True Crow Tengus are a group of Birdman that live in Youkai Mountain and other Mountainous areas in Zipangu. However, most of the true crow tengus live in Youkai Mountain compared to the rest of the mountains of the Zipangu Region.
True Crow Tengus are known to get along well with the normal crow tengus. In fact, some of the crow tengus live alongside their true counterparts in Youkai Mountain peacefully. There are other types of tengus besides the true crow tengus there but the true crow tengus are the most well-known tengus present alongside crow and wolf tengus.
The True Kappas and Kappas who live in Youkai Mountain usually get along with the True Crow Tengus and the other variety of tengus. Though those two types of kappas are regarded as below the true crow tengus and are subordinates to them.
The True Crow Tengus and tengus, in general, are ruled by Lord Tenma, the leader of the tengus. Below her are the Great Tengus who are known to command the other tengus to do their bidding with their orders being absolute. True Crow Tengus usually occupy the Great Tengu ranking for they are strong such as Megumu Iizunamaru as the Chief of the crow tengus specifically.
True Crow Tengus are known for their love of gossip and writing newspapers. They are great drinkers, only rivaled by the True, Blue, and Red Onis. They do appear to be territorial of their territory in Youkai Mountain or in the other mountains of Zipangu when it comes to humans and other youkai trespassing within their home. However they do have a desire to get a husband like the other mamanos, so they do try to get one by either interacting with a male human whenever they are not in the newspaper business.
The True Crow Tengus don't mind technology but rather embrace it as seen with tengu factories including printing presses for newspapers and other publications. This is due to the true crow tengus and their leader Lord Tenma agreeing to have the Moriya Shrine stay at Youkai Mountain and coexist peacefully.
True Crow Tengus are very faster both in the sky and ground, possess strength sometimes compared to an oni, and can use forms of magic related to them. As a result, True Crow Tengus are among the strongest racially when it comes to the hierarchy and for good reasons as a result the wolf tengus are regarded as lower than them and as subordinates of sorts.
True Crow Tengus appear as normal humans but wear a white shirt with a skirt along with the tengu geta and tokin associated with them. They also come with twin crow wings that they can hide at will.
Aya Shameimaru and Hatate Himekaidou are two of the more famous True Crow Tengus and they run both Bunbunmaru Newspaper and Kakashi Spirit News respectively. Though Aya is the stronger out of the two and the self-proclaimed fastest out of her kind.
