Just Let Me Adore You

Elsie was playing her music and painting her toenails as a knock was on her door. She opened it to see Sagi moving into her room.

"Nani, Imouto, Daijabou."

"Wakarimasen, Onee." She whispered.

"Talk to me." Shutting the door and moving to her.

Sagi breathed as she walked to her bed.

"Gomen Nasai for interrupting you. I did not know who else to talk to."

"Iie. Sit. I am painting my nails. I will do yours.

Sagi pursed her lips and shut her eyes.

"Kou San, is she okay?"

"Seiya? Doishte?" Elsie asked as her eyes were curious. Sagi looked at her as she bit her lip.

"She was strange last night."

"Well, hai. She was upset. Those women that threatened you took a toll on her. She got drunk with us." Elsie spoke carefully.

"Hai."

"Is there a reason, Sagi Chan? You look like you have more on your mind."

Sagi blushed hard as she pushed her hair back and revealed a dark bruise on her neck.

"Nani… what happened here?" Elsie frowned in a glare as she neared her neck. "Wait, is that…" She gasped, her eyes going wide as the sophomore blushed dark red.

"Kou San…"

"Could it be…? Did you guys...?" Elsie asked excitedly as Sagi frowned.

"Did we what, Onee? I don't know what happened."

"Wait, start at the beginning." She sat down, crossing her legs as Sagi took a breath and told her everything.

"A love bite? Oh…"

"Hai. It's what you give to someone when you care about them."

"But do friends do that? Do I have to do that?"

"Iie. Just with people who you care about, who care about you, more than a friend… curious, between us Sagi Chan, how did you feel when Seiya gave you the…" She pointed to her neck.

"It shocked me a little."

"That's normal."

"Other than that, it felt…"

"Hai…" Elsie grinned as Sagi blushed and looked down.

"A part of me, felt nervous, then warm then, it's scary Elsie Chan but I felt… like I was on fire." She whispered in confession, replaying the events in her head as she subconsciously blushed. She grew scared at Elsie, who was squealing with delight.

"OH My GODDESS, THANK YOU, Hai, I am so happy, so happy my heart sings! It's okay Sagi Chan. You are confused now. One day it will make sense. Just, go with what feels right in here. I'll keep it quiet." She touched her heart and crossed it.

"Okay…" Sagi whispered in confusion as Elsie chanted about love in the air, confusing the sophomore even more.

Colors

Seiya was running laps outside as she breathed. Her eyes were still bruised. Her lips, still cut. She wanted to stay inside, but she needed to take out whatever she drank out of her body. She slowed down as her friend ran next to her.

"Kou, what brings you here this morning?"

"I feel like shit."

"Well yeah, you drank a lot. We both did. All of us."

"Hai…"

"What's up?"

She slowed down to a walk as her sandy blonde best friend slowed down. Eventually getting angst, she moved in front of her and stopped them from walking.

"Nani?"

"Talk to me. Now."

"I've got nothing to say."

"Seiya, we've been best friends since how long?"

"Almost forever."

"And then some. Common, talk to me."

"I don't know if I want to…"

"Hai…" Haruka frowned, still bruised with a cut on her forehead. She breathed and took her hand.

Seiya breathed as Haruka sat down and held her hand.

"Okay. We will stay here, say nothing…"

She looked at her and shut her eyes as other people ran by them.

"Um… have you seen her yet?"

"Who? Oh… her?"

"Hai."

"Seiya, um, I know you have your eye on her, but…"

"Nani?" She frowned as Haruka sighed.

"If she wants to stay closed up, there is nothing we can do. We did everything."

"Haruka, something happened… I think."

"Hai?" Haruka frowned as Seiya looked at her.

"I think I might have done something to her, while I was drunk."

"What?!" Her best friend got up and moved to her. "What did you do?"

"I don't know if it's bad, or if it's good, or if it's… fuck…"

"What happened, tell me," Haruka whispered and squeezed both of her hands. Both of their long ponytails blew in the wind.

