Right Here

Shigeru swallowed as Tsubaki gulped. But like experienced mischiefs, they gracefully responded.

"School renovations-"

"Hai. We were all ordered out of the school for the majority of the day-"

"Mistresses gave us permission, you may check with them yourselves-"

"The mistress gave all of you permission to leave the school?" Galexia asked as she frowned.

"Hai! Go ask the Mistresses yourself! All of us left the school. And the seniors were in charge of watching the underclassmen. Gomen Nasai we are hesitant to give you information. Since you don't look like a student, we don't recognize you-"

"That is because I'm an alumni. I graduated a few years ago."

"Oh? Then you should know better!"

"Sumimasen, you should know better to respect your senpai. I'm both your senpai, you hear?! Learn your manners."

"Hai! We will!" Shigeru sternly spoke as Galexia frowned.

Tsubaki said nothing and raised her nose in the air.

"When are the renovations completed?"

"It should be done now. We took your sister back at 5pm."

"Then why are both out of school?"

"We are seniors. We have permission to leave on our own. Did you forget? How old are you?"

"Are you seriously asking me that question?"

"With all due respect, we don't know you. So we want to make sure. The fact that you asked why we had permission when we are seniors makes us wonder if you were a student at all."

Galexia hissed in disbelief as they went silent and snuffed her.

"Our mothers are waiting for us at home. If you insist, you may come with us and speak to them."

"Iie. I've no interest in speaking with your mothers. I was only interested in my Imouto San… is she doing well in school?"

"Oh yes. She is excelling. A good girl too. She loves soda and candy."

"Does she? That's nice… I might pop by to visit her sometime."

"Yeah, why didn't you?! She wonders why you never visit. It's a good thing we are there."

"She said that?" Galexia whispered as her eyes looked wounded.

"Hai. We will replace you as her , lovely chatting with you. Galaxy San."

"Sumimasen-Galexia San." Galexia frowned.

"Galaxy San. Hai." Shigeru snapped.

"Iie. Galexia San." Galexia snapped.

"Hai. That's what we said. Galaxy San!" Tsubaki snapped.

"Galexia San-" Galexia hissed as she went red.

"GALAXY SAN! HAI! OYASUMENASAI!" Shigeru chanted in anger.

"GALEXIA SAN!" Galexia shouted in anger, then looked around in embarrassment as the onlookers passed by, wide-eyed.

"HAI! GALAXY SAN!" Tsubaki clapped her hands as they chanted.

Galexia raised her eyebrow as they bowed way low to her and left, linked elbows.

"Bakas…" She whispered in shock as she watched them walk on. She thought of her younger sister and decided she will convince her fiance to drop her off school to see her later next week.

The moon hid behind the dark clouds as the stars shimmered within the dark sky.

They sat in silence, not saying a word. Both remained still as their hands continued to hold close.

Sagi breathed as she felt her hand encase hers. She kept her eyes on the window, looking at the moon and stars. Then she felt soft fingers on her inner palm, caressing with tenderness, making her shudder a bit and feel warm all over. She blushed hard as her heart started to pound hard, but she was too shy to look at the girl next to her... still. She lost count how many times she held hands with her. This was extremely new. All of this.

She never had this kind of tenderness in her life. She couldn't think of anything else.

Seiya looked at her hand and caressed her inner palm, despite the slight shudder. She couldn't think of anything else except this moment, which made her feel anew. Never had she felt this about anyone before.

She interlaced her fingers with the other girl. She gradually looked at her, noticing she was still shy, and scoot closer to her as she switched her hand to hold hers. Then she slipped her arm around the back of her waist and leaned her head into her neck and shoulder, placing her lips on her shoulder.

"What's on your mind?"

"Nani?"

"What are you thinking about?"

"Uh… I… I…"

Seiya remained on her, shutting her eyes as she felt relief, leaning against her. She never felt such a safe haven as she did right now. She loved this feeling.

"No secrets between us, Odango."

"Kou-Seiya-S-" Sagi yelped in a gasp as Seiya gently bit her, making her go red.

"Nani!?" She squeaked.

"First names only, Sagi." Seiya softly giggled as she kissed her shoulder, making her blush harder.

"I don't have secrets, K-Seiya S-" She yelped in a gasp as the girl bit her again with a grin.

"Nani, I said Seiya?!" Sagi squeaked in disbelief as Seiya kissed her shoulder.

"Hai. But I heard the 'K…' and I don't want to hear that sound coming from your lips." She whispered lovingly as she looked at her lips.

"Nani, I didn't mean it." The girl pouted in a whisper, making the other girl smile and moved her lips to her ear, causing her to shudder.

"I know. I'm just giving you a loving, gentle reminder." Seiya whispered to her ear as she smiled. Sagi sighed and shut her eyes.

She actually didn't mind being like this with her for some reason.

"You're thinking about something."

"Nani? I'm not thinking about anything."

"Doushite?"

"Because I have a hard time thinking now."

"Oh…" Seiya grinned as Sagi blushed hard, making her chuckle.

"You are too cute, Odango. I'm going to eat you up."

"Iie. I said your name."

"Hai. You did. I might change my mind and just eat you up anyways."

"Douishite? I said your name?!"

"Hai you did. But you are too cute. I can't help it."

Sagi pouted with a frown as she shut her eyes, her heart pounding harder. Seiya grinned wide and embraced her close, soothing her hand. She also blushed with her.

"Do you hate my bites, Odango?" She whispered tenderly.

"Nani?"

"Do you hate me, still?"

"Iie, I don't hate you."

"But you don't like my bites."

"Because I feel like you're mad at me when you do."

"Iie, I'm not mad at you."

"But you don't like it when I call you… you know… that name."

"Hai that's true. I want us to be close… I only bite you because I think you are cute."

"That doesn't make any sense."

"Hai. Neither of us make sense."

