UA's Saiyan Heroes

"Damn, today's lessons were a pain, and the choreography wasn't a walk in the park for the beginners either." Kaen sighed, toweling off from his shower as he entered his shared room with Mina. "Couldn't you have taken it a bit easier on them today Mina? I mean they've been working pretty hard for the concert all week."

"I know how you feel babe, but the concert we're putting on is coming up, and even with the time frame we have we'd still be cutting it pretty close with not just their lessons, but also the choreography for the concert." Mina said, taking her ring off and putting it on a mannequin hand. "Any luck getting in touch with Panic?"

"He can't make it, but he said he'd send something to help with the concert, and raise the spirits for those attending." Kaen stated, plopping down on the bed, before looking at the door, leading to Eri's room. "Eri already asleep?"

"With Kuro snuggled up like a teddy in her arms, despite she's that she's practically the size of a Great Pyrenees these days." Mina smiled, pulling something out of her bag, and putting it on the dresser against the wall. "That kitten's growing up pretty fast, same for our little ball of sunshine."

"What's that?" Kaen asked.

"It's something Athena made for us. She said the mist inside was a modified version of Midnight's Somnambulist, only instead of causing sleep and drowsiness, it causes whoever breathes it in, to have pleasant dreams. She installed the Quirked leather into this aromatic device, which will make the mist smell like roses and strawberries." Mina explained.

"How… uncharacteristically thoughtful of her." Kaen said, as Mina turned the aromatic device on. "Why put it over there though?"

"I want it to be able to affect Eri as well, so I put it there on its third setting." Mina smiled, coming to bed. "I'm feeling so tired after today."

"You and me both babe." Kaen yawned, as the mist began spreading through the room. "Well, let's get some shuteye." He said, falling onto the bed on his back, not even bothering to climb under the comforters.

"Hopefully, we'll all have a nice dream." Mina yawned, crawling into bed, and cuddling up next to Kaen.

"Hopefully." Kaen said, as the realm of dreams took them.

As the realm of dreams took them, neither of them were aware of the secondary affects Athena had put in the Quirk.

~The Following Day~

"Mmmm." Kaen yawned, stretching out as he woke up. "That was a pretty good nights… rest?"

Kaen looked down at himself, and his eyes widened in shock, before he jumped up on the bed, and looked at himself in the mirror. Instead of a big strapping young man looking back at him, Kaen saw a Chibi version of himself, with his body, minus his hands, and face, covered in red fur with a white tuft on his chest, he had three whisker markings on each of his cheeks, just like Eri's, and his feet were nothing more then animal paws. He had animal ears on top of his head, and his tails were fluffier and those of a canines, looking more akin to fox tails, rather then monkey tails. His hair even went from black with a red streak, to red with a black streak.

"What the hell? I look like a Chibi Furry." Kaen practically shrieked. "I'm as tall as Eri."

Kaen's ears twitched as he heard Mina groan in her sleep, and in a fit of panic, he jumped to the sliding glass door, and slipped out of it, just before the pink haired woman woke up. Running out on the balcony, Kaen jumped in the air to start flying, and managed to make it over the railing, before he began falling.

"The hell? I can't fly anymore?" Kaen questioned, before landing in the branches of the tree next to the dorm building. "What the hell happened to all my Ki control?" He groaned, before the branch he landed on broke, and he fell to the ground. "Ow." The chibi wheezed.

Picking himself up, Kaen grabbed his arm, wincing in pain as it felt bad.

"Seriously? I'm not as invulnerable in this form either?" He questioned. "It's like I'm a kid again."

Kaen felt a breeze go over him, and he looked down, before he blushed when he realized, he was butt naked. He'd been to focused on his new weaker form, that he hadn't realized he was streaking. Thankfully, nothing could be seen, and it looked like his tool, was hidden like an actual animals.

"I need to find out who did this, but first… I need clothes." Kaen groaned. "I didn't wanna go to her like this, but I don't have a choice."

Running around the building to the girls side of the dorm, Kaen looked up and cursed himself for forgetting that her room was on the fourth floor. Using the fire escape, Kaen clambered up the ladder, without the use of his arm, it was near impossible to do. When he finally got to the floor, and the room she was in, Kaen jumped onto her balcony, and knocked on her sliding glass door. When no one came, he continued to knock until someone parted the curtains, and Kaen blushed when he saw Momo, wearing nothing but an All Might Bronze Age themed tank top, and panties as her pajamas. She was obviously enjoying her newfound independence from her parents, as it seemed she found their rather strict rules suffocating, with this freedom of living at the dorms, liberating.

Stepping back, Kaen jumped up and caught Momo's attention, causing her to gasp as she looked down, before she opened the sliding glass door.

"Kaen?" Momo asked.

"It's me Momo, I need your help." Kaen said.

"Okay, well come on in."

"First… could you make me a pair of pants?" Kaen asked, blushing again.

