"Woah, daddy has all these cool things to make things with, or upgrade AuntvFloor orcUncle Teefs's wheelchair, does mommy know about this." Lyllie heard RJ say to her as they'd heen helping Lylla with chores but had found their dad's collection of things and tech.
"Yes I do, and he wants yo upgrade Uncle Teefs chair, but he would use his collection to help me, your auht and uncle when we weregrowing up only he never upgraded himself." Lylla told them making them impressed but were seeing Rocket there embarrassed
"Rocket you okay, were you upgrading Teefs's chaur again and see you added Nebula's present to the collection." she asked him seeing him nodding but was getting what he needed to do that, hoping that the kits wouldn't ask questions about their dad's clllection but was using snacks to distractthem as they were leaving.
"Whoa, you foubd your dad's collection of stuff, did yourmommy let you touch anything." TJ said to them.
"Our daddy was getting stuff to fix yohr dad's chair." Flower told TJ as they were having snacks but RJ was building stuff out of Lego like a giant rollercoaster impressing Rocket, knowing RJ was so like him which delighted the male-kit at his dad's reaction to his Lego project makihg Lylla grin, but saw Floor with a fussy Mimi which was bothering TJ snuggling Little T making Honey relieved
"Would you like some help with ner." she asked Floor seeingher nodding.
The female-otter was singing gently to the female infant-bunny which was calming her, relieving Floor and Teefs as Rocket was workibg on Teefs's wheelchair using histools wearing his goggles that helped him see like glasses, which made the kits curious asking about them.
"They help me see and made them, when I wasn't much older than you." he told them.
"Ohhhh that's cool, just like RJ starting to become an inventor." Quill told him.
Lylla frowned that night in bed making Rocket perplexed thinking he'd done something that had upset her seeing her shake her furry head in reply to him, saying the kits were picky eaters especially RJ making Rocket understand, explaining all little kits including Terran ones went through this and it was annoying but they'd grow out of it, but to entice them into new foods knowing they loved smoothies from the smoothie bar
"Hmmmmm that could beca goid start, thanks Rockie as Indid find recipes online." she told him.
"Remember baby steps, Knowhere wasn't buil in a day." he replied giving her some sugar making her grin giving him some back as they fell asleep hoping none of their kits needed them in the middle of the night only they heard Floor knocking on their door saying TJ had ran away making Lylla and Rocket exchange a worried look asking the kits, if TJ had told them anything.
"She was frustrated by Mimi and her hurting Little T was the last straw." Honey said
"But she's a lil kid, where would she even go." Teefs asked making Floor guess where
"Our parents house, come on." Floor told her husband as they left.
