Set during season 9

The food plates only have some traces of sauce, the wine glasses are empty and the forks rest on the dishes. They're sitting in front of each other, still in their office clothes, though both are barefoot. Harvey without his tie, and with his fists rolled up. Donna with a messy bun in her hair. Under the table, Donna's foot reaches Harvey's lap, and he affectionately massages her calf.

"You are so silent..." he murmurs after she doesn't omit any sound for several minutes.

"I was just enjoying it. You are good at it." She hums, relaxing even more in the chair, and Harvey grins proudly. "And I know it's late and soon the spell will be broken, so I was just absorbing the moment."

He chuckles. "Does that mean you want us to get up from here?"

"It's not that I want to. I just think we should." She shrugs, without too much enthusiasm.

Harvey leans his head, not understanding too much, but trying to follow her. Nor is it that the couch or the bed seem like unacceptable options. "Okay." He fondly squeezes her leg, making her purr, and both get up.

Harvey takes care of putting things in the dishwasher while she hands him the dishes.

"I'll ask for an Uber..." she says, reaching for her phone on the counter.

Harvey turns his head to look at her, completely confused. "Did I do something wrong?" he mumbles fearfully.

"No." She frowns, scratching her arm, a little nervous. "Why?"

"Because I thought we'd sleep together tonight." He says, closing the dishwasher.

Donna's facial expression softens immediately. "I–" she pauses and lowers her gaze, trying to hide her face. "I don't want to be too invasive with you, you're used to being alone, and that's fine if you need things to be slower—"

Harvey smiles tenderly and shortens the distance that separates them with a single step. One of his hands surrounds her by her waist and the fingers of his other hand raise her chin. "Donna…" he smirks. "I think we've been slow for too many years." Donna can't avoid a giggle, putting her hands on his hips. "I want to sleep with you every single night." His deep and honest voice, his hand coming down her arm. "You don't?" he asks, squeezing her lower back.

She smirks at him. "Yes, you're right." She mumbles, her hands going up the muscles of his arms. "Just, I don't know..." she giggles. "I'm feeling silly now... Sorry."

"You are not silly." He responds, hugging her against him and kissing her temple. Feeling his kiss, she closes her eyes with a slight smile on her lips. "You are welcome here every night, every day, even when I am not here. Okay?"

She smiles, nods, and loosens against his body. "You are also in my apartment." She says and hugs him tightly.

Harvey kisses her crown, nodding as well. "So, you didn't want to return to your place so late?"

She chuckles. "Ouch, you have caught me!"

"Oh, God!" he giggles and steps away enough to look at her. "I'll give you better massages in bed. Is this enough to convince you to sleep here?"

She smirks genuinely. "What have I done to deserve you?"

"You took care of me for 15 years. Now it's my turn."

"Yep, there's no way I can refuse that." She smiles, and he smooches her smiling lips. "I'm waiting for you there." She kisses him and starts walking away. "Hurry!"

"I'll be there before you took off that dress!"

"So..." she turns to look at him. "Won't massages be just for my legs?"

"They certainly won't be." He responds with a mischievous smile on his lips.

She raises her eyebrow while biting the side of her lower lip. "I'll be waiting for you then," Donna responds and leaves.