After Momo got over her own embarrassment, and made Kaen a pair of white silky martial arts pants, along with some wraps for his legs, and wristbands for his arms, Momo sat Kaen on her bed, and examined his arm, as the Chibi Saiyan explained to her how he woke up like that, and how he'd gotten injured.

"It might be dislocated." Kaen hissed. "I can put it back, but I'm not as tolerant to pain in this form, as I normally am."

"Well then… bite down on this." Momo said, making a rubber stick, and sticking it between his teeth. "I can reset it as well. On the count of three, ready?"

Kaen nodded and just looked at Momo, feeling a little anxious.

"Alright, one…" Pop!

"Gah." Kaen hissed as Momo popped his shoulder back into place. Spitting out the rubber stick, Kaen just looked to Momo, as she made a brace with her Quirk, to keep his arm in place. "What happened to two and three?"

"Two, three." Momo smiled with a slight laugh.

"Glad to see someone's enjoying this." Kaen sighed.

"I'm sorry Kaen, but it's easier to do, when the patient is least expecting it." Momo said.

"I believe my mom said something like that." Kaen stated.

"So, does Mina know about this?"

"No, I panicked and jumped out the sliding glass door before she could see me." Kaen said.

"Well, maybe we should tell her. It would be for the best if you told her and…"

"Momo." Mina's voice came through the door as she knocked. "I know Kaen's in there, I can feel his Ki. Open up, something happened to Eri last night."

Momo and Kaen looked to one another, before the black haired girl jumped to her feet, and ran to the door, opening it to find Mina standing there, with Eri and Kuro at her side.

"What's wrong?" Momo asked.

"Take a look." Mina said, as she turned Eri around, showing the child had sprouted a second tail, and the white fur was now blue.

"That's… not the weirdest thing I've seen all day." Momo said.

"Where's Kaen?" Mina asked.

"I'm right here."

Mina walked into Momo's room, and gasped when she saw Kaen, sitting on Momo's bed, with the brace.

"Kaen?" Mina questioned.

"Yep, it's me babe." Kaen said.

"Oh, okay." Mina said.

Mina just looked at Kaen, before her eyes rolled back. As she began to fall, Momo reacted quickly enough, to be able to grab Eri from her, and hold the child in her arms.

"Well… That just happened." Momo said, putting Eri on the bed, while Kuro was licking her cheek to wake her up.

"Papa?" Eri asked.

"Yeah, it's me Kitten." Kaen stated.

"You're so cute and fluffy." Eri said, hugging him.

"Ow-ow-ow, careful Eri. My arm's hurt." Kaen hissed.

"Sorry." Eri said, loosening the hug.

"Oh boy, what happened?" Mina questioned, after Momo woke her up with smelling salts.

"You fainted, when you saw what had happened to Kaen." Momo recapped.

"Oh right." Mina said, before she looked at Kaen. "How did this happen?"

"I don't know?"

"How'd you get hurt so easily?"

"Again, I don't know. I can't use Ki, I can't fly, and I'm not as invulnerable or strong as I was." Kaen said. "All I know is, I woke up like this, and I don't know how it happened. I can't even use my Quirk. I tried to use it when I was climbing the fire escape to get here, but nothing happened."

"We gotta fix this now." Mina sighed.

"An' we gotta figure out what's happened to Eri to." Momo added. "Because growing an extra tail, and the white fur turning blue, is not something that should have happened."

"Right, so I'll take Eri to get some breakfast. I'll also call Mr. Yagi, and let him know what's going on. While I'm doing that, you take Kaen to Athena's lab. It's not a school day, so she's gonna be there earlier then usual." Mina said, picking Eri up, and separating the hug.

"But I don't wanna leave without Papa." Eri said, going for a grabbing motion to Kaen.

"We gotta sweetie. Don't worry, you'll see him again when we go visit Aunty Athena." Mina said. "Grab something to eat on the go, and try to keep him hidden."

"Got it." Momo said.

After Mina and Eri were gone, Momo turned to her bathroom, and began taking her shirt off as she walked to it.

"Momo, what are you doing? I'm still here." Kaen said.

"Oh, what's the big deal?" Momo smiled, tossing her shirt aside, before turning around and showing her bare chest to him, as well as the necklace with the promise ring hanging from her neck. "I am part of your harem after all. You should get used to seeing me topless. Besides, I gotta make a backpack big enough to hide you in, and that's my favorite tank top and I don't wanna ruin it."

"Fair enough." Kaen sighed, before Momo picked him up. "What are you doing?"

"I'm gonna do something I wanted to do since I first saw you like this." Momo smiled, before she pulled Kaen in, and smothered him into her chest. "Oh, you're so fluffy."

"Momo, my arm?" Kaen hissed with his voice muffled.

"Right, sorry." Momo said.

