart, and I know she is still angry about it, because she keeps holding onto her, even the past two years after she graduated. Galexia moved on with her life, changing her name to Alexia for her fiancé. Sarah made Yuuki her lover by force due to being lonely, since Sagi came to this school, and Sarah found out that she is her sister, she swore to make her time here a living hell." She said as the seniors moved up to her. Seiya took her by her collar as Maria trembled.
"You kept quiet about this, knowing that we made someone suffer, for no reason, all because Sarah cannot let go of the past, is that what you are telling me?" Seiya sneered as Maria looked at her as tears formed in her eyes. "Hai, and sad to say, suffered everything, and most likely I am sure she suffered all of it, without having a clue as to why this was happening to her." Maria whispered. Seiya breathed as she grew tight in her chest.
Of course, Galexia would have never told Sagi about her secret love life here at the school. Her parents would never approve.
It all made sense, Galexia, the day of graduation, told Sarah she did not want to see her anymore, and that she was getting married. Her fiancé was there, and Galexia, who goes by Alexia now, kissed him in front of Sarah. They never forgot that day, holding Sarah as she begged her not to leave. Galexia, she remembered, looked at her with no emotion, and walked off without a glance back. Still, the fact that Sarah made Sagi suffer knowingly for what her sister has done, made her sick inside. Maria knew about the whole thing and kept quiet. Seiya grew angry as she whispered.
"Doishte… doishte?" She whispered as Maria trembled in her lips. The four behind her looked at her in disbelief and in anger.
"DOISHTE?!" Seiya asked in anger as Maria swallowed.
"Because I am in love with Sarah, at least I was, until she left me alone last night." She whispered as Seiya released her in disbelief. Maria cried as she spoke. "I would have done, before Sarah left me when Kino and her sisters got to me, I would have done anything for Sarah, and if that meant, that the younger Yurenkasykuya was to suffer for what Galexia has done to her, then so be it." She broke down and sobbed hard.
The seniors looked at her in disgust. Sarah was on a trip with her father and uncle. She would return in two weeks. Seiya tightened her fists as she glared at the junior. She wanted to pound her, but decided it was best for karma to take care of her.
"You will no longer go near or even look at Yurenkasykuya, understood?" Seiya whispered with authority as Maria pursed her lips. Softly, she nods as Seiya glared at her and left with the other four.
Maria lost five friends, along with Sarah, though she no longer loved her. She would not want any part of anything anymore, subconsciously in her sadness and loneliness, she failed to tell the five that Kino warned her after she was beaten, telling her to tell them that she would come after them next…
...
They walked down the stairs and paused in the middle of it.
"Shit, oh shit, what have we done?" Yaten whispered as she trembled and puts her hands to her face. Taiki tensed her jaw and closed her eyes. Haruka breathed as Michiru remained silent, but trembled. They all felt like shit. That poor girl, that poor, innocent girl. Of course she had no clue, and to think that Sarah made her suffer for what Galexia did. They could bet their whole lives that Sagi had no clue. Of course, she would not know that her sister was a lover of another girl. How would she feel about that? Galexia was private.
Sarah, how could she do that to her? And to think that Yuuki suffered for her pleasure, that made them all sick. Maria is Sarah's best friend, apparently in love with her, she would not turn in her friend for no apparent reason. The girls looked at their friend walking ahead of them.
"Seiya Chan…?"
Haruka asked as Seiya paused and turned to look at her friends. "Where are you going?" Taiki whispered as Seiya breathed and looked at her hands. Tears built in her eyes as the girls walked to her. "I need to, I need to be alone now." She smirked and walked off. "Seiya Chan…?!" Yaten whispered as their black haired senior friend ran off. Yaten was going to take after her, but Michiru held her and shook her head. "Give her time." She whispered as Yaten looks at her and nods.
...
In their room, Seiya cried in her pillow for a long time. She skipped her activities after school without a word to anyone. "Gomen Nasai. Gomen Nasai. Gomen Nasai…" She whispered by herself as she thought of the sophomore, holding her in her mind. Seiya trembled and cried as she remembered the pain of being beaten as a freshman, by those vial seniors of the past, for no reason. Damn Sarah, yes she was her friend, but her wrongs had to be dealt with, for making them cause pain on that girl.
Seiya calmed down as she breathed in and prayed to the Goddess. As of late she has been praying a lot. She cooled off. A nice bubble bath would be nice. Lighting candles, Seiya heats up the water. She walks into the room, noticing that her roommate has yet to come back. Maybe she was avoiding her. Ignoring the pang in her heart, the black haired beauty took of her band off her hair. She stripped her clothes as it drifted off her skin. Softly, she trails to the restroom and shuts the door halfway.