"I bit her," Seiya whispered softly as her friend furrowed her eyes.

"Nani, wait, NANI?!" She gasped as her best friend clapped her mouth shut with her hand.

"I was drunk, but she asked me how I was. I did not feel like talking to her after, I was emotional… I don't know what happened, but next thing I knew, I grabbed her from behind and bit, sucked… I marked her."

"Holy fuck." Haruka started to laugh hard as Seiya hissed at her.

"Shut the fuck up Tenouh-shut up!" She whispered into mouthing as the sandy blonde leered at her.

"Fuck, this is priceless. Wait, what did she do?" The sandy blonde went serious as the black-haired beauty breathed.

"I don't know. I left her and fell asleep. I think she tried calling out to me last night after I… marked her, but I was too tired. Drunk. Fuck, I woke up, she was gone from the bed. I don't know where she is. I want to talk to her and explain-"

"What will you tell her?"

"I don't fucking know Haruka? I never did that to someone without being fully conscious. Elsie said she saw her this morning, but she is so fucking tight-lipped, keeps changing the subject, even though she is a great friend of ours, before her, she takes the big sister thing seriously with her. Kept smiling at me though, drives me fucking crazy."

"Okay, we will corner them. If we find Elsie, I will drill her, if we find… her, I will hold her as you drill her."

"Fuck, me, fuck…" Seiya breathed as Haruka pecked her lips.

"Relax. Common, let's hunt for them."

"And then what, after I see her?" She asked apprehensively.

"Well… just… tell her… you wanted to experiment."

"Hai that will go nicely," Seiya said sarcastically.

"Seiya, just say you were drunk. And under the bridge, even if she gets angry or… whatever, Elsie will help you I am sure."

"Hai. Okay." Seiya breathed.

Elsie smiled as she saw the two and went wide-eyed. Sagi looked over and froze.

"Elsie Chan," Haruka called out from the hallway as she held Seiya's hand, who was quiet as she stared at Sagi.

"Nani? What's going on guys? Did you see Mistress Hotaru? She got a new haircut!" She smiled as Sagi whispered something quietly to her.

"Elsie Chan, may we all talk?" Haruka cooed to her as they walked to them.

"Hai. What is it, guys?" Elsie said nervously with a smile as she walked to them. Sagi, however, avoided looking at them as she started to walk off.

"Iie. All of you." Haruka said when her smile dropped, seeing Elsie moved to them, almost derailing them as she took their hands as the sophomore walked further.

"Wanna eat something?" Elsie gasped as Haruka held her, looking at her in disbelief as she glared at the sophomore.

Seiya kindly pulled her hand away. She walked to the other girl, who was going further away from them down the end of the hallway and turned to look behind her, seeing the other girl moving to her.

"Go after her Seiya!" Haruka barked.

"Gomen Nasai Sagi Chan!" Elsie cried defeat in laughter.

Swiftly, Seiya took off towards her target with determination. Sagi went wide-eyed at her as she started to run away, fast.

"Seiya, please go easy on my Imouto! She's delicate!" Elsie fell to the ground in laughter. Haruka grinned and watched them go.

Within the maze of the garden, the younger girl managed to hide for a bit, but the older girl somehow found her pattern and went hot on her heels.

Sagi ran fast. Her heart was going at rapid speeds. She did not dare look behind her.

Seiya ran faster as she was almost trailing her.

Away from the school and away from anybody else in view, Sagi got lost as she ran.

"Shit." She whispered and gasped. Her hand was grasped and pulled ahead. Just as she was being the one propelled, her body was pulled into a secret clove and pinned against the grass.

"The fuck?" Sagi cursed in shock.

"Gomen Nasai. I had to reach you. You wouldn't give me a chance to talk."

Her eyes shut tight as they both were able to retrieve their breath. Sagi covered her eyes with her hands, red in the face.

"Daijabou."