~Athena's Lab~

"Athena isn't here right now." Ruby said, looking at Kaen as he sat on the table with Mei and Jenny circling around the two of them. "She left to get some parts for her secret project."

"It's so secret she won't even let any of us in on it." Jenny said.

"Not surprising. Athena's always been secretive about her personal projects." Kaen said. "But she might know what's going on with me."

"It could be a side effect the Wukong Gem is having on you, as it's fighting with your Quirk Genes." Toshinori suggested. "I mean, Sun Wukong was able to shape shift. I know he was a Saiyan, but still that's impressive for him to do."

"Problem with that theory dad, is if it involves the Wukong Gem, then it'd have shown itself already." Kaen stated. "Anytime the gem is active, it's already protruding from my chest."

"I'll give David a call, see what he can make of this." Toshinori sighed, realizing Kaen was right.

"Probably won't be much, since he can't examine Kaen directly." Momo stated.

"Is Papa gonna be like this forever?" Eri asked, sitting on Kuro's back.

"I don't know sweetie." Mina said.

"An' now onto you." Ruby said. "The white of her fur turned blue, and she grew an extra tail, sort of like a Nekomata."

"But Eri's not a mythological cat." Momo said.

"True, but she did go through some severe… torment, when Chisaki had her. It's possible the trauma from that caused her Quirk to mutate, and the results are finally just starting to show themselves." Ruby said.

"Quirks have been known to mutate and evolve in situations involving extreme pressure and anxiety." Kaen stated.

"Plus, she was part of a Chimera with Kuro for a while. That could be part of it as well." Mei added.

"You read the report, didn't you?" Momo asked.

"I might have overheard Athena muttering about it after Eri was rescued." Mei said.

"Well, whatever the case I'm sure we'll be able to figure this out, before the cultural festival." Kaen said. "Until then… I'm gonna have to face the music."

~Class-1A Dorms~

"Ahahahahahaha." Katsumi burst out laughing, as Kaen stood on the sectional's footrest, in front of everyone.

"Yeah, laugh it up Katsumi." Kaen sighed.

"So, does this officially make you the class mascot now?" Yang asked.

"No it does not." Kaen said. "I don't even know what animal I turned into."

"You're a Firefox." Hagakure said.

"Like a red panda?" Uraraka asked.

"No, as in an actual fox." Hagakure stated, her phone seemingly floating in midair, as she searched up images of a Firefox. "It's not just a computer software. Firefoxes are one of the rarest species of fox in the world, and they're known by the name Firefox because of how their red fur resembles brilliant flames."

"An' you know this, how?" Ojiro asked.

"I love animals, especially cute little baby ones, plus I had planned on being a veterinarian if I ended up not getting into the Hero Course." Hagakure said.

"Well it's good you had a backup plan at least." Shoji said, smiling under his mask.

"So, aside from your appearance, what else has changed about you?" Uraraka inquired.

"I can't use Ki, or my Quirk." Kaen said. "I have no clue, what I'm able to do now."

"This could be the result of an accidental Quirk activation, but then again there isn't really anything that indicates this as an accident." Izumi said.

"Uncle David said that there isn't much he can do without seeing this first hand." Kaen said. "Plus there's what happened to Eri."

"Right, can't forget whatever did this to you, might have affected her as well." Kirishima said.

"What about Mr. Aizawa?" Yang asked. "Couldn't we see if this is a Quirk?"

"It's his first day off in months, I'm not gonna bother him with this." Kaen stated. "Plus, he'd have to be looking at the one who did this, to get the affects to wear off."

"True."

"Well, as fun as this has been. I do have things to do in the city today." Kaen said, hopping down from the footrest. "If anyone needs me, I'll be out and about running some errands. I'll be back in time for my duet rehearsal with Mina."

"Like that?" Todoroki asked. "Are you sure it's a good idea?"

"I'll be fine. Don't worry." Kaen sighed. "Besides, I'm still the Kaioh Emperor, and I didn't earn that title by using Ki, or my Quirk."

"Just be sure to keep your cell phone on you, at all times in case you need to contact any of us." Mina said. "I'll be giving Eri the tour of the campus during the festival set up if you need anything."

"I'll be okay babe. You know how resilient and stubborn I can be." Kaen chuckled.

"That's exactly what worries me." Mina sighed. "Just be careful, you can't use your left arm still, and we don't know when or if the effects of this transformation will wear off."

"Right." Kaen said, heading for the door.

"An' try not to draw too much attention to yourself." Momo added.

~Out in the City~

"Alright, let's see here." Kaen said, scrolling through his phone. "Alright, first stop is the shopping center. Gotta pick up some supplies for the special effects team and…"

"Somebody stop him, thief."

Kaen looked up to the sound of that voice, and spotted a woman pointing to a man who was running away with what looked like her purse.

"Great." Kaen groaned. "Let's see what this form will allow me to do."