...
Time passed as the sophomore went inside the room. She saw there was no one around. With relief, she placed her book bag on the floor and decided to take a bath. She stripped down from her uniform, feeling sick in her stomach as her heart started to pound. After being bare, she softly moved to the restroom and opened the door.
The sophomore freezes up in disbelief, a blood red blush encompassing all over her pale body as her eyes trailed on the steel, tan, smooth lean body in the tub.
"Goddess!" The black haired beauty shouts as a blood red blush moved through the course of her skin as her eyes trailed on the porcelain small soft looking round skin at the threshold.
The blond haired beauty backs off and trips on the floor.
"Sagi San... dajaibou?!" Seiya speaks as she got out of the tub to rush to her aid. Sagi shudders in disbelief, gets up in time to move away, rubbing her knee swiftly as she grabbed her clothes, trembling at her physique.
"Gomen Nasai Kou San!" She shouts in disbelief at her roommate.
"Daijabou." Seiya whispers as she goes to her, shuddering at her physique. Sagi turned to see her, blushed harder and covers her eyes. She immediately turns and puts on her clothes.
"I am done." The senior speaks as the sophomore shook her head.
"Iie, I am fine!" She shouts as she finished up and grabs her book bag.
"Daijabou, go ahead." She pleads.
"IIE I AM FINE!" She shouts in anger and leaves. The door slams as Seiya breathed, still blushing hard at their predicament. Oh Goddess, she was in trouble.
…
Sagi pushed her thoughts out of her mind. She did not want to think anything right now about anything, whatever it was. She couldn't, considering who that person is.
She shouldn't.
…
Sagi ignored Seiya the rest of the week. She was no longer tortured, and they actually were polite to her. She wanted nothing to do with them.
Seiya saw her drop her pen in the hallway. She walked to and bent down to where Sagi was, who immediately grabbed the pen as her roommate's hand grazed her, trying to get the pen for her. The sophomore shivered as she snatched her hand away from her.
"Gomen Nasai, I was just trying to get it for you." The black haired beauty whispered as the blond girl glared at her with a cold demeanor. Seiya shivered inside as Sagi got up and left. She pursed her lips as her friends behind her stared at the sophomore.
Sagi wounded her, with good reason, but she wounded her.
"She really hates us." Yaten whispered as Seiya frowns. "Can you blame her?" She whispered as tears built in her eyes. Haruka tied her sandy blonde hair back in silence. Michiru and Taiki held their books as they breathed in discomfort. "Common, let's eat somewhere." Taiki whispered as Yaten stared off at the sophomore, who disappeared around the corner. "Hai…" She spoke and walked off. Seiya breathes and is nudged by Haruka, who smiles at her. "Common." The seniors walked out of the school. Seiya does not blame Sagi for being angry at her.
If only she knew the truth from the start, they would have been great friends.
That Girl... Why her friendship meant so much to her, she did not know. She desired with her whole heart that Sagi will forgive her one day, and accept her friendship. That girl meant something to her. That she knew.
What Seiya did not know, was how much that girl mean to her…
...
Sagi timed herself to the room, counting the time she was able to be alone. Since she saw the senior earlier this week in the bathroom, she did not want a repeated mistake. She spent her time alone in peace. Her homework was done. It was a weekend, and Sagi remained in the room for a long time. She thought of Seiya, and felt guilty for brushing her kindness off. She is still angry at her for how she was treated before their fight. Sagi shuts her eyes, ignoring the wound that crossed her roommate's eyes. She wished she did not care about what Seiya thought. She wished she did not care about her feelings, at all.
Seeing her body earlier this week was... Foreign nerves that did not exist before in her body rushed in.
She shook her head viciously and pushed the nerves out, focusing on her unusual beating heart. She will do whatever she can to keep her out of her life. For that, Sagi swore to herself. Anger and hatred for her kept her alive. It will not crumble. Forgiveness is absent in her heart. Sagi pursed her lips as she pictured Seiya trying to embrace her in her mind. That image made her angry. She wanted her to hurt. She desired with her whole heart that they would all feel her wound, especially her. Sagi glared at the floor as her heart slowed down. Sagi shuts her eyes and cries. She touched her chest, and prayed to keep on living. At least Hotaru San was back.
...