"Hai," Sagi whispered. Her hands were tenderly moved from her eyes as she kept her eyes shut.

"Hey."

A sweet cinnamon breath trailed on her lips as she opened her eyes.

"Gomen…?"

"Daijabou?" Seiya looked at her with concern as Sagi breathed and nodded calmly.

"Hai." She looked at her as the senior moved to her hair, moving it away from her neck.

Sure enough, her mark was there on her skin.

She released her soft strands, straightened herself up a bit and looked into her eyes. Sagi stared at her as she breathed.

"Sagi, what I did to you last night…"

"Why are you upset at me?"

"Nani? Iie, I am not upset at you."

"You are not?"

"Iie. I may have been emotional, but nothing to do with you. I was drunk. If I was sounding mean, I am sorry. I am so sorry, Sagi San."

"You bit me. Are you sure you were not mad at me?"

"About that…"

"Hai…?"

Sagi breathed as Seiya stared at her.

"I was not mad at you, no matter what I said last night. When I get drunk, I get confused, to the point of talking shit. And when I marked you, it was not because I was mad at you. I don't do that to people I am upset at."

"Oh. Okay…" Sagi breathed in and averted her eyes.

"Are you upset at me?"

"Hm?"

"About…"

"Ah, Iie. I was just… surprised." Sagi whispered as she kept her eyes down.

Seiya looked at her eyes. There was an urge of wanting to do something with her, especially those lips that looked like soft petals. She breathed and shut her eyes.

"I am crazy, Sagi San. Gomen Nasai."

"Daijabou."

"Come. Let me treat you somewhere."

"Oh… okay."

"Good. I promise you, I am normal."

"I know…"

Seiya looked down as she turned and extended her hand. The sophomore looked at it for a while, but no matter how tempting it was to drop her hand, the senior remained patient.

Then, softly, a soft hand enveloped into hers.

The elders saw two girls going to the private booth in the back. One had black bruises on her eyes, cuts on her lips. The other had a bruise on her neck. They whispered to each other until their food arrived.

Sagi breathed as the watermelon soda was placed on the table. Seiya sat down, ignoring the others who looked at them. She placed her own watermelon soda in her hand. They both were in the private round booth, secluded.

The two looked down at the table. No one said anything. The blonde slowly trailed the perspiration on the soda can. The black-haired teen looked over at her can.

"Is that the right one, Sagi San?"

"Ah? Hai. Arigatou Gozaimasu Kou San."

She popped the can open and softly placed the straw in. Her mouth formed a small o as she softly sucked until the sizzling watermelon fizz touched her tongue. Crystal blue eyes looked up, doe-eyed and soft, remaining innocent.

Midnight sapphire blue eyes watched the soft pink lips taking in the straw, sucking in the fizz of the drink. She slowly popped her can open with grace and ease, softly trailing off the paper of the pink straw, and placing the stick into the can, without ever taking her eyes off of those soft lips.

The blonde drank as she stared at her eyes before seeing her taking the straw into her mouth, drinking in the soda. Her eyes trailed down to her luscious lips, even though a bit cut from the fight yesterday, it was sensual looking, softly sucking in the straw. Her blush ran up to her face as she averted her eyes down to the top can of her soda.

Sagi released her straw. She breathed, feeling refreshed.

Seiya slowly released her straw, breathing as she kept her eyes on her lips.

The sophomore looked at her, seeing the bruises near her beautiful eyes, and seeing the cut on her lips. She saw the senior trailing up from her lips up to her eyes as she blushed hard and looked down a bit.

"Sagi San."

"Hai."

Seiya leaned in as Sagi looked up at her.

"I want to get to know you."

"Okay…"

"Um… tell me… about you."

"Nani?"

"Tell me about you. Anything."

"Hai. Well, my name is Yurenkasykuya, Sagi. I am 16. Sophomore."

Seiya pursed her lips as the blonde frowned in discomfort.