Taking a running start, Kaen took off sprinting after the thief. But he wasn't as fast as he used to be, and he slowly began losing sight of him.

"C'mon, I know I can do this. I can't be this pathetic." Kaen growled, as he pushed himself harder. Unfortunately he was unable to catch the thief, and fell behind. "Damn it." He cursed, as he stopped, and was panting heavily.

"What's got you so bummed out little man?"

Kaen looked up as a shadow overcame him, and he saw Mirko, holding the thief, while tossing the purse back to the woman.

"Mirko?" Kaen asked.

"The one and only." She smiled. "Want an autograph kid?"

"No, Mirko it's me, Kaen, All Might's son."

Mirko just looked at Kaen, her eyes blank circles before it finally clicked.

"EH?"

After calming herself down, Mirko handed the thief over to the authorities, and sat down with Kaen to listen to his explanation, over a couple of sodas.

"I see, so you're not sure how you ended up like this, huh?" Mirko asked.

"An' it's pissing me the hell off." Kaen cursed. "I used to be so strong, but now with feeling so weak…"

"Hey, I get it." Mirko said. "I get that you're still trying to be the hero you wanna be, but you gotta learn to take it easy. You're not the same guy you were yesterday. Literally."

"I know, but I'm just so used to being able to help people, I don't know what to do." Kaen said.

"Well, you might be small, but your still strong."

"I dislocated my shoulder this morning when I fell off my balcony." Kaen stated.

"That's what normally happens, well that and breaking your arm. What I'm getting at, is you have a chance to see how humans normally are. Live today as one of us, and you'll see what I mean."

"I lived as a human, for the first six years of my life, before I knew the truth about myself." Kaen stated. "I just thought it was all part of my Quirk after I awakened my powers, but that wasn't the least bit true."

"C'mon." Mirko said, grabbing Kaen by his other arm.

"What are you doing?"

"I run my agency how I see fit, and I'm getting you out of this funk of yours." Mirko said. "We're going for a day of fun."

"But I have so much I gotta do for the cultural festival." Kaen said.

"We can take care of all that later." Mirko said.

"But…"

"No buts." Mirko said. "Just fun."

"Okay, but I gotta be back at U.A before rehearsals can start." Kaen said.

~That Afternoon~

"I'm back." Kaen called out, as he came into the dorm with Mirko following him, and pulling in a cart full of supplies. "An' I brought a guest."

"Ah, Kaen it's good you got back when you did." Toshinori said, before spotting Mirko. "Rumi, it's so nice to see you as well."

"Just thought I'd pop by and pay a visit, since I was helping this little guy haul in his supplies." Mirko said.

"So… what's so good about my timing?" Kaen asked.

"We found out who the culprit was that turned you, into that." Toshinori said, before directing his attention to Athena, who was sitting on the couch, all flustered and grumpy, with Aizawa and several teachers, and students, surrounding the couch.

"Athena?" Kaen asked. "I don't understand."

"After you left, I remembered something Athena had told me about, getting back at you for something you did when you visited her lab about a week ago." Kirishima said. "I caught her working on some sort of aromatic device, saying she was gonna use it to execute her plan. When I mentioned this to Mina, she brought it down, and when we confronted her about it with your dad and Mr. Aizawa after she got back, she was guilty the moment she saw it."

"How do you know?" Mirko asked.

"Because she's a terrible liar and can't come up with a single false story to save her life." Kaen sighed.

"She started sweating bullets the moment we asked her if she knew anything about your current form." Toshinori stated. "That and she was trying really hard to change the subject."

"She finally cracked, when we said it affected Eri to. Apparently more then just her trauma was treated when Eri and Kuro were inside… Mina's body for those two weeks." Kirishima blushed.

"The instant we brought it up, she started muttering on like Midoriya, about how it was only supposed to affect you and not her." Aizawa stated.

"They were what?" Mirko asked, wanting to know more about what Kirishima just said.

"Long story, don't ask." Kaen said. "So it wasn't supposed to affect Eri at all?"

"No." Athena sighed. "It was only designed to affect you. But apparently, Eri is now related to both you, and Mina. Meaning she's your biological child."

"Which also makes her a Saiyan." Toshinori said.

"I was already a Saiyan." Eri said. "I ate the special candy Aunty Athena left for me that made me a Saiyan."

"Which explains why her DNA changed to being related to you and Mina. I hadn't factored in that she might have actually eaten the candy I gave her." Athena said.

"So how do we fix this?" Kaen asked.

"I'm not telling." Athena said. "It's what you get for teasing me about going on a date with Kirishima."

"Athena Theresa Yagi." Toshinori began. "Your brother, dislocated his shoulder when he panicked about suddenly being in this form."

"Pulling pranks is fine and all, normal teenager stuff. But the line is drawn when someone gets hurt." Aizawa stated. "You need to tell us how to change him back now."