"Nani?! I make sense."

"Hai. How come you're cute, then, hm? How come you make me want to bite you?"

"I… I… I don't know."

"It doesn't make sense, you being too cute. And it doesn't make sense, me wanting to bite you because of it."

"I'm so confused."

"That's why you don't make sense. I don't make sense… together, we make sense, ne?"

"I'm beyond confused."

Seiya chuckled and bit her softly as Sagi yelped.

"Nani! You bit me again."

"Hai, I did."

Sagi blushed hard as Seiya grinned at her. This senior was so mischievous! The sophomore went wide eyed.

"You're going to bite me again, aren't you… Seiya San?"

"You are too cute, Sagi. You have an ongoing cuteness. Of course I'm going to bite you. What do you think would happen between us?"

Seiya blushed hard as she went silent at what she just blurted out. Sagi went wide eyed as she was beat-red. The senior shut her eyes and buried her head into the sophomore's shoulder.

"Sagi… you have no idea what you do to me."

"Nani… what do I do to you?"

"You have no idea."

Seiya looked at her as Sagi breathed in stillness. She looked at her lips and remained still.

"I want us to do this again."

"Do what?"

"Date."

"Oh…" Sagi went red as Seiya looked at her.

"Would you want to do this again with me?"

Sagi thought about their afternoon. She truly did enjoy her company, even though she had no idea what was fully going on, with the way she was looking at her, with the way she was speaking with her, with the way she was…

"Hai." She softly whispered.

Seiya looked at her as she leaned in. Sagi shuddered as she felt her lips tenderly kiss on the corner of her lips, making her heart pound loud. Then she felt her lips move to place a tender kiss on the other corner of her lips. Her face went crimson.

No one ever came this close! It felt very… she didn't know what she was feeling, but this was different.

Seiya's skin was crimson as she looked at her lips and then looked at her eyes. She wanted to. She so wanted to.

But Sagi seemed shy… so she'd have to go really slow. She would do this right. Take time. They will definitely spend more time together. Seiya took her chin and soothed her lower lip with her thumb, looking at her lips and then at her eyes.

"This was the best date I've been on thus far, Sagi. Arigatou Gozaimasu."

"Douishimashite…" Sagi whispered automatically as she was still in a daze by the moments before.

"I know school is going to be hell with research and exams and the next few weeks. Also our show is coming up as well as my audition next week in London. But we will do this again, and I want to plan us going out together… I want us to have privacy. Completely, when we spend time together… I want to do this right, without any interruptions."

Sagi looked at her eyes, still dazed as she felt like floating.

"Nani… do what… what interruptions?"

"This one." Seiya whispered in a sigh as a knock was heard on the door. The girls realized it was ten and got up to get ready for bed. Mistress Hotaru came in and smiled.

"Lights out soon. Ladies."

"Oyasumenasai, Mistress Hotaru San." Sagi whispered as Seiya followed.

"Oyasumenasai, Ladies." Mistress Hotaru bowed and left.

The two got ready for bed.

Sagi picked up her towel as well as her nightgown.

"Is your show coming up?" Her voice was so soft. Seiya grabbed her towel and clothes subconsciously.

"Hai. The Rose Recital."

"That must be exciting."

"It's very."

"Yes…"

"I would love it if you came."

"Absolutely."

Sagi breathed and shyly saw Seiya had her towel, she paused at her towel and grinned at her.

"Oh, did you want to use the bathroom first…Seiya San…?"

"I could wait, Sagi."

"Are you sure, Seiya San?"

"Absolutely. Ladies, first, Sagi."

Seiya lingered on her as Sagi blushed. She moved to the bathroom and went to shower, shutting the door.

Seiya sat on the bed, leaning back on her hands as she watched the bathroom door, and then laid on her back as she looked up at the ceiling.

She kissed the corners of her mouth. It felt so much bliss.

While she was with her, she couldn't think of anything. But now that she was showering, which made her blush, she could think about their date…

It literally was the best date she's ever been on. And it was the first date that was truly intimate without much physical contact.

She remembered whenever she dated prior, she would jump to kisses and second base.

With Kakyuu, they would press upon each other's bodies in the nude and make out. It was filled with excitement. Kakyuu wanted to experiment. And Seiya was getting over a heartbreak. They had a lot of fun. But they got along better as friends rather than lovers. It was totally cool. Kakyuu graduated, married to a wonderful man who treated her right, and they kept in touch.

Prior to them being a couple, she dated Taiki and Yaten once, separately. It didn't work out apparently with her, but they worked out well with each other. She was genuinely happy for them.

Back as a freshman, she had full blown sex with Haruka. They tried everything with each other. They were each others' first. Their relationship was hardcore, intimate, loving, and heartbreaking when it ended. It took time to heal, especially when they had that ugly fight because of Michiru when she came into the picture. But Haruka refused to have their friendship end, no matter how angry they were at each other. They went through heaven and hell together. Seiya didn't want to lose her either. So they had closure that final night, and promised each other they would be there for each other no matter what. Even though both of them healed, Seiya was still affected on and off. Even when she dated Kakyuu. Even when she dated other women. There was always that discomfort that would cross her emotions whenever she saw Haruka and Michiru together. And it remained throughout her high school years.

Until Sagi came.

Then everything changed and turned her entire world around. Yurenkasykuya, Sagi was an unexpected tour de force. She never saw Her coming. Neither of them did. And it was the most tumultuous, crazy, scary, and frightening introduction they had ever received from anyone in their lives.

And Seiya found herself enraptured by her quiet moonlit demeanor.

She was still not out of the explosion of her anger. What they did to Sagi due to Sarah's lies and what they did to her when they assumed she did to Elsie, due to Sarah's lies, was despicable. They deserved to take a hard beating from Makoto and her older sisters. Sagi saved her and all of them from those gangsters. And they really saw who she really was… It fucking stung. She wishes she could do a do-over.

