Incubators are a type of monster girl, whose origins and history are unknown. What is known is that they have advanced technology and are probably more advanced than the lunarians in the Lunar Capital.

It is common knowledge that they are emotionless meaning they don't show any emotions at all to anyone or if they can't at all. They don't understand human or mamano emotion at all as well and even after being exposed to demonic energy remain emotionless. They are one of if not the only monster girls that are not interested in seeking out a husband for their own, merely trying to accomplish a goal for the universe at large.

Their goal is to have the thermodynamics-violating emotions of the human race be used to produce energy to prevent the Heat Death of the Universe, the ultimate end of the universe itself. To accomplish this goal they invented the magical girl & true witch system.

They go out to girls and convince them to become magical girls to go out and destroy true witches to collect the grief seeds dropped by the true witches in an exchange for any wish they wanted. After the battles, the incubators would harvest the energy needed to stop Heat Death through unknown means.

The grief seeds would then be used by the magical girls to cleanse their To become magical girls they have the souls of the human girls be transferred to soul gems to give them their powers. However what the incubators didn't tell the magical girls is that if their soul gems become too tainted by carelessly using too much magic or experiencing despair or other negative emotion, then it would turn into a grief seed which a true witch would come out of. The true witches and the mamanos did nothing to stop this system since it would make more true witches be born quicker without being birthed by true witches themselves.

The incubators first came to this world due to the fact that the true witches have disappeared and are trying to find out what happened to them. After discovering the human and mamano war, they decided to use this as a way to gather the energy needed to stop the Heat Death of their own universe, and not ours.

If for whatever reason the incubators' body is destroyed then a new one would come in and devour the body of its predecessor. This duplicate retains the memories of the destroyed incubators' body. This suggests that the species might actually be an entire hive mind since it is known that the incubators don't communicate through verbal speech.

They can turn invisible to everyone who is not a magical girl and it is unknown how this works. They are able to teleport, meaning they can travel across long distances in impossibly short time spans. As mentioned earlier they can collect energy after a magical girl and true witch fight but how is a mystery. They can make the soul gems by transferring the souls of girls and into the egg-shaped gemstone, thus creating magical girls.

The incubators have advanced magical technology, which is said to rival the lunarians tech. It is however unknown to what extent the incubators can use it towards though an example is their use of cloned bodies.

They have alabaster skin, red eyes, and white hair. They have four ears that resemble that of their original form, and not just that but possessing a fluffy whitetail as well. They don't wear any clothing but they don't have any private parts or nipples, but still have small breasts.

One of the most well-known incubators is, Kyuubei, and she is the one who made a contract with Mimil, which she hoped to get more powerful to get more powerful with Elt, but she turned into a true witch after succumbing to her despair in battle with a baphomet. Though she managed to become a part of Elt's harem.