"What do you like to do? Tell me about your family? What does your Otousan do? Or your Okaasan?"

"Um… I don't know. My family does not talk as much. My Onee is getting married. My Okaasan goes out with her friends. My Otousan does business with some of his people."

"Business in what?"

"I don't know."

Sagi breathed and sighed. The black-haired teen looked at her eyes as she breathed and set her watermelon aside.

"Are there any hobbies you like? Do you like the arts? Do you like to sing, dance, act?"

"Nani?"

"Perform?"

"Oh, Goddess. Iie. I don't perform. Don't like public speaking."

"Hai…" Seiya frowned as she breathed. She pursed her lips as Sagi breathed and looked down, feeling shy.

"What do you and Siren do? Or your friends?"

"Um… homework."

"You guys go out, right? This is a pretty new place I took you now. Do you like to go out doing something?"

"I guess. Takes me out of school for a bit."

"You don't like it? School, I mean?"

"I don't dislike it. I just could do without, struggling in subjects I am not strong in or something."

"You have to be good in at least one thing, Sagi San, you probably have not found it."

"Hai…" Sagi looked at her as she looked at her own can of soda, feeling unsteady.

"Hai… um… you like the club with Elsie, though, right?"

"Nani?"

"Even though you left… kind of early, without counting what happened afterward, with stupid people… you had fun, right?"

"I guess?"

"Curious Sagi San…?"

"Iie, I was not feeling good."

"Iie. Not that. Won't ask you that."

"Okay…"

Sagi looked at her as Seiya stared at her with tenderness.

"Um… why were you crawling on the floor?"

"Floor?"

"At the club. You tripped a bit, but you never got back up. We were wondering why?"

"Oh. Um." Sagi went quiet as Seiya looked down at her soda can, but then looked at her as she softly spoke.

"The bouncer was scary."

The senior looked at her in disbelief as the sophomore breathed and shrugged.

"Honestly, I don't think I was even supposed to be there. He was kicking people out, making them cry. I was shoved inside while he was screaming at someone. He terrifies me. I tripped, stayed down, and since I was already inside, I did not want to get in trouble, so I crawled, hoping he would not see me."

"Were you afraid to get back up?"

"Hai. I was afraid he would have seen me, screamed at me, grab me, and toss me out. He is huge."

"Oh, Sagi. I would have protected you."

"I was not allowed there though."

"So what? I would have protected you."

Sagi breathed and swallowed as she remembered her date and looked down.

"You don't believe me?"

"Iie, it's not that."

"Nani? Tell me. I won't judge."

"You had your… girlfriend. I did not want to bother you guys with that."

"Girlfriend? Uh-OH." Seiya breathed and chuckled hard as she shook her head.

"Nani? Doishte, why are you laughing?" Sagi frowned, wide-eyed as the senior winked at her.

"Sagi, she is not my girlfriend. That woman was married."

She froze as the sophomore's jaw dropped and her eyes went wide. The senior realized what she said and froze. She extended her hand, saving her words swiftly.

"I did not know at the time. The woman did not say anything when she went with me inside. She made me believe she was single until she told me she had a husband, and then I ran away from her with Haruka, who she tried to molest as well. But I did not know she was married, Sagi San. I am not like that. I am not like that Sagi San? Okay?" Seiya whispered with concern in her eyes as Sagi breathed and nodded.

"Why did she go out with you?"

"I don't know. She has a husband, last time we spoke. That's when I broke it off when she told me."

"And… she likes… boys? I thought… wait, so confused."

"I think she was experimenting. I don't know. Don't give a damn."

"Hai… why would she do that?"

"I don't know Sagi. I asked myself the same question."

"Hai…"

"I swear, I am respectful to marriages. I would never cheat, or have someone cheat with me. But no matter what, even if she was my girlfriend, her not being married or in a relationship, of course, I would still protect you."

"Arigatou. Hai, I don't think you would do that. I am just surprised at her. Shocked really… you seem to really like her. I feel bad for you. Both of you looked great together."

