Aftermath of the Vale Breach
Kakarot, Krillin, and team RWBY are seen together sitting on the edge of the landing dock of Beacon to look over the city and the horizon beyond while thinking about the events that happened in one day.
"Well, we did it." Yang said with Kakarot leaning his head on her shoulder.
"We did it." Blake and Kakarot agreed smiling.
"If we don't get extra credit for that, I'm gonna be seriously disappointed." Weiss said upset.
"You're kidding, right?" Krillin surprised that Weiss thinking about grades at a time like this.
"He's right, a two-headed snake literally crushed a bakery. I wouldn't count on it." Yang pointed out.
"Plus, I mean, we didn't solve everything. A lot of people were hurt, and we still don't even know why they did this, or who that mystery girl was." Ruby added, feeling sad that other things hasen't been clear to them yet.
"On the bright side, we kicked a lot of Grimms' butt and showed them that no Kingdom isn't going down because of strong Huntsmen and Huntresses like us still alive and kicking ass! Kind of wish I could fight some more." Kakarot said, feeling a bit disappointed that the battle had to end.
"I'm sure you'll get more fighting in the tournament." Yang assured and kissed his forehead.
"Still wish we could know more of what the bad guys were planning." Krillin said, feeling a bit worried.
"We might not have all the answers, but we do have a lot of dangerous people behind bars. And I think that's something we could be proud of." Blake believed with a smile.
"Yeah! And if anyone tries something like this again, we'll be there to stop them." Ruby smiled proudly.
"Yay, teamwork, camaraderie, good guys, go team, alright, good job..." Yang fell onto her back and exclaimed on those words, this causes Kakarot to fall on her stomach.
"Are you okay, Yang? You look a little worn out." Kakarot asked.
"Yeah, you could my fire is ALL worn out." Yang chuckled softly.
"Looking at you guys more closely, it seems like you haven't gotten any sleep at all." Krillin finally noticed this on team RWBY.
"That's because we've barely got any sleep and had to stay up when we found the bad guys in Mount Glenn." Blake explained.
"Well, guess the only thing we can do now is off to bed." Ruby suggested.
"Yes, please!" Yang threw her arms in the air.
"I was hoping you'd say that." Blake nodded.
"Absolutely." Weiss agreed on that notion.
"I could sleep forever." Yang proclaimed as everyone got up and Zwei runs around Kakarot's legs as he pet his head.
"Pretty crazy first mission for us, huh, Krillin?" Kakarot asked.
"Sure is, I just hope the next mission we get doesn't get us to leave so early again or anything super dangerous." Krillin said, feeling that fight had to make feel like he lost a lifetime from his soul.
"If we get those kinds of missions then we wouldn't be able to push ourselves to get stronger, like how I need to get stronger soon in order to protect Blake and the others." Kakarot pounded his fist into his hand.
"You always find a reason to keep getting stronger, you'll end up being the strongest in the entire world." Krillin pointed out how crazy strong Kakarot is.
"Maybe so, but it wouldn't hurt for people to come fight me to push themselves over the limits." Kakarot smiled with his hands behind his head.
"You know, maybe I should go talk to Bulma about something." Kakarot mentioned that smart girl.
"Why Bulma?" Krillin asked.
"Well, she's smarter than everyone here. So, maybe she could make a machine that help me train harder like maybe some weight clothing or something else." Kakarot answered.
"Not sure if she can pull that off, but she is from Atlas with the most advance technology in the world like their flying city for example." Krillin mentioned.
"Hold on a minute! You're saying that the Atlas city… can FLY?!" Kakarot shouted shock.
"Yeah, it's something about using lots and lots of gravity Dusts and I mean like a mountain lot though there was also this other rumor about another power source, but nobody knows if it's true or not." Krillin explained what he heard before coming to Beacon.
"Hmm, gravity." Kakarot started to think of something that could be useful to his training.
(Headmaster Ozpin's Office)
"Ozpin? Ozpin!" A man yelled at Ozpin from a video chat hologram screen.
"Yes, Councilman." Ozpin finally responded after looking over the city and thinking about how close the kingdom could have fallen had more Grimms come through nor any of the Hunters have come to stop them.
He looks to see there are a few other video screen chats though their faces are blank as their faces cannot be seen, all except for James Ironwood who is also within the group chat for this meeting.
"You've left us no choice! The Vytal Festival tournament cannot be broadcast, let alone held, if we are unable to ensure the safety of the citizens." The Vale Councilman stated.
Ozpin simply drinks his mug while looking calm and casual as always.