It took moving mountains to get to where she was with her. But now she was here.

She wouldn't fuck it up with her again. Ever.

Though Sagi is now her friend now, and possibly more… hopefully… there was still that guarded expression that would cloud those eyes. Sagi never offered forgiveness. She offered friendship, which is so valuable to her heart. But not forgiveness. She didn't think she would ever receive forgiveness.

Yet, with that, came another sucker-punch moment. Seiya grew attracted to her. She liked her. And she liked that she liked her. And Sagi was the first person who was… her own unique self. There is literally no one like Her.

And oddly enough, it seemed Sagi...

That girl was making her work for it. She never worked for anyone. Ever. Whether she meant to have her work for her or not, which she believed Sagi had no clue that she was doing, she currently has Seiya working for her affection and such.

So this is what this feels like. Her feeling for her was stronger than she ever felt anyone in her life. She even dared to think, stronger than Haruka…

Seiya smiled as she held her heart and her stomach, feeling butterflies floating around. She breathed as she blushed hard and shut her eyes.

And she was worth it. Sagi was fucking worth it.

Days passed at the school. Surprise quizzes popped up. The girls groaned at the hard questions, but despite the fear of failure, Sagi, for the first time, recognized the materials, and she started to pass with flying colors. And whenever she was pulled aside after class and questioned by the teachers, she was able to answer how she was able to solve the problems. She felt pride. And she had to thank Katanowe San for that.

Then she was shocked when her father came to the school with Galexia.

"Yurenkasykuya San, Sir, what a pleasure to see you." Principal Lady San bowed as he bowed in return.

"Arigatou Gozaimasu, Mistress Lady San. I would like to take my daughter out. Is she almost done with her schooling?"

"Why, yes. Yurenkasykuya, Sagi San should be done with her classes soon. Feel free to wait here and I will send for her. And you, it's a pleasure to see you looking so well. Congratulations on your engagement."

"Arigatou Gozaimasu, Principal Lady San." Galexia whispered and bowed as the principal looked at her assistant.

"Would you fetch Yurenkasykuya from her class? She should be done soon. Her Otousan will be waiting for her along her Oneesan."

"Yes, Principal Lady San." One of the assistants left with a note.

Senior Yurenkasykuya breathed and watched his daughter, who remained poised in her seat.

"We are taking your sister out and having dinner together. Then we will bring her straight back here. Your mother should meet us at the restaurant after she is done with her errands."

"Yes, Otousan."

"Your sister should be doing well."

"I believe she will, Otousan."

Galexia averted her eyes down to her gloves as Yurenkasykuya Sr. looked at his watch, then scrolled down his cell. He saw a missed call and returned it.

Sagi finished gym class. She started to feel exhausted, but she was able to steer clear from the ball tossing on the court. She hated gym and anything to do with it. She never understood Seiya San, nor Tenouh enjoying the class. It made her frown in disgust thinking how much they enjoyed gym.

Both of them seemed absent due to their recital coming up. This time Katanowe San and the others were opting out as they had to do their own school work and other auditions they intended to do for their art programs once they graduated.

Katanowe San intended to go to London to study theater as well as astronomy. Takahashi San, based on what Katanowe San told her, was going to Paris to study fashion. Kaiouh San was going to Germany to intern with an orchestra. Tenouh San was believed to want to go into music as well as racing. Sagi didn't know what school that girl would pursue, but it would be somewhere in America, like Seiya San-

Sagi felt a sharp pang that was sudden in her heart. She frowned. It's been a while since her heart acted up. Why did it act up all of a sudden. It started to pound hard as she started to feel somewhat sick in her stomach. She noticed the office intern approaching her, and she bowed to her before she was able to go to her lockers to change.

"Yurenkasykuya San? I believe your family is in the office. Your Otousan and Oneesan intend to take you out for a family dinner. Please change quickly and meet up with Principal Lady San so she may sign you out.

"Hai. Arigatou Gozaimasu." Sagi bowed and swiftly left to change her uniform.

Once she looked presentable, she walked to the building and knocked on the door.

"Come in." Principal Lady's San voice called out as she entered. She bowed to her as she noticed her father and sister and bowed.

"Otousan, Oneesan, Konnichiwa Gozaimasu."

"Konnichiwa Gozaimasu, Imouto San." Her sister watched her as she bowed to her, startling Sagi.

"Konnichiwa Gozaimasu. You look very well." Her father smiled.

"Arigatou Gozaimasu, Otousan."

"How are you doing in school?"

"Much better, Otousan... At the start I struggled a bit. But I got tutors to help me, and make good marks."

"That's good. I want you to get excellent marks though. Always strive to do your very best.."

"Hai, Otousan. I promise, I will strive to make excellent marks. Arigatou Gozaimasu."

"Yurenkasykuya San surprisingly is making strides." Principal Lady San looked over her file.

"Wonderful to hear. Are you hungry?" Senior asked his daughter as she nodded.

"Hai. Please. Is mother joining us?"

"Hai. She will meet us at the restaurant. Ready?'

"Hai."

"Let's go."

Seiya walked with Haruka as they finished rehearsal. They were beat.

"We are going to kill it this Saturday. I know it."

"Hai. We so will-"

Seiya paused as Haruka looked at her and looked head, frowning as they saw Sagi walking outside with her father and older sister.

Yurenkasykuya Sr. placed his hand on his daughter's shoulder as Galexia followed behind in silence. Sagi looked ahead, oblivious to the mood of her sister, nor her audience.

Sarah was walking with Maria as she laughed about something silly. However, she froze at the sight of her ex-girlfriend and frowned. Galexia didn't bother looking at her. She kept her eyes on Sagi.

Two men with sunglasses and suits looked at the family and opened the limo. The third door opened for them as the father extended his hand for Sagi. She bowed to him and got in as her sister followed behind. The door was shut as he walked around to the second door and got in. The men in suits got in the limo and drove off, other cars following behind.