This was actually the first time the blonde teen lied, but she did not have the heart to be cruel. The black-haired teen looked at the blonde with confusion.

"Oh… Arigatou. That is so sweet of you. Honestly Sagi, I don't like her."

"You don't?"

"Iie, I don't."

"Okay…"

For someone who kissed a lot, they apparently don't dislike each other enough. She held her emotions back as the other read her a bit.

"We've kissed a few times before I knew her marriage, I enjoyed her company, and yes, I was lonely. But I was not attracted to her mentally. Physically, I liked her bod-"

Sagi looked at her as Seiya went tight-lipped and stayed silent, blushing red, watching her.

"Daijabou, Kou San?"

"Hai, Gomen Nasai. Sometimes I get carried away."

"You don't have to talk about it anymore if you don't want to. I could tell it makes you uncomfortable."

"I am not in a relationship, Sagi San. I am single…"

"You don't have to talk about her, I understand Kou San."

"Iie it's not that, Sagi San. I was about to say something inappropriate, that I don't think you are ready to hear. You seem innocent."

"You sound like Elsie and Siren."

"Nani?"

"They say the same thing to me." Sagi whispered as she kept quiet.

"Does it bother you? When people say that to you?" Seiya looked at her as she blushed and pursed her lips.

The sophomore breathed as she sighed.

"It bothers me when they try to tell me something, then keep quiet, or hold back, and then talk in riddles, like Larxene, making me guess what the heck they are talking about to me. I don't like to be kept in the dark, especially if they are trying to say something about me. It's fine if people don't want to talk about what they want to be kept secret. I would say don't go into it at all. But I don't like being teased, not getting something that's being said. It's cruel to me."

"Hai. I agree. Never my intention, I would not want to offend you. I was only talking about liking her body. That's all. I guess they did not want to shock you. Probably because a lot of things are new to you. As you mentioned, your family does not talk to you. So I am sure they did not teach you about the world."

"Iie. You are right about that."

"But I am single…" She whispered.

"Hai... I know…" Her companion replied in a whisper.

"Sagi… I know you and Siren are close… are you guys… together?"

"Together? Not today. Yesterday, I was. But today, no. I was together with Onee this morning until you guys came. Me, Elsie and Siren, we are all good friends, as well as Larxene, Xion, and Miyu."

"Oh. Iie. I just meant… are you dating anyone?"

"Nani? Dating?"

"Hai."

"Iie..."

Seiya watched her as Sagi looked at her in confusion and looked down at what seems like discomfort. No one ever asked her that question before…

Who would want her like that? No one.

She leaned over her can and drank some more soda. The senior took her watermelon fizz in front of her and drank some more, looking at her lips and then her eyes. The sophomore released her drink but kept her eyes down on the table. The senior stopped drinking as she looked at her.

"You feel out of place, don't you?"

"Hai."

"I know how you feel."

"Really? That's shocking. You seem to fit in, no problem."

"Hai. But you are unique. And from what I observed, you seem like a great friend to Siren, Larxene, Xion, Elsie and Miyu. I just know it. That is something you are great at."

Sagi looked at her in disbelief as Seiya lingered on her and smiled.

"What makes you say so?"

"You are a great listener. That is something that I noticed about you. Even when we were not… getting along when we all started. You tend to hear things others don't. Your intuition is off the charts. That is frighteningly cool about you. Those friends of yours look at you with such reverence that it struck me in awe of you."

Sagi blushed hard as she looked at her, breathing.

"No one has ever said that to me before."

Seiya kept her eyes on her as she looked at her, breathing slowly.

"Oh, am I your first?" Her voice cooed in a whisper.

"Hai." She whispered.

For some reason, that question made those cheeks blush hard, which made the other one smile at her answer.

She liked her.

"Do you believe it? Yourself?"

"I guess? I hope so…"

"Believe it. Believe in yourself, Sagi San. You are."