"Fine, I guess I went a little overboard with making him as vulnerable as a human." Athena said.

"Actually, he's a bit sturdier then us." Mirko said. "Falling from a balcony on the fifth floor of a building like this, would have broken his arm, if not killed him."

"He what?" Athena asked.

"Fix. This." Toshinori stated.

"Alright, alright." Athena sighed. "What I've done to him, can't be removed from his system. It's a part of him forever."

"So I'm stuck like this?" Kaen asked.

"Not exactly." Athena stated. "You can return to your normal form, no problem. You just gotta calm down, and relax your mind."

"I can do that no problem." Kaen said. "But what makes this permanent?"

"Any time you get over flustered, or extremely embarrassed, your gonna revert to this, your new Kitsune form." Athena said. "Hopefully you'll be able to unlock the abilities I instilled into it when I made that reprogrammed Somnambulist, I wasn't stupid enough to leave you in that form completely defenseless. You'll even grow six more tails the stronger you get, but only in that form. In your normal form, you'll still only have the three."

"Maybe with enough training I'll be able to." Kaen said. "But until I get a handle on those abilities, I should avoid using this form."

"One question though, why a Kitsune?" Kirishima asked.

"I thought I'd use a mythological creature for Kaen's chibi form." Mina said. "There may be some side effects though."

"Side effects like what?" Aizawa asked.

"The whisker markings won't be going away anytime soon, if at all." Athena said.

"Well way to be petty about some brotherly teasing Athena." Kaen sighed. "I'm going to my room, and I'm not coming out, until I've managed to revert back to my normal form."

~The Following Day~

"Sorry Izumi, but you're off the dance team." Mina said in a serious tone, comically wearing a black suit with sunglasses.

"What?" Izumi questioned, going pale.

"What do you mean she's off the dance team?" Kaen asked, sitting on his desk, still in his Chibi form.

"Well, the special effects team thought the addition of a disco ball would be pretty cool, so they need someone strong to pull the disco ball along the catwalk in the rafters mid performance." Mina said, before looking back to Izumi. "So you're not entirely out of the performance, just the second half of the dance routine, as installing a mechanized device to pull it out, would be something the school won't permit."

"I guess that makes sense." Izumi said. "But where are we gonna get a Disco Ball?"

"Athena's putting one together, she's hoping it'll get her back in my good graces after the little stunt she pulled with Kaen and Eri's sudden changes." Kirishima said.

"She's in the dog house?" Kaminari asked.

"What do you think? Our best chance at fighting off Cooler is a Chibi Furry." Kirishima stated. "Not that there's anything wrong with being a furry, I'm just saying he can't defend the world from Cooler like this."

"Still haven't been able to figure out how to return to normal?" Momo asked, looking at Kaen.

"Nope." Kaen sighed. "It's maddening. I can't figure out what could trigger my transformation back into my normal self. I can't fight anyone like this."

"Remember babe, Athena did say she didn't leave you totally defenseless. So you just gotta learn what you can do in this form." Mina said.

"She actually gave me a list of what your abilities should be." Kirishima said. "I left it back at the dorms, but I should be able to grab it at lunch."

"But right now, we face a bit of a different problem." Jiro said. "A lot of the other students have taken notice of Kaen's new form, and they're attempting to take advantage of it. An' not in a good way."

"I've already had to shield him from several bricks, stones, rotten tomatoes, and other unsightly liquids that I don't even wanna think about what they really were." Kirishima stated.

"That would explain why you stink. Go shower, we'll tell Mr. Aizawa about why you're gonna be late." Mina said. "An' be sure to change into a clean uniform to."

"Might have to wear my gym uniform then. This is my spare, and the other one has to be cleaned as well." Kirishima sighed.

"We'll be sure to let Mr. Aizawa know." Momo stated.

"Thanks for shielding me man." Kaen said. "I owe you big time for this, I swear lunch is on me today."

"But back to you Izumi. I know this is gonna be a waste of the time you put in with practicing your dancing, but we could really use your Quirk to be able to pull this off." Mina said, pleading with Midoriya.

"Mina, Eri's been looking forward to seeing Izumi dancing up on stage. Wouldn't there be some way to work around it?" Kaen asked.

"Well… I guess we could bring the disco ball in, during the middle of the main groups song." Todoroki said. "That way, she wouldn't have lied to Eri, even if by accident."

"That could work." Koda agreed.

"Alright then, I'll do it." Izumi agreed.

"Great, we really appreciate you doing this Midoriya." Sero said.

"So, what's Class-B's festival activity?" Kaen asked.

"They're putting on some play called, Romeo and Juliet, in the Prisoner of Azkaban, Return of the King." Mina said.

"Let me guess, Monoma suggested it, and says the plays an original?" Kaen inquired.

"Yep."

"Sounds more like a fusion of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Harry Potter book three, and the third book in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy." Kaen sighed. "How is Monoma still in that class by the way?"