Haruka held Seiya's hand, who was a bit white from shock, trembling a bit as they continued to clandestinely walk to their dorms. Michiru stepped out to meet them.

"Did I see whom I thought I saw?"

"Hai. It was them."

"Shit… I wonder where she's going…?"

"Maybe a family outing… she seemed fine." Yaten spoke as she stepped out with Taiki.

"Hai. Let's go inside. We need to get our remaining homework done before the show."

"I'll catch you guys up."

The girls went inside. Haruka looked at Seiya, who was looking down at the floor.

"Seiya… are you sure… about her?" Haruka whispered.

"Nani?"

"You know… are you pursuing her still… considering… them?"

"As long as none of you say anything… I don't see what the issue is… as long as she doesn't say anything… I hope she doesn't… I feel like she likes me. She hasn't said anything, but… we kind of dated."

"I think she does. You should ask her… another time. When no family members come to visit. I'll pray and meditate on it. You have our support always. Just… be careful when you go out with her in public."

"Hai. I'm not dumb."

"Good. Bitch."

"Baka." Seiya smiled as Haruka held her hand and smiled.

They arrived at this elite high class restaurant. The host, who looked sharp, greets them at the door.

"Hello, Yurenkasykuya, Kenji? Party of four?"

"Hai."

"Arigatou Gozaimasu. Right this way, Sir."

He followed with his daughters as their mother, looking sharp and elegant in her suit, smiled at them. She eyed Galexia and then at Sagi, giving her a subtle smile.

Kenji walked over to his wife and kissed her hand.

"Hello, Dear."

"Darling…Galexia… oh, Sagi. It's good to see you. How's school?" Her mother assessed her and her body, frowning slightly.

"Okaasan, Konnichiwa Gozaimasu. School is going well. How was your day?"

"Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. I'm glad school is going well. Are you making high marks?"

"She sure is, Ikuko."

"Perfect. Well, let's celebrate. It's been a while since our family has eaten together. With Galexia's wedding, things will be quite busy. Ladies, please have a seat. Kenji, I've already ordered appetizers for us. And some wine for us, except for Sagi of course. She will have tap water."

"Okaasan, maybe they have juice for her?" Galexia suggested to her mother, who looked at her in surprise. Sagi smiled and remained silent. She was fine either way. But she would love it if they had a drink other than water.

"I guess for today it's fine. I don't want her drinking too much sugar though."

"Excellent. Let's get that wine I saw on the menu." Kenji spoke with pride as he looked over the menu. Ikuko smiled at him.

"Is Granga, Ail joining us?"

"Iie. Just us four."

"I see. I'm so happy he's contributing to Galexia's wedding. We have to thank him somehow."

"Indeed."

Sagi paused as she remembered that name. She was about to speak but said nothing and smiled, remembering she was not supposed to leave school whatsoever. Galexia watched her as Sagi looked at her with curiosity. They placed their napkins on their knees. Normally, Galexia never fully gave her much attention. Maybe she missed her? Sagi wanted to catch up with her as it has been a while since they spoke.

Also, she wanted to know about Sarah. But her gut told her now would not be wise to bring it up.

"Galexia, I've ordered the liver with the vegetables for you. We need to keep you healthy once you get married and start to bear children. Sagi, I've ordered a salad.``

"Arigatou Gozaimasu, Okaasan." Sagi whispered.

"Ikuko… let her have something."

"She's gained quite a bit of weight, Kenji. We have to be careful with her figure, especially since she is growing into a young lady. I'm not sure what they feed you at the school, but you must continue to eat healthy."

"At least, some fish on her salad…"

"Oh… very well, Kenji. But only for today. I know what's best for a female figure."

Kenji smiled as he looked at Sagi, who was silent as she looked at the table.

"Well, she is doing exceptionally well in school. Very proud." Kenji spoke as he nodded at her. Ikuko continued to look at the menu, never acknowledging her much.

Sagi smiled as she kept her eyes down, though, her eyes burned a bit, she held it in. Galexia frowned as she looked at her mother, but said nothing. Be it at school, or be it at home, her looks and her weight were continuously measured. She hated it. But she held herself. Mother surely knew best, even if she made cold comments here and there. Her father never spoke of her weight or her looks. Neither did Galexia. For that, she was relieved. She softly breathed to herself and kept her smile.

Galexia grew embarrassed by what her Mother said and didn't look at Sagi for the rest of the meal. She always felt uneasy having her mother compare Sagi to her, as if she herself was a prize above Sagi. It made her extremely uneasy. At least Sagi had an escape being at the school, away from home.

But, she had duties to uphold. She needed to focus. She wouldn't think of such things. And she definitely will not acknowledge seeing her ex-girlfriend earlier in the garden… luckily her father had not noticed her either. She didn't want any wars to start. She had to overcome the horror of earning her parents' respect back since she left school. She promised them she would change, got engaged, and broke it off with Sarah San…

She intends to keep her promise.

The stars and planets were hidden behind the heavy clouds. Only the bright moon shone in the sky.

They finished their meal, without Sagi having dessert. Galexia refused to have dessert as well. Kenji decided to share with Ikuko, paid the tab, drank some more wine, and left the restaurant. They drove in the limo around the neighborhood. Sagi saw the fair as they passed by while Galexia looked at her. Ikuko was in the front, looking at her reflection, while Kenji remained in his cell.

"Let's drop you off, don't want to make you late. Besides, I need to run an errand-"

"Kenji. Please. Let me and Galexia go to the mall. I'm sure her fiance will grab us. It's on the way."

"Very well."

Sagi was relieved as Galexia looked put out, but said nothing. They arrived at the mall as the two women remained while their doors were opened and stepped out of the car."

"We'll be home later. I want to get a few more items for Galexia's gathering."

