Post-Canon

Donna is leaning with her elbows on the kitchen counter, watching social media on her phone while eating a red apple by nibbling.

Harvey walks behind her, affectionately touches her lower back, and looks for his bottle of water in the fridge. Have a few sips and put it back in.

Donna leaves the apple and her phone resting on the counter to look at him and at that moment, he takes the apple and eats a bite.

Donna raises her eyebrow, looking at him confused.

Harvey chews and swallows very quietly, returning the apple to her.

"Excuse me?" She responds, taking the apple again.

"C'mon! As if you'd never eaten my beagles... Which by the way, you never returned!"

She giggles and shrugs. "It was always fun to bother you."

"I think I noticed you were having fun."

Harvey sits at the opposite counter and takes another apple from the fruit bowl. He takes a bite and stares at her, while she finishes her apple, leaning with her waist on the other counter.

"What?" She asks and crosses her arms.

"It's weird that you don't answer something where you think you can win."

"Come on, Harvey. Did you never read what was behind stealing your food or sharing a glass?" She raises her right eyebrow. "I thought you were smarter, Specter."

Harvey stretches his legs, surrounding her by her knees, and forces her to get more closer to him.

"Oh, so we've used double meaning all these years? I've never noticed it before." He laughs and spreads laughter to her.

"We could say yes." She takes the apple out of his hands and bites it. "Shit, it's better than the one I ate." She says giving it back to him.

"Yes, you're right." He bites a little more and eats as he looks at her, holding the laughter. "Do you want more?" He asks by teasing her and she sighs. "You can take it."

Donna wants to grab the apple, but Harvey won't let her.

"No, open your mouth."

"What?" She giggles.

Harvey brings the apple closer to her mouth and she tries to bite, but she can't because the apple slips out of her mouth and starts laughing.

"I can't like that, Harvey." She complains.

"Try again."

Donna snorts, tries again and again the apple slips between her lips before she can bite.

"Is it fun to do this?"

"Maybe... To tell you the truth, I thought you were more skilled with your mouth."

And in that carelessness of him, she steals his apple and gives another bite.

"With my mouth and with my hands, and you know it." She winks at him and he chuckles.

They put the apple aside and Donna approaches him even more, staying between his legs. He rests his hands on her hips and she rests her on his shoulders.

"Then ... That you stole my food meant...?" He asks, caressing her with his thumbs.

"The same thing that meant you risked your career for me, more than once. Maybe mine wasn't so heroic." She frowns.

"You put yourself at risk for me too, Donna."

"Yes, it's true." She pauses. "And I would do it again. Everything."

He smiles and pushes her against his body with his legs and arms. "Me too, everything." He kisses her sweetly on her lips. "Although... On second thought, if there is anything that would change."

"What?" She asks, looking at his mouth.
"Not having wasted so much time."

Donna surrounds his neck with her hands and makes their foreheads find, she raises her right hand to his neck and strokes his cheek with her thumb.

"It took the time it had to take, and I wouldn't change it if that makes us together today." She whispers on her lips and Harvey doesn't respond, only kisses her softly. "And just to let you know, I'll keep stealing your food." She gives him a short kiss on his lips and hugs him, resting her cheek on his shoulder. Harvey caresses her back with his palms and she smiles on his neck, hugging him even tight.

"You're right." He murmurs to her. "And it's okay, you can steal my food. I always enjoyed you doing it."

"I know it." She chuckles and separates a little from him. "Can we go for a few apple crumbles and coffee with cream?" She smiles at him with the illusion of a little kid and he smirks with her expression. "Please!" She begs, making a puppy face.

"Only if you let me wipe the cream off your lips with a kiss."

She smirks. "I love when you do that. It's another way to share food. Right?"

Harvey nods, smiling at her, and kisses her again. "Go for your coat."