"Apparently all ruling on taking him out of that class, including the petition those in Class-B put together, was nullified when it was revealed you're a Saiyan." Yang said. "So they still have 19 students."

"The reminds me. Mineta confronted me and said he'd been transferred to General Studies. What's that about?" Kaen asked.

"That had nothing to do with you." Jiro said. "He was transferred from Class-B to General Studies, when he was caught spying on the girls of our classes, when hiding in one of the lockers. It was actually his Class Rep who caught him."

"Good thing to. If I had caught the little pervert peeping on us, I'd have destroyed him. Literally." Mina said.

"Well, I think that's enough chatter for now. Classes are about to start." Kaen said, acting on his duties. "I might be small, but I'm still the Class Rep. Now everyone to their seats."

~Following Morning~

"Delaware: SMASH!" Izumi cried out, dressed in her PE uniform while Toshinori and Kaen watched her release a burst of air pressure which rattled the trees. Currently, Kaen was sitting on a boulder, using his fluffy tails like a chair, and drinking some water, taking a break from training.

"She's getting better at rapid release of her pressurized air attacks." Kaen said. "I still find it funny how she managed to figure out your trick before you could reveal it."

"Yeah, yeah. Keep laughing fluffy, at least she's not stuck looking like a cereal mascot." Toshinori countered, before looking to Izumi. "Seems it's still hard for you to shoot consecutively, or while moving around huh Young Midoriya?"

"Yeah." Izumi hissed, the middle finger of her right hand looking bruised a bit.

"Don't worry about breaking your body. Mina gave me plenty of Senzu Beans if it ever happens." Kaen said, holding up what looked like a garbage can sized wooden barrel. It looked rather cartoonish with him holding it up.

"Here, you can ice your finger with this." Toshinori said, holding up a small ice pack.

"Thanks." Izumi said, accepting the fever pack. "I'm trying to exercise so much more control then I've had to in the past. Is there a trick to it, or something that I might be missing?"

"No idea." Toshinori said, leaving Izumi rather disappointed. "To be honest, I was pretty much able to use 100% of One-for-All, right away."

"I think I can handle this one." Kaen stated. "Izumi, you know how using different Ki techniques, require different levels of Ki control and manipulation for me, right?"

"Oh, right. I think you mentioned that before." Izumi said.

"Well, considering how the power of One-for-All, and Ki Manipulation techniques are nearly identical to one another, I think this could help with your control problem as well." Kaen continued. "Think of controlling the flow of power from One-for-All, as sort of like a speedometer on a car. There are certain speeds in which you have to suddenly change to, without any forewarning, yet it's still possible for people to do."

"Oh I get it." Izumi said. "I just need to think of using Delaware Smash, like I'm shifting into a gear that will make me go faster."

"Now you get it." Kaen smiled. "Give it a try, and do so while on the move."

Izumi nodded with confidence, before she stood firm, and coursed One-for-All, throughout her entire body.

"Start off with doing some parkour, then once you feel you've got a steady rhythm, release the air force at 20%, from your fingers, by increasing the strength in your hands." Kaen instructed.

Izumi lowered herself to the ground, before she ran for the treeline, and began ricocheting off the trunks. After about a minutes of this, Izumi aimed for the tree line in front of her, and released a powerful wave of air force, from multiple fingers, causing the trees to blow in the wind.

"Nice Izumi. Keep practicing, and you'll get the hang of it like it's second nature in no time." Kaen smiled.

"You sure Nezu hired the right teacher?" Toshinori asked, looking at Kaen. "Because I didn't even think of visualizing it that way."

"I'm not really that good of a teacher. I just told her some of the methods I used when I was just starting to learn Ki control." Kaen said. "Besides, we've still got to figure out a way for her to actually harness this wind pressure move, to make it that much more effective."

Toshinori smiled, seeing how his son was acting, despite being in the situation he was in, until something caught his eye, and he instantly raised his hand to catch something that came flying out of the tree lines, and nearly hit Kaen in the back of the head. The projectile looked like a metallic baseball with wings.

"That was a close one." Toshinori said.

"You sure you're out of the hero business?" Kaen asked. "Because you've still got it."

"Woopsie, but nice catch." Mei said, coming out of the treeline.

"Hatsume, what are you doing out here?" Kaen asked.

"Kaen." Izumi hissed, pulling him aside. "Isn't it bad for her to see us with All Might like this?"

"Not really." Kaen said, as Mei was describing her invention to Toshinori. "I mean he's my dad, you're a childhood friend, so he's just out here supervising our training at my request."

"Oh, that makes sense." Izumi said.

"Plus, she's not all that interested in either of us at the moment, in the slightest." Kaen stated.

"Oh yeah, Midoriya." Mei said, getting in Izumi's face. "About that new item you asked me about the other day."

"A new item?" Kaen asked.

