"What is going on?" Harvey asks.

"Harvey... It's Jim." Rachel says.

"What happened?"

"He passed away." Rachel says, almost in tears.

"Shit! How? What happened?"

"A heart attack, working. They tried to call Donna, but she's in a meeting, and you didn't answer the phone either. I want to go get her."

"No, Rachel. I'm going to tell her."

"Harvey, I'm going to go with you..."

"Rachel, I know how much you love her but... Donna was the one who told me when my parents passed away and the fact she was who told me, it made it a little less heartbreaking. This is going to break her, I want to be the one who says it, I owe it to her. Maybe I'm being selfish, but I want to be the one to give her a hug."

"It's not selfish Harvey, you're right. I'd rather it was Mike who told me, too. Go get her. I'll take care of her meeting."

"Thanks Rachel."

Harvey approaches the office where Donna is and beckons her out. "Come, Donna."

"Now?" She says with her lips, without a sound. Harvey nods. "Excuse me... Someone needs me." Donna says and leaves the office.

"What happened, Harvey? I can't leave this meeting."

"Come with me, please..." He takes her hand and starts walking.

"Harvey!"

"It's important, I have to tell you something and I can't do it here." Harvey hugs her by her shoulders and keeps walking.

"The meeting."

"Don't think about it, Rachel takes care of it."

"Harvey, what's wrong? You're scaring me!"

Harvey makes them enter one of the bathrooms, making sure it is empty and locks the door.

"Harvey... Something bad happened, I know you. Please, talk!" She begs nervously.

Harvey takes her hands and looks at her, looking for the words.

"It is your dad..."

"What?" She asks, almost in tears.

"He had a heart attack Donna… He couldn't resist it. I'm so sorry." He says, stroking her hand.

Donna is paralyzed looking at a fixed spot on the ground, tears falling down her cheeks, but she can't react.

"No Harvey, tell me it's a lie!" She begs.

"Don..." He wants to hug her.

"No Harvey!" She yells and walks away from him.

Donna walks back and forth until she hits the wall with her fists and begins to crumble.

Harvey approaches her and puts his hand on her back, moving his thumb there.

"No, Harvey..." She says, drowned in tears. "Not my dad."

Harvey hugs her against his chest, and she loses her balance, he holds her tighter and she grabs his shirt.

"I feel myself falling into the void."

"I got you." He says, hugging her tightly. "And if you fall anyway, I'm going to stay with you in the background until you can go up. Yes? You're not alone. I'm here. I got you." Harvey kisses her head and she nods.

Harvey just stays there, hugging his wife. People knock on the door, but he doesn't care. They won't go to get out of there until Donna has the least strength to do it.

They are lying in bed, Donna snuggles up in her husband, with her fists against his chest, holding his shirt tightly. He surrounds her with his arms, being firm and soft at the same time.

They have just returned from Jim's funeral.

Harvey's hand draws irregular patterns on Donna's arm, and she can't stop sobbing.

"Sorry." She whispers.

"Hey... Why?"

"I can't stop crying." She sobs.

Harvey slides a little over the bed, so he can stay face to face with her. He gently removes the strands of Donna's hair that are glued to her face by her tears and sweetly kisses her forehead.

"You never have to apologize for feeling pain, your dad just died. Of course, you're going to cry, that's what you have to do, what you need to do." He says, caressing her cheek with his thumb gently.

"I feel like I'll never be able to stop."

"It's going to pass eventually... It's going to hurt less, but first, you have to burn in pain, and I know, it sucks, but I'm here with you. Yes?"

"Promise me it's going to pass." She begs.

"I promise Donna." He says, joining his forehead with hers. "It's going to hurt less, you're going to cry less... But, give yourself time. You have to go through the pain."

"Hug me Harvey, please." She says, drowned in tears.

Harvey hugs her again and she snuggles up in his chest again.

"It's going to pass, I promise."

"I trust you, more than anyone."