"Indeed."

Sagi watched her sister's face as she remained silent. It was like Galexia gave off no emotion.

"Sayounara, Okaasan. Oneesan." Sagi bowed as Galexia bowed to her.

"Good work at your school. Continue to study hard." She said, even though her eyes kept on her.

Ikuko nodded and took Galexia by her elbow as they walked off.

Sagi watched them as they entered the mall. It was true, Galexia was getting ready for her wedding. But the more she observed her, the more she thought of Sarah San, and the less her sister seemed excited about it.

If only she could talk to her sister. But it would have to wait.

Sagi looked over at her father, and Kenji remained in his cell, frowning at the text. The limo took off.

"Otousan, will I see all of you again, soon?"

"Iie. It will be a while. Work calls me away."

"Hai, I understand, Otousan."

"Besides. You are at one of the best schools in the country. You need to continue to focus on your studies. Ne?"

"Hai. Sir. I do."

"Good."

Sagi looked outside as she thought of Galexia.

"Otousan… will I be allowed to come to Oneesan's wedding?"

"I believe your Okaasan will have you come. It will be her decision. It might be nice of you to come. But your sister might be extremely busy with her future husband greeting the rest of the guests. Important people will attend and your sister needs to be at her very best.

"Hai. I understand."

They arrived at the school as they stopped at the front gate. Sagi was about to jump out but her father made her wait.

"We'll open the door for you."

"Oh hai. Gomen Nasai."

"Forgot?"

"Hai. I'll remember next time."

"I know you will." Kenji smiled as Sagi waited while the men opened the door for her. She stepped out of the car as her father stepped out as well. Sagi looked at him and bowed as he bowed to her.

"Arigatou Gozaimasu, Otousan. Oyasumenasai Gozaimasu."

"Oyasumenasai, Gozaimasu."

Sagi turned and walked inside. Mistress Hotaru walked outside and noticed him, waving as he waved back at her. She took Sagi inside the school as the gate behind them closed. The security guards walked around as the girls were heading in.

Kenji watched Sagi and started to realize how easy she had it. Unlike Galexia, he had nothing to worry about his youngest one. All she spoke about was her school. Galexia was suffering, he knew, but it was for the best. He did notice that girl she unfortunately used to be with earlier in the garden, looking at his family, most likely at his eldest daughter. He was proud that Galexia ignored her. She finally learned her place and had to forget that disgusting lifestyle. They proudly paid off the other family to keep them apart. It was for the best of the family's name. And he and Ikuko will do everything in their power to keep the sanctity of the family name. They had much to lose.

Not to mention, Granga, Ail, his boss, had assignments for him, and he had no time for tears from anyone. He got back in the limo and called on his cell to his boss as the limo took off.

"Who's the target?" He spoke in a low voice as Granga was heard on the other line.

"I send the address to your text. It will be easy to find him. Make it quick. Leave no traces. Then you can enjoy the rest of the evening with your family. How was dinner?"

"Exceptional. Ikuko and Galexia thank you for your wedding contributions. We look forward to having you be our guest."

"It's my pleasure, Kenji San. You are our best man. You never disappointed my father, Granga Sr, and you never disappointed me as of yet. I always reward our best."

"Arigatou Gozaimasu. I'll have it done within the hour. Does he have anyone that might give us trouble?"

"We took care of the others. He's the only one living."

"I'll confirm once I terminate him."

"Excellent. As always, you and your family will continue to be taken care of. I will throw in an extra bonus for you tonight. Give Ikuko and your daughter my regards."

"I will."

"Arigatou , Kenji San"

"Oyasuminasai, Sir."

They hung up as Kenji remained with his eyes growing cold. On the one hand, he was a loving husband and father. On the other hand, he was a true mobster at heart. Ikuko was the only one aware of his business. She embraced the lifestyle when they married and stood by his side. But neither Galexia nor Sagi nor anyone of their servants in their household knew of his lifestyle, or what he had been doing to keep their family secured.

May they never need to know.

...

Sagi was sitting alone in her dorm room as she noticed Seiya was missing. She might be catching up on homework or stuck at rehearsal with the other girls. She wasn't sure. She got out of her uniform, showered, and remained in her nightgown. She noticed her door open and expected Elsie, only to frown at the unexpected person.

"What did you tell them?" Sarah spoke in anger, though she looked at her with fear.

"Nani?"

"What did you tell your parents? I need to know."

"Oh… I told them everything."

"WHAT?!"

"Hai. I told them how you started up your bullshit with me because of the way Galexia treated you, and how I kicked your ass for it, and they are waiting in line to kick your ass as well."

Sarah turned white as Sagi looked at her complacently.

"Why did you do that?!" She whispered in anger as her voice shook.

"Relax. I'm not dumb. Like you are. I wouldn't put my sister in any kind of trouble, even though I do intend to catch her alone and tell her what you've done. If you have any shit you want to hash out with her, do it to her face. She'll be happy to deal with you, I'm sure, once I tell her."

Sarah breathed as she relaxed, though frowned at her.

"I don't care if she knows. I'm dying to fight her… You could have told them."

"Yeah, well I didn't. I have better things to focus on, like school. So you can fuck off."

"You are such a nasty little bitch, aren't you?" Sarah whispered in a chant as she looked at her in wonder.

"And you are a demented bigger one." Sagi chanted.

"I wonder if Galexia knows you have this side of you."

"I wonder if Galexia knows that you bullied me for some shit she did to you. Of course, I will be telling her."

"Well… que sera sera. Looking forward to fighting her. I hope she knows."

"Sera… fuck off."

Sarah chuckled in disbelief, turned around and left to her dorms. Seiya was walking with the others as they frowned at her and speedily moved to Sagi in their dorm.

"Sagi, is Sarah San bothering you?"

"Nani? Please. She wouldn't dare."