"I had a baby that could do something similar, so I'm repurposing it right now." Mei continued. "Once the application goes through, I get it to you right away."

"Hold on, I thought you needed to wait until after the school festival to do that?" Izumi asked.

"Please, every artist tinkers when they're on a break." Mei said. "An' since I've got a base already, it'll be done soon."

"Oh wow, thanks you're the greatest." Izumi said, before Mei's device flew off.

"Huh, where you going baby?" Mei questioned, chasing after it. "Wait for Mama."

"A new item huh?" Toshinori asked, as Mei was out of range to hear them.

"Yep, there's something I think could help harness this wind pressure move." Izumi said.

"We were actually just talking about that. But it seems like you've got it all figured out on your own." Kaen chuckled. "Hey dad, didn't you try something like that in the past as well?"

"I did." Toshinori smiled.

"All Might, you used a Support Item?" Izumi asked. "How did I not know that?"

"Simple. He used it once, but the dang thing was too clunky, and hindered his movement quite a bit. So he stashed it away in the same shed our spacecraft is stored in." Kaen stated. "I remember playing with it when I was a kid."

"Which is something you were not supposed to be doing." Toshinori scolded. "But yeah. Specifically, it was too bulky to be functional, even though it was designed to be used with only 20-30% of my full power. It would have been fine if I had used mid to long ranged attacks for the most part, but since I was more of a short ranged brawler, I kept breaking it, and as Kaen said that made it more of a hindrance then anything else. I did wear it more then once, but once was the only time Kaen saw me wearing it. Last time I had it repaired, I hung it in a display case in my tinkering shed, and have kept it in good condition. So I got rid of the tech, and carried on with nothing but my own strapping body."

"Given all that said, reinforcing your power with new gear could be a smart move. Just make sure it's not something that'll hinder your movements, or reflexes." Kaen stated.

"An' make sure you don't rely on it too much. That could be a fatal flaw in battle." Toshinori finished. "Some people aren't able to hold their own, after losing an item. I've seen way too many heroes fall into that trap."

"Right." Izumi said firmly.

"Now then, let's get back to that visualization."

"Aw, this feels just like old times." Izumi smiled.

~Dorms that Night~

"You're rushing bastard. Follow my tempo." Katsumi tsked, scolding Kaminari.

"But you keep throwing in new break downs, it's so confusing." Kaminari stated.

"Jiro." Momo said, getting the musician girls attention while pouring cups of tea. "It's almost like you were born to teach. For a beginner like Kaminari to learn cord progressions in just a week, is simply amazing."

"It's okay I guess." Jiro said. "Anyway, todays tea smells really good."

"I'm glad you noticed." Momo smiled, holding up the can of tea leaves. "Mother sent me this rare type that can be almost impossible to find. It's a tea called Gold Tips Imperial."

"It's only a rarity in Japan." Kaen said, getting their attention. "But in countries like the U.A, you can buy this stuff in bulk for as little as 5,000 Yen."

"You're kidding." Momo gasped.

"Nope. I brought home a whole pallet of the stuff from my trip to the US this past summer. I sold some to this tea shop owner who owns a cozy little hole in the wall cafe, by the market down the mountain." Kaen said.

"You sold them to him?" Jiro asked.

"Well, I did offer to just give them to him, but he insisted he pay me for them. An' when someone as old as him starts bowing on their hands and knees, it's nearly impossible to say no." Kaen sighed. "So I charged him 200 Yen a tin. He nearly bought my whole stock of Gold Tips. Now his business is doing better then ever, and his daughter is planning on taking over the cafe when he retires."

"Well that's so nice, keeping the family business running." Momo smiled. "Everyone is welcome to enjoy a cup if you'd like."

"No idea what that is, but thanks." Toru said.

"No idea what that is, but is sounds fancy." Yang added.

"Oh boy." Kaen said, spotting Izumi, before hopping down from the counter with two cups of tea. "Here we go again."

"All Might had an item, All Might had an item, I'm such a failure for not knowing about it." Izumi muttered.

"Hey Deku, aren't you gonna try some of Momo's yummy tea?" Uraraka asked, before she gasped in shock, at the sight of Izumi obsessing over something.

"Don't bother Uraraka." Kaen said, as he put a cup of tea down in front of her. "Once Izumi finds out something new about All Might, she obsesses over it until she finds proof."

"What'd she find out that's got her like this?" Mina asked, pulling him in like he was a stuffed animal, with Eri joining in on the hug.

"My dad used to have a Support Item, and she just found that out this morning. So she's been scrolling through her phone to find proof of it." Kaen said, before pulling out his phone. "While she's been doing that I've been trying to get in contact with Melissa, but haven't had any luck."

"Why were you trying to get in contact with her?" Uraraka asked.