The five left the school for a while and walked in the park as they noticed Makoto. They also saw an older group of taller women, whom they assume were her sisters. The glares in their eyes sent shivers down their spine.
"Kino San…?" Michiru said as Makoto smirked. The seniors paused as they saw rocks and sticks in the girls' hands, even the junior they know. The girls that Makoto was with were older and taller.
They remembered Maria's predicament earlier in the week.
"The one and only." She said as Haruka put Michiru behind her. Taiki pursed her lips as Yaten held her. "I am assuming Maria passed on the message to you?" Seiya remained in the front.
Seiya felt sick in her stomach. Makoto walked to them as she had an evil glint in her eyes. "We need to talk about this." She said as Makoto shook her head.
"We already did." She said. Seiya frowned as Makoto's sisters smirked. The red brown haired girl pursed her lips.
"Why?" The senior spoke as she dropped her book. The junior looked at them with hatred as her older sisters smirked. The best friends remained still.
"What goes around comes around, you messed with our sister, and we will now mess with you." The red haired pig tailed girl replied as they prepared their sticks and surrounded them.
"Please…" Taiki whispered as Makoto shook her head. "Payback." She replied. Seiya frowned along with the others.
The last time they were in this situation was freshman year. They could not believe that it would happen again when they became seniors. The bullies glared at them as they angrily prepped their weapons. Darkness surrounded the area as the seniors pursed their lips and slowly inhaled. This was freshman year again, but unlike last time... darkness entered their eyes.
They would not go down without a fight.
...
Sagi remained in her room as she felt a tightness envelope in her chest. She looked at Seiya's empty bed for a bit. Suddenly, she felt a jolt and looked out the window. Her heart pounds hard, warning her to move as she moves off the bed in fear as she ran out of the room, without knowing why. She followed her gut as she ran without knowing why. Larxeen watched her in stillness and in silence as she saw the sophomore leave the building.
...
A while has passed as the beatings continued.
Makoto and her four sisters held sticks, bruised and bleeding as they stared at the seniors bleeding on the floor. Those five put up a good fight, but it was not enough, the junior smirks as the seniors glare at them.
Seiya was bleeding on her nose and lips, worst than when she and Sagi fought earlier in the week. Her best friend Haruka was next to her, bleeding as well. They looked at the girls with no fear, even though they were severely beaten. Several other young women held Michiru, Yaten, and Taiki. They held themselves from crying.
An Angel walks through their blurry tears. The two on the floor looked over, stunned at the newcomer. Makoto looks over at her with a smile.
Sagi halted.
What she was witnessing caused paralysis of fear inside her soul. She saw every girl, harassing or battered, looking at her.
An eerie sight.
The girls were all shocked to see the sophomore. They saw Makoto with relief in her eyes as she went to her. Sagi felt paralyzed as Makoto looks at her. She stared at the seniors, mostly at Seiya.
The seniors looked back at her. They expected her to have satisfaction on her face.
Instead, her eyes showed grief, sorrow, fear and something else.
The four sisters smiled as Makoto looks at Sagi and goes to her, lifting the stick towards her. The two on the floor looked at sophomore with a calm expression. Makoto offered the stick to Sagi, but she looked back at the stick and up at her friend. Her face scrunched in disbelief at her taller friend.
"What are you doing?" She asked in disgust as she breathed hard.
Makoto breathed in anger as she spoke. "We heard from others that you took their shit. Here, have them rectify for what they did to you as well. Go on." She said with a sick grin as the seniors remained silent, waiting for being beaten by the girls. Sagi looked at Makoto for a long time. She looked at the seniors, who looked back at her.
They held anger only for the bullies, but not for her. For her, they held compassion.
Sagi stared at Seiya as she looked back at her with tenderness.
Makoto waited as Sagi looked at her and the stick in her friend's hand. She breathed and shook her head. Makoto frowns as her young friend speaks.
"Don't do this." She said as Makoto breathes in discomfort.
The seniors battered on the floor were stunned in silence. Makoto looked at her. Her older sister, who has red tails in her hair, walks to her in anger. "Are you siding with the dykes?" She sneered as the other spoke. Sagi frowns at the sisters. That word.
Dyke.
What the hell was that word?
The junior went to her friend and talked softly as the wounded looked at the young girl, shivering at her friend. Makoto hushed her sister as she spoke firmly to Sagi.