"Okay… you let me know. I will kick her ass."

Sagi looked at Seiya and smiled.

"Arigatou Gozaimasu. She was just curious about Galexia and whatever… happened between them… asking if I said anything to my parents. I didn't. Even though it was so tempting to have my family kick her ass. I stayed quiet. Besides, I've already handled her on my own without their help... I will talk to Galexia when I get her alone though. I don't think it's right I had to pay the price of Sarah's bullshit for something my sister did to her. They need to hash out whatever shit they have between them and keep me out of it."

"Hai. I actually agree with you on that." Seiya said. She was impressed with Sagi as the others sighed in relief and moved into the room.

"Well, we're gonna finish up some homework, wait, Yurenkasykuya San, are we allowed in the room?"

"Allowed…? Douishte…?" Sagi whispered as Seiya smirked. Yaten sighed as the others looked at her.

"Well to study. We don't want to step on your toes… like… last time..."

"Hai. I don't have a problem, Takahashi San." Sagi spoke quietly, wondering why she asked that as they entered cautiously. She wondered why they asked that.

What about last time?

The girls weren't going to mention last time if she didn't. The last time was that Rhett Butler cat that made them on edge. Now that he was gone, Sagi seemed like she forgot somehow about the rules? Anyway, it was best nothing was mentioned. They didn't want to rattle her cage anymore, now that they seemed decent with each other.

"Oh. We need to get this off our chest. Yurenkasykuya San. Gomen Nasai."

"Hai, Gomen Nasai, Yurenkasykuya San. We were wrong."

Sagi stared at Yaten and Michiru, who looked at her as they bowed.

"Is this an ambush?"

"A good one. Promise. Only good ones with you from now on. I don't want to delay apologies. We don't expect forgiveness, but we are truly sorry." Michiru whispered.

"Hai. We intend to take you shopping… or have you kick our ass… whichever you prefer to do first… if you decide to take revenge… on us… one day… out of the blue..." Yaten whispered in apprehension.

Both of them were shaking. Seiya, Taiki, and Haruka remained in suspense. Sagi stared at the two in disbelief.

"You guys are so strange…"

They looked at her, seeing that she was the strange one, but held their tongue.

"Will you accept our apologies, please?"

"Hai, pretty please?"

"Don't do it again. We'll be fine." Sagi whispered as she stared at them. They were so weird!

"Hai. We promise you. We learned our lesson."

"Hai."

Sagi nodded and turned to face the wall to rest. They felt so awkward as Seiya held her smirk inside. Haruka remained in suspense as Taiki covered her mouth.

She was a brick house indeed… more like steel. But at least, she accepted their apologies. No forgiveness, but at least, they were on the right foot.

Sagi thought about her family as Taiki led the study. Even though she was happy to see her family, she felt disconnected from them, more than ever.

Saturday has come. The performers had a final rehearsal and were more than ready. The entire school showed up along with parents of the performers, and those other parents who attended each year.

Sagi sat with her hair in a mermaid's braid and her make up touched up upon her lips. Even though many girls were all about caking their face, she was about being subtle. Her eyes were touched a bit smokey, courtesy of Elsie, and had a touch of shimmery gloss on her lips. She wore a nice bohemian dress with boots that Miyu bought for her. Yaten, Taiki and Michiru were all stunned when they briefly caught her and complimented her. She shyly acknowledged them, thanked them, and walked ahead and Elsie smirked and Miyu smiled with pride behind her, who were also dressed up.

Principal Lady San sat in the front with Mistress Minako San (the drama teacher), while Mistress Hotaru and Mistress Setsuna sat in the balcony area. Other teachers either also attended, or remained at the school to keep an eye on the other house was packed. This was the Rose Winter recital. They began the show, and many astonishing performances were performed.

Sagi watched with wonder as Elsie whispered to a girl next to her, flirting it seemed. She watched Miyu look uncomfortable, but said nothing and smiled at Sagi, who smiled in return. She briefly held Miyu's hand and continued to watch the show. Kou (oops, she meant Seiya San), and Tenouh San were listed as the last duo to act on the program. Last time, they saw her dancing. But this time, they were going to hear her sing. Elsie and Miyu were extremely excited for her, more than her dancing. Sagi was shocked. If they enjoyed her singing more than her dancing, she was in for a treat. Because Seiya was a phenomenal dancer.

Sagi blushed as she felt the butterflies flutter in her stomach. Elsie asked her if she wanted to get Seiya San some flowers. She was too shy to get a bouquet for her, especially when others intended on giving her and Tenouh flowers as well, so she decided to get her something unique.

She was not allowed to leave school, but she remembered seeing a beautiful sapphire blue and onyx stoned bracelet at the spiritual store she went with Shigeru San and Tsubaki San. It made her think of Seiya. She asked Miyu if she could get it for her, gave her the money, which she did, and wrapped it in the small box when it arrived at her dorm in secret, and of course, when Seiya San was not around. She wrote a personalized note with no signature and left it under her pillow.

You continuously tend to surprise me. And you somehow managed to uncover gifts that you share beautifully with the entire world. Continue to do so. I believe in you, I believe in your dreams, and I believe I will support you near and far. I will pray you to get into that Juilliard School…? I think that's what it's called. The school you intend to go to America. That one... You put your heart and soul into what you do, and deserve to win in life. If your passion speaks loud and true, which I've seen that it has, you deserve to win in life. Know you have support around you. Despite our history, I know you have a good heart. Therefore, I will always be rooting for you. As we mentioned in person, you've become extremely important to me. I'm not sure why, still trying to understand how that happened or what it means, but you did become extremely important to me. I'm embracing this… whatever it is that we have with each other… We still have a long way to go, but know that I believe in you and I will always be rooting for you. You have such a beautiful light. Keep it shining bright and strong. I will always be grateful to you, for being my guardian… thank you. Thank you, for everything.