"If I remember correctly, she developed a Support Item, Izumi used during her fight against Coolers elite on I-Island. It was destroyed in the fight, so Izumi's been out of luck on those." Kaen stated. "If I can get the blueprints for them, then Athena might be able to make them, and maybe make a better, improved version made of Darmanium."

"Oops, I didn't mean to play that video." Izumi said.

"Gentle Video." The announcer voice in the video said. "Dearest viewers, do you drink different types of tea, for different occasions?"

"I know that voice." Kaen said, hopping over to sit next to Izumi and watch the video.

"This particular fine blend, is called Royal Flush." The man in the video said. "Whatever could that imply I wonder?"

"That your discriminating taste sets you apart from the rest of the world?" A girls voice came from the background, before the mans face was in full view of the camera.

"Be sure to stay tuned. My next video is an alarm, not just to my faithful viewers, but to all of society. Try to contain your anticipation until then." He stated before the video ended.

"That was short." Uraraka said.

"I knew it." Kaen said. "It is him. Gentle Criminal."

"Gentle who?" Mina asked.

"He's a villain, more accurately he's a washed up hero course student from a lesser known school. His background is spotty, but he's also persistent in posting videos about his exploits." Kaen said. "I kept hearing rumors about him around the precinct whenever I was helping out there. I don't know his real name, but I do know his Quirk has something to do with elasticity. Not much else is known."

"Anything else you know about him?" Mina inquired.

"Other then the fact he was involved in an accident that got a hero seriously hurt some years back? No." Kaen said. "The only thing commonly known about him, is his partner La Brava. From the tone in her voice whenever she speaks in these videos, she seems head over heels for him. An' his feelings are probably the same for her. He hasn't really done anything to warrant anything abusive in their relationship."

"What makes you say that?"

"Each of his exploits, have been about exposing corruption within big business companies, like the corner store franchises knowingly selling expired products, or exposing corrupt and degenerate heroes as frauds." Kaen said. "In a sense, he's a downgraded version of Stain, minus the murdering and killing. His antics in general have been harmless, with very few people getting hurt. I think he's just making these videos, because it's his passion, and he wants to leave behind a legacy that he can be proud of."

"It's kinda nuts that he's been putting up videos for years now, but hasn't been caught yet." Izumi added. "I wonder what he's planning next."

"I have a few ideas, but none of them are pleasant." Kaen stated.

"KAEN." Athena's voice echoed through the dorms.

"Calm down sis, Eri's about to fall asleep." Kaen said, poking his head up and looking at her before he winced. "Yikes, when's the last time you got some sleep?"

"Three nights ago, why?" Athena asked. "Nevermind. Listen, I have some big news. One, I think I figured out a way for you to retain your normal form during your performance with Mina at the school festival."

"Did you finish the Disco Ball?" Kirishima asked, before he caught the diamond like dance orb. "Okay."

"How can I retain my normal form during my duet performance with Mina?" Kaen asked.

"Well… I have the Darmanium formula for both the metal, and the metal based fabric." Athena said. "I can use a Quirk on something for you to wear to revert you back to that form, temporarily. Just long enough for you to retain your normal Saiyan form during the performance. It's a long shot, but I've done some tests and normal fabric doesn't seem to work. It just means that the Darmanium Fabric is the key to making it last, before it burns away in smokeless flames."

"Like that magic paper stage magicians use for their fire card tricks?" Kaen asked.

"You get the gist as least." Athena said. "I won't make your dance clothes out of it, but I can make you something to wear under it that'll turn you back to normal until they burn out, and you revert back to your chibi form."

"How long would they last for?" Mina inquired.

"Depending on how much power he uses when wearing them, 12hours, give or take." Athena stated. "An' another thing. I compared the Darmanium fabric to moms old Frieza Force armor, and the formula for the materials are nearly identical, with the only difference being the tensile strength of the Darmanium armor is greater then the Frieza Force armor."

"That means, this metal can stretch and form just like the Frieza Force armor, but it's stronger and longer lasting." Kaen said.

"Exactly. So if you're ever needing to go Great Ape, then your suit will grow with you." Athena smiled.

"Nice work Athena." Kaen said. "When can you get a suit ready for me to wear?"

"If I get a good nights sleep, I can have one ready for you before your next concert rehearsal at the earliest." Athena stated.

"Then what are you waiting for? Go get some shut eye." Mina said.

"Way ahead of you." Athena chuckled, before she fell back, landing with a thud on the floor.

Kaen and the others seemed slightly worried about her, before they heard her snoring slightly.

"She must have used the last of her energy to come here and tell us the news." Kaen sighed. "Mina?"

"I'm calling Ruby now." Mina said, pulling out her cellphone.

"Alright everyone, we've got a game plan all set for tomorrow when rehearsals start. So once Athena's gone, let's all get a good nights sleep, and be ready for tomorrow." Kaen said.

"Yeah." The others cheered.

~A/N~

Idea for Kaen's chibi form came from Abridged Goku's, Wolfku.