"Ahem... Therefore, we have reached out to the Atlas Council and together have decided that the best action is to appoint General Ironwood as head of security for the event." The Vale Councilman announced.
"Thank you, Councilman. Our Kingdom is happy to lend as many troops as it takes to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely as possible." James promised with honor and strength in his words.
"And we thank you, General." The Vale Councilman thanked.
"Will that be all?" Ozpin asked.
"For now. But after this festival comes to a close, we are going to have a serious discussion about your position at Beacon Academy. General Ironwood's reports over the last few weeks have left us somewhat... concerned. I am sure you understand." The Vale Councilman said before he and other Council members' feed disappeared leaving only James' video feed.
"This is the right move, Ozpin. I promise, I will keep our people safe, you have to trust me." James pleaded before hanging up the feed.
Ozpin turns around to look out the window seeing an Atlesian Ariship flying past the tower knowing that ship belongs to James.
(With James)
James is looking out the window of his own personally ship to look at the tower of Beacon Academy feeling about there are still secrets that Ozpin is keeping from himself and the secret group, and that just made him feel unease with the man he's supposed to trust.
"You brough this on yourself." James said.
The general made his way to the prison part of the ship that is heavily guarded by four Atlas soldiers, and the cell door opens to reveal Roman sitting there and without his trademark hat.
"Leave us." James ordered as he wants to have a private integration with the criminal. The soldiers leave to wait outside.
"I've been informed that so far you've refused to co-operate with the authorities." James said.
"I know this might be hard to believe, General, but uh... I'm not the biggest fan of local law enforcement." Roman joked with a grin.
"How about the world's strongest military power?" James asked, sounding serious and letting Roman know that he has the authority to use that against him.
"Hmm… first impressions... not great." Roman shrugged, unfazed of the general's threat.
"I'm going to give you one chance. Who's really behind all this?" General Ironwood demanded with a serious glare.
"Isn't it obvious?" Roman smirked, James leaned forward with one ear facing toward Roman to listen.
"You're looking at him." Roman leaned back and his arms out a little with a smirk.
However, Ironwood was not convince that Roman has made this entire operation on the Dusts stealing and stealing some of the Atlas military equipment to bring Grimms into the city, the thief may have his own smarts but he wasn't that smart or crazy enough to even think of doing something so dangerous that would put himself in danger too.
There was also the fact that Roman was caught that got the general concern, but he can see this guy isn't willing to talk anytime soon.
"Very well then." James said before turning around and walking away.
"What's the matter, General? I thought you wanted to talk." Roman said playfully.
"The council's given me custody over you for as long as I see fit. So, you can make yourself comfortable. I can be sure that you'll have plenty of time to talk." James assured him that they will have more to "talk" later on.
"Oh, wonderful…" Roman chuckled with a smirk.
"(Second Phase of the plan… Complete.)" Roman thought declared, and now he has to wait for Cinder and her group to carry on the rest.
(With Cinder's Group)
Cinder and her two followers are looking down at the area where the Grimms have invaded when Roman broke through the wall with the train, but despite the Hunters being able to stop the hordes from barely harming any people and kept them from dying, Cinder smiles.
"All in all, I call today a success." Cinder declared.
"Those stupid kids really made a mess of things." Emerald shook her head, wondering how this could even happen in the first place.
"Yeah. A lot of Faunus didn't make it out of the tunnels. You still think the White Fang's gonna listen to us?" Mercury asked, a bit worried this could cost them an ally with the White Fang.
"No, but they'll listen to me." Adam stated, walking up to the group.
"And I take it you have witness that monkey boy's strength." Adam said, referring to Kakarot taking out two Goliaths in one shot.
"I knew the kid was strong when I sparred with him, but that… That right there was crazy strong!" Mercury admitted, even fearing that Kakarot could kill him with ease if he wanted to.
"Not only that, but he has become far stronger than when I last fought that brat." Adam stated with a hateful glare under his mask.
"You got to be kidding me…" Mercury hung his head exclaiming.
"I am not." Adam said.
"I also noticed something else whenever he and I have a fight with each other. Every time he recovers from a serious fight or gets healed from some worse injuries, he comes back stronger than ever." Adam explained his experience with his fight against Kakarot.
"It's almost like his body was made to be fitted as the perfect warrior, to grow stronger faster than normal through training and even being healed from serious injuries." Adam theorized.
"Okay, now that just proves this kid is the most trouble of them all." Emerald worried.
