Set on the beginning of season 9. No one knows about them yet.
It's still the morning when Harvey enters Donna's office, with a slight smile on his lips and a cup of her favorite coffee in one hand. He walks toward her and puts the coffee on her desk, but she is really focused on what she's doing and doesn't raise her head to look at him.
"What did you do?" she asks, as she types on her laptop.
Harvey frowns. "Why do you think I did something?" he snorts, dropping onto the chair in front of her.
"Because you're giving me a coffee and I know you more than you know yourself." She says, grabbing the coffee, still focusing on her screen. "So, tell me. What did you do?" she asks and drinks a few sips.
"Why can't it just be a 'I'm a great boyfriend' coffee?" Donna chokes on her coffee and lifts her head to look at him for the first time. "Are you okay? Do you need some water? Mouth-to-mouth breathing?" he asks with a smirk on his face, fully aware of what he just said.
Donna bites her lower lip, tilting her head to one side. "What did you say?"
"I bring you coffee because I'm a good boyfriend." He says calmly. There is no sign of nervousness on his face.
"So..." she raises her eyebrow. "You're my boyfriend?"
"I mean, if you want to..." he murmurs, moving his hand closer to hers on the desk.
She grins. "Yes, I think it sounds pretty great." She responds, rubbing his calf with her foot under the desk, enjoying his soft smile. Harvey twists his hand until he reaches her skin with his thumb. "But I wanna kiss my boyfriend now." She pouts, and that makes him grin. But when Harvey wants to answer, Louis enters the office and they part their hands before he realizes it.
Later, Donna enters Harvey's office, closes the door, and walks until standing in front of him. "Of course, I was right." She says, crossing her arms.
Harvey snorts and looks at her. "What?"
"That was an apology coffee. You told Benjamin that we're together!"
Harvey giggles and shrugs. "He won't tell anyone."
"He could email the entire firm with the news."
"But he won't."
"But he could," she responds and sits in front of him. "Don't get me wrong, I wanna say it to everyone." She says, sounding soft. "But you lied to me." She adds, squinting her eyes.
"I wanna tell them too." He says, grabbing her hand over the desk. "And I promise that the next one, it won't be an apology coffee," he adds, rubbing her wrist with his thumb.
She chuckles. "When will you learn you can't lie to me?"
He scratches his nape, a little nervous. "I guess I'll never have a secret again."
"Never?" she grins.
He denies it with his head. "Never." He mutters and squeezes her hand, and he loves when the powerful Donna Paulsen disarms and sees her blushing.
"So, Specter. Will we sleep in your condo or my apartment?"
He raises his eyebrow. "Sleep?" she giggles. "I mean, I think we have to celebrate that I'm your boyfriend now."
"I'll be waiting for you in your condo, then."
"You leave now?" she nods. "Ok, wait for me there then. I must send a few emails and I'll be free."
"In that case, I can wait for you."
He denies it with his head, a mischievous smile on his face. "Wait for me in my place. On my bed. Naked."
"Hurry, because I'll be cold!" she responds quickly, trying to avoid the electricity running through her body.
"That image in my mind is the best incentive to leave here soon!"
She smiles proudly, and he looks at her with a huge smile on his face as she stands up and heads toward the door of his office. Before opening the door, she turns on her axis and looks back at him. "And stop imagining me naked right now!"
"He laughs. "You have caught me!"
"Remember that you have no more secrets." She winks at him.
"Since we met… Have I ever had them?" both giggle, and she leaves his office.
The next day, Harvey brings her favorite coffee to her office again, and this time, she immediately raises her head to look at him. "Who did you tell this time?" she giggles.
"No one. I promise you this is just a 'I'm a great boyfriend' coffee. I guess you need some extra energy after the party we had last night."
Donna chuckles. "And this morning."
"And tonight again."
"I can't wait for it." She says and tastes her coffee. "God, this is so good!"
"You know that no one in the world drinks coffee so sweet, don't you?"
"And do you know that no one in the world takes more than a decade to accept their feelings, don't you?"
Harvey's jaw falls, putting his two hands on his chest as if she just had hit him there. "Low blow."
She chuckles. "I know, but now I wanna enjoy my sweet coffee!"
"Enjoy it! I have a meeting." He says and leaves her office.
When Harvey returns to his office, he finds a cup of his favorite coffee with a small note. "A bitter coffee for my boyfriend. How lucky you're to have me to sweeten your life :)" And yes, he is. Donna was right when that night at the bar. She told him it was his lucky day. And it was.