The sophomore breathed as she looked down on the table.

"Arigatou." She whispered as her voice wavered a bit. The black-haired teen caught it, blushing a bit.

Food arrived at the table, but neither acknowledged it.

"Sagi, I know I acted weird that night, at the club, but what Elsie did with Siren was… I did notice."

"Notice? Nani?"

"You."

Sagi breathed as Seiya looked at her.

"What about me?"

"You were a knockout."

"Knockout?" She looked at her in confusion.

"Hai." She cooed in a soft, flirtatious manner, gaining more courage.

"What's that?"

The black-haired arched her eyebrow as the blond beauty remained confused.

Sagi was definitely something.

Seiya breathed as she figured out what to say to her, this time to make her completely understand, what she did to her that night.

She then remembered something she said earlier about a Jasminum flower, and moved and leaned closer to her as the younger girl remained, breathing in stillness. The older girl's hand moved behind her head and stayed on top of the booth seat. The other hand relaxed on the table, making the girl breathe unsteady as she was somewhat encased, more private, and blush hard.

"It means you are breathtaking."

Sagi blushed red for a long time as Seiya stared at her.

"Arigatou." She whispered, managing to find her voice.

"Hai. You are."

She looked at her, wide-eyed in disbelief. The senior breathed and went for it.

"Those clothes they gave you, showed you who you are. And with your hair and the glitter, it brought out your eyes. I'm really looking at you now. You are stunning."

Sagi blushed a deep red as she stopped breathing. Seiya tenderly smiled at her.

"You don't believe me." She cooed tenderly.

"No one's- I mean the others said nice things, but they are my friends."

"Well, I am telling you the truth."

"Hai… Arigatou."

"One day, you will believe me on that. I hope you do."

Seiya saw her stay quiet, shy as she kept her eyes on her soda. Sagi breathed and swallowed, almost unable to breathe.

"Sagi San, may I ask you something?"

"Hai."

"Are we really friends?"

The sophomore breathed as the senior looked at her with kindness.

"I don't expect forgiveness. I still am honoring you with that. But I would love to believe that we are friends now. And I am so sorry."

Sagi looked up at her as she saw the senior's eyes well up a bit. She breathed softly and subtly nodded once.

"Are we really friends, Sagi San?" Seiya whispered as she extended her hand in a delicate truce, open-palmed on the table, as the sophomore looked at her.

After a while, she slowly brought up her delicate hand and placed it on the girl's palm. Hands held in a soft, assuring squeeze.

A subtle nod formed on the blonde teen as the black haired teen softly smiled, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Friends," Sagi whispered in defeat, but she felt light inside of her heart.

"Arigatou, Sagi San. It means a lot to me, to hear you say that, and that I have the honor to be your friend." Seiya whispered as a thumb soothed her skin.

The sophomore blushed hard, looking at her thumb, as the senior looked at her and looked at their hands.

Together. It was frightening, how their hands were with each other.

Perfect fit.

The senior blushed hard and paused as they looked at each other.

"Let's eat."

"Hai."

The girls shyly released their hands as they dug into good food, which smelled delicious.

Footsteps trailed on the cement in adagio rhythm. The wind blew as the smell of roses filled the air.

The blonde girl had her hair down as it was blowing in the wind. She truly enjoyed her meal, and despite her still having strange emotions for her new friend, she did really enjoy getting to know her a bit.

She discovered her dreams of being a singer. Even though she is a talented dancer and actor, singing is what she desires to go into. She never heard her sing before, but she secretly looks forward to hearing her.

As for her demeanor, and discovering her as a person, she started to see a side of her that she would never believe she would see in her life. She was very caring, kind, and at times, with friends, funny, something that Miyu, Elsie, and Siren mentioned on a few basis. At times, something she noticed on her own observation, because she was on the receiving end of this, and did not know of others receiving this, she had tenderness.

That shocked her.