"They pretty much try to destroy you back at the garden that night, have you forgotten that? Maria informed me of it when we were finished with her. Do yourself a favor, do not question anymore, and punish them for what they did to us; for what they did to you." Makoto sneered with pride. She offered Sagi the long stick. Her young friend stared at her. Her older friend frowns as Seiya stares at her in silence. Sagi stares at Makoto as her heart pounds in silence.
"Will it make it better, Makoto San?" She quietly said as Makoto paused in confusion.
"What the hell are you saying?" Makoto's other sister spoke in anger to Sagi. "Beat the shit out of them Baka." Her other sister with the green hair sneered.
The seniors, bruised and bleeding, felt an unusual feeling for the sophomore. They were stunned at Makoto's eyes when she looked at Sagi. It showed protection as well as anger at her reaction.
They were more stunned at Sagi, for refusing to do what they would have done, if they were in her shoes again, which they were, in a way, except, at least the way they saw it, this was their karma due to their error on that sophomore. Makoto puts up her hand to her sisters. "She is my friend." Makoto sneered viciously as she looks back at the sophomore.
"Sagi, Sagi Chan." She said in a softer voice with honorifics as her young friend frowns and steps back. Haruka, Michiru, Taiki, and Yaten along with the sisters looked at the two. They saw the junior offended at her action as she pushed the stick to Sagi's stomach. Seiya looked at Sagi's eyes the whole time. She could not believe her reactions. This young girl was so mysterious. She intrigued her more and more each day. She looked at Makoto, who walked in her friend's face.
"Make them pay for what they did to you." She said defiantly. Her young friend felt her older friend digging into her soul, her wounded soul. As much as her friend made sense, it was not in her fate.
"No." She spoke in a strong voice as the five being tortured were silenced.
The bullies frown as Makoto breathes with no expression on her face.
"You will allow them to spit on you then, that's it, isn't it?" She concludes with a glare in her eyes. The sophomore felt sick as Makoto got in her face. Her words were ugly, beyond cruel. The seniors were stunned as the sisters laughed viciously. Makoto continued to speak, or scream for that matter.
"They almost killed you. You are okay with that? You are more pathetic than meets the eye." She sneered. Sagi looked at her friend with anger and sadness. Makoto glares at her as she was about to walk away. Her younger friend spoke as her friend paused.
"It won't make you any better. You will be just like them. Don't lower yourself to their level." She said as the junior's sisters laughed hard and sneered behind Makoto as they cursed at Sagi and told Makoto to ignore her.
The tortured seniors looked at her, amazed at her silent, hardly visible wisdom. They took notice though, and will never forget it, no matter what happens to them now.
Sagi looked at Michiru, whose hair was being pulled. She saw Taiki and Yaten beaten with fierceness. Seiya and Haruka were pinned on the ground with girls lying on top of them. The sandy blond saw Michiru with pain in her eyes.
Seiya looked at Sagi in silence along the would not blame her at all if she partook in the fight. Sagi stared at the two on the floor with an unreadable expression in her eyes. They were not sure if she was sad for them or sad in general, but this reaction threw them off course with her reaction.
Her friend frowned in anger as she walked to her. Makoto breathed and went up to her face. Sagi stared at the seniors before she looked at her friend, who is starting not to show a friendly persona to her. She felt saddened, her friend lost her mind.
"Fine… since you are a coward, I will beat them for you." She sneered and poked Sagi in the stomach, which flinched at the sudden jab. Makoto moved to the two on the floor, who looked at Sagi with… Respect?
Sagi pursed her lips as the others laughed and were ready to attack them. She looked at her former tormentors being under their bullies as they looked at her. She felt they held no ill contempt for her. She could have sworn she saw soft smiles on their lips at her and tenderness in their eyes. That scared her in her soul. Their bruises and blood made her shudder.
Seiya's look in her eyes crushed her, due to tenderness emulating out of those sapphire midnight blue hues when she looked at the young girl. She swallowed a lump in her throat as she looked at the evilness in her former friend's eyes, as well as her sisters and their friends. Sagi moved back further away.
"I'm leaving." She said as the sisters laughed. "Run then; run away as you always do." Makoto sneered as she looked at her former young friend, who had tears in her eyes. "I will." The younger girl said. Her former tormentors breathed as they prepped for the beating of the women.
"I will, and I'll get Lady San and all of her guards to come and stop all of you." Sagi firmly spoke as everyone looked at the sophomore in disbelief.
"What did you say?" The sisters said as her friend called to her. The junior was not happy.
The tormented seniors went wide eyed. They could not believe what they heard, or were about to see.