"Indeed, and from what you told us of Kakarot, he'd continue to get stronger in the hopes of facing stronger opponent and surpassing himself as any martial artist would think of the same thing." Cinder stroked her chin, looking over at Beacon Academy from a distance.
"There's also the Vytal Festival plan we have to consider. If that monkey brat gets in the way then everything we have prepared for will be for nothing." Emerald feared.
That got Cinder to worry about knowing that Emerald makes a good point seeing as she also saw how strong that boy is firsthand, but she also thought carefully on the boy's personality that she knows so far and measuring his strength in her head. Then her mind went back on the moment back in their room when Emerald mentioned the giant ape and the full moon.
"(Hmm, I'm getting a strange feeling that Kakarot may hold a special role in the plan, after all.)" Cinder thought smirked.
"That look on your face means you have a plan to deal with Kakarot, or at least keep him at bay from interrupting the plan." Adam guessed when looking at Cinder's face.
"You could say that." Cinder smirked before walking away from the edge of the rooftop.
(With Kakarot and Blake)
Hours have passed since the big Breach of the Vale city that everyone is still talking about that incident and no doubt it's going to be on the big news in the morning, it'll be the talk for days or maybe even weeks.
Kakarot is seem standing at the edge toward the Emerald Forest where the launching platforms are, standing on one of them makes him think back on how the initiation was back then.
"I see you're about to skip on dinner." Blake said, walking up to her adopted little brother.
"Just thinking about how far we have come since we got here, all the training we went through back on Menagerie did not prepare us for this kind of adventure." Kakarot looked at his fist and up at the night sky.
"Yeah, fighting against the White Fang that went darker than before even teaming up with an evil human like Roman, then came battling a giant mech, infested Grimm in an abandoned city, and battling Grimms that got in the city." Blake listed the things that happened to them.
"All that and we're first in our first-year." Kakarot nodded.
"True, but that doesn't mean we should let this get over our heads and think we're invincible. We still don't know a lot and the next danger could be more than we can handle." Blake stated.
"That reminds me of how dad heard this saying from a marital artist master. Always keep in mind the world is a lot bigger than we thought, there are always someone stronger than you and to keep on training to be ready when the time comes to face those powerful warriors." Kakarot held his fist in the air.
"That's what gets me so excited the more I think about it!" Kakarot smiled.
"I bet you are, but you want to be the strongest in the whole universe." Blake giggled.
"Yeah, maybe I'll be able to find the planet where I came from and maybe meet my parents." Kakarot said looking at the stars.
"So, do you still remember your family?" Blake asked with concern.
"I do, though just barely. I do remember that I had a mom and dad, and there was an older brother. But that's all I can remember, their faces a bit fuzzy and I can't even recall my brother's name." Kakarot answered with a nod.
"Guess the memories are still unclear from the head injury I got years ago." Kakarot chuckled.
"You're lucky that head injury wasn't too serious otherwise you might've gotten about us." Blake pointed out.
"So, think Ozpin will let us do those missions again since we had to leave early with the Grimm attack and all?" Kakarot asked.
"I don't know, but right now, I don't want to talk about missions and any other things for a long while." Blake turned around and walked away.
"Yeah, maybe you're right." Kakarot nodded before following Blake.
"Speaking of Ozpin, there's something you should know right now." Blake said as she is about to tell her little adopted brother that Ozpin knows that he's an alien.
"Like what?" Kakarot asked curious.
"Ozpin knows that you're an alien." Blake revealed.
"Oh, does he now?" Kakarot nodded calmly, until five seconds later.
"WHAT?!" Kakarot gasped shock.
Unknown to them, there is a raven sitting on a tree branch watching the Belladonna siblings going back to the school and the raven is watching especially on Kakarot for a moment before flying away in the night sky.
(The Next Day)
"Hey, Bulma!" Kakarot called out seeing the girl outside of the exchange student dorm.
"Morning, Kakarot! Out doing some early training?" Bulma greeted her monkey friend.
"There's that, but there is also something I wanted to talk to you about. Something that can definitely help me train harder than ever before!" Kakarot smirked exciting.
Bulma wasn't sure what this monkey-Faunus was going at though she does suddenly find herself interested with hearing what Kakarot has to say, so she listens to what Kakarot tells her of this idea he had in mind and Bulma is blown from the crazy idea that she just heard thinking that he is crazy to even think of something like that.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Everyone has now earned their deserved rest from all the fighting within the city though not everything is good like James taking over security, and Cinder is thinking of a plan that involves Kakarot. As you also notices that Kakarot still remembers he has a family from another planet, the head injury he got was less than in the anime show.