She blushed, wondering if she should hide the note from her. She wrote from her heart when she got the pen and wrote what spoke to her. She was compelled to leave it, but now she wonders, was it too much. Would Seiya think her weird? She might… But Sagi wanted to let her know that she meant something to her. She didn't know what Seiya San meant to her specifically, but she meant something to her. Her intuition wouldn't leave her alone about it. As the show went on, they had a brief intermission. She noticed two pairs of parents go backstage.

"Sagi, are you having a good time?"

"Oh, hai. I am."

"Can't wait for Kou and Tenouh to perform. It's going to be sick!"

"Oh, hai!" Miyu chanted as Elsie linegred around, watching other cute girls. She reeled it back a bit for the parents, but her eyes did wander.

Seiya remained in the dressing room, meditating for her performance. Her eyes were smokey as her lips were ruby red. She had her hair gelled back along Haruka as they dressed in black. Haruka went over the melodies of the piano as Seiya went over the lyrics. They noticed their parents as they squealed.

"Okaasan! Otousan!"

"Okaachan, Otouchan!"

"What are you guys doing here?"

"Going to quickly wish you both luck. We have to leave early for that business trip, so we wanted to wish you, ladies, to break legs!" Kou Sr. spoke as Seiya hugged him tight.

"Oh hai, that's right!"

"And we want to beat traffic, so you are leaving as soon as the show is over." Tenouh Sr. smiled.

"Are you also ready for Julliard? We are leaving Thursday."

"Absolutely." Seiya said with conviction.

"Yes, Sir. We've been practicing like crazy." Haruka chanted.

"Amazing. Proud of you both."

"Hai, we all are." Mother Tenouh smiled as Seiya's mother grinned.

"Okay, break legs, ladies! Seiya, we'll grab you on Thursday for your flight next week. Make sure you are packed and have your passport ready!"

"Hai! Promise! Have a safe trip!"

"Hai. Aishiteru Gozaimasu!"

"Aishiteru Gozaimasu!"

The parents will remain until the end of their performance. Seiya held Haruka's hand and decided to rehearse some more.

It was always great to see their folks. Haruka continued to pick up warm ups as Seiya followed.

She really hoped Sagi would be out there tonight. She said she would, And she was so looking forward to seeing her, and having her hear her sing for the first time. She grinned.

Intermission was over. The theater darkened as the show began once the crowd hushed into silence. The remaining acts passed by with praise. The audience was really enjoying a great show.

Then came the final act.

Sagi took a breath and held it as the empty stage dimmed a bit to two soft spotlights. Two girls walked out in black. One sat at the piano. The other went up to the microphone. It remained dim as the sandy blonde girl began to hauntingly play on the piano, taking their breaths away. As it played, the midnight black haired girl remained silent as the keys played a stunning introduction. Suddenly, the siren opened her lips as the most beautiful sound came out of her lips, causing everyone's heart to stop.

Sagi was frozen, isolated in shock as she heard Seiya sing a seductive melody in her tone. She listened to the beautiful words that floated throughout the theater. The way she carried herself as she sang, that she couldn't believe the gift that her dear close friend had within her. Her dancing skills were impeccable. It was like the presence of the divine entered the theater and placed herself through the two girls. And the music played by Tenouh added a beautiful haunting synchronization to her voice with the way the keys were played.

But her voice was from another world.

Tears rolled out of her eyes as she delicately wiped them away, not believing what she was hearing. Seiya continued to shock her in the most beautiful way. And she loved that she did. She was so grateful that she gotta hear this beautiful person sing with such a powerful, haunting instrument. It was a mixture of alto/soprano with a powerful belt, yet seductive in its low timber. How does a young teenager have a voice like that? When she danced, it was stunning. When she sings, it is haunting. Right there, she knew, Seiya was meant to do what she is doing now.

She had that gift. That divine gift the Goddess gifted her with.

As Seiya sang, she felt connected to her spirit. She didn't know why, but she felt her in her soul, and she felt her deep in her heart, which started to pound hard. It grew erratic, but she didn't care. She just felt the pulse of her voice run through her veins.

Seiya sang softly, like she was singing for someone, but to whom was she singing to? The audience wondered... Her voice was like a lullaby, but she carried power in those soft melodies, especially when she hit those long belting notes. That voice drummed in her entire being, making her completely enraptured. She allowed herself to feel, and felt herself being killed, having an out of the body experience, and resuscitated over and over again.

The melodies were like thunder in the storm as the haunting music continued to play, and that haunting voice continued on to the stars. As those final notes on the keyes drifted out into the darkness, the voice continued on in a soft lullaby.

Sagi was unable to breathe as she saw Seiya sing that final haunting note while two keyes drifted off into silence. The stage went into darkness as the audience was silent. Then a thunderous applause, and eventually a standing ovation broke out.

Elsie and Miyu were screaming along the others, who were whistling and yelling "Brava". Sagi lost her voice as she managed to gain her breath back, slowly got up and started to applaud loudly. She wiped the remaining tears that strolled on her cheeks, and found herself grinning.

Who was Seiya San singing to? She wondered indeed.

… The stage went back up, blinding the audience and performers with bright lights.

UGH!

The performers loved it, but the others were sensitive. Still, it was a freaking brilliant show. And that last act would be talked of forever. When the performers went backstage, the audience followed them outside and swarmed them, especially the two seniors, who were given acknowledgments by their Principal, teachers, parents, and peers. Elsie and Miyu ran to greet them. Sagi wanted to go, but still felt she was a mess. She ran into the bathroom and noticed black streaks on her cheeks, making her gasp. She immediately went to wash her face, unintentionally taking off more of the nice makeup. Time passed She sighed and stepped out, only to run into Miyu.

"Miyu San, makeup is gone-"

"I got you girl. Hang on". Miyu grinned and redid her smokey eyes along her shimmery lips. It looked great just as Elsie has done it. She smiled at Miyu as she winked at her.

