They argued that afternoon in Harvey's office for domestic stuff. They're interrupted by a completely meaningless emergency from Louis, so they should end their argument there. And they didn't talk about it again, nor did they see each other for the rest of the workday.

At the end of his day, Harvey approaches Donna's office and leans on the door frame, waiting for her to finish, but without saying anything. Donna takes a few extra minutes on purpose, waiting for him to say anything, but he doesn't.

She surrenders because Harvey doesn't even look at her, closes her laptop, looks for her coat and purse. Harvey starts walking toward the elevators before she leaves her office, and she just follows him, a few steps further back from him. She is sure that everyone realizes that something is wrong because they always come out holding hands and he makes her laugh with some joke or anecdote for his day.

They're alone in the elevator, again in silence. Donna has her eyes stuck on the ground and knows he's looking at her, but she doesn't dare look at him.

Ray is waiting for them and Harvey tells him to go to his condo. That night, they had agreed to sleep there. Still, he doesn't know what she will do, but anyway, his apartment is near to her and if she decides to go to hers, Ray will be able to take her from there. Each of them sitting at the tips of the seats, as physically distanced as they can be, and looking out the windows. It wasn't even a serious fight. The problem is that they become two children unable to face a problem and none gives the arm to twist.

Ray parks and Harvey gets out of the car, smiles covertly when he sees Donna doing the same, and they head to the building. They are alone in the elevator again; she is standing by giving her back to the door and Harvey stands behind her, carrying his hand to her hip, squeezing there and having Donna's reaction for the first time in all these minutes of complete silence.

She sighs and closes her eyes, trying to avoid it, but God knows Harvey won't take his hand out of there soon. Rather, he moves forward, pressing his body with hers and stroking his neck with her nose.

"Harvey," she sighs again, still trying to refuse, with no success.

"Donna," he says in the same tone, with a donkey smile, and gives her a kiss behind her ear that makes Donna's knees lose some stability, at which time he holds her even more against his body.

The elevator slows down and they separate without saying anything. They walk towards Harvey's condo and as soon as he closes the door, Harvey is kissing her and pushing her until she reaches the counter and wants to get her up there.

"Harvey, wait..." she tells him, grabbing him by the shoulders. But he doesn't respond. He just starts kissing her neck. "Harvey," she repeats. "Please." She tells him softly. "May we ever speak as adults who solve problems instead of having sex?" She asks, trying to sound as sweet as possible, and removes the hair that fell on her face. Harvey walks away from her, but Donna slows him down by putting her hand between his shoulder blades and standing in front of him. "Tell me something, please."

"I'm afraid to say something that will ruin it." He confesses with a little embarrassment.

She smiles tenderly. "Harvey, we won't ruin anything for a silly fight. We've argued all our lives, and we're still here."

"You once left." He says with a lump in his throat.

Donna bites her cheek and takes a deep breath and gently caresses his cheek. "I'm sorry, Harvey." She can't say more, just clinging to his neck and closing her eyes. He brings her even closer, wrapping her by her waist and sighing on her neck, hiding his face there.

"I didn't say it to hurt you." He whispers. "It's that–" He sighs. "I'm really afraid of ruining it. I'm not good at talking about these things."

She separates herself a little from him and rests her forehead on his. "We have to learn to stop hiding things under the carpet and talk about what's going on." She pauses and caresses her nose with his. "It's clear that with our personalities and the kind of relationship we always had, we're going to fight a few times, Harvey, but that doesn't mean this is going to end." She says by moving her fingers between them. "We're going to fight all our lives. It's time for us to learn how to fix it in the best possible way."

"All our lives?"

She rolls her eyes. "Don't deviate from the topic of this conversation."

"You don't make those statements." He approaches her and kisses her sweetly, making circles with his thumbs on her waist. "But you're right." He closes his eyes and Donna stares at him for a few seconds, moving her fingers on his shoulders. "It's that..." He giggles. "I was right this morning."

She giggles too. "We'll see. First, I'll take off these shoes and this dress." She says, walking towards the bedroom until she stops and turns her head to look at him. "In the mid-time, you can make yourself a drink because we all know I was right."

Harvey rolls his eyes and endures laughter.

God, that woman.

Donna arrives at the dressing room and Harvey approaches, though only to the bedroom. "Wait... if I agree with you, we can have sex tonight?" Harvey asks and hears Donna burst into laughter.

"It's Valentine's Day. You didn't say anything early. We spend all day in a stupid fight and I don't see that there are gifts or special dinners or anything... The least you can do today is to have sex with me tonight."

"We spent our first Valentine's Day fighting?"

"That's your response to my complaint? Never in your life did you celebrate Valentine's Day?"

"Never with my true Valentine." He says, his voice soft and fluffy, an effortless confession, walking towards her. "Sorry, I didn't know you were expecting something." He says, guilty.

"Am I your true Valentine?" She asks mutteringly. Her eyes are shining, her heart is racing, and her legs are feeling unstable. That man is always making love statements when she doesn't expect it. Her heart melts in love with him.

"Yes, you are." He says with a big smile on his lips. "But not even the little girl I told she was my Valentine when I was 10 years old reacted like that." He chuckles, a mixture of love and tenderness for her invades him. She giggles and Harvey grabs her by her hips, squeezing gently with his hands, gently moving her closer to him. "You're my Valentine, Donna. And sorry, I didn't organize anything and I should have."

She smirks. "I did it for you. It seemed to me that by doing it, I continued our tradition of doing things for you." She says and wraps his neck with her arms.

"You organized the dates or events that I didn't care about having or not. You do matter to me."

"I know, Harvey." Because she does. "But our lives are a mess now. What you just told me is enough. I know you now have your mind on removing Faye from the firm." She says and presses a kiss on his lips. "You're my Valentine, too, Harvey." She murmurs softly against his lips. "Take me to the bed. It will be better that you take my dress off."

"But who was right today?" She laughs and just kisses him as he reaches for the zip of her dress.

A day later because this was first posted on Twitter, but still, Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!