Trust was still on the fence regarding this girl and her four other friends. She knew now that they were genuine. Doubt was erased on that aspect. But her fear tends to block her from fully opening herself up to them, as she does with others. Tonight, it was a bit easier, being on her own with just her. This girl was easy to talk to, the more she got to know her. She would never admit it out loud, but she is curious about getting to know more of her, with more outings like this.

The black-haired girl had her hair up in a long ponytail as it blew in the wind. She walked next to her, feeling the breeze and walking with her new friend. Even though there was still some apprehension from her, she did start to see some of the warmth that she has been craving for a while. She hopes to see more.

She discovered that this girl is still getting to know herself. There are a lot of things she herself does not know, regarding her interests and what she wants out of life. She did get to know some parts of her personality, and despite having a quiet demeanor, which tends to be mysterious, it kept her attention and made her extremely attractive. And when she did speak, she seemed to be extremely intelligent and intuitive.

She loved that about her.

It was a shame, for now at least, that she herself was not able to see how great a person she truly was then. This girl is such an amazing person, with a heart of gold.

Those qualities, which she was just discovering, made her shine.

Jealousy sometimes provoked her spirit when she thought of her close friends receiving her warmth on a full-time basis. But now that she had one on one with her, she preferred to discover her more on her own, especially with more personal and private outings like this.

Seiya looked over at Sagi, who kept her eyes ahead as the breeze continued.

"You look beautiful with your hair like that."

"Nani?" She whispered in a blush.

"You do, look beautiful."

"You are too kind Kou San. Arigatou anyways."

She was halted by her as she stood in front of her.

"I mean what I say. You don't have to believe it, but believe me."

Sagi breathed as she looked at her. She averted her eyes as the black-haired beauty moved to her, watching the blond strands flowing behind and around her.

"You look beautiful." She whispered once more.

"Arigatou." She whispered in disbelief.

Their eyes locked on each other as Sagi blushed harder. Seiya watched her as she delicately moved a hair strand and placed it behind her ear, causing her to shudder.

"I'm in trouble." A whisper escaped her lips.

"Nani?"

The black-haired beauty looked at her as she breathed and shut her eyes. She said nothing for a long while as the blonde beauty moved closer to her.

"Nani, what do you mean you are in trouble Kou San?"

She opened her eyes and looked at her concerned hues.

"Daijabou?"

The blonde watched her in concern as the black-haired girl moved up to her, keeping eye contact as she breathed in.

"Hai."

She felt her hand softly grasp her as she looked down at their hands. Together.

It was truly frightening, how much of a perfect fit this felt. She was startled.

Sagi's breath caught a bit as her thumb soothed her skin. This time, there was no pause on the tenderness.

"Thank you for coming out with me. It means a lot to me."

"Hai. Arigatou. I had a good time."

"I am glad."

They kept locked on each other as Seiya looked at her lips.

"Let's go to school now, Sagi San."

"Hai. I don't want to get you in trouble." Sagi sighed as she smiled.

"You already did," Seiya whispered in a low voice, barely enough for the other to hear.

"Nani, Kou San? Gomen Nasai, I did not catch that."

"Daijabou. I am good."

She held her hand as they walked back.

"Sagi San, you may call me Seiya… if you want to."

Sagi was quiet and said nothing. The senior breathed and sighed.

"You can. Just wanted you to know. I'd like that. I'd like that very much."

She remained quiet as they walked, hand in hand.

"Is this okay, Sagi San?" She held their hands up a bit.

"Hai. It's fine."

They walked in silence as their hands remained in a hold. After a walk of silence, the sophomore breathed, making the senior lose her breath.

"Arigatou, for taking me out again."." Sagi whispered as her blush darkened a bit. Seiya blushed harder but remained quiet as she squeezed her hand a bit.

"Anytime."

They looked at each other.

"Anytime," Seiya whispered in a promise. Sagi breathed as she averted her eyes.

The two walked for a long while as the sky darkened a bit.