"Sagi…" Makoto said in anger and disbelief as the sophomore turned away in pain, anger, and hate.
She ran, and she ran far and fast! The seniors were stunned
"Sagi! SAGI!" The junior screamed viciously as Sagi ran off. "Shit." The sisters sneered in anger, willing to beat her up as well.
The seniors on the floor, victims to the beatings, looked at them and then at the junior. They saw Makoto looked at her friend run off. They hoped they would not come after Sagi and they would surely kill her if they went after her. They were tough beings, and they struggled with the strength of the sisters. Makoto managed to beat them because of her sisters. They would kill Sagi if they caught her.
Besides, that sophomore, who didn't deserve a drop of punishment, had enough beatings from them themselves …
As for the junior's sisters, they decided to take advantage until help came for the seniors on the ground. "Fuck her. It will be a while." The sisters said as Makoto sneered and beats the two, who held themselves from crying.
Seiya shut her eyes as Haruka struggled to get the girls off of them. Viciously, they were dragged and tortured with pain. Michiru cried silently with Taiki as Yaten remained silent. The girls were sad that they might die while they were beaten.
One thing that gave them comfort, they were extremely happy that the sophomore had compassion for them. Boy, were they way wrong about her! Still, many bruises, cuts, kicks, punches, and humiliation partook, help was going to take a while to come.
Sagi cried silently, hyperventilating as Lady San stared at her. The sophomore told them everything that was happening, and this time, she remembered to say the name calling, even though she still did not know what that word was, but she remembered to say it correctly as she sobbed the explanation. Everyone's name she knew was mentioned. The Head Mistress looked at her as she ran and called the guards, who followed behind her. Setsuna and Hotaru stared at Sagi and followed as well.
Larxeen noticed the sophomore started to cry more silently and walked away to the sophomore corridor housing. Time passed into the late evening.
Makoto and the girls dropped their weapons once they saw the head mistress and guards. The seniors breathed, battered in blood and bruises on the ground, as they saw the bullies running from Lady San and her guards, who pursued the girls with legal weapons.
Most of all, They were grateful to that girl, so grateful. Something special had to be done for her. If it was not for Sagi, they would have been dead. Seiya shuts her eyes, bleeding, swollen and bruised as she was carried by Setsuna San.
Imagine that.
Sagi.
That girl.
She prayed to the Goddesses, thanking them for bringing that girl into her life, even if that girl never spoke to her in her life again. Those thoughts made her heart ache. Hopefully, one day, she will open her heart to her. Seiya breathed and prayed in silence as she and her friends were taken in by paramedics.
Sagi stayed in her old empty room, where she use to stay with Yuuki. She was not sure if she was allowed here, but at this point she did not care right now. She missed her a lot. Sagi trembled as she thought of Seiya and the others. Seeing them in that state, especially the black haired girl, made her shiver and loose herself.
She thought it would make her happy.
Sagi started to cry hard in silence on the floor, rocking in arms under her legs. She cried out hard as she held herself. Her heart beats slow; but beats nevertheless from her tears. She sends her prayers up to the Goddesses. She did not know what to believe in, but she prayed.
Hate was such an evil emotion. It could destroy you. It almost did with her. Seeing Makoto changed her life and she cried hard as she lies on the floor. She heard her memories of Yuuki speaking. She thought of home, of being alone, of being nonexistent. She hated her life, and she hated herself for hating it. She needed to change for the better. She prayed for that girl to live, that girl needed to live. Sagi regretted not speaking to her in return after she apologized. She felt bad, no promises of acceptance in her life, but at least, she wanted to try to give her another chance. She hoped one day she would open her own heart again, hopefully, she will be granted that before her heart...
What will happen with her heart?
...
A week later...
Setsuna and Hotaru drank coffee in the lounge in silence, unreadable expressions in their eyes as the seniors left them. It was shame, but it was the right thing to do.
Lady San puts her pen down and folds her hands on the desk. Her icy pink eyes looked at the five, who stared back at her.
"Come in, if you wish to speak." She said. Seiya, Taiki, Yaten, Michiru and Haruka, still bruised, swollen and cut from the beating, were scared of her, but went inside. All of them held her stare; they did not flinch, nor steer their eyes away.
The black haired senior looked directly into Lady San's eyes as she whispered.
"We do. And we need to confess to you about what we did in the garden two months ago... We owe it to Yurenkasykuya Sagi."
Lady San pursed her lips as her pink eyes narrowed at them into an icy glare.
"Close the door." Her voice lowly spoke as the door was shut.