"Are they still there?"

"They went to the dorms to quickly drop off the enormous amount of flowers. They will see us at the reception with the others."

Sagi smiled as Miyu held her hand and walked. Elsie met up with them.

"There you are, Little Moon! Seiya Chan was looking all over for you!"

"Oh Gomen Nasai. Is she still there?"

"She'll meet us at the reception."

"Hai. Wow… her voice…"

"I KNOW RIGHT! WE TOLD YOU!"

"HAI! OH! I was blown away."

They linked arms and waited for the crowd to dwindle down before they went inside to grab snacks and drinks.

Seiya was swarmed by her peers at the dorms as she thanked them and swiftly went into her room and shut the door. She laid the flowers on the bed. Haruka went to her own room to greet Michiru, who just finished rehearsal. They all intend to go to the reception.

She was about to leave as she noticed a note sticking out form under her pillow. She frowned a bit as she lifted it up, and noticed a small gift box. She took it in her hand, along the note, and opened it to read it.

It had no signature, but she didn't need to know who it was from. She read the note in silence. She remained still as she continued to read. The moment she finished, she opened the box and saw the bracelet. Stunned by it's unique beauty, she placed her hand through the opening of the wrist, letting it gently snug her skin. She looked at the note and stared at it, re-reading the words, all while pressing the bracelet wrist to her heart. A blush formed on her face as her heart started to pound hard.

She heard footsteps and secretly placed the note inside her pillow. She placed the box on the drawer and saw Haruka come in.

"Wanna rest for a bit?"

"Actually, I'm going to head back there. I'll meet you guys there if you'd like."

"Okay."

"By the way, fucking amazing job. Arigatou Gozaimasu!" They embraced each other hard as they air kissed on their lips. Considering they had lipstick, they didn't want to smear each other. That was Michiru's job.

"Go. We'll catch up."

"Hai. See you guys soon."

"Nice bracelet by the way. Very nice…"

"Oh… hai… see you guys soon." Seiya swiftly left as Haruka smirked.

"Uh-huh."

As she saw her best friend swiftly leave, she went inside the room to see MIchiru smiling at her, putting her makeup on. Yaten dressed up with Taiki.

"So, I say we should go to the reception now." Haruka chanted with mischief in her eyes.

"Oh! Okay. you don't wanna rest."

"Nah. Seiya wants us to go."

"Okay. Let's go then."

"Almost done. There."

"Let's go."

Sagi had a great time with Elsie and Miyu. They avoided the large crowds and remained outside in the gardens. Elsie and Miyu took advantage of sneaking champagne drinks into their cups when the adults were not looking. Sagi drank her cider. They saw Seiya coming to them as Elsie and MIyu ran to her, seeing Haruka and the others behind her.

"Congratulations! OMG YOU KILLED ME! LOVED YOUR PERFORMANCE!"

"Juilliard better accept your ass or we will petition."

"Arigatou Gozaimasu, guys, I'm so glad you came."

Sagi wanted to speak, but was too shy to approach her. Seeing the smokey eyes and the gelled hair Seiya had made her flush continuously red. She found herself hyperventilating and wanted to talk to her in a calm demeanor. Though Seiya spoke to Elsie and Miyu, her eyes kept going to Sagi, who smiled at her and averted her eyes as she looked at Elsie and Miyu's shoes.

Then they ambushed Haruka, thanked them as they allowed them to sip some of their cup.

"Is that champagne?!" Yaten whispered.

"Hai."

"Oh my, give me some." Michiru whispered and sipped as Haruka waited to sip some more.

"I could get us some more, just let me know if you guys want one."

"Hai."

"Me."

"Me."

"Me. Though just a sip."

"I'll drink yours. Seiya Chan?"

"Hai. I'll take one."

Sagi was distracted as she felt a touch on her arm. She looked and noticed Seiya, who took her hand.

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" She whispered to her as she looked at her and took her hand.

"Oh… hai…" Sagi whispered as she blushed. Seiya took her hand and pulled her away from the others.

"Come with me."

"Seiya Chan? Do you want a drink?" Miyu asked.

"Hai. I'll grab it in a moment. We'll be back."

"Oh… okay."

"Grab me one though."

"Okay… beautiful bracelet by the way." Haruka said as she drank. The others giggled like crazy, making the two girls blush.

Seiya ignored her as she and Sagi walked to a private area.

Unnoticed by anyone, they managed to get privacy.

Sagi breathed as she saw the bracelet on her wrist. Seiya looked at her and held her face.

"Did you like the performance?"

"Oh I loved it. Seiya San… you… you shocked me. I could see you will bless the world with your voice. I mean that."

"Arigatou Gozaimasu. Sagi. Right Here... Coming from you.. You are so important to me.."

"Douishimashite Gozaimasu. You are important to me, too."

"Sagi… I got your note. I read it. Several times. You… it meant a lot to me, what you wrote to me, hearing you say that to me. The bracelet is so beautiful. I love it so much... Out of all the gifts, this is the most beautiful gift I've ever received. Next week, I'm taking you out. Just the two of us. I want to take you out."

"Okay…"

"Good... that's good," Seiya whispered as she looked at her lips and soothed her lips with her thumb. Sagi blushed hard as she heard her tender whispers.

"I'm definitely taking you out, Sagi."

"... Hai… okay."

Sagi breathed as Seiya pulled her into a strong embrace and held her in her arms, kissing her eyelids. She softly embraced her and held her. This embrace felt even more intimate. Their connection seemed to have elevated to another level.

"Arigatou Gozaimasu, Sagi. I mean it. You mean so much to me."

"Seiya San... Arigatou Gozaimasu." She whispered and shut her eyes as the girl embraced her tighter in her arms.

...

The girls giggled as they drank some more champagne.
